"If you like video games, especially the nostalgic ones of your youth, you’ll probably love Tenth Level Tavern. We’re branching into Oakland Park here, but it’s close enough to Fort Lauderdale. Plus, we’re not aware of any other place where you can drink good local beer while sitting at the bar and playing dozens of N64 games you didn’t realize were burned into your subconscious. They have screens set up at the bar that have dozens of games from multiple vintage consoles. You can order a beer without having to put down your controller. It’s a great date night option, but also just a fun and unique bar option to mix things up. " - ryan pfeffer

Great atmosphere, AMAZING selection of video games and drinks, too! Just left a new monthly music bingo night...it was hilarious! The host was interactive and so friendly as well as welcoming. Apparently they do a different theme monthly. Will for SURE be back!

John Provasnik

Google
Amazing drink, huge selection of mocktales, great games on varying consoles, and even has board games. Also does events throughout the month. Very friendly staff. Such a fun place!

Amazing videogame vibes, amazing owner, amazing service!! If your in Oakland park you should definitely drop by!!

Vanessa Christoffel

Google
Always a great vibe who doesn’t love games and beer? Lots of selection and daily events is a great combo! Also has run club meet up on Thursdays at 7. Karaoke, Drum and bass and DJ events. Great vibes!! Nomi and Maria are the best!!

Victor Martins

Google
Hands down the absolute best barcade in Florida!! The beers, drinks, the people, the games, music, the trivia, and much more! If you like any that I could not me it enough!

Sandor Exposito

Google
Very cool spot to go and enjoy a drink at. They also have events with djs to enjoy dancing to some beats every now and then. Owners and staff are very welcoming. Every table has old school games on them. Highly recommended, especially to gamers.

Google
Always the best time at Tenth Level. Highly recommend checking them out. They have the best selection of craft beers and hard seltzers. They host many frequent events from gaming, trivia nights, open mic, open decks, hip hop, dnb. The staff is fun and friendly and the owners are awesome! A must go for sure !

Lauren R.

Google
This establishment provides an exceptional atmosphere and outstanding customer service, making it ideal for a date night or a gathering of friends who appreciate video games and quality music. I highly recommend it. Also to mention that the beer and mix drinks were amazing and creative. The bar was one of the cleanest that I have seen in long time 🎮🕹🍻🎵

Yelp
This is a beer, arcade & performing arts/karaoke experience type of place. It's a place for video game lovers because once you buy one drink, you get a wrist band that allows for unlimited video game play. They have cubies that sits a few friends, and you can play away while listening to some great music. Their craft beer selection is fantastic. They do not have food, but they always have amazing vendors outside of the establishment most of the time. Fun, chill place.

Kaitlin H.

Yelp
Came here for a trivia night. Even though I am not a gamer it had a nice welcoming atmosphere. The staff was helpful and super friendly. I enjoyed the cider and the fun trivia night. There is no food there, they are okay with outside food being consumed there. I just didn't want to leave to go across the way to another brewery or pay an outrageous delivery fee with a delivery service. That to me was the only down fall which isn't a big deal.

Mark P.

Yelp
This place is so f**king cool. Nearby Glitch is much more crowded and more of a club vibe almost, but this place is nice and chill. Sitting on the couches and playing games with a couple friends is a total vibe. They also have karaoke nights which is really cool as well.

John P.

Yelp
I had a lot of fun here. There's two different floors each with their own bar. Dozens upon dozens of well preserved pinball machines on the first floor and a few table top games up on the second floor. You can spend an entire day here and still not get to all the machines - worth additional visits. Front desk lady was extremely friendly and gave a run down of the place so I could quickly be acquainted with what was where.

Dante W.

Yelp
Amazing Tavern/bar, games and beer. Nothing could be better! Great selection of beers and great service by the bartenders! Vide is amazing, games and beer all around. Love the decorations and color scheme of the bar.

Daniela L.

Yelp
This little hidden gem is awesome!! I found it because I went to Funky Buddha and after a little while decided to change the vibe; and this place is right across the street!! Not only do they have a great variety of craft beer, they have almost every old school game you can think of!!! From Altered Beast (Sega) to Aladdin (Super Nintendo) -- this was my game back when I was 10/11yo!! .. Sadly, still can't beat it lol .. that's beyond the point - you must visit this spot if you wanna have some fun have some brews and taking it back with some old school ! OH and they have Karaoke Night on Thursdays!! Note: there's no food! But there was a food truck parked in front, and they've got some tables outside, so you can still enjoy a beer from inside and a nice little snack from the food truck :9

Bob B.

