Tenkatori Review - Sawtelle - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Tenkatori is a Japanese fried chicken chain that’s perfect for a quick hearty lunch. Located on the second floor of a U-shaped shopping center, Tenkatori’s Sawtelle location offers a smaller menu than other locations—there’s just crispy, juicy, fresh-from-the-fryer karaage dunked into your choice of sauce. The four-piece bento box is our go-to order and comes with four pieces of boneless chicken, rice, pickled radish, and sides like potato salad and spaghetti that are filling but fairly forgettable. Get the lemony yuzu aioli for dipping, and you have a solid fried chicken meal for under $16." - Sylvio Martins

Google
Their karaage is the best hands down. I've had karate all across japan and this is the closest in quality and flavor to those. Pricing is good too.

Google
Hands down, the best Japanese fried chicken I have ever had. Especially love the Yagen Nankotsu (cartilage), crispy and crunchy, great spice flavor, not overpowering. I also ordered the boneless thigh and popcorn chicken, both tasted very delicious, the popcorn was little of the peppery side for young kids.

Located in the food court in Gardena Tokyo Central, been getting an order of the Boneless Chicken Thigh Karaage here on the way out after shopping. **Food is made to order so there is a bit of a wait but when you get it its piping hot and crispy and worth it🤙5 stars

Google
I came in with high expectations for the chicken based on what I've heard from reviews, and I was still surprised by how good the karaage was. I got the smallest size to try, and each piece of chicken is massive (I think I even got an extra piece). It's made fresh when you order and extremely hot and crispy. It's not overly greasy at all, but very juicy and flavorful, even if you don't get any sauces. I ordered the 5 piece thigh and the total came out to be a little over $8. *full portion not pictured, I ate 2 pieces before taking a picture

Google
The shouyu ramen was recommended by the cashier and spicy miso with the side of chili paste to give it a spicier flavor was nice. The broth was excellent on both they gave me chop sticks spoon and forks along with for my baby daughter. If my baby daughter enjoys slurping the broth it says how delicious the broth and ramen was made with alot of love.

Tenkatori is a fast food chain from Japan specializing in Japanese style fried chicken called “karaage” (marinated in Japsnese spices and dredged in flour and deep fried). This branch is located in the food court of Marukai forum supermarket in Gardena. We ordered the Karaage set consisting of 5 pieces of chicken, miso soup, potato salad and rice. We go there at 3pm and they didn’t have any steamed rice ready so they offered either an extra piece of chicken, extra salad or extra potato salad so we opted for extra chicken ( 6 pieces in the picture). We also ordered chicken cartilage made “karaage style.” Everything is cooked to order so it’s a little bit of a wait, but worthwhile. The taste of the chicken is delicious and it’s juicy — they fry raw chicken so it’s juicy unlike other places, which pre-fry and reheat/refry. They were already sold out of teba/chicken wings at 3p on a weekday, which was a bit of a surprise and disappointment so overall I’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back, the chicken is very good and I prefer this place over the other choices in the food court at Marukai market. FYI: If you don’t want to buy bottled water, you can also get their self serve complimentary filtered water from a dispenser — be sure to ask for a paper cup.

Google
This place is amazing with one of the best Karaage chicken around. Kiddo had the karaage rice bowl, wifey & I shared a bowl of tonkatsu ramen with the thicker noodles, and a side order of karaage chicken with sriacha mayo. Our order took a very long time and they made our visit worth everything and gave us their potato salad which ended up being a delish surprise for taking a long time. With that being said they have extremely good service.

Google
Got the A combo. With Shoyu ramen fried chicken and chicken fried rice. I fell in love with this place. And have been back several times since my initial visit. The ramen in the best I have ever had. The fried chicken is the most juiciest ever. My picky 10 year old even loved it. Every time I leave here I leave in a food coma. Completely full and beyond satisfied. The worker’s are always so friendly and polite. It’s a must try.

Yelp
Another one of my personal favorite is the way Japan cook and prepare their chicken, the famous KARAGE! Although KFC is a popular favorite in Japan during the holidays, the Japanese have their own style of frying chicken, they call this style, "Karage." While studying health and sciences in Japan, assigned to Hokkaido, I always enjoyed dinners with their Karage Chicken. It's not too salty like other chicken cooked street foods or chain restaurants in the U.S. like KFC, Popeyes, Chick Filet etc.. I like the consistency and Japanese culinary flour and condiments that wrap the chicken, it does considerably change the aroma taste of the meat. They also come with a special sauce that seems to embrace the Japanese culinary masterpiece, it makes you feel like, you want more, once you hit your first bite. You don't much Karage, so if you want to taste the Japanese style of friend chicken, to to Tokyo Central and grab a Karage!

