It may not be the best pizza in Boston, but it was still delicious! I ordered a slice of cheese, pepperoni, and meatball. The meatball was my favorite—very flavorful and the combinations worked really well together (and normally I don't love meatball pizza). It is a really good deep dish pizza that is cheesy with a slight crunch on the bottom. Definitely recommend if you want pizza and you're in the area! However, still hard to compete with Pizzeria Regina.

Love the options at HSP but Tenderoni’s leaves much to be desired. The pizza is good but the employees are not friendly at all. I recently preordered the Veggie Val sandwich for pick up. When I opened it, it had no crispy artichokes on it. You’d think they would have told me or something. Maybe give me the option to order something else. Email, call, whatever. Instead they sent me on my way with one of the main ingredients missing from my $13 sub. Cool There is also no way to contact them aside from a phone number which is fruitless.

This is a tough review to write because I realize this is still a new business and yes it was their first weekend. I will adjust my review next time if improved. However, the inefficiencies of this pick up counter are glaring. Instead of selling the visible pizzas directly to the customer at the register, there was a giant backlog of orders. it didn't make sense to stick to the ticket system and have people wait only to get cold pizza. And the people who put orders in and left didn't come back so there were several orders just sitting there. In the end, we waited 30 min to get a slice that had been sitting in the window the whole time, but they had originally told us was already sold. I'm no expert but I think there's probably a better way to do this. The pizza itself was decent, really bready and oily which I think is the point but ends up feeling a bit heavy. The slices are enormous and filling, prob could get away with half a slice. The sauce was really good but unfortunately the cheese slice barely had any. I loved the burnt edge caramelized cheese. If I was passing this place and they sold me a pizza out of the window right away, I'd be happy to have it again, but I wouldn't wait again for a cold slice.

I was in town for work and I tried this place because the pizza looked good. Unfortunately looks can be deceiving. The service was very mediocre with a lack of service and the pizza was tough and chewy, didn't have much flavor besides oiliness... had the "Sausage & Pepps" and after one bite I was done and also had the "Cheese Please" and after a few bites I had abandoned it also... Save yourself the disappointment and try a different place.

The pizza here was solid, and it's more on the breedy side. I got the mushroom & cheese pizza. The customer service was good, and the cashier was welcoming. If you're just around the high street area, it would be a place to stop by.. I wouldn't suggest coming here if you're driving about. Also, the facility is very clean as well.

Ordered from Tenderoni's for a small company lunch. Ordered for 11:30 pick up, didn't leave high street place until 11:50. It felt like they hadn't even started our order. Staff gave a good review of the pizza but the lagging of the staff impacted our meeting times. Overall liked the food but wanted to share a way to improve.

Amazing Detroit style pizza. The atmosphere is so fun. Service is fast and efficient. We will definitely be back!

Google
I'd heard good things about this place and finally visited in May 2023 and was so disappointed. Pizza was barely warm and very expensive. 4 slices cost almost $40 with tip. I'm a big fan of Detroit style and even make it at home. These slices were tough to chew and the flavor wasn't anything special. I guess they warmed them up, but they were still cold in the middle. The sauce is spicy, which is fine, but even the cheese slice was way too spicy for my child. The place was full of people, and that's what I love about food halls, but the music was also extremely loud. Honestly a slice of pizza from Costco is better, and there are plenty of better Detroit style places in the Boston area. And of course, the old standby Pinnochio's, which is a different style, but we almost considered stopping there on the way home just so we weren't so disappointed. We won't be going back.