Yelp
I was not a gamer when I walked in to TENTH LEVEL TAVERN for the first time ... having the opportunity to spend over 2 hours playing games with my friends has change my mind.... I AM A GAMER !

Raymar M.

Yelp
Great Star Wars day event! Drinks were great and had great names. The video games were also good.

Paul L.

Yelp
Really awesome and laid back bar with every game system from the 80s until today, spent a very enjoyable evening playing Mario 3 until they were turning the lights off, staff very friendly and patient with us trying to beat the water level.

Erica C.

Yelp
Stopped into this lovely gem on a rainy night this week while getting Haitian food from Alberta across the street. We noticed food vendors setting up outside and decided to go check out the set up . We were surprised when we found ourselves in front of an arcade bar !! Took one step inside, immediately greeted by a sweet bartender named Susan . She welcomed us in and aides to service us within moments of walking through the entrance. In less than 3 minutes after our entry my wine was perfectly served in a chilled round funky Buddha wine glass . I found that kinda funny . Cups missing from the next door neighbor hehehe . Definitely a good find . 10/10 will be a returning customer . Good place. Only downfall is no liquor license and only wine & beer . The good thing for those who love beer is they have over 50+ options to choose from . Neat little spot, would definitely recommend checking out if you enjoy video games and find yourself nearby the area .

lauren l.

Yelp
The vibe here was nice! Only serves beers and strong ass wine... didn't bother me though . I would suggest finding out what games you would want to play here b/c the selection is really long! They got a switch with Mario cart in the back

Marilu F.

Yelp
This takes video gaming to a brand-new level. You have games upon games. Most are countertop, but others can be played in sofas and chairs. They also have a second room where there are computers. Usually the tournaments are held in there. As far as game variety goes, there's tons from old school games to newer ones. I personally enjoyed my time playing Pac-Man and I'm not much of a gamer period. Note, too, that while you play, you can order a drink. Plenty of beer and cider available, although I've heard they have wine as well. If that isn't enough, consider going to Funky Buddha across the street. Oh, and the best part? The games are free!

Phylicia K.

Yelp
Located across from Funky this tiny hole in the wall bar is a must visit! Love video games? Go! Both the bar and the entire back wall are lined with a variety of nostalgic video games. Play by yourself or challenge a friend! I also thought the decor was pretty cool! Lots of wall art of your favorite video game characters. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the local beers and helped us try and pick our favorites. Lite bites are also available and pair great with the drinks.

Lauren T.

Yelp
This is the weirdest bar I've ever stepped foot in. Don't miss it! From the karaoke to every video game you've ever heard of... it's a vibe.

AnnMarie N.

Yelp
Omg so we even have anything like this in NY??!! totally cool concept, love love love the video game set up at the bar I could drink and play all night - DO NOT TEMPT ME! Great selection of beers, decent crowd, just a chill spot for the video game junkie.

Criss S.

Yelp
Looking for a bar where you can play video games and drink beer? Check out Tenth Level Tavern. We went on a Saturday night, and the bar was busy. We were able to find tables and video games to play. A reminder of our childhood. Some games and TV were better than others. If you like beer , this is your type of bar. They do not have hard alcohol.

Blue A.

Yelp
I've been coming here for a while now. Through the name changes and layout revamps. I've brought almost every out of town friend here for a beer. I've ended up here after FB across the street has closed. Just one more drink. Most recently I attended a great fundraiser here. Always a great time. They have an amazing beer selection with various things on draft and a nice selection of bottles and cans as well. I had one of the best IPAs I've ever had here. I forget the name (this was one of the times I ended up here after FB haha) but after he told me it tasted like juice, I was sold. WOW. It was a juicy IPA, with just the right amount of bitterness for my palette. I've had delicious stouts and mellow hefes. They feature some great breweries on tap, from near and far. Whenever I'm here N64 is my jam. Many times I've whooped some ass on Wrestlemania 2000 (that cage match though) and Goldeneye. I'll never forget when my buddy Andy beat me in WrestleMania with D'lo Brown. FREAKING D'LO. He's like the worst player in the game. I hear about this victory to this day. But I also remember destroying my friend Matt in Goldeneye. Granted he was born in the 90s and didn't even know how to hold the controller. N64 to him must be what Atari is to me. On top of N64 they have a ton of game counsels from Sega Genesis to the original Nintendo. Various arcade like games along the wall as well - but I've actually never played those...so no idea what games are on there. There's no food unfortunatly, but a great place to grab a beer - and relive the glory years. Be warned, the graphics haven't withstood the test of time. Playing Mario Kart on Super Nintendo will make your eyes sore....but it's so much fun.

