We had our wedding at Tenth Ward Distillery in Frederick and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The team was so accommodating and wonderful to work with from start to finish. The space was perfect for our vibe, and the drinks—especially our signature cocktails—were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend them for any event!

We had an amazing time at Tenth Ward! Staff were welcoming and our drinks were delicious. Bonus for being able to order food from Maxwell’s next door.

My wife discovered Tenth Ward on a trip with her friends and raved about it. We dropped in for drinks on a Saturday, and it lived up to the hype! They have a fun, ecclectic setup. The staff was friendly. They handled the crowded bar area well and made some great drinks. We did a cocktail flight, which was great. I highly recommend the Corpse Reviver and the Bees Knees. Will definitely visit again!

Google
lovely little hole in the wall. staff are always wonderfully helpful and obliging, and the menu's always got banging seasonal cocktails in addition to the standard lineup. been a bottle club member for years and I've never been disappointed. you have not lived until you've had eggnog spiked with their amarellico. with the fresh nutmeg grated on top? get outta here

I’m not sure how I haven’t gotten around to reviewing Tenth Ward yet, but here it is. This place has the best cocktails I’ve had in the Maryland, D.C. , Virginia area by far. I’m a regular there and enjoy my interactions with the employees all the time. The drinks they make are very delicious and the service is top notch. It’s someplace that will always feel like a memorable place to go to.

Google
A great place to go for a relaxing drink in downtown Frederick! They have great distilled spirits (I especially enjoy the smoked whisky), and mixed drinks including cocktails on tap! You can buy cocktails in a can to take home with you, and also buy bottles of your favorite spirits. They don’t sell food, or have a food menu, but you can easily order food from the burger joint next door on your phone that they will happily deliver to your table. They have plenty of bar seating, tables and booths, as well as an event space in the back.

Google
We are incredibly grateful to Tenth Ward for their outstanding collaboration and generous support during our Raise a Glass for Superheroes event. From the very start, the team was welcoming, professional, and truly a joy to work with. Not only did they provide a fantastic venue that set the perfect tone for the evening, but they also went the extra mile by creating a signature cocktail just for our fundraiser—a unique and memorable touch that everyone loved! Thanks to Tenth Ward’s hospitality and generosity, we were able to raise vital funds in support of our mission. It was an honor to partner with such a community-minded business, and we truly felt like part of the Tenth Ward family. We look forward to many more events together. Thank you again for making it all so special!

Google
Unique Flavors Central location for the bar. Spirits are distilled at another location in town. I enjoyed the distilled mead, smooth. The corn whiskey i liked less. Was disappointed they do not have a Bourbon. Live music Thursday and Friday nights. Courteous service. Modern charge equipment. Clean restrooms.

Yelp
This woman own distillery company is tucked away in downtown Frederick. Everything is amazing. There are many options of Maryland Rye, Bourbon, and seasonal cocktails, and much more. their slogan is Ward of ordinary and that is exactly what they do. The cocktails are tasty and our price perfectly. It's nice to be able to find a good distillery that offers decent price beverages. At this time they don't serve any food however, right next-door is Maxwell's and because of its location, they're plenty of other location to stop by. My favorite cocktail was the seasonal mule stopping in this holiday seasoning. Get yourself one it's very tasty. This place decor was great point and the service was amazing love the ambience in the expose brick mixed in with a few chandeliers and oversize chairs for a photo ops.

Yelp
We were out in Frederick for the day checking out the wineries and decided to stop in the downtown sector. We heard live music and decided to check out this place. Our bartender was very friendly and welcoming. We only got drinks, I got a Smokey old fashioned and their rendition of a side car. It was a nice vibe and if I am ever in the area I would definitely come back to try the food.

Yelp
What a treat to see Tenth Ward Distilling Co at a booth at the MD State Fair. I was able to taste several free samples which were all fantastic. I ended up buying a four pack of the canned Fairy Fang cocktails to enjoy later. Yummers! Great customer service by the woman at the booth. Great location inside the exhibition hall and strategically placed for good foot traffic.

