Went here for happy hour and it was such good value! Each app we got only cost $6 and we got chips and salsa for free, plus the server offered us refills twice. On Tuesdays it's even better with $1.50 soft tacos! A must try!

We loved our experience at Tequila Jack’s for lots of reasons. The food was delicious, the waiter was friendly, there was nice seating, and lots more reasons. Overall, it was amazing and we loved it.

So I'll admit I'm not the pickiest when it comes to judging food. I thought the food was great although I can't remember if it was chicken or steak fajita. The strawberry lemonade was amazing 🍓 🍋. The service was also excellent from what I remember. They allowed my friend to wheel his scooter Into the restaurant. The best part about this place is the atmosphere. The harbor being right there in all of the ship and the small shops and restaurants provide an ambiance that made me want to stay longer. Didn't think I would even be leaving this review so I didn't take pics of the food, but I saw a video in my phone that will give you a feel of the atmosphere.

Google
Absolutely Outstanding Experience - Twice In One Trip During a recent trip to Long Beach, CA, I visited Tequila Jack's Restaurant & Cantina not once, but twice—and both visits were absolutely fantastic! From the start, the service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. On both visits, we started with the chips and queso, and they were perfect—crispy, warm tortilla chips paired with a rich, creamy queso that had just the right amount of kick. A great way to begin the meal! We couldn’t resist ordering the fajitas again on our second visit—they were that good. Sizzling hot, perfectly seasoned, and served with fresh tortillas and all the classic fixings. Each bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The menu offers a wide spectrum of bold, flavorful Mexican dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. Combine that with the lively waterfront setting, and you have the perfect dining spot. Tequila Jack’s checks every box: incredible food, flawless service, and a fun, inviting atmosphere. It’s officially one of my go-to spots in Long Beach. Highly recommend—you won’t be disappointed!

Generous portion on the carne asada burrito — flavorful, well-seasoned, and filling. Casual, laid-back atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was attentive and friendly. Great spot for a relaxed meal near the waterfront.

Google
Pretty good Mexican spot right along the pier. The ambiance was great along with the staff. They had ample veggie options so there is something for everyone to enjoy. Our waiter was extremely caring and brought us their spicy salsa on top of the normal one the give to have with the chips while we waited for the food. I enjoyed my cheese enchiladas and thought it had good flavor and kept me full!

Google
First time here, and I was recommended this place, and I'm very glad I went here. Food and drinks did not disappoint and will gladly come back. Right next to the marina, great location.

Google
The wait staff are very friendly This is a busy place that hold many guests Wait was about 25min Everyone really enjoyed the food, but the meat in tacos was just a touch under seasoned The view is very beautiful if you sit on the patio outside

Yelp
The Pike is known for having a hefty sum of the Greater LA area's waterfront restaurants. And being in the area on a Monday evening around 5:30PM, myself and a plus one found Tequila Jack's in the enclaves of boats and piers. Feeling hungry, we made our way inside to try it out. walking into the restaurant, the hostess at the front asked if we would like to sit inside or outside. Although it was mentioned that the seats outside did not have heaters, we still opted to sit outside anyway....only to find that the outdoor section was covered and was about as warm as the inside itself. We came in at just the perfect time for dinner as the server let us know that the restaurant has a happy hour special that goes from 3PM to 6PM. During this time, certain appetizers and drinks were discounted. Taking advantage of the happy hour, I decided to order the Happy Hour Buffalo Wings ($6) and a regular Salmon plate ($24) to go with it. Even though it was dark out by the time we sat down, the environment both inside and outside the restaurant screamed LIVELY with string lights, blue ambient lighting, and unique decor that were inspired by a mix of Hispanic cultures. Because of this, it made the eating environment that much more enjoyable. Taking a look at the chicken wings first, the portion came with 4 wings, a small side of sliced vegetables, and some ranch dressing. And for the price, it wasn't bad. There are many places that easily charge 20 dollars for 8 pieces of wings, so it was reasonable. Each wing had a large amount of meat on it as well which also helped justify the price. For last, I noticed the generous amount of ranch dressing. A part of me wished I had more wings to dip into the dressing, but they did not cheap out on the sauce. As for the salmon plate, the portion was also good! In addition to a thick salmon fillet, the dish also came with a slice of lemon, serving of rice, corn pudding, papaya pineapple salsa; and sauteed onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and broccoli. For 24 dollars, it was surprising that there was such a portion of items for the price. And after leaving the restaurant, I was pretty close to full after considering both items ordered. The total for both was about $30 dollars which can lean on the more pricey side. But again, you have to factor in that this is a waterfront restaurant on the coast of Long Beach. On taste, each of the items were actually good overall! The buffalo sauce on the wings was given in just a perfect amount for it was rich with spice but wasn't messy. And dipping into the light and creamy ranch, the wings became very vibrant. Of anything to say, the meat was moist which made them very delicious. In terms of the salmon plate, the salmon pretty good and everything else was great. Trying the vegetables first, the onions were light, were void of sour moisture, and had substance which made them go well with the fish. The mushrooms and broccoli had a similar salted taste which also helped hold down the dish. The bell pepper had a somewhat sour taste to it, but it was little to nonexistent and added a somewhat rough texture in. Eating the pineapple and papaya salsa next, the sweetness gave some merit to the fish, especially with the addition of the lemon on top. I would definitely leave it on the side instead of placing it on the main dish though. And last but not least, the fish was fresh, moist, and broke apart very easily! The salmon skin on the bottom was made crispy and made for a dry contrast to the soft fish. These said though, the salmon was under seasoned and required a lot more salt and pepper to bring out the hidden flavors. After seasoning with the table condiments, it tasted better! But it tasted like little to nothing without it. If coming to Tequila Jack's, I would imagine most would be looking to try their tacos, enchiladas, and other specialties. But from the items I had, it was actually really good food! The environment was lively, the view was spectacular, the dining spaces were very spacious, and the service was on point. The prices for portion were good overall, but I would emphasize that this was because I came right as happy hour was ending. As for the flavors, the chicken wings were prepared very well and the salmon plate had a variety of items included with it. If looking for a good spot on the waterfront to have a meal, Tequila Jack's has something good going on here! Will definitely be back with a high 4 star rating!

