Tempo - Review - Bethnal Green - London - The Infatuation

"Tempo is a restaurant and bar from the same team behindDan’s. They serve South East Asian dishes—all picky plates like whipped tofu with wonton crisps, green chilli prawn toast, and oyster mushrooms with fuyu butter—alongside natural wines from a Bethnal Green railway arch." - Sinéad Cranna

We had a lovely time here with attentive staff and incredible food. The atmosphere is inviting and calm, my puppy slept through our meal! The dishes are served on beautiful crockery which really adds to the experience. I recommend the aubergine on whipped tofu, and the tiramisu! We will definitely be back ⭐️

Had the loveliest time at this new spot! Great wine selection and excellent food. Some must orders are the prawn toast, whipped tofu with braised aubergine, and honey butter madeleines.

Sensational spicy food and one of the best wine lists in London. Check it out asap!

Came for the whipped tofu & aubergine, stayed for all of the in-your-face flavor and execution. The banh hoi was "al dente", the perfect side to the tender chicken you could cut with the wrong side of the knife. The prawn toast wasn't as standout to me as the rest, but I'll be back to try more of the menu. Environment (decor + service) is intimate and warm, perfect to watch the chefs work at the bar with a date, or to meet with a small group of friends at one of the lower tables.