Yelp
One of my favorite places, when I have a craving for Karaagi or fried chicken in general this place definitely hits the spot. My go to is just the regular Karaagi chicken, they always make it fresh and it's steaming hot (careful not to burn yourself) nice crunch on the crust, the dark meat is nice and seasoned, so tender juicy and delicious, definitely a comfort food and it hits the spot. Usually get the 12 piece, more than enough to feed two people. Unfortunately that pretty much the only thing I've tried here, don't need anything else when when I've already found the crown jewel here It's located in a little food court in Tokyo central, So the service and ambiance is what it is, standard food court fair but seating is extremely limited. Parking look gets a little nuts sometimes too.

Yelp
Tenkatori is a standout spot for Japanese fried chicken, conveniently located in the food court at Tokyo Central grocery market. Parking is plentiful, and it's easy to find--just head right after entering the store. I recommend getting the boneless chicken thigh. The 8-piece portion, priced at $11.50, is a fantastic deal considering the quality and size. Each piece is super crispy, tender, and packed with flavor. The portions are generous, and I didn't even feel the need for additional sauces (which are available for an extra cost). For a complete meal, I paired the karaage with onigiris from Tokyo Central. The food court also provides a water dispenser and microwave for customer convenience. Tenkatori offers some of the best karaage I've ever had--perfectly cooked and satisfying. If you're a fan of Japanese fried chicken, this is a must-try!

Yelp
This is located in the food court in Tokyo Central. Dining gets packed after noon, so if you don't want to be scavenging for seating come a but earlier on weekend. Ramen was delicious! I wanna come back to try all the flavors. The fried chicken was AMAZING I only got 2 pieces from the combo. Next time imma buy a whole box. Tables are clean, it's pretty crowded on weekend. Will definitely come back !

Yelp
As if I didn't leave Japan. Best fried chicken (karaage)!! It's crunchy, tender, juicy and full of flavor. I usually take it to go because we love eating it with a lot of rice. Hehe! Their sauce is like crack! It brings another level of goodness. You will drool when you smell it fresh out of the fryer. 12 minutes to be exact. This branch has ramen and I will need to try it next time. It's located inside the food court. Parking is a bit tough but if you get lucky then good for you.

Yelp
Food is great! Chicken is tender, juicy, and crispy! So happy that it is gluten free!

Yelp
My go to chicken karaage spot! It is so crispy, moist, and fresh. I love the yuzu aioli sauce to pair with it, it's honestly one of my favorite sauces all time. The price is great for the amount you get. I like to come here and grab a party pack for a group of friends to take out. I normally don't just crave chicken karaage as it's usually a side for me but this place is so good I can eat it for my entire meal.

Yelp
Tenkatori is a karaage store inside the food court of Tokyo Central and has limited store hours so make sure you check before heading there. We got the chicken to go and it was pretty good. We got the karaage bento and the 5-piece boneless chicken thigh. The bento comes with 4 pieces and they are generously sized. The sides of the bento are pretty meh but you aren't there for sides; you're there for fried chicken. The chicken is juicy and the batter is crispy yet light. It's the closest to karaage in Japan that you'll find here. See pics. The upside to being located inside a grocery store is that you can do your grocery shopping after eating so it's like getting your errands done at the same time.

Yelp
I cannot stop recommending this quick service restaurant for the best bang for your buck for lunch! If you are in the South Bay Area, this is your one stop shop for amazing Japanese fried chicken; karaage. My go to is the boneless bento box. It comes with 4 giant, juicy and flavorful pieces of chicken karaage, rice, salad, and pickled veggies of the day. If you're lucky, you'll get their famous potato salad. I can never finish the bento in one sitting. I always have it again for dinner and I'll just air fry the karaage. I really like their dipping sauces too! Spicy mayo and yuzu aioli. Tip: call in your order because they fry to order. Parking: it's located inside Tokyo Central Market so plenty Ambiance: loud, it is in a market food court Service: quick and friendly but you'll wait a bit for fresh food

Yelp
The Combo A is a great deal! I got the spicy miso ramen, karrage, and the cha-shu bowl. It's around $20 but definitely can feed 2 people. The ramen took about 20 min to make. The noodles were pretty good. The soup has a nice kick to it. The karrage was hot and crispy. The cha-shu bowl was bigger than I expected and the sauce was delicious. It's located in food court of Tokyo Central and it gets pretty busy.

