Tender Greens

Great service. Kind staff experience. Very fair prices. You order at the counter but the food is brought to you and staff walk around offering refills on drinks. Gets crowded at lunch time. Extensive menu choices. Ambiance is casual. There's a parking garage around the corner. First hour is free.

Really nice dining option in downtown Culver City. The food is relatively healthy and tastes homemade. They balance the proteins with lots of healthy options including different types of rice, greens, and nuts. I was particularly impressed with the short rib mash. For the price point, I was surprised at the quality of the braised short rib, had a sweet and smoky glaze that paired well with the mashed potatoes. The green juice is also great and for a great price as well. It's the kind of place I would consistently go to if I need a break from eating out too much and needing something healthier with a touch of home.

Shout out to the staff who were beyond lovely! Can't give five stars for two reasons: a) the ambiance is lacking and needs improvement; inside is too chaotic with the kitchen prepping & everyone ordering, while the outdoor seating area is pretty ugly and feels like you're sitting in an alley b) I ordered the Longevity Bowl w/ maitake mushrooms and everything was on the salty/sour side but the mushrooms themselves were way too salted to the point a bite of one could not be enjoyed on its own. I think the salt got in between all of the mushroom's folds and it was just too much. Hoped it was a fluke occurrence, but from reading others' reviews it seems the chef needs to ease up on the salt! I'll end on a positive note to say the sourdough bread is delicious.

Tender Greens is a must have for fast, fresh and quality cuisine. I thought that I reviewed them when I visited LA a few weeks ago but later realized I didnt. I wish this place was in Detroit. The plate options are a protein, a carb/starch side and a type of salad option. They also have great bowls, salads and sandwiches to choose from. I added their mint lemonade for a tasty drink. They cook to order and the portion is great! If you are eating in a health conscious way Tender Greens fits the bill. Just simple good food at a great price. This location has a excellent outdoor space and the staff/service was wonderful. When I go back to Cali I'll be back at this place for all the deliciousness.

The food was decent, the chicken is a little dry but it's good if you like chicken breast. We were sitting outside and the leaves was falling on our plates lol.. perhaps they should have umbrella on the outside. Also wish the employees will come out and check on the customers too. We have to go inside and refill the drinks.

The two people that helped me went above and beyond Kia and Tori come to find out she is the manager great job on staff, very service oriented, great food always no matter which tender green’s always have a great experience. Highly recommend seating indoors or outside. Parking can be a little difficult. I got the choose your own plate and added an additional protein and additional greens. Steak is my go to but I wanted to try something different tried the BBQ chicken did not disappoint.

Tasty and spicy fried chicken sandwich! All white meat was crispy and had a great kick too it, but not overpowering. Slaw, sauce and pickles all added to the crunchy and crispiness. For $10 this is a great value!

Excellent cuisine. Loved the CA bowl. Iff the glass windows and doors were kept clean it would be perfect.