Joyleen P.

Yelp
So much fun. Nice n dark. Perfect place to determine whether your date is a loser or not.

Yelp
Tenth Level, formerly Another Castle is a place where you can let out your inner child, nerd, or whatever else you feel like letting out (legally) and just have a great time. Nothing makes me happier than playing some old school video games, and this place has pretty much every game system and game you can ask for. It's a cool set up with a mix of old televisions (box shape tv's, remember those?), and emulators at the bar and along the wall with everything from Tecmo Bowl to Street Fighter and everything in between. The vibe is very laid back and fun. It's a great place for a stranger to become a friend. Or a friend to become an enemy when you constantly beat them at Mario Kart or throw them out of the ring during a heated game of WWE's Royal Rumble. I won't name any names, but he knows who I'm talking about. There are NES games, Super NES, Sega games, and more. Again, name it and it's there. Tons of cool artwork adorn the ways. They've got some good beer options as far as sodas for those non drinkers- everyone gets parched at some point when you're yelling at the TV. One thing I never thought about was how germy it was. It's not like you wash your hand after every game. So not only are you sharing memories, you're sharing germs too. Can't beat that, right? I honestly love it here. When you're at Tenth Level the time flies by. Hours feel like minutes. And every life you lose on a game is your first because the games are free. You can't beat it.

Gigi G.

Yelp
I am kicking myself for having taken so long to check this place out when it SO my style. The beer was cold, great items on tap and I am glad they had a bunch of cider options for my wheat allergic friend. There is also karaoke night, great themed wall art everywhere, and the booths are perfect for COVID time. I thought the best thing about this place would be the endless number of games available for play but I was so very wrong. This place is phenomenal because of the staff!! Loved the video games, they have absolutely everything and it is such a great time but it was made all that much better by the service. The bar staff is so friendly, lovely, and has great beer recommendations - plus the happy hour prices rock and i appreciate they did HH last call. Shout out to the staff for listening to my drunk karaoke the other night - you guys are the real MVPs.

Yelp
You know, I am always complaining about wanting to figure out something to do on the rare occasion that my husband and I can get out on a weekend night. Tenth Level Tavern is the perfect chill but fun date night spot! As a matter of fact, I would go so far as to say that Tenth Level Tavern is also the PERFECT place to go ALONE if you just feel like you need to have a drink, but don't want to sit there just glued to your phone. I'm going to keep it real- I am not any sort of video game nerd. However, this bar offers a plethora of games that can suit any individuals gaming needs! Want to fight? Come here! Want to play Mario Kart? They've got your back! Looking to do it up arcade style? You are in luck! I can even go so far as to say that I have not even thought about playing video games since I was in middle school, but coming to this joint has actually made me want to play more! As far as the beer offerings go, they're totally on point. They offer an excellent selection of craft beers on draft. If there's nothing on draft to suit your fancy, they will most likely offer it canned or in a bottle. You are paying slightly more than the prices at Funky Buddha, but IMO for all the entertainment that goes along with your libation it is TOTALLY WORTH IT! :) Looking forward to coming back soooooooooon.

Alexandra M.

Yelp
This gaming heaven has the perfect package....beer, wine, come-as-you-are vibe and quick service! One of my best friends and I enjoyed a Saturday night here where we were able to find 2 seats in front of a gaming console with ease. I will admit when I first walked in I was discouraged at how narrow the aisle was in between the bar and the high chairs in front of the monitors. But I did not become bothered by people squeezing thru. I was pleasantly surprised at not only the quantity of games and screens (which looked like it had just 2 controllers for each) but the bar also was lined up with the same layout, don't think I have ever seen that before! Hey bartender, can I have another pinot grigio as I casually cross the finish line? I was impressed with the service. Our bartender was super friendly and quick to accommodate to us, I rarely ever had to wait to get her attention when the place was packed! The prices as well are fair in which I spent $19 for 3 generous-pour glasses of pinot grigio, which I appreciated the bottle being opened just for me. Add free parking and being across from Funky Buddha and you've got your next fav watering hole!

