Temple Restaurant

After thinking I’d booked this place for 7pm we’d turned up to a reasonably busy restaurant where they’d sat us down, only to come tell us that I’d somehow cancelled my table and must’ve double booked somewhere. Fear not, they said come back in an hour or so and they’ll be a table ready for us. Went to a local pub to consume a beer and got a call 30 minutes later to tell us they have a table ready for us now. We turned up after shortly finishing our drinks where we greeted with our servers who were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Every detail from the quality of paper of the menu to the bottle of wine recommended for us to the cool crockery was all absolutely fabulous. The food was tapas style served as a set menu and was truly amazing. Flavour wise, all the dishes were outstanding and the standout was the scallops which I inevitably had to get every last drop… I know I’ve said the price is expensive but my girlfriend and I are greedy pigs but I wouldn’t have it any other way lol. The staff were chatty and friendly, giving us recommendations for the rest of our trip in the area and one bloke who can’t have been older than 18 was absolutely class. Bailey told me he’d been working there for a week but he made it seem like he’d been there for so much longer - top man! I didn’t catch the name of the lovely lady who was also looking after us but she was another quality member of the team. Please visit this restaurant if you’re in the area!!!

Just found this place, as i needed a quick coffee. Im still drinking the coffee as a write this because the coffee is that good! Perfect temp made by a lovely young girl. Date visit 1.30pm 12/12. Lovely little gem. If ever in the area will most deffinatly pop in for food. Menu looked lovely.

Fantastic evening meal, different type of menu as a set menu of 3 plates for starters to share and then a choice of either meat fish or vegetarian for main and sides Really liked the concept, food was excellent backed up by attentive and happy service, would highly recommend

Wonderful meal here last night. I wish I’d taken some photos of the food, but we were hungry and tucked in! The sea bass for 2 was particularly tasty! Highly recommended.

Booked in advance for 2 of us evening out without the kids. Nice set menu - limited choice but we found enough especially with the additional offering of small plates which we opted for the scallops. 3 x vegetarian starters which were tasty - especially the garlic scapes which were new to us. Mains of hake and rump steak served up with some really nice slaw and most excellent roast potatoes. More high end dining but very enjoyable

We enjoyed a really wonderful meal at Temple last night. The menu was imaginative and well executed and every single dish was delicious. The new owners and new chef are doing all the right things to make this the great restaurant that Bude has been missing. We will be back as soon as we can!

Lovely restaurant with a great menu. Very happy to adapt pretty much any of the dishes to be vegan ( most of the menu was veggie) really great adaptations and super tasty food. We also bought a vegan carrot cake to take away which was super tasty. Beautiful decor and really friendly service

An excellent experience.. I would give Temple a 10/10 if I could. Welcoming, charming staff and amazing food; impeccably prepared with obvious passion and knowledge and each dish was a culinary adventure. Top marks guys and thank you for a wondeful lunch.. I can't wait to come back..