Yelp
Cool relaxing vibe! We stumbled across 10th Ward Distilling while walking around Frederick one evening and it looked like a fun place to stop. Very welcoming environment. The staff was great and made us feel like they were glad we stopped in for a visit. Since it was our first time, everyone went out of their way to say "Hello" and give us tips on not only their drinks, but places to eat in town. Bottles/glasses of water were regularly brought around during our visit, which was greatly appreciated.  The cocktail menu is large and provides options for a wide range of tastes. A Spirit Flight is also available to sample three of their spirits. We chose to go the cocktail route and tried an old fashioned w/ Rye, a Manhattan, and the Autumn Mule. All drinks were delicious! Very flavorful and not watered down (as in some places). A few selections were for club members only, but they sounded so good I'm pondering joining just to try a few.  There is seating around the bar and a section of tables to self seat.  In between the two areas are huge/tall leather chairs and a sofa, which were very comfortable to relax and socialize while enjoying a tasty drink.

Yelp
Oh this place is sooo good!! I randomly suggested that we hit up this place for some pre-dinner cocktails...and whoa, was this a fantastic idea. We found seats at the bar, and the service was very kind and attentive. The cocktails are unconventional and very well thought-out..offering an elevated mixed drink experience! The menu has something for everyone, and the mixologist bartenders can whip up most anything (or variation) you request. No food is served here but truthfully, you come for the unique cocktails and tastings. The place is spacious and has a ton of natural light. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Coolest, weirdest drinks in Frederick. This place makes evvvverything from scratch. The absinthe was awesome! There is no food here but they allow outside food and you can order from a QR code from the restaurant next door - Maxwell's. Great service, music on weekends, cool bar.

Yelp
Bought their canned Espresso Martini drink hoping to support a local woman-owned business. Unfortunately, the drink tastes absolutely vile. Poured the rest of the can down the drain and dumped the remaining. Thanks for your response. I appreciate your concern about downgrading your nearly sterling score on Yelp, but it's not my practice to avoid reviewing a business out of concern for hurting it's reputation. Customers need to understand that that particular product is vile. I don't know how it ended up on store shelves.

Yelp
I love that this distillery is owned by women and that you can order burgers from Maxwell if needed. The drinks are always delicious and the offer a great seasonal variety. I've always felt welcomed and enjoyed my time with friends while drinking the drinks. They also garnish the drinks which personally I think sets them apart from other distilleries.

Yelp
Woman owned small business with adorable tasting room that serves top tier spirits??? Yes please and thank you! what more can I say. I've actually tried Tenth Ward spirits at farmers markets in Baltimore and festivals around the state, but I hadn't been to the physical location until March. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon we stopped in for cocktails. I did a tasting flight to reacquaint myself with the goods. Turns out they also have cocktail flights! I'm a whiskey girl through and through, but the tart cherry apple brandy and gin were delightful. I left with bottles of both, but the former blew mind! The perfect balance of tart and sweet and the color is to die for! Apparently they use a recipe from the 19th century. I can't recall the specific date but I'm pretty sure it had an 18 in front of it; and to that I say, if it ain't broke don't fix it! After my flight (and me raving about the apple brandy), the bartender made me a tart cherry sidecar (see photo) that was perfect. They also have fun and interesting canned cocktails that are not to be missed. On my last visit they had added some new flavors so I can't wait to get back and try them!

Yelp
What a cute little spot in the heart of Fredrick! My gf and I came in on a Saturday night. They had a wedding going on in the back/upstairs but the bar area had space. The bartender was wonderful and very attentive. We were disappointed that they were closing as we would have gladly spent a lot more money. Lol We started with the cocktail flight which I think is a nice touch for someone who wants to sample a few things. The menu was unique and fresh. Prices were right. I loved the shelf displays of all their own products! This is a great little spot and would spend more time here easily!

Yelp
We have used Tenth Ward multiple times for our team meetings and holiday parties, and I have attended many more events and meetings at their beautiful space. The historic wedding venue is woman-owned and features wall-to-wall exposed brick, large industrial windows, and beautiful original hardwood floors. It is on the second floor and requires stairs to access but it is worth the short climb. The staff is very responsive and easy to work with. In addition to business meetings I know they host weddings. I am sure it would be a wonderful venue for this as well!

Yelp
This was my first time here and I loved it. Came with my hubby and another couple. This place is all about trying unique sprits and cocktails. They do offer food from Maxwell's next door. You can use the QR Code on the menu to see the menu and order. The Good: 1) Really fun vibe and attentive service 2) The servers really explained the drinks and what was happening - i.e. why there's a sugar cube above the Absinthe and what the water drip is for, etc. 3) Unique drinks and choices 4) Not outrageous prices The Bad: Really wasn't any. We enjoyed it! Tips: 1) Definitely try something you haven't had before. I had a pear drink with their Autumn spirits and it was delicious. They can give recommendations if you aren't sure. 2) I recommend a flight or trying more than one thing since there are several choices and they seem to be seasonally available. Our party had the Spirit Flight, the triple pear drink, a full boat Absinthe, and a traditional gin and tonic (which was pretty interesting - the gin was almost earthy). We'll definitely go again and would like to try food too next time. They apparently can also accommodate large parties. We saw one going to a room in the back.

