I love the Riverwalk. It's great for walking, biking, running, and skating. Every time I go, I discover something new. There are lots of picnic areas, fishing spots, boat launches and most importantly BATHROOMS along the route. It's very well kept. People seem to do a good job picking up after themselves, their children, and pets. The Parks Dept does a great job too!

Great way to explore Chattanooga on this 13 mile urban greenway connecting Chickamauga Dam to Ross's Landing and the St. Elmo neighborhood. The Chattanooga Bicycle Transit System has numerous stations along this corridor with bicycles, e-bikes, and e-scooters for rent.

The river park and all included areas are such a great thing for the city. This area has plenty of play space, open grass area, and fire pits with grills. Plenty of piers to fish if that is your thing, plenty of art, plenty of playground things for the kids to have fun. There is an area that can be rented if you want to reserve the park. This area specifically is next door to the marine corps reserve center where there was a significant disaster about decades ago ago. This park has erected a beautiful memorial for those that had lost their life in that specific event. Great place to visit.

Very well kept park. I am disabled but usually visit the area below Chickamauga Dam. I’m able tow walk with my Rollator easily on their paved walking trail. This is also at the dual-line railroad bridge call Tenbridge.

This portion of the river walk has many uses. We go to begin our walks and play on the playground. My daughter likes to ride her school around the loop in front of the playground. Looking around, there are many piers that people use for fishing, picnic tables, and wide open spaces for rec use or picnics. A conference center is available for rent and pavilions available for reservations. Restrooms are on site. Art is spread throughout. Space and planets is the theme on signs. Parking is free and available and easily accessible. Leashed dogs are welcome.

This is my favorite park in all of Chattanooga. It's where the locals go. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Tennessee Riverpark is a pleasant enough park that is at the dam. I found it to be a pleasant place to take a conference call while I got some walking in and enjoyed the view. If you are in the area, I would recommend checking the place out.

Yelp
What a lovely and expansive path. Running, biking, walking, picnicking, and fishing (pier or by boat)- you name it, it provides! The main path runs along the Tennessee River and beautiful grassy fields. We've enjoyed leisurely walking with our dog as well as bike riding with our bikes and our dog in her bike buggy. There were a decent number of people either riding bikes or walking, but it didn't feel too crowded and was not too difficult to navigate while bike riding. There was a large playground in the main section of the park that looked quite nice. A smaller playground, slightly separated from the larger one, which looked to be for younger children, was also provided. Pavillions for shelter and restrooms are found at the main section, too. You can find a map online at Hamilton TN dot Gov, which shows a great overview of the trail with stops and facilities. Overall, this has been a reliable trail, and we look forward to returning to its scenic views.

Yelp
This is the peaceful place to step into, out of the busyness of your day, and just be for a few minutes. Two little forests will greet you if you stroll onto the bridge or there's several sturdy bench options. Birds are chirping. Nestled behind Cherokee Boulevard, Tennessee River Park is our woods in the city. So, if you need your nature cleanse and just have the lunch hour, I recommend coming here.

Yelp
Tennessee is such a beautiful and serene place . The bike trail was so neat how it took you through the town along the river and through the woods .. like the big bad wolf story .. if you keep riding to the end , you will go through the old factory section and end up at a cute little juice place at the end of the trail . It really takes you back in time too see how many factories used to be in the US. Ther are plenty of places to stop and eat also as you go along the downtown area .

Yelp
Chattanooga is home to some beautiful parks and bikeways. Love the Riverpark. Great views of the river, nice winding path and beautiful scenery. Love the view from The Boathouse too. We are so lucky to have the Riverpark.

Yelp
Wonderful job on the city of Chattanooga planning ahead for the future. The walking trail from beneath the dam to almost Lookout Mountain is superb. There are many places throughout where you can park and walk, ride your bikes, play on playgrounds, launch your boats, cook and picnic. Nice nice nice place! Kudos Chattanooga

Yelp
On 10/23/19, the trail was closed about 6.5 miles in, near the boat house. The sign said it would be closed for 3 weeks. We have rode it twice now. The first time we got lost and into downtown. There are not any directional signs. It was still a very nice ride. This time the trip was cut short due to the closure. I'm looking forward to making another trip to Chattanooga to complete the entire trail.

Yelp
Love the place and it is really several small parks along a riverwalk. Don't park at the dam if you plan on being on the riverwalk after sunset because it closes from the dam to the next park. (I may or may not have forgotten about this a few times and ended up running back on Amnicola in the dark which is a really bad idea) I sometimes vary which park along the riverwalk I start out just to mix things up. Most running venues in Chattanooga end up at some part of this park because of its convenience and beauty. Sometimes that is a good thing to know too because if you plan on taking your kids down here to ride their bikes you want nothing to do with the section that might have part of the Ironman/Half Ironman on it. If you are a competitive biker you really shouldn't bring your bike on this trail. It isn't meant for speeds like that and you will either kill yourself or someone else trying to get around them. Most of the little parks have picnic tables and bbq grills along with open green areas for frisbee or whatever.
