Tender Greens

The food was okay. I feel like the quality of the food was alot better and tastier when Tender Greens first opened up. I ordered the bbq chipotle plate with roasted potatoes, romaine hearts and seasonal vegetables. The roasted potatoes were overly soaked in oil and could have been cooked/fried more. The seasonal vegetables was decent, nothing to really rave about. I liked the Cesar salad but there was a little too much Parmesan cheese for my liking. The bbq chipotle chicken had some flavor. I did wish my food was way hotter than it was. I’m also not a fan of the in kitchen made ketchup. If you like regular ketchup, request for the packets. I ordered the watermelon drink- very delicious! And not too sweet. The customer service was great, very friendly and welcoming staff.

We ordered chicken pesto sandwich and tomato mozzarella and it was great, tomato soup needed a little more salt but it was good, I’ve tried their bowl before and they’re great especially the Mediterranean falafel bowl.

This is hands down the worst Tender Greens in LA. I have been to multiple locations and this one does not even feel like the same brand. My order showed up sloppy, sauce containers open and spilled all over the food like no one bothered to close a single lid. Delivery ran 20 minutes late on top of that. On top of that my side salad was tiny and I was missing a falafel from my three piece falafel. When I called, the manager Tory told me I had to order through the app to fix it. When I told her I did order through the app she still refused to help. Completely useless. Tender Greens usually justifies charging 40 dollars a plate, but not here. If something goes wrong their attitude is basically “too bad.” Sloppy food, missing items, late delivery, terrible management. This place SUCKS and I do not recommend it.

Really nice dining option in downtown Culver City. The food is relatively healthy and tastes homemade. They balance the proteins with lots of healthy options including different types of rice, greens, and nuts. I was particularly impressed with the short rib mash. For the price point, I was surprised at the quality of the braised short rib, had a sweet and smoky glaze that paired well with the mashed potatoes. The green juice is also great and for a great price as well. It's the kind of place I would consistently go to if I need a break from eating out too much and needing something healthier with a touch of home.

I’m deeply concerned and confused about my meal. When I went in to pick up my order tonight, I saw a gloved employee eating fries that they were packing for my order. I kept watching as she then took her gloved hand that she used to feed herself my food, and touched her apron, shirt, and face before using the same glove to touch the rest of my veggies that went with my fries and continued to make food without changing gloves or washing hands. Sad to say I won’t be coming back. Please ensure food safety and frequent glove changes, esp after touching personal items.

The food was decent, the chicken is a little dry but it's good if you like chicken breast. We were sitting outside and the leaves was falling on our plates lol.. perhaps they should have umbrella on the outside. Also wish the employees will come out and check on the customers too. We have to go inside and refill the drinks.

We ordered a few plates including ferro salad (highly recommend as it has a nice chewy texture and cranberry is a great add on!), median rare steak and spinach salad with goat cheese. Reducing one star its slow service of our friend’s pasta order which takes 10 mins extra when there was no one in store other than us. Hope they can improve their operations next time.

Great service. Kind staff experience. Very fair prices. You order at the counter but the food is brought to you and staff walk around offering refills on drinks. Gets crowded at lunch time. Extensive menu choices. Ambiance is casual. There's a parking garage around the corner. First hour is free.

The food is always good and fresh. That's what I like about the tender fresh food!! OH and steak. I dream about it sometimes.

Really delicious and healthy foods. We got Baked Falafel (sea salt and herb oil) with 2 sides (got Seasonal Vegetables and Baby Greens). Portion was pretty big. The falafel was so delicious. It was soft and creamy and flavorful. The vegetables were very clean and also delicious. Roasted Tomatoes Cup is very delicious! The tomato soup was not acidic. Very nice with croutons. The soup has fresh tomato puree. Parking: we had to pay for park at the parking garage. I don't know if there are any street parking that's free cuz we didn't look. Friendly cashier explaining the menus ingredients. Would be coming back for sure to try other stuff.

