AVOID ‼️ For foreigners, this place is discriminatory in their service and we got overcharged as all the other 1 star reviews have said (PLEASE take a photo of your order slip if you still want to order here so that you can get your money back)
Our experience:
1. We saw there was a lunch set but upon coming in, the waiter saw me google translating the lunch set menu and passed me the english menu which notably does not have the lunch set.
2. We still called him over later on to ask if the lunch set was available by pointing to the Japanese menu but he was off putting in his service, trying to act confused but we insisted on ordering 1 lunch set anyways (note, at this point I didn’t think much of his attitude and attributed it to the language barrier)
3. We added on a rice and miso soup set, but our miso soup was not served and when asked for it, the waiter acted like we were ordering it and asked “how many?”, and proceeded to not serve it till much later though he apologised
4. The one that pisses me off the most is no doubt the overcharged bill, receipt was given with no items mentioned, the math didn’t add up even considering the 10% consumption tax. Ended up paying 7000 yen more
5. We witnessed how Japanese costumers were served first despite arriving significantly later
This is NOT how you do business and treat foreigners, really the first I have ever seen in Japan. The food is NOT worth being treated as such.
