First Impression, the rustic-modern atmosphere immediately impresses with its bright, inviting space and the irresistible aroma of smoked meats. Our meal for two, totaling around $53, included a pulled pork sandwich, a half chicken, two sides, and two adult beverages. While it felt a bit on the pricier side, the experience was largely satisfying.
The pulled pork and half chicken were solid contenders. However, the sides presented a mixed bag. The fried okra, regrettably, was a touch over-salted, and the mac and cheese leaned more tangy and runny than rich and creamy. A minor quibble for those who enjoy a kick: the absence of a spicy BBQ sauce left us craving a bit more heat to complement the smoky flavors.
Despite these small misses, Ten50 BBQ offers a generally decent barbecue experience. We'll likely find ourselves back at some point to explore more of their meat options.