Yelp
You had me at woman owned!! Ive tried their spirits at various festivals so I was excited to pop in when I was in the area and the space is so beautiful! So many different seating options and thoughtfully laid out just as I would expect from a woman owned business. Since I had tried a few things before and they had so many options I opted to go with a cocktail tasting flight such a good choice! I got to try three really good cocktails served on an adorable cocktail board. I walked away with canned drinks and a new coffee mug. Overall great trip out and cant wait to return.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing place. Great service, spirits, and drinks. It's a must if you're in the area.

Yelp
Attended a private party that was held upstairs as my first visit to X Ward and have already decided that we need to come back to partake in some of the other cocktails that are generally offered given that our private party offered a limited beverage menu. I could see while walking through the downstairs that they offered a variety of house mixed cocktails featuring their distilled spirits. The menu had some rather interesting concoctions, one that caught my eye was a smoked whiskey margarita. Bottoms up!

Yelp
Tenth Ward is fire. My fiancée and I each got tasting flights, trying all of their currently available spirits between us, and their draft cocktail flights, and I got a penicillin cocktail. Their spirits and cocktails are unique and creative. They're also very polished products. Everything they served was very ready for prime time, which isn't always the case for inventive craft distilleries. For the spirits: They have a genever-style gin, a style that's less piney and smoother and more delicate than a London dry; a smoked corn whiskey, which is a white whiskey where the corn is smoked pre-mash (unusually smooth for a white whiskey, and definitely brings some smoke); honey jack, which is distilled mead... it's smooth and sweet but not cloyingly so... I'm surprised other people aren't making this because it's good and I think would have a ton of appeal; an absinthe, which is better than most on the market (and, for anyone coming up from VA, is better than anything stocked by the ABCs and cheaper than the ABC's decent one); and, their current limited time offering, which is made from a historic Frederick-rooted recipe, and is made with apple brandy with a generous dose of cherry that makes it taste like a cherry pie without too much sweetness. Every one of the spirits was excellent. We got a bottle of the absinthe and of the Brinton's Brandy to take home. The vibe inside is fun. The decor is kind of quirky. They keep the garnishes in visible jars that, combined with the decor, hint at an apothecary. The service was attentive and very knowledgeable about their products. Our visit was a great experience all around!

Yelp
I don't know where to start! Our experience with Xth Ward was nothing short of a dream. The venue was perfect for our vision! The space is beautiful on its own! We had about 110 guests and were comfortable. 120 could have been tight. Jenn and Elizabeth were the most accommodating and provided timely responses and were so creative themselves! We strongly recommend The Xth Ward as a top venue of choice!

Yelp
I tried to put this experience out of my mind but I can no longer stay silent.  I still haven't returned or purchased any Tenth Ward items from local spirit shops. On July 6, 2019, I excitedly visited Tenth Ward Distilling Company.  I was so excited to be visiting their new location in Downtown Frederick ever since their move.  I had previously visited for a tasting and the absinthe celebration day.  I really wanted to support this place because it was a female-owned business and the local spirits were awesome - especially the absinthe!  We went in to purchase their Caraway Rye Whiskey for a friend and I couldn't resist getting a cocktail. I even took a photo to commemorate the day! My boyfriend and I enjoyed ourselves and the owner came out and we all chatted with the bartender. After purchasing our gift and paying for our drinks, we walked out of the bar.  We crossed the street to visit a few shops and was chased by the bartender.  She told me we didn't pay for our bottle and drinks.  I showed her the receipt and with a weak apology, she walked back to the bar. Thinking that maybe this was a big misunderstanding, I re-entered the bar and asked to speak to the owner.  I asked her why we were approached and she blew me off with a response "Oh it happens all the time." Excuse me? It happens all the time - to the point where your bartender chases after patrons to accuse them of dining and dashing? I have not returned since July 6, 2019 and I honestly wish my experience hadn't ended so harshly.  I spent almost $100 at Tenth Ward and enjoyed myself and it ended so negatively.

Yelp
Perfection! This awesome woman-owned distillery in Downtown Frederick makes some fabulous cocktails. I personally loved the cocktail flights. Even better was the service, which was warm and welcoming. They have a great long bar and a few tables in the back. Apparently, they also have an event space since there was a wedding going on! I will definitely be back to try all the various options.