Yelp
Came here for a quick eat after drinks. I got the cheese pizza and it did the job. It was crispy and the mariana sauce was very flavoring with the cheese. It was in the food court and the service was quick

Yelp
Tenderoni's at HSP at 100 High Street Boston, MA is awful. Pizza is amazing and the staff is so mean and slow and angry and won't follow simple requests that are easier for them. All I want are 2 slices of a pizza, on a plate - 1 plate only, no bag and no tray and don't reheat no matter how cold it is. Just put two slices on the one plate and hand it to me. They won't do that, and they move very slow, never smile, never say hi, and do everything you ask them not to, reheat it and set up elaborate tray with napkins and wax paper or whatever it is or over package it and staple the bag to go. I could order and pay 3-5 times at the pizza kiosk in South Station. Great pizza, miserable experience. They are always mean and angry to every customer. Service sucks.

Yelp
Tenderoni's is a square pizza place in High Street Place. It is the only pizza place in HSP and although they offer unique and flavorful options, the price is arguably too high. It's $7 for a single cheese slice and $8 for a specialty slice. Given all the great options at HSP, this doesn't seem as worth it. In terms of taste, the most unique part has to be the crust. It is extremely flavorful and crunchy (this is a matter of personal preference so depends on what you prefer), while the rest of the slice is pretty average. Trying it once was enough for me, but if you're looking for a pizza spot at HSP, give it a shot!

Yelp
I tried this pizza place in the High Street Place Food Hall several weeks ago. I got a square slice of the mushroom pizza. They had to reheat the slice so it took a few minutes to get my order. The slice was very thick and oily. Having one slice already made me full. It tasted good but I thought the crust was not airy enough. For $8, I think it's a bit expensive.

Yelp
A very good new spot for pizza, especially in Boston. They serve the super crispy cheesy square style along with salads and "grindahs". It's located right at the front of the new High Street Place food hall. I ordered the Tenderoni slice of course (Pepperoni), which was excellent, as well as the Chickie Parm Grindah ($15), also a very satisfying sandwich.

Yelp
I was truly excited to find a place with deep dish pizza in Boston (a rare find); but I'm not sure how I feel about the pizza. I tried a slice of pepperoni pizza- which they reheat in the oven for you. I felt the crust was dried out and SO crispy it was almost burnt. I liked the fluffy dough of the pizza, and the crispy pepperonis. I do feel like if I came in the afternoon when the pizza is first made, I may have liked the pizza more (I felt mine had just been "sitting around" all day since I ate it after 8 pm). I would return to give it a second shot (hey, deep dish pizza is limited in Boston). Definitely needs to taste fresher to be worth the price ($8) though.

Yelp
Flavors - 3.5/5 Textures - 4/5 Presentation - 3/5 Value for Money - 2/5 Would return? Yes Must-try: Pepperoni Crunchy! That's what I love the most about this pizza, both the crust and the cheese exterior make it incredibly crunchy. The flavor is also pretty decent, depending on the one you get - the pepperoni slice was excellent, but the mushroom pesto was pretty bland. I think they could get away with a bit more cheese because the dough is so thick. What brings the rating down is the price - $8 for 1 slice is way too much. Also, the fact they reheat it takes away from the pizza a bit. My slices were a little cold and the cheese wasn't completely melted.

Yelp
I want to preface this by saying that I enjoy the theme of Tenderoni's and think they are really onto something. My waitress was very friendly, and usually, these two things would at least get them 2 stars. The problem? The pizza was inedible. I am not a picky eater, and I usually finish things even when I don't like them, but I couldn't even finish one slice of pizza from Tenderoni's. I got the Marsala and the Tenderoni pizza, and I ate less than one slice total between the both of them. My girlfriend was able to finish one slice of the tenderoni but had only one bite of the marsala. As I said, completely inedible. Now, I also think they dropped the ball on how they handled this. They took off one pie (the Marsala) and left the tenderoni. I essentially paid $15 for one and a half slices of pizza. They should have taken at least half off the other pizza. If you make something so horrible that I can't finish a slice and I will have to eat somewhere else, don't punish me for your horrible sauce recipe. I want to be very clear. The sauces were the worst I have ever had in my life. If that were fixed (or just made edible), it would probably be pretty good!