Yelp
Gluten Free!!! delicious and crispy. Have not have a gluten reaction to the chicken and I have eaten here many times. Highly recommend to my GF people.

Yelp
I'd been craving Karaage for a while and Tenkatori absolutely fulfilled that craving. I went with the original 8-piece chicken boneless thigh, which was well portioned for the price. The chicken was juicy and the batter was perfectly crisp. Both the sweet & spicy and yuzu aioli sauces were great as well. The sweet and spicy sauce felt subtle and light compared to the yuzu aioli, which was flavorfully tangy and creamy (and my favorite). I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Our absolute favorite fried chicken place! We make up excuses to be in the area so we can get chicken there. The batter is light and crunchy and they separate a bit of the skin from the meat so it gets extra crispy and the flavor is spot on.
google avatar

Truman W.

Yelp
chicken karaage still 5 stars, however their fried rice is soft and not good (Shin-sen-gumi Gardena has the best fried rice!) 5-pcs karaage + mini fried rice = $17 is much better deal than $15 fried rice 2-pcs karaage combo.

Yelp
Some of my fav Karaage(japanese fried chicken) fast food. They are located inside market in the food court. I believe they also carry ramen, used to be seasonal not sure bout now. Chicken is always juicy and fried fresh per order. Service can be slow, its a small stand with usually 2-3 workers. Inside food court so can be little noisy.
google avatar

Yelp
Their fried chicken was SUPER DELICIOUS! We did arrive and order towards the last minutes of them closing.. Thank you guys so much for taking our late order! Much appreciated. We will be back again for sure!!!

Yelp
Tenkatori is by far my favorite place to get karaage. No other establishment has replaced it and I'm convinced it'll never be replaced in my heart. I've been to the Costa Mesa location several times and decided to check out their Gardena location to see if it was just as good. || L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G || -Located inside the food court of Tokyo Central. It's probably one of the first two food places you'll see once you enter Tokyo Central -Cross Streets of Tokyo Central are S Western Ave. and Artesia Blvd. -Good amount of parking in the shopping center. It may be a struggle to get a close spot, but if you're willing to get the extra steps, parking won't be an issue. || F O O D || Chicken Boneless Thigh - You honestly cannot go wrong with just ordering their chicken boneless thigh. You can order it by 5pcs, 8pcs or 12pcs. Each piece is reasonably sized, seasoned and extremely juicy. It's simply fried to perfection. It's one of those rare cases when even the food is cold, it still tastes good. Maybe it's the batter they use but it makes their chicken so addicting! I'm looking forward to trying the chicken cartilage the next time, but honestly, it is so hard to gravitate away from the chicken boneless thigh once you try it.

Yelp
I don't have anything positive to say about my experience unfortunately. I got spicy miso ramen, but the "spicy" just seemed to come from adding a bunch of basic red chili flakes. It's the kind of spiciness that is unsatisfying but will wreak havoc on the digestive system. The noodle portion size was very small. If you're looking for ramen, there are plenty of better options around this area. All in all, I paid $18 for mediocre ramen at a food court and left disappointed.

Yelp
Haiku: Tenkatori Karaage What is karaage? Crispy and juicy chicken Finger lickin' good. --- Located in Tokyo Central supermarket, this is the only karaage place you need to know. Trust me. Tenaktori's karaage is insanely crispy on the outside and juicy and flavorful on the inside. I've come multiple times and this place is solid and consistent in taste and quality. I always order their 1KG (2.2 lbs) Chicken Boneless Thighs ($23) and am always satisfied. Ordering 1KG is enough to be shared with friends or save for another meal. Pro-Tip: They freeze well and come out perfect when heated in the air fryer. Coming on the weekends, the lines and wait can be long. I'd recommend ordering first and then doing some grocery shopping. Usually, our order is ready to pick up by then.