Really need to pay attention to customers in the store vs just the to gos. Went in after I order Joe and the juice which took 10 min for a sandwich to get a side of Mac n cheese and it took 35 min. From the time I went in it took them 15 min to even take my order and another 20 to hand it to me. Took so long I had to pay $7 at the parking garage cause it went over. I

Was that with my family and we wanted to eat healthy so we decided on tender greens we went to the location in Culver City below you'll see my vegan plate as always it's delicious along with a side of salmon topped it off each and every time any location I go to they deliver the same quality across the board. the food was delicious. The service was very nice. Plus, the audience was very good and clean. Also, the restrooms were clean no complaints here.

I had the falafel as a protein and baby greens & seasonal veggies as the side. Delicious! My girlfriend who typically doesn't like falafels quite thoroughly enjoyed this. Very nice texture and flavor. The accompanying sauce enhanced it as well! Service was excellent. They were super friendly.

I went to Tender Greens today. I dined in. I had the Longevity Bowl with Grilled Salmon. I also had a Pomegranate Ginger Agua Fresca drink. The food and drink were great. Everything was flavorful. Service was good.

I haven't been to Tender Greens in ages, but I really wanted a salad. This Tuna salad was so nasty. The Tuna wasn't seasoned and the vinaigrette dressing drowned out all of the potential flavors. I ate the salad because I was extremely hungry, but I couldn't eat that Tuna. This was very disappointing. The food is not good and the Holden vinaigrette didn't do it for me. I am upset and still hungry. I won't be returning.

This particular visit to Tender Greens was a subpar experience. The proteins in our plates were over cooked. The shrimp was over done and the salt and pepper chicken was dry and cold. I guess it was an off day for the kitchen. The vegetables were delicious. Be sure to check in for a free agua fresca.

This is my absolute FAVORITE tender greens location. I've been to a handful, but none of them come CLOSE to the service and the food of the downtown culver one. My food is always fresh and is constantly exceeding my expectations. (I always get the same thing but it is ALWAYS amazing) Thank you to the staff that makes these things possible! Your hard work does not go unnoticed, see you again soon.

Second time I order here. First order I picked up, I found a bread clip inside my food. Today we just picked up our second order, I found a back hair inside my salad. Tried calling several times the restaurant and It's voice mail. Overall a disappointing experience

The staff is phenomenal--warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food is consistently delicious, and I've actually made my way through the entire menu since I eat there 3-5 times a week! What really stands out is how every guest is treated like a valued individual, not just another order. That kind of service is hard to maintain, especially in a fast-paced environment, but the team pulls it off effortlessly. Because of the great atmosphere and food, I've recommended Tender Greens to several of my closest friends, and they've all had similarly positive experiences.

This is my second time trying Tender Greens and this location probably has one of best customer service that I've had 10/10. I decided to order a plate which consisted of a protein with greens & a side. I chose the grilled steak with seasonal vegetables& crispy potatoes . Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. I'll definitely be going back and adding this place to my top 10. #NewTenderGreenLover

Well, have not been back here in ages and to be honest... not as good as I remembered. Nothing wrong with the chicken cobb salad I ordered but just okay... what is still great is sitting outside with plenty of shade and plenty of privacy bc tables are arranged perfectly. I love Culver City and it's my neighborhood so I support Tender Greens and will continue to have lunch here but definitely open to new suggestions!

I love their Pacific Bowl. Salmon with rice and a really good sauce. I noticed the sauce has tasted different the last month. I can't quite describe why, but something changed. Not as tastey. Maybe someone in the kitchen management can look into that.

I've been going to Tender Greens since day 1 - literally!! I stumbled upon them in Culver City on their opening day over a decade ago and am so happy to know the consistently great food and service have remained the same. I've switched to getting their family style meals and a la carte items for meal prep and I wish more restaurants did this! So genius and helps me save time with my family. As long as I'm around TG will always a have a fan in me!