Yelp
I kicked off my Friday by going to Tenderoni's at High Street Place for pizza. The pizzas are a cross between Detroit and Sicilian-style pizza. They are thick, square, cheezy, and crispy on the sides because of the extra cheese baked around the square of the pizza. The cheezy border is the one characteristic of the pizza I appreciated the most because I love eating the corners of brownies and lasagna. I'm not a fan of thick and bready pizza; I'm an NYC-style pizza gal. However, the pizza toppings are delightful, which makes for a tasty pizza. If I get a chance, I will try all the different toppings of pizza that are available. The pepperoni and mushroom were the ones I had, and they were good. These pizza slices are very filling; one of these squares can hit the spot. I had their Whoa Caesar salad, which was dry and needed more dressing. The My Pal Sal Grindah is the food item at Tendoroni's I truly liked eating. This Italian sub hits it for me. If I had to get a repeat item, it surely would be My Pal Sal.

Yelp
The good news is the pizza looks delicious, the crust is crispy, plenty of cheese and toppings. The bad news is that the pizza is missing something, the sauce doesn't seem to have much taste or there is not enough on the slice. At $8 per slice plus tax and tip I really expected more. I've given it a couple of chances and would likely choose Pizzeria Regina in South Station over this in the future.

Daniel C.

Yelp
I ordered the cheese pesto mushroom pizza, and although the price is steep ($8 + w tip) it was pure flavor--garlicky pesto, sharp cheeses, fresh mushroom. Very thick sourdough crust, it was like the very best "French Bread pizza" you could imagine making. And high st place was at capacity.

Allie S.

Yelp
Tenderoni's is a pizza spot at High Street Place which now has a standalone location in Fenway. I ordered a single cheese slice for a quick lunch at the food court. The store had just opened so all the pizzas were fresh and hot. While I do love the crunchy and crispy texture, I have to agree with others that overall the pizza is a bit bland. Service was fast and the staff was super friendly. I would say that the plain cheese is not good enough and a specialty pizza may be needed for a more flavorful pizza.

J. B.

Yelp
I dont even typically like this style of pizza, but I have to say this place might have convinced me otherwise. I ordered the mushroom and added on some pickled peppers, which was downright phenomenal. I am a sucker for taleggio on a pizza, and my addition of the peppers cut through the fat from the cheese and the earthiness of the shrooms. I, alongside my fellow Yelpers, believe $30 is just too much for a pizza, inflation and all.

Mark K.

Yelp
Loads of hype due to the "famous"chef attached and the supposed "throwback" vibe. First of all, $8 for a slice of what's essentially a Sicilian pizza is ridiculous. You can find pizza like this anywhere in Boston, especially in the North End. This pizza would be ashamed to appear next to a slice from Ernesto's. The crust was fine, the toppings were thin, but what there was, was tasty. My slice of meatball had one small meatball, sliced in half, on top of it. If you want to feel like you are being taken advantage of in some way, but you can't quite put your finger on it, try this place.

Tess S.

Yelp
We had an amazing experience served by MJ! We had delicious food, drink, and ambiance and loved the vibe! We had yummy mozz cakes, refreshing lemonades, and a delicious furry monster Sundae. Can't wait to come back and be served by our favorite gal - MJ :)

C S.

Yelp
Pizza is decent. $8 for a single slice is absurd (even for Boston). Very thick deep dish style. Have only tried the pepperoni. Not sure I'd necessarily run back here other than for convenience. Location is great if you work in the financial district.

Rory O.

Yelp
Fantastic pizza in an 80s themed space in the new High Street Place food hall. Nice thick slices reminiscent of Detroit Style, with an airy crust and that perfect crispy cupped pepperoni. The quality of the pizza is 4-5 stars, but overall score is 3 stars because $8 dollars a slice is just far too expensive.

Anna P.

Yelp
Good when fresh - like for corporate events - but when I order one slice it's been stale.

Samyr L.

Yelp
Definitely the best slice in the financial district with reasonable pricing. And it comes fresh out of the oven.