Yelp
Wife and I went in yesterday for a couple of drinks and to pick up our club bottles. As usual, the staff went above and beyond. Each one took the time to check on us and make sure we were good and have friendly conversation. Also, the new Maryland rye whiskey is excellent. All of our drinks were perfect. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Long time lover of this places spirits. First time going into the bar. Is it a bar? Tasting room? Anyways we were in our first date in Frederick since the whole Covid mess. I wanted to go here because I love their spirits and yeah alcohol... Warmly greeted upon entering, the staff explained the cocktails and spirits without being pushy. They left us time to think about what we wanted. I don't like the 'bottle club' idea. Where spirits are only available to those who join. Yes it's free (ish) but they could theoretically produce a line of spirits you don't want. And the rum I wanted was on the bottle club list. However our server didn't give a damn and let me taste the rum and buy a bottle without making sure I joined. I would have. But I'm happy that I was let off. The sprits I tried and the bottles I bought were fantastic. I bought the rum which isn't colored. Why does it need to be colored? And it was beyond good. Huge rum drinker and I rank their version very highly indeed. Also bought the Rye. I hated Rye because the previous versions I've had were frankly crap. Crap spirits makes me think the whole spirit isn't for me. Tenth Ward proved that Rye is for me, in fact I really like the taste. Quality counts!

Yelp
We have really enjoyed the times we have come to Tenth Ward. We have stopped by to try their seasonal drinks as well as do flights of their different spirits. They have incredible aromatics and flavors to their spirits and highly recommend to give them all a shot. Their Smoked Corn Whiskey and Caraway Rye both are something you won't find elsewhere. Their space is absolutely gorgeous and we saw they have live music there as well. Our favorite cocktail would have to be the spicy marg! You can get all three of their main cocktails in a flight. Well priced and very friendly. They have a nice outdoor seating area that shares space with Maxwell's next door.

Yelp
I visited Frederick for a day trip/hike from DC very excited to visit this distillery. I had previously sampled some of their liquors in a restaurant in DC and I remembered it fondly. This is also a women owned business which is another plus in my book. The space for the distilling company was really cute and so well decorated. It wasn't very crowded on a Saturday at 3PM which meant that we didn't have to wait too long to get service. I started off with the cocktail flight which I was way more excited to try than neat alcohol. All the cocktails were fantastic and so well made. I believe they were also all the cocktails the restaurant currently had on draft. I started with the margarita which came with a salt and sugar rim. The drink was exceptional and probably the best margarita I've had in a while. With the flight, you get about half a glass full which was a great deal. I followed up the flight with their seasonal sweater weather cocktail with gin as the main liquor. It was so delicious and refreshing. I'd definitely recommend this place for a chill afternoon drink. Not to mention, they are partnered with a restaurant next door where you can order food or snacks while you drink which was a great touch. The restaurant also delivers so you don't have to leave the distillery in the middle of a drink. Highly recommend!

David P.

Yelp
So I discovered this place by finding their canned cocktails in my local liquor store, their corpse reviver with absinthe made for a unique buzz and then led me into the online research. I discovered they were in downtown Frederick and then I made it a plan to eventually come here. Let's say I waited too long, the cocktails are so good and their liquors are very different then what you're used to in a great way. The place is so clean and welcoming and it feels like a very relaxed place to enjoy a drink. We went home with their seasonal autumn liqueur and it's amazing. Definitely a place to check out if you like cocktails, if you want food you can order from next door which is pretty darn good.

Yelp
Came here when we were driving through on a hike because a buddy was absolutely obsessed and said it was the best distillery. While I wasn't a huge fan, it's still a neat spot. Had my dogs with me, so we sat outside. I'm not usually wild about cocktails so I started just drinking spirits. I ordered the summertime liqueur since it was brandy and I usually love me some good brandy. It did have a bit of a floral taste, and the red color threw me off a bit, but it was good. Not worth-the-trip good, but a nice thing to sip on since I was already there. I tried someone's tiki type cocktail (I honestly don't remember what it was) and it was great. I ordered my own! The inside decorations are also super neat and it has a very antique gothic modern vibe going. I don't know that I'd go back, but I enjoyed my time here nonetheless. Our server was super fun and we really enjoyed talking to and laughing with him every time he came out to check on us.