Sigh.....this place is pretty pathetic. It has gone wayyyyy downhill since the early days. The restaurant was dirty. They completely changed the setup and the menu. The food was overcooked and expensive. I threw much of it away. I will not return.

Father's day dinner with the family! Had it delivered and everything was delicious! Had the Salmon plate and the Steak plates! Loved the roasted veggies! Thanks!

tender greens is consistently tasty healthy yummy and a go to for when I'm too tired to cook

This place is filthy. Of the 6 tables inside to eat at, 4 of them were dirty. I had to clean my own table.

If you can't handle fulfilling online orders why accept them? Two hours to fill an order and the (overpriced) food is cold?

Order the longevity bowl with Grubhub. Never had it before. I haven't eaten at tender greens in a long time. I get it and there's no potatoes as stated on the menu. Asked for napkins and utensils - didn't get any. The bowl itself was whatever. The lentils were good. The rest of it was nothing special. The sauce didn't do it any favors.

The ambiance and service were good. The menu selection is what drove me to try the food but when the food arrived, it was so sad. I got the fried chicken, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. That chicken did not look fried at all. It look breaded and heated up in a microwave. The Mac and cheese had no salt so it was so bland. The only saving grace was the mashed potatoes and the piece of toast. Also, we got a kids pasta and the pasta also did not have any salt. The pasta sauce was also very bland. I don't know if they had an off day, but this was way off. Id be hard pressed to come back again unfortunately. I was really excited about the menu too.

I have done two visits where while in town. I did a takeout order with the Plate (steak, mash potatoes, seasonal veggies, and a side of chicken pozole soup). The order took a while but there were a few people ahead of me. Two nights later, I wasn't that hungry but really wanted soup. I couldn't find any place else around that had decent soup. I decided rather than doing takeout, I would eat it here so that my soup wouldn't get cold. I placed my order - pozole (again) and mashed sweet potatoes. Less than 5 mins, my order was out. The pozole was a bit spicy but it had good flavor and hit the spot. I opted for the cup size which was just right for me. The mashed sweet potatoes had a good texture and flavor. Thank you Tender Greens for being around!

Good size portions, and you can choose two sides- mashed and salad or mashed and veggies, or even change it to soup- great healthy options in this lovely place! I have been coming to "Tender Greens" for years and can definitely say that quality of food and service there is just great! I also love new options they have been introducing, and apart from steak and chicken (which I also love- salt and pepper:)) they now have tuna! What could be better??? Best spot to stop by at lunch and in the evening!

I'm fat... We're fat. Every Sunday the 3 of us committed to hiking and afterwards treat ourselves to a healthy lunch. We miss the cocktail mimosas, but we know their bad for us while were trying to lose weight, clear our minds and enjoy each other's company. We now have ended up here for the past two Sundays. It's been a long time since I've eaten here. By looking at the extensive menu, I was undecided. I ended up with the Salmon Bowl. It was delicious. The counter gal, Kia is always soooooo friendly, patient and attentive. She literally runs the whole place with a positive attitude.

I met up with some friends here for the first time. It's a nice and simple order, sit at a table outside, and they'll bring you your food. I ordered a falafel sandwich with mashed potatoes, and I loved it! Those mashed potatoes were delicious, and I didn't miss the fact that there was no gravy to go with it. Because it absolutely does not need gravy. I really enjoyed my falafels as well, every bite had a burst of flavor. This is a great place for lunch.

I finally have tried a new sandwich and it DID NOT disappoint! It was the chipotle chicken sandwich...all ingredients were fresh and delicious. The team is on it and get your food to you pretty quickly.

Love the food here! It's excellent, but don't order online. They are not capable of handling an online order even from their own website. Have had to be refunded more than once because when I arrive, they don't even have the order started even though it is on their computer. Eat there and don't order from website. It's a much better experience

This was my first time at Tender Greens and I thought it was super good. Their falafels were delicious and had the perfect texture. The California bowl tasted extremely fresh and filled me up. My boyfriend ordered the chicken sandwich which he said was good but a little oily. Their outside patio is huge and super clean. Glad I got to stop by and try Tender Greens!