Kim V.

Yelp
Wow what a unique bar. It has games throughout the establishment and the games are pretty retro and nostalgic. From arcade to console games from the 1990s, I was reliving my childhood all over again. It is across the street from the Funky Buddha brewery. Once we walked in, we saw a few televisions in the front with benches. There were groups of people playing the games. They offer a wide array of beers. My favorite was the fat head brumbleberry beer; It's a fruity beer. We played a few games, my favorite was the Mario kart game. We were probably there for an hour and a half playing and drinking beer. Everybody in my party loved the place. It's not your average bar and I plan to visit here often. If you love gaming and drinking, then this is the place to be.

Francisco V.

Yelp
Want a place to chill out and play some games? Retro arcade? Fighting games? Smash Brothers? Great! Want to do all that while having a beer? Even better! TLT has a wide variety of craft beers to choose from, and a nice assortment of wines to boot. Sorry guys, no hard liquor here. On some nights, you will have live bands, as well as some karaoke. On Saturdays, on the other hand, TLT has people coming in to play the games on a more serious level, so if you want to see if you're a good Tekken or Street Fighter player, why don't you show up for one of their tournaments? Good news 1 it's free! All of the bartenders are friendly, and the place has a unique vibe to it. Asides from that, you're right across from Funky Buddha if you want to slip right back into a different vibe.

Liane W.

Yelp
Yelp says 5 stars is "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" - and truthfully, this is a concept done fantastically! Booze and binging on games from my childhood? I'm sorry, did you say I could pwn Donkey Kong Country all over again, be savage(ly awful) at Mario Kart and relive my childhood (humiliation LOL)?! Yeah? OKAY! Sign me up. (Note: I'm pretty bad at games, but I love the nostalgia and the fun, and okay, I'm not completely horrible at eeevery game.) At the bar, their gaming consoles are basically all loaded into each computer (or they route to the same console? Idk!), you select what "console" you want (i.e., Sega, Nintendo, Super Nintedo, Nintendo 64, etc.) and then you get a list of alphabetically ordered games. HAVE FUN. My date and I had a blast! Ordered a round of drinks, sat our butts down and commenced Childhood Mmrs. (That's Fall Out Boy for memories for you heathens who don't know!) Asked the bartender for something sweet, and he recommended either Apple Pie Cider, which DID taste like apple pie ahmigerds, or a Berries Cider. The berries were way sweet! Loved it. :) If you're a girly drinker like me, go with the berries! Annnd... I totally had a snapchat photo, but I forgot to save it. :( I'm sure once KC gets around to reviewing, she'll post it! My date picked up a boozy root beer that was awesome, also. Drinks were fab, games were evocative, and if you miss the games from your childhood, def check out Another Castle! They also exhibit dope artwork. Thnks fr th mmrs!

Wen-Ju C.

Yelp
Formerly known as Another Castle, the arcade bar has a new name now called Tenth Level Tavern. When you enter the front door, there is a video game bench area on the left side by the front windows. The bar has video games as well. Several arcade games are also attached to the walls. The bar provides many alcohol and non-alcohol options. You can sip on drinks while playing video games. The walls are ornamented with artwork by local artists. They are all for sale, which is awesome, because the owners support artists. There's no food available, but Tenth Level Tavern is always a great place to stop by for drinks and video games. They have old school and new games available too, which is amazing. I thought the old games were extinct, but they have them! The bartenders are pretty nice. If they are not busy, they usually chat with you and get what you want right away. When it's packed and busy, the bartenders always let you know they will be right with you and come back to help you. The alcohol beverages range from $4 and up. There's specials on some days too like happy hour, karaoke, open mic, etc. I've been here a few times and always loved the ambience, atmosphere, people, and drinks. I love playing Pac Man and Tetris Attack, and trying new games. There's no time limit and you can play for as long as you want. No extra charge unlike some places that require you to put coins or tokens. There's two unisex bathrooms. One door is painted like Tardis. Bottled water is $1, which is fair. Usually, places charge $3 or more for water. Overall, great place and good prices. I've met the owners before too and they are really nice.