Yelp
During my visit with my mother to Tokyo Central she was hungry. She chose Tenkatori Karaage for lunch. There isn't too much variety from the menu. You can get karaage, chicken wings, ramen or rice bowl. None of these items are within my current dietary restrictions but I said what the heck and get something that could be suitable. My mother ordered the shoyu ramen while I got the pork belly bowl. The ramen seems like it could use a little more love in it but it did the trick for my mother. It was a quick ramen fix, nothing fancy. My pork belly bowl was delicious. They did drench it in sauce which I didn't care too much about. Next time I'll ask for sauce on the side. Better yet, next time I'll just order karaage since its in their name and probably what I should have gotten in the first place. lol Parking: medium sized private lot VERDICT: One and done

Yelp
When you get sent to @tokyo.central for errands. I really wanted to like @tenkatoriusa1962 but their Spicy Miso Ramen was uneatable. It's just pure spice, no flavor. I asked for some normal miso broth to cut the spice but they wanted to charge me, so I was left adding hot water which didn't help. The karate chicken was delicious. The service seems overwhelmed and the cashier wasn't particularly helpful.
google avatar

Yelp
I usually dine at the Costa Mesa location and have always enjoyed my meals, so I decided to try the Gardena location this time. I ordered the Nankotsu bento, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. Most of the pieces were not edible; the cartilage tasted more like chicken knee or thigh joints, rather than the soft cartilage I'm used to. There wasn't any meat on the cartilage, and I received eight small fried pieces that were too tough to bite into. I typically don't leave negative feedback because I really enjoy their chicken, but this time, the quality seemed different. Overall, the chicken is still great, but I would recommend being cautious when ordering the Nankotsu.

Yelp
Located inside the Tokyo Central Japanese market food court, Tenkatori is one of the food stalls available. Friendly lady taking our order so already a plus. Rating just the food was a 5 star rating to me. Made to order, we got the family pack which came with 10 pieces of boneless thigh (karaage) & 10 bone-in wings. Also ordered the fried gizzards which were tasty. The karaage was so fresh we had to let it rest for awhile because it was so hot it was burning our mouths. Lightly battered and no oily taste. Recommend it very much.

Yelp
Friday brunch @11 am - boneless chicken thigh, popcorn chicken Service: Fast-food order and go, no need for specific service Ambiance: food court style Price: reasonable Food quality: you can feel the deep-fried chicken's oil was fresh, had no overnight smell and taste, the chicken was in great seasoning, not oily, very crispy, juicy, and tasteful, big thumbs up!!! Highly recommended.

Yelp
Once upon a time, this Faerie Queen stopped off to enjoy some ramen before embarking on her shopping trip to avoid food shopping while hungry. The ramen here was just ok. The broth was very greasy. The slice of meat added was simply not appetizing and was quickly discarded. While the bowl was beautiful in presentation, it was not an experience I would soon replicate. They do offer quite a few other food options, such as fried chicken that I will try the next time. The end.
google avatar

Yelp
Secret Menu: Bowl of bone broth Miso soup for $5. Folks come here for the juicy chicken karaage really. But to round out the meal, ask for a side of Miso soup to go with. And while you wait for your order, grab a big to go box of shredded cabbage salad for $1.99 from the marketplace. Salads and other items are right behind Tenkatori stand. You got your veggies and your broth and can now less guiltily & happily enjoy the fried chicken main event you came for!
google avatar

Yelp
Oh my God, look at them chicken karages. It's so juicy, big, and frigging crunchable as hell. Love this place, friend recommended to me. Now I can't go to other chicken karage restaurant without comparing to this one, they know how to fry that chicken.

Rae A.

Yelp
A friend brought the fried chicken and wasabi mayo to my house. I LOVED IT. I will definitely go back on my own
google avatar

Yelp
I've been eyeing their breaded bird for years, and I'm finally getting to try it! Was so excited for the Sunagimo (fried gizzards). It's hard to find. There were a bit soggy and chewy, but I didn't really mind. I DID mind the Sweet & Spicy Karaage, unfortunately. The sauce has soy sauce that it masks any other flavor. Tebanaka is a 20-piece box of flats. Some of these are tiny, which is obv beyond their control, but it ends up being very expensive. The Curry is a dry rub, a little too dry, and the Original is good, a little sweet with a whole lot of crunch. I liked Tenkatori in general, it was mostly good but not very memorable, especially this price point.
google avatar

Trisha D.

