Tensing Pen Resort

My family and I had an amazing stay at Tensing Pen last week. I booked the resort as part of a surprise proposal for my daughter. Thanks to Sha-Wayde and Datanya who took care of all the arrangements that made the evening a magical and memorable one. They replied to every communication promptly, and kept me up to date with all the details. Everything was perfect. Our family of 5 stayed comfortably in the Long House villa. The resort is quite and peaceful. The private dinner that followed the proposal was absolutely delicious, and our waiter made the experience more enjoyable with his attentiveness and outstanding service. Thanks to everyone at the resort that was apart of the event.

This stay was one of the best vacation experiences I’ve had. We stayed for a wedding and had an incredible time. The fresh food, perfectly prepared cocktails, and stellar organization of the wedding blew us away. After the wedding, we loved jumping in the clear, beautiful water off of the high bridge, drinking coffee and smoothies in the morning looking over the water, and sleeping in our garden bungalow hearing the water splashing outside. Everyone at the resort was so nice, accommodating, and helpful to us navigating Jamaica for the first time, which made us feel extra special. Truly an incredible experience!!

We spent our 2nd week at Tensing celebrating our 30th anniversary.|Stayed in south pillar. The room was incredible. Best view out of all the rooms on the resort in my opinion. The coldest AC unit I’ve ever had anywhere on vacation. Room was really clean and outdoor shower was a highlight. Razor was a great bartender and we had some good conversations. |Highlight of the trip was a private dinner at Hammock Hut. Bartender/server Splinta was our favorite. He was ALWAYS in a great mood and willing to help whenever needed with a smile on his face! He did an amazing job with our private dinner. Paul, the lifeguard, is also fantastic. Always smiling and interacting with guests. Great diver and snorkeling with him is a must. He knows everything about the area and surrounding ocean! Everyone was nice but these 3 really stood out to us. Thank you Tensing Pen for making our Anniversary stay a long lasting memory!!

Words can’t fully capture the magic of our historic ( 120 person) wedding at Tensing Pen. The setting itself is absolutely stunning – intimate, rustic, and full of natural beauty. But the true magic came from our wedding planner, Sha-Wayde. From our very first interaction, she brought a calm energy, the most positive vibes, and a creative spark that made planning feel effortless. Every flower, every table setting, every moment was perfect – not just visually, but emotionally. She made the entire experience feel deeply personal and stress-free. The entire Tensing Pen staff played a massive role in our wedding as well. Sha-Wayde and the entire Tensing Pen staff put their heart and soul in their work. I feel lucky to be part of their magic. If you’re dreaming of a destination wedding that feels like both a celebration and a soul-level experience, this is it.

From the warm hospitality to fine food and beverages to the comfort of their accommodations, and of course the swimming, you can not find a better place to relax and enjoy life than this resort. They handled a wedding of more that 100 guests perfectly. We will be back again and again, and you should check them out too!

Truly relaxing with a wonderful staff—Tensing Pen is the perfect escape. Don’t come with a packed agenda; just unwind. Bring a few books, sip cocktails, enjoy delicious food, and take a swim. We loved trying the restaurants across the street, especially Rick’s Cafe (the cliff divers are wild!) and even the lively bar next door—yes, even with "Happy Birthday" playing 50 times a night. Tensing Pen for the win.

Just home from the “one-love” joining of the “Bauer/Price family. Celebrating life’s best in such a spectacularly gorgeous setting with impeccably prepared food and drink was a perfect surprise. The Tensing Pen family of chefs, servers, concierge and all members treat you with kindness and love. Each meal, there were many, were fresh local and deliciously prepared. Each cottage lovingly readied for a relaxing visit to experience this caribbean treasure! Accommodation, location, swimming, diving, snorkeling, all amenities were excellent!|They mentioned this wedding (100+) was the largest they had hosted and their execution of the event was flawless!|The presentation and planning was evident and how they distributed and served the wedding was superior to nearly every wedding I had ever attended (boomer here) . |For a visit, group event, destination wedding or romantic get away, I have the highest of recommendations for Tensing Pen. |So looking forward to my next visit 🇯🇲😍❤️|#secluded#rejuvenating#peaceful