Jason K.

Yelp
If you like old school video games, moderately priced beer, and a fun place to hang with a group of people enjoying nostalgia, then this is it. Tenth Level is across the street from Funky Buddha. It is a narrow, long bar, lined with video games on the wall and at the bar. I don't mean video game arcade machines. I mean video games. Old school Nintendo, Sega, and other games of that sort. They are free to play, and each station has two controllers. A friend and I stopped in for our first time, and played for at least an hour. The beer menu is solid, and has something for everyone. When we were there, it seemed like they were under construction for an expansion, so I am expecting the place to be larger in the coming months. I did not notice a food menu, but they may have limited snacks for sale.

Kimberly C.

Yelp
Now this is what you call a "barcade" ;) The moment you set foot inside, nostalgia hits you quick! On the bar are game stations with flat screens and two controllers that have multiple gaming platforms in a station, so you can flip from NES Nintendo to Super Nintendo etc. and each station has an extensive library of games. That's just the bar itself! Across are more TV screens with controllers to simulate those stand-up arcade games and further back are bigger flat screens and modern consoles to not leave out the modern gaming experience. Yes, the gaming selection is HUGE, probably bigger than their beverage menu hehe. They also have a great assortment of brews, from cans to bottles, and even non-alcoholic drinks for those who don't want to game under the influence lol. I didn't save my footage of how it looked indoors but I do have a snap of the drinks! Liane caught good pics of how it looks indoors if you're curious! The staff were really friendly and attentive. One of the staff members challenged my honey to Marvel VS Capcom and it was quite a close match but Andy won himself a free glass to take home! Good job my love! All thanks to Stephen putting him on the spot haha. Great teamwork got us a freeb lol. We ended our experience playing the new Mario Kart on the WiiU in the back, my thumbs feeling so sore afterwards from intense driving competition and shell throwing. Definitely want to come back to this "hidden" spot (we actually had a hard time finding this place that we actually called them) to kick back and game the night away with a drink on hand :)

Alexis F.

Yelp
I've been a couple of times and it never fails me. Craft beer and video games. God bless. I've been told they do Karaoke on Fridays. The staff is always friendly and the owner truly cares about his business. It's clearly a labor of love. While there aren't many traditional arcade cabinets, there are about over video games stations with gaming monitors and raspberry pie set ups. Def worth checking out. Or become a regular. Whatevs.

Samantha D.

Yelp
SEGA ::: NINTENDO ::: PLAYSTATION ::: XBOX ::: A Gamers Bar with the FUN Built In! Thanks to awesome Yelp Friends I noticed this Hot and New Spot that was definitely a must to check out! We wanted to go on a Tuesday when it is Kill The Keg Night! 2 for 1 on all drafts ALL night long! They also have Tournament Night & Fight Night on Wednesday and Thursday's! Check out their Facebook Page before planning your visit! I had no idea this place is located right across from Funky Buddha in the small strip mall facing the road. They have some parking right in front with also a free lot to park in right next door. HOURS- Mon-Wed 5pm-12am Thurs-Sat 5pm- 2am Sunday 1pm-12am First impression walking in was WOW WoW WOW! The theme is full throttle GAMING!! Everywhere you look you will find a gaming system hooked up to one of your favorite old school games! Additionally, it is pretty dark and has the feel of a mega awesome downstairs basement; not bar. They have couches with the big box TV's set up, standing games hooked up to actual gaming systems such as PlayStation, XBOX, and Wii, then they have The Bar! The bar is set up with an emulator for all the gaming. All for a total of about 15 gaming spots. As for the games you will find all sorts of the good oldies although come to think of it Duck Hunt I did not see and would of loved to play. They have a large assortment and also games in the back you can ask for but we did not. Favorites such as Sonic the Hedgehog- Super Mario Kart- Donkey Kong- Tetris- LOTS Fighting Games (like Mortal Combat)- Mario Kart- And More! Now to the Beer; we were a little disappointed with the selection of drafts. Only 6 on tap and not much of a variety. Seeming a bit odd they were all Funky Buddha highly sweet beers or the dark dark porters. They do have two large refrigerator cases full of Bottled and Canned Beer with a small selection of Sodas and Bottled Water. Including a simple 4 item Wine List. We also found their prices to be a bit on the higher side for their drafts. With such a great concept and theme this gaming bar is something different and fun for everyone to enjoy but keep it for the Big Kids Only!