Yelp
Big, crispy, juicy chicken with tasty dipping sauces. In a grocery store, so you can browse while you wait for the food to get ready. Karaage Chicken Thigh: got the 12 pieces, which were more than enough for 2-3 people. Especially if you get sides to have with the chicken. I got the cabbage salad from grocery store (as someone recommended in the reviews) and also got a microwaveable jasmine rice. If you feel fancy, have it with some chopped green onions and cucumbers. I air fried the leftovers the next day, and it was still crispy and juicy. Yuzu sauce: SO delicious and UNIQUE. The yuzu really shines and definitely a must get. Sweet and spicy sauce: not at all spicy. Good sweet sauce. Ended up using more of this, but I suggest mixing this with the yuzu sauce. Each dipping sauce was $1 each, but containers are big. 2 is more than enough for the 12 pieces. Service: friendly and patient. Parking: big lot

Yelp
Tenkatori has one of the best Japanese-style fried chicken (thighs), aka karaage, in Greater LA. I haven't found another place that has better karaage than Tenkatori - please let me know if you have other suggestions. The karaage is cooked to order, so the chicken pieces are fresh, hot, and crispy. Like all fried food, I recommend eating it within 10 minutes of it coming out of the fryer for an optimal experience. This place serves ramen too; but Tenkatori isn't a place for ramen - go elsewhere for ramen. They have other deep-fried chicken meats available for order and sauces to choose from for you to dip your chicken in. The chicken thighs and the chicken cartilages (if you are into it) are the stars on the menu. And you don't need any sauce or condiments because chicken meat tastes excellent already, and you don't need anything else to taint its taste. So order the chicken thighs + rice. The chicken is coated with a layer of batter of the right flour mixture and thickness, giving the food great texture and crispiness. The meat is well seasoned. Sometimes, the meat can be a bit overseasoned (although not oversalted); but this only happens sometimes. I don't taste too much after-taste of residual fried bits from previous fryings. I can only assume that their oil gets changed frequently enough.

Yelp
I always get the karaage bento whenever i eat here and always the get the same quality every time. This is by far some of the best karaage nearby and is worth a try.

Yelp
I always come to this marketplace with my friends because the food is always so good and the items inside the marketplace are so fun and delicious as well! But me and a friend visited this ramen place and placed an order of a single ramen at 1:14pm and it had become 1:34pm so we naturally started waiting in front of the counter anticipating that our food would come out soon. Numbers were being called except for ours and it had become 1:44. We finally asked because it had been 30 minutes and the cashier says that they made a mistake and that they'll make it then. It had already been 30 minutes at this point but we really wanted to try the ramen so we asked how long it would take and he said 5 minutes. Already skeptical on how it would only take five minutes, we waited. It had become 10 more minutes. So in total we waited 40 minutes for one ramen. Horrible service as well. If you see a customer waiting in the front for 20-30 minutes, at least ask what they're waiting for! Guy showed no concern at all. And he seemed confused when we asked for a refund. Not to mention he took back a ramen that was sitting out and probably made our order with that!

Yelp
A fried chicken joint that sells Spicy Miso Ramen? Ding. Ding. Ding. This Ramen was so good and I always get it when I am feeling sick. It's good and I love it when it is piping hot and spicy. I would definitely go in the morning when they open, the food is fresh and delicious!

Michelle C.

Yelp
Where else can I get GF fried chicken? The popcorn chicken was just ok.. the breading, nothing spectacular. If I was more hungrier, I would have ordered the karaage, but I wanted something small. But the yuzu aioli was amazing!! If they sold just the sauce I'd probly buy just that. But wow. The slight tanginess of yuzu and smooth flavor of the sauce made each bite wonderful. Thanks to the sauce, 5 stars.
google avatar

Genevieve G.

Yelp
The best karaage you'll find. So perfectly crispy on the outside, yet juicy on the inside. If I lived closer I'd be here all the time.
google avatar

Annabelle H.

Yelp
Their 1kg of boneless thigh is so crunchy and good! And very worth the price for some quality karaage. Can't wait to take my friends here! Not only is it delicious but it stays crunchy for a long time - we live about a 40 minute drive away, but it was still super crunchy when we got home. I appreciate that they leave the containers open so that it doesn't sweat/condense. Only complaint is, we ordered the aioli to try with the chicken and it spilled on the drive home - I think they didn't close the lid very well. It was extra sad because we got a little taste of the lid, and it was so good!! Make sure the lids of your sauces are closed to prevent sadness when you get home. I think their chicken definitely needs the sauce though, so definitely order a sauce or two! If you have some sriracha mayo at home, I'd imagine that'd be a good pairing too. We also tried the curry wings - the flavoring was quite tasty but the wings were very small. I'd stick to the boneless thighs! It's juicy delicious dark meat!
google avatar

Cindy S.