Yelp
Absolutely superb establishment. When we walked in we were greeted and told we can have a seat at the bar. The ingredients used to make the cocktails were all fresh and in front of us. The alcohol used was made by the distillery. The people working there were happy to provide food recommendations. Bonus is that while tenth ward doesn't serve food, Maxwells is excellent and 2 steps away. They will bring the food to you while you drink your amazing cocktails.

Yelp
Stopped in to pick up a bottle of the Absinthe today, normally I get it in Abingdon, but I was in the area and figured no time like the present, right? So, I had stopped in a few months ago on a Sunday for maybe a half hour, wanted to see the place.....had one drink, and got some Absinthe to go. Well, I remember talking a bit with Aimee and Ari on that day, it was slow... cold, wet out, etc. So anyway, today looked pretty busy, but as she looked up to see what I wanted, Almost immediately, Aimee said: "You're Bob, right? I remember you"............. Mind Blown!! Ok, that made me feel so good, like I was a regular, or sumpthin' more than just the next guy to serve...! Awesome. I was there once, months ago, and I live like 80 miles away....Ari said she thought the same. That's an All-Star crew to have behind your bar to be able to remember customers in that way. Those Ladies are keepers there for sure... Professionals, 1000%! I'm definitely a fan! Thanks! Robert List, Bel Air, Md

Yelp
fun drinks and great bottle club! Nova took care of us and we had a great time. 11/10 I will always recommend this place!

Yelp
Hey oh! New distillery in Frederick! Such a cute space and when the renovations are over, it will be a phenomenal hosting and event space! Wait a sec, what about their spirits?! The make the only Absinthe in the region. If you're an absinthe fan, you'll love theirs. It's only the 3rd time I've had it but it tastes just like the stuff in Europe. My favorite spirit, by far, was the roasted corn whiskey - it tasted like a mezcal tequila. The suggestion was to treat it as such and make a jalapeno margarita with it! Something I will definitely try. They also have seasonal spirits (an Autumn whiskey that tasted of cinnamon, clove, and all the spices you'd associate with the fall/winter season). Go here! Do it now!

Yelp
Great small craft distillery on the outskirts of downtown Frederick. We walked from Market Street and stopped in for a tasting and a tour. The owner/distiller was working in the back and came right out to show us around. He was very enthusiastic and knowledgable about what he does, which was nice to see. The $5 tasting consisted of the Lindsay Stunk White Rye, White Caraway Rye Spirit, and the Claude Countee Corn Whiskey. The Claude Countee Corn Whiskey had a very unique taste and was my favorite. I look forward to seeing what this distillery will come up with in the future. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a stop!

Yelp
Best tasting in the DMV! I visited Tenth Ward Distilling today with my wife and a couple friends. I was familiar with their spirits from having tasted and purchased them previously at the Silver Spring Farmers' Market. Tenth Ward apparently recently moved into this new building (in the last few months), separating their production (distilling/bottling) from their tasting & event space. As a consequence, the tour focused predominately on the tasting. And, the tasting was outstanding! Everyone received a Glencairn glass and we used a tasting wheel developed by Modern Bar Cart to work through the spirits. Before each spirit, the guide talked us through the ingredients and process for each spirit. We tried the Caraway Rye and Smoked Corn whiskeys as well as the Absinthe and soon to be released Brinton's Brandy. Tenth Ward really takes care with their spirits and each brings something different but exceptional. Ultimately, I ended up pulling the trigger to join the Distillery's bottle club. This Women Owned Distillery is not the biggest but they are making great products and doing it right. Looking forward to watching them grow.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and super friendly staff! Everyone was so kind and attentive during our visit. They checked on us at the right time to make sure we didn't need more water or drinks. Also loved how you had the option to order food from the restaurant next door! Unfortunately we ate before hand but next time we come back we'll definitely try it out Only thing I would like to note for management (which I'm not knocking them for at all!) is to ensure that anyone renting the venue space upstairs wear a mask when using the bathroom. We were there for awhile and each time we went to the bathroom, one of the (wedding?) guests was in the bathroom not wearing a mask. Everyone on the restaurant side was compliant and mindful of space. Could be because they thought the bathroom was solely apart of their rental, or because the great drinks were hitting. Regardless, if you're coming here at all--be respectful of everyone in the building and wear a mask when moving around. For their safety and yours!

Yelp
My son and I had a Tour today..(12/19/2020) with Tenley. This was our 1st time visiting the Tenth Ward Woman Owned Distilling Company. Thanks to the "Wine District Store" for introducing us to their canned cocktails. The Customer Service, Taste Test, Location and Merchandise is Highly recommended. All are amazing but the Honey Jack is the BEST. Please HELP support your LOCAL Spirit Distilling Company. Make sure to check out their upcoming events and join the Club.