Haven't been to Tender Green Culver City for a while but since we have a gift card we decided to come for a late lunch. We were warmly greeted when we came on a Friday afternoon which is nice. Unfortunately, that's the end of the positive aspect of our experience. Our food took quite a long time to arrive which is surprising since it's 3:15 pm and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The worst part is the outdoor seating area smells like urine. To be fair, this is a problem on the whole street block but I didn't expect it on the side alley where the outdoors tables are. To cap it off, an employee gets her lunch and while there's six tables indoors she sits next to us and proceeds to watch her phone without head phones. A bad lunch experience to say the least. Definitely won't be coming back.

I thought every tender greens is the same and it is not. I visited the Culver city one today and the workers are super kind, friendly, fast and amazingly welcoming. The food tasted yummier also. A great experience.

This location is FILTHY! ALL of the doors and tables (visible dust and dirt) are disgusting. The health department should be contacted to inspect this place from top to bottom. People handling the food don't wear hair nets, the cook went from handling the food to handling the register and back to handling the food again without ever changing his gloves! I don't trust anything in this place. I will never come here again. Management should be ashamed of themselves for allowing their establishment to be operated so poorly. The quality of Tender Greens has plummeted since it's first opening. This isn't the first location that I've found in this condition. It's unfortunate, Tender Greens used to be my favorite place to eat.

Some things like revenge are best served cold, but not good. Items sautéed in butter for example, when served cold taste somewhere just the side of lard mix vegetables called potatoes were excellent no complaints there. However, the salmon did not break apart. It was more like oatmeal called and gooey most unpleasant I was outvoted, and this was my second bad experience there Worthy of notation it is a definite, not recommend . Employees were gracious, and very polite and knowledgeable. Service was excellent. Just the food was awful that's all.

The sandwich that I ordered was the chicken pesto that was delicious and I also ordered some side salads everything was delicious. I then finished up with dessert the olive oil cake and the carrot cake muffin I get the same thing all the time it's really

Simple on the outside hard to notice I always thought it's very expensive boring salad place omg the Katsu bowl. Streak.. desserts kids meal are to die for! Great service very healthy food the salt and pepper plate and brown rice w romaines are my fave. Honey.. let me tell you food is fresh and clean like 5star hotel vibes. Great staff

Steak dinner with mashed and garden vegetables are my favorites to order here. Salmon is also very good. Tastes like a cool homemade dinner without having to cook!

Tender Greens has great healthy meal options! I like the plates where you can pick your protein and two sides, and they offer a lot of different options. The fish tends to be on the smaller side for the price but great quality. The tomato soup is also very tasty and comforting, and they have lots of juices and desserts as well

The service was good and the food was good. I got a salad with salmon. The salmon was very tasty !! I would go back for sure.

Very busy during the lunch hour. Ordering was a bit chaotic & slow. I would probably order ahead of time or just make sure you have enough time in your lunch break for the wait. Nice outdoor patio seating. Food was great. I ordered the Mediterranean salad and the steak was cook well & seasoned well. We'll worth the price IMO since I couldn't even finish the huge portion size.

I had a party to watch the Oscars and ordered online in advance for 8 people, the family size dinners. It was absolutely fantastic! From ease of ordering, to communication by text on the day of the party, and then letting me know any updates about the delivery and if there were any changes, the driver stayed in touch with me. They came on time and the food was hot & delicious & we even had leftovers! Steak, Salmon, salad, roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables A great, delicious experience!

Just ordered again. SALAD portions are significantly $maller now too! Such a shame. Not worth the price. Also they keep sending 'we miss you, here's $2 off' emails. --- That is how often I ordered. Still not worth it. SMH