Marqus R.

Yelp
Tenth Level Tavern isn't a bar for everybody. It's a gamer bar. Though it has one of the very best in beer and ale selections (no hard stuff) in the county, it's strictly for gamers. I might best describe it as geared and entirely devoted toward what I best might term as those of the Nintendo, Xbox, Sega and Playstation generation. Now mostly twenty-something at an age and I would think a little old for what I would consider children's games, the addiction to them and to their mobile devices lingers on. But as has been said: "You're never too old to have a happy childhood." But if you're thinking of a bar for casual or quiet conversation or any activity requiring fundamental social skills or abilities, I doubt that Tenth Level Tavern is a place for you. But, if you happen to be a gamer, which at age 73 I am not, and you enjoy great beers with an abundant variety of them, you can't do better than Tenth Level Tavern. So, though Tenth Level Tavern has little to offer me it has a lot to offer the Nintendo or Generation Y types. Hence, as it is also the best gamer bar I've seen around here, Four Stars.

Antrone W.

Yelp
Great after hours craft brewery bar...gotta love the vintage video game concept!! Took me back to the 80's!! The bartenders are friendly and professional!! Super duper laid back spot!!

Skye J.

Yelp
Eclectic gaming space with board games and various video games. Went with a group of friends near closing but bartender was still attentive and the drinks were yum! Next time we'll give the food a shot

Sarah F.

Yelp
Super cool place filled with gaming systems and a bunch of different beers. It's very chill, but still fun, and a different side of Fort Lauderdale for me. I'm normally on the strip. The computers have almost every type of system, old games, new games, I don't get how it works, but it's amazing. Diddy Kong Racing and 007 on the N64 all day everyday. The systems at the bar are the best, with two controllers each. It's hard to order a beer when every system is taken. You have to squeeze through, but it wasn't a big issue. The bartenders were really nice. There's a big beer menu to choose from. I loved it!

Brett N.

Yelp
Why 5 stars? Because I've never seen so many video games. --- --- --- Do you like beer? According to a recent Google search I just conducted, 41% of people who consume alcohol prefer it. (They also have a small wine list.) Do you like video games? According to a recent Google search I just conducted, 42% of people play video games every week. WOAH, that means that about 41.5% would looooooooveeeeeee Tenth Level Tavern! 1,869,000 people live in Broward, which means that 775,635 locals would enjoy Tenth Level Tavern, but this is only their 24th review. Beer/video game loving people of Broward - what gives? Show this place some love! But seriously - I have never seen so many video games under one roof. I noticed Super Smash Brothers toward the back, which I definitely wanted to play, but I was with my Wrestling-loving friends, so we got down with that. I could have definitely hung out here all night, because the beer list was really lengthy, and games only get more fun after a few beverages. What a cool spot - I really wish we had this in Tampa!

Nick B.

Yelp
This place is absolutely AMAZING! I've met so many awesome people here & not only is it an incredible bar with tons of great craft beer, vintage & new videogames but its like a family to me. If you've never been to this place is a MUST visit!

Xerxes N.

Yelp
Yelp Broward/Palm Beach Community Manager, Blue a (https://www.yelp.com/user_details?userid=2qKOL7C7WbG_M3EOWvTFxA) took me there Monday evening. If you're into some old school video games... Or better put, if you're still into the video games that you played as a kid and you have yet to grow up or still haven't let go of your inner childhood, this place is your jam. I was thinking this as more of a barcade with the big game machines. Nope. There are tons of TVs and accompanying game consoles everywhere!!! What a fascinating idea. Go in, grab a beer (draft, cans, or bottles), find an empty station, and play away. I took an ass whoopin' on Wrestlemania 2000 on N64 and after reading Blue's review from May, I realized this fool plays this game a lot. This is a pretty cool hang out spot!