Yelp
I have been here once before and came a second time, then realized I definitely want to write a review on this place. Not only was it friendly service, provided a detailed description of the cocktails on the menu, but the drinks were amazing ! The flavors really came out and I love the fun names to each cocktail ! I ordered a cocktail flight, so I can try a variety of drinks there. It was pleasant to get friendly service from the bartenders/mixologists Danielle and Sarah! I went there with a group on a Saturday, so it will take a minute to make these drinks, but they are totally worth it! I would love to do a tour sometime.

Yelp
The good: initially, I loved this place. The drinks are artfully crafted, taste great, and you can get great food delivered to your table from the next restaurant over. We came in early January, and were treated to neat specialty drinks it was clear the bartender put great time into making. We also appreciated the atmosphere and the design of the space, it really made hanging out there fun. The bad: Their happy hours are intentionally deceptive, and the bartender manipulated us into taking the happy hour at face value. There is a sign on the door for their Wednesday happy hour, stating quite clearly that starting at 6pm cocktails are sold at the same price as the hour of the day until closing. Prior to ordering drinks, I asked our bartender for clarification, clearly stated the drinks I was looking to order, and asked if the happy hour was available. She affirmed what I was saying, so me and the wife ordered a few drinks. When we got our checks, I of course said that she never discounted our drinks, upon checking the receipt, she pointed to a sign that stated "draft cocktails". Please note, the sign on the door just said "cocktails" and I was never aware that "draft cocktails" and "cocktails" were even different, nor did it occur to me since the bartender had assured me prior that the happy hour applied to what I wanted to order. I can only assume she wanted to scam me out of a couple more bucks In hopes of a higher tip, in my opinion good service is better if that's your aim.

Yelp
Cool experience. Space feels recently remodeled on a busy street. There is a large parking garage nearby. The staff is friendly and ready to answer questions, make drinks and make recommendations. There are tours available or the space for events. Try out the spirits.

Yelp
Sarah Mitchell and Marissa are killing it for the soft opening of the cocktail bar. Significantly impressed.

Yelp
I have so much to say about this place. One of the top woman owned distillery's in downtown Frederick. They are still fairly new but are constantly releasing new cocktails and booze every month. My favorite drink was sex on the snowbank with the cotton candy, I highly recommend trying it out. A lot of locals visit here and have memberships which anyone can get into which gives you access to the special membership cocktails, first dibs on new distilled alcohol. The place is absolutely stunning inside with tons of photo op's for you and your guests to enjoy. If you are looking for a place to hangout with your friends, telework, or just grab a quick cocktail while you walk, Tenth Ward is the place. The staff were amazing and conversed with all of their guest. They were never too busy for their customers. There is so much to experience at tenth ward especially the absinthe! Brace yourself you will walk out with a couple of bottles.

Yelp
I had a great experience here. The drinks we had were all really good and reasonably priced. The employees were very friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks. They even had live music! We haven't seen any live music in over a year now so that was a sweet surprise!

Yelp
They have a super big place so social distancing is practiced. I watched them spray and clean every seat table and menu after each customer left. They have really unique liquors and top notch cocktails. The staff are so friendly. You can just hang and and sip. No pressure.

Yelp
Amazing drinks and amazing service. Emily took the time to explain so many things to us and to let us taste several spirits and ingredients (like the pumpkin fat wash). We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Must take the tour with Kent and 'Verbal'! Very informative on how they make their whiskey and brandy. The smoke corn whiskey is really tasty. Tastings are $4 for 4. A newer distillery that does a great job!

Yelp
Informative and quick tour and even quicker tasting. It was a little too quick on the tasting since we were trying 5 different types and my tongue got a bit numb to effectively taste the last two but for $5 I can't complain. The couple running the distillery were incredibly friendly. We were happy with our experience and several of my group bought a bottle. Yum. I would recommend the experience and the whiskey.

Yelp
My partner and I were really excited to check this place out after visiting several other distilleries and enjoying our experiences. At Tenth Ward, we were pretty disappointed. Most of the cocktails were creative to the extreme, turning out pretty unpalatable. We couldn't finish them. Positives: It was cool to sit at the bar and watch the bartenders craft our drinks. The bartenders were nice and the space was cool as well. Great location. Overall, was not our cup of tea.
