This is certainly the most hipstery millennial/Gen Z cafè I have ever been to in my life (and I've been to Portland, Oregon!). I came here while I was on a break from work and it absolutely did not disappoint. The layout is a like an open concept kitchen, so it was a little confusing at first to figure out where to order (there's a tablet on the counter to the far right of the cafe), but a nice barista came and helped me take my order. When I explained that I wanted it to-go the barista then launched into explaining that their to-go cups are actually skinny glass jars. (I believe they only come in one size, which might be 12 Oz. So think of it as a tall size Starbucks order.) that surprised the hell out of me, but it's honestly better for the environment as you can repurpose the jar for something else or bring it back to exchange for another drink, without the glass/to-go surcharge (of $1).
I live a little too far, unless I'm working in LA which I do about once or twice a week, to exchange glasses on a daily, and thank god I do, or else I would be in here every freaking day! I ordered an ice chai latte w/ whole milk (but they have lots of plant based options too if you're into that) and it was so freaking creamy and delicious. So now I do have to go back and exchange my jar.
Overall great cafè, looks like a lot of ppl like to do work on their computers and stuff in here too. It's clean, relatively quiet and they have a lot of drink options that I now want to explore. I don't know anything about the food, but I'm sure that's great too!