Yelp
Such an awesome place to have a drink and travel back in time with old school video game consoles. They have a handful of draft beers and lots of bottle choices. From ales to lagers to ipas to porters, if you have a type, they have an option to match it. I had the Left Hand Milk Stout and loved it. Nice rich robust flavor. Now for the fun part. Mario kart, super Mario, smash brother, mortal kombat and much much more. A lot of their systems that are linked with the TV stations are emulators so you can switch through multiple games in one place. Beware of game hogs though, not everyone has the proper etiquette to let someone else play after a couple rounds so you might have to wait or politely ask for your turn. There's high top chairs and low seats too. Definitely a good chill spot on a Friday night.

Yelp
Like video games? Like beer? Then look no more! Come relive your childhood while getting a sweet buzz on. This is the most fun I have had at a bar in a long time. The bartenders were fast and playing super Mario made time fly. This is a great place to come with a few friends or on a date. There is have a ton of beers so they have something for everyone.

Yelp
This place is so much fun! I can't wait to return! Unfortunately, I am not much of a beer drinker. I arrived here on a date excited because I saw online they had both beer and wine. When we got there, the server took a while to get over to us. While we waited, we got lucky as two people got up from a Super Nintendo console at the bar so we started getting out Ninja Turtles Turtles in Time on. When the server finally got around to us, I asked about the wine. They informed me they have been out of red wine for weeks and only had Chardonnay. Although I am not a white wine drinker, I settled. The pour was very generous which was appreciated. We spent several hours drinking and playing various video games. There are so many options. In the front you have n64, at the bar you have the option between Super Nintendo and sega, at the back you have some of the newer options. All of the art is also on sale here. A good friend of mine bought a decent sized iron giant painting for only $60. Overall, I will be back. It was a fun and colorful atmosphere. Hoping for red wine next time!

Yelp
What an awesome concept! I never considered myself to be a "gamer" but I did enjoy playing a video game here and there throughout my childhood. If you're a 90's kid like me the "old school" games like Donkey Kong, Super Mario, a plethora of N64 games and even classics like Asteroid and Tetris were all lost arts for many years. Thankfully "retro" is in and despite the fact that word makes me feel sort of old being able to drink amazing craft beer while playing the video games I enjoyed as a child makes it sting a little less. The video game bar is very dark but open. They have a regular bar area that is adorned with landscape style computer screens that each have a console and controllers attached. You can play over 700 games as one or two player and the best part... it's FREE! Yes free! You don't pay anything to play the games! No coins, no tokens, no tickets! They have an amazing selection of craft beer and wine for purchase which, come on, who doesn't want to have an amazing cold beer and play an intense game of Street Fighter? They have tons of comics and similar paraphernalia along the walls and bar area. Some not really appropriate for children (some nude fan anime and gruesome comics) so maybe not super appropriate for some younger kids. The bartender was very nice, however, it was a fairly busy night and there was only the one employee here from what I saw. I had a great time turning back the clock and would definitely return for more nostalgic fun!

Yelp
Pros: FUN!!! Affordable, kick ass decor, free video games all around, several different systems. Got lost playing sega for a good 2 hours, tons of odd old school games. Played jeopardy and Frogger on Nintendo. Mario Kart all around. Everyone was super chill and friendly. Will go back! Cons: take hand sanitizer and wipes if you worry about germs, because everyone is touching EVERYTHING!!

Yelp
Awesome place to have beer/drinks and play classic arcade games! The staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is unmatched. From Tetris to marvel versus capcom 3, the games they have available brought me back to my childhood & the early 2000s. All the games and computer play are free! Funky Buddha brewery is also right across the street (within walkable distance). Tenth level tavern is 5 stars for sure! I highly recommend going here for a fun time.

