Our family loves this place. Can't beat the 3 combo special, choose three sushi rolls includes miso soup. The staff is friendly. This recent order, they forgot one of our rolls called me back, of course, went right back since I was still around the corner and they offered complimentary drinks, I initially declined to say it was ok, they insisted. I just appreciated they called me immediately rather than drive all the way home to find out I was missing one. We will always return and support local business!

We came here a little before 8 on a Saturday night and the place was busy but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Although by that point they had run out of Udon noodles - not sure if that's a sign of very good food or poor inventorying. They did let me get an Udon option (the tempura shrimp and egg Udon) and substitute it with ramen. It was a generous helping of tempura shrimp - most places only give you 1 or 2 pieces but this came with 4 big (but not jumbo) shrimp. Still a good deal. Friends ordered the Chashu ramen and Tentenyu ramen and both came with a good helping of meat. The extra egg each of us ordered was large and plump - good pricing compared to other ramen places I've been to.

Checked this place out for the first time and boy was it great! They had a special, 50 % off for liking them on Facebook. Wow, what a deal!! I tried their signature ramen and it was really tasty. Had to take advantage of the special and ordered the wings and dumplings too. Everything was delicious. Definitely coming back!!

Started the evening off w LOGAN across the street at the Arclight Culver City, an instant classic, 5stars/2 thumbs way up.!! Followed by THE BEST RAMEN I've ever tasted at Tentenyu. The noodles, the pork, the true soft boiled egg, the bamboo chutes, all primo and best of all, the broth; simply fantastic.!! 👌 Spicy levels 🔥(1-5) off the hook.! (Added the soft boiled egg, mandatory for me.!) 😎 No alcohol service yet, but all in due time. Awesome new space w metal architecture/decor, big open windows facade, patio out front. Had the UCLA-USC Pac-12 Tourney Hoops game on(Go Bruins.!!), what more could I ask for.? Will def be recommending and will def be back soon and frequently.! Hats off.! 🎩

We were looking for a casual unpretentious dining option in Culver City and were pleasantly surprised to find Tentenyu. Menu options included sushi, ramen and udon. Service was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Maybe not the place to bring friends you are trying to impress with grandeur, but a great dining option if you are looking for a casual good valued dining experience. We had the Shishito Peppers (which were a little too spicy, every pepper), the crispy rice with spicy tuna and jalapeno (the jalapeno was milder than the Shishito peppers!), the tempura shrimp sushi and the tempura shrimp udon. All was delicious and went down nicely with warm saki and Ashi beer. 1 star deduction for tidiness, there was a lot of clutter around the restaurant.

One of the few ramen places nearby that serve ramen "tsukemen" style (noodles and ramen broth served separately). Their ramen broth is outstanding. I thought the noodle was a bit on the tougher side but my boyfriend thought it was perfect. Best time to go would be during their happy hour for the $3 Sapporo. And if you follow them on their social media pages, you get a soft-boiled egg for free upon request.

Great ramen. Savory soup and cha siu. The soft boiled egg is a must add-on. Generous portion. A bit more on the pricy side, especially with extra side dishes.

The side of Chicken Karaage ($6) was delicious. The Toripaitan Ramen ($12) not so much.