Yelp
The Karaage here is great! Made to order (10 to 15 mins wait). Chicken pieces are pretty big. I'm not sure if they use a whole chicken thigh for one piece, seemed like it because pieces of chicken are huge. Karaage: generally boneless fried chicken (usually chicken thigh) marinated in a soy-based sauce, ginger, mirin, and battered with either potato or rice flour... am sure there was some MSG in the mix. Good stuff. It's piping hot made to order - be careful and enjoy!
google avatar

Yelp
this place ruled. had no idea what to expect quality or taste wise (since it's technically a food court?) but i was BLOWN AWAY. crispy and juicy. flavorful. i loved it. the yuzu aioli is SO GOOD. I want to drink it
google avatar

Yelp
I was craving noodles and so I thought I would try this place. I was very disappointed. The noodles were soft and they had corn in the soup that was partially cold. I thought to take it back but my husband was waiting for me so I just ate and then left. I won't come back to this place.
google avatar

Kari T.

Yelp
Love getting a huge portion of karaage and re-toasting the leftovers. You get so much chicken and the pieces are huge! There's always a line/wait so you know it's worth it.
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
At first this place looks a bit simple. I didn't expect much from it but when I tried their fried chicken rice bowl. I'm very surprised how flavorful if is. The chicken was crispy and has just enough sauce to give it some flavor without making it soggy. The rice had enough sauce to make it tasty. Honestly this is a simple dish but taste so good. I definitely will get this again when I crave fried chicken and rice. Price is very reasonable too.
google avatar

Sarah Y.

Yelp
YAY! There was a spell the flavor changed a little from what we were used to eating from Tenkatori (I think while we were waiting for them to return, the pans that were used to make the karaage after the remodel were different -maybe new pans???) We stopped ordering the Karaage. I ordered the popcorn chicken a couple of times- the size was fun to eat. But the flavor just got me craving the old karaage flavor. WELL, IT'S BACK!!! We're coming back for more!
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Delicious kaarage! The chicken was so flavorful and crispy. The breading wasn't too thick - just the perfect amount. I can't wait to go back for more.

Yelp
Just takes a bit to get the food, but that's because it's made to order. In all honesty, it's completely worth the wait. Just not a place you'd come to for a really quick bite. My go-to order is the 5-pc sweet and sour karaage with a side of rice. The chicken is very well sized and is enough to keep me full for a large portion of the day. It's also just plain delicious. The batter is always crispy and the chicken is super juicy and tender. And because it's made to order, it's always extremely fresh. This place is my go-to when I'm craving fried chicken. Could be yours, too. I'd give it a try!

Yelp
Super juicy and extremely flavorful karaage. Some of the best in the greater LA area given the price and the set that it comes with if you decide to get the bento set. Eat it inside the Tokyo Central food court so you can enjoy it while it's hot and fresh and you won't regret it.

Yelp
I love this place so much and if I ever moved some place where I couldn't get it every week I'd be pretty sad. It is absolutely my favorite place to get chicken gizzard and I don't even care who thinks that's weird. (It's not that weird right?) The store is basically a small counter in the Tokyo Central Market. The store is easy to get to and parking might look busy but it's never been a problem getting a spot. My boyfriend and I often go here for Sunday lunch and recently they've even opened the food court again for visitors to dine in. It is a breeze to order online and pick up. I'm 100% grateful they use ChowNow and I don't feel robbed by fees. Every time I just love the chicken gizzard. Something about the texture and the fried taste just hits the spot. It is so delicious if you like that type of thing. I've also tried the kaarage and popcorn chicken. The kaarage is deceptive because the pieces are so big but look doable until you're so stuffed and you realize there are still three or four pieces left. I like the popcorn chicken more. It's tastier in its bite size form and it's not as intimidating as the kaarage. I really love this restaurant and think it's pretty delicious. It's a destination restaurant for me and one that I return to frequently. It is perfection and brings so much joy to my life with every bite.