Yelp
Spent some time at Tenth Level Tavern on Saturday afternoon. While there played some video games and drank some craft beer. Quality Tenth Level Tavern is a great place to step back in time and enjoy the video games you grew up with all while sipping on some beer. The bar has done a nice job making sure the space is full of all the classic video games you remember from arcade up to Wii, while also stuffing several fridges full of ice cold beer. I ended up selecting a beer on draft, which went perfect with an afternoon of games. Do not hesitate to ask for a sample of the draft beers, so you can pick something you like. They did seem focused on IPAs and ciders, but they had plenty of variety in the coolers. Quantity A large selection of beers and very fair pours. Hard to complain about either. Value They had several draft beers that ranged from $5 to $9, then a massive list of bottles and cans with a little more variety in price. The great thing though was all the games were free to play, including the tournament. Ambiance Tenth Level Tavern is located in the Oakland Park area of Ft. Lauderdale. It sits right across the street from Funky Buddha, making it a great spot to hop back and forth for some quality brews. The space was split into two long and relatively narrow rooms. The room on the right was pretty empty except for a long table covered in simulators. They had set up for a video game tournament that allowed guests to quickly jump from match to match. From posters it also looked like this room may be used for karaoke. The other side of the space had the bar and a ton of video game systems set up. Towards the front they had massive televisions set up with four player games, while the rest were really more for two player or single player games. The bar itself was covered with small screens and stools set up at each one. Whether it is arcade classics or early gaming systems, this place had the 80s and 90s covered. They also had a killer soundtrack of indie rock and hip-hop playing in the background. Crowd There was a small crowd of folks gathering for a video game tournament. They were set up in a separate area that seemed dedicated for events like this. It was great, because it left the other room that was filled with video game choices open. We were able to play several different games without ever having to wait. Service The bartender was very nice and happy to let me try out a few of the draft selections before making my pick. The staff also encouraged us to sign up for the tournament they were about to host, but unfortunately none of us could stick around for it. Parking There is a large free public parking lot between the building and the railroad track. Extra Tenth Level Tavern is a cool concept, bringing together quality beer and classic video games. It is easy to get lost in the games for a few hours and it is perfect for groups of friends looking to hang out.

Yelp
Me and group of friends had just finished an escape room and wanted to go for drinks. My husband and I remembered that this place wasn't too far from where the escape room was. Considering we are all gamers and only did an escape room because our healer couldn't make it to D&D, a video game bar was right up our alley. There happened to be a food truck rally nearby that had closed right before we got to the bar, so there were a ton of people there. It's probably a lot more fun when it's less busy. Lots of games for all kinds of consoles; arcade classics, old pc game, Nintendo 64, and others. Really nostalgic feel to it. They had one of my favorite cider brands, porters and stouts for some of my friends, and wine for my friend who'd been craving it. Best part was, you didn't need quarters to play! All games were free! Recommend for gamers and drinkers alike!

Yelp
Another Castle is so much fun that I find myself itching to return. It's a bar like no other because it's a Craft Beer bar with a classic video game vibe. We came on a Thursday night and it was fairly busy with people enjoying beers and playing games in front of the multiple stations in the bar. It wasn't hard to find our favorite game and we didn't have to wait long to start the gaming. The chosen game of the night was Smash Bros 4 and we had a blast playing with the other patrons of the bar. This is a great place to meet new people. They have an impressive beer list and I had no problem finding beers that I liked. They had a handful on tap and a lot of bottled and canned beers. The whole atmosphere here is so relaxed, everyone is in a great mood and there's tons of games to play. The room is decorated with fan art of different games, films, and the like. They have kill the keg nights on Tuesdays where they offer 2 for 1 drafts and they also have tournaments. I felt like I was at home, and everyone there was my friend and we all were there to have fun. It's a very positive place, and I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
This is my third time at Tenth Level Tavern and I love it! They have tournaments regularly for a variety of games with cash prizes. The drinks are decently priced and there is free parking. You'll find classics to play here. I was over joyed to see an N64! They also have current games and consoles to play with. All of these treasures are free of charge. Whether you're an avid gamer or occasionally like to play you will find that there is something for everyone. There new years party tonight included free champagne and a great DJ. My favorite part is how friendly everyone is here. Come check this place out and brings friends you're sure to have a great time.

Yelp
Great place to hangout with fellow gamers. A wide variety of arcade and console games. Wide variety of beer. Gear gaming atmosphere.

Yelp
This place is Uber fun. Jam packed with a great selection of games, consoles and music. For any techy person, it's clear how they pull this off and why it may also be an issue down the road (but I ain't no Snitch). This also explaines why the place is kind dinkyl, if a bars asthetic bothers you then a drink here may be an issue. The alcohol can be a bit on the pricey side and offers a very bizzare and diverse variety flavors and meads. Overall if you have a friend who likes video games and wanna place to chill out at to play Tetris then come on by.
