"Discreetly tucked away in Shepherd Market, it's easy to miss the entrance to the earnestly run Maru. As with many a good sushi restaurant, the high quality of the produce helps provide plenty of flavour; the ingredients are largely British, including seafood from Cornish waters. Lovely, yummy food. Generous portions. The ramen was creamy, flavourful and filling. Quick service, not too loud. Whenever I try out a restaurant serving national food, I always try to go to one that is frequented by people from that country because they know the authenticity, Tenmaru ticks that box and the food did not disappoint. My only advice would be if you are sensitive to salt, the food is a bit on the saltier side.

Extremely solid bowl of Ramen that isn’t a chain in central London, went on a Monday night and it was fairly quiet despite how central it is. Staff were friendly and service was quick. I ordered the Tan Tan Men and it hit the spot. Will be back to try more. Solid weekday dinner if you’re around the area and looking for something delicious and quick to eat.

It looks great BUT that Ramen is the worst ramen I had in my life…There is almost no salt in the soup and what’s worst is that it’s absolutely bitter, I can even describe it(I understand lemon dishes are a bit bitter, but the salt and bitter level of this dish is ridiculous). one of the chicken slice is not cooked and is still pink. I don’t get how a Ramen can go so wrong.

The tantan men was really good and the vegan mapo tofu as well! Our waiter was very nice to us and we loved talking to him! He only arrived in London 7 months ago and is originally from Tokyo!!

I am a frequent visitor at Tenmaru. Their ramen is authentic and very rich in flavour. My favorite is the lemon paitan! Reasonable price and tidy environment are a plus🫶

By far one of the best ramen spots I have been to in London ! The food was very good and flavourful and the portion sizes were robust. Good value for money. Would recommend.

Very authentic Japanese Ramen place in Oxford Circus. Love their Tsukemen so much!! The dipping soup has a rich flavour, very yummy. Also recommend their Pork Gyoza which is a perfect match with Asahi Draft Beer The filling is very juicy. Will definitely come back when I’m craving for Ramen :)
