Tips From A Bellman
Google
I had 2 $10 food vouchers , so I decided to give them a try. Like many people I'm a chicken tender fan. I got the Jackson Heights Hot Chicken Tenders , Waffle Fries , and a Mello Yellow Soda. The chicken fingers were decent size , but I read another review that the owners had told them to cut the size and they used to be larger. You get 3 chicken tenders which I would think for $13 you should get 4. The Seasoned Waffle Fries were $6 , and the Soda was $6 for a fountain drink , really.
JACKSON HEIGHTS HEAT CHICKEN TENERS -
BIRD PEPPER, CHIVES, KOSHER PICKLES
WITH ZESTY WHITE BBQ
They were pretty good with lots of sauce and it did have a nice kick if you're like me and like it hot , but not too hot. They weren't very crispy which is more like I like them also , I like to taste the chicken not just hard breading. The pickles tasted fresh and are kosher slices.
SEASONED WILLIAMSBURG WAFFLE FRIES $6
I was disappointed in these. I love the waffle fries at Carl's Jr because they taste like fries and are crispy and potatoey. These were hard and had no flavor except for the seasoning they added to them. They tasted like cheap bad frozen ones from the grocery store.
FOUNTAIN SODA
They have a Coca Cola Freestyle Soda Machine in the Food Court that you can pick so many combinations of soda to make to your taste or try out. 165 different combinations according to Wikipedia. It's just crazy to charge $6 for it though.
All in all I would like to try some of the other chicken tenders with food vouchers of course since it is rather pricey. I would like to try the soft serve custard also. I saw a picture of a cup with blueberries on it that looked good. I would just get the tenders to take home and get fries somewhere else or maybe have with a pizza. I would go here again before going to Tony Luke's , that was bad.