Yelp
Fabulous happy hour m-f 3-6 pm ! Food and drinks.. salsa s got some bite ! We had excellent ser and excellent open air marina front restaurant atmosphere!! Service was outstanding by. Steven Colbert s doppelgänger twin :)

Yelp
Food is okay. But the mild salsa is Olala.... Service was better this time. Oswaldo was our service. Staff are not attentive as they should. Refilling water check how are you doing. Ambiance is good, is by the water. Happy hour they do have it! Check the hours please. The Cadillac margarita is the bomb. Please work on the customer service ethic, a little bit better. Thank you.

Yelp
We are here for happy hour. We ordered fish tacos and hamburger sliders. The sliders was a good pick, we both enjoyed it. The service is pretty good, just as we expected. We also love the beautiful ocean views and enjoyed the music.

Yelp
Came back here on a Sunday for lunch with my dog. I had the Carne Asada Burrito with Verde Sauce and a Cadillac Margarita. The burrito was flavorful, packed with carne asada, and absolutely delicious. The service was also excellent, our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, even bringing my dog a treat and a glass of water! The margaritas here are amazing and especially for the size and price, $15 for a 20oz margarita!

Yelp
I went there today for happy hour with a friend and I was presented with bad service, and the servers were prejudice they never greeted us we had to ask for are menus then after 20mins the sever finally came still never greeter us after he help everyone else that were already with food and drinks when he came he was rude and just ask for are ID's he literally snatch my friend Id out or hand I couldn't even Oder my food how weird and awkward that was then he just walked away and we just left because that was a weird horrible experience I will not be going back there every time I come it like they never want to serve my kind we are always the last or waiting the longest

Yelp
My first time here and it was so cute inside, next time I want to sit outside. Music was festive and not too loud. Our server was soo nice I don't remember his name but shoutout him! I didn't think of asking if chicken as a substitute but the beef was not it for me personally. And the top of the beans had way too much grease on it I don't know what that was about. Other than that great experience. 8/10

Yelp
Food is ok but the made to order guacamole was delicious. Great service. Music was loud but it was a Sat night. Looks out over the docks

Yelp
Pregnant sister was craving this place on a Tuesday . And good thing they had the taco Tuesday deal. It's in Long Beach near the pike. You do have to pay for parking but they validate it when you eat at their restaurant and it takes some cents off lol. Anyways it's crowded so be prepared but we did kill time at the arcade . Service was great and our server was Cynthia. Came to check on us and refilled our drinks and chips so thank you. We ordered tacos asada and got chicken strips for $6 and potato skin. Pretty good overall . Ambiance is very festive

Yelp
First time trying this place. What drew us in was the location since it is right on shoreline village close to where we just finished riding bikes. Ambiance 4/5: we were seated outside. The view was beautiful. You get to people watch the people passing by and see the boats on the water. Service 5/5: Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and checked on us frequently. Food: 3/10. I got the crunchy beef tacos meal with refried beans and corn cake. The beef tacos had very little meat and the meat was dry. The corn cake had good flavor but also tasted drier than what I am used to. Beans were creamy but did not have much flavor. Mini burgers from the happy hour menu were also OK.
google avatar

Yelp
Slightly disappointed with my meal but the margarita kicked my butt! Cadillac margarita was amazing! Definitely worth it but I could only drink one! My taquitos were disappointing. It could have used a little more guacamole and some sour cream. The lettuce was wilty (not that I planned to eat it) but it just looked thrown together. Not a ton of meat in the taquitos. Beans and rice were very flavorful. Service was a bit slow. I'd come back to try the happy hour items but lunch was just ehhhhhh.
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
Quite possibly the worst Mexican food we have ever had. The guacamole was inedible. Chicken tacos had a meat on them that I am not sure if it was chicken or plastic. The "pollo" entree was chicken with a smear of sauce on it. Basically a chicken wing chicken breast. The kids chicken fingers we debated if the color of the chicken was yellow - it wasn't white. The service was there - that's about it.

Yelp
Tequila Jack's was very crowded on a Wednesday night. It appears to be a popular spot for the locals and tourists alike. That's OK though because the restaurant is large with ample seating for big groups. They also have a large outdoor seating area. You really can't beat the views. We were seated fairly quickly. I really enjoyed the blue lighting and artwork within the restaurant and outdoors. Our meals were served quickly. Our waiter provided top-notch service and checked on us several times throughout the meal, never forget forgetting to refill our drinks. The food was really good. We all enjoyed our dishes and there were four of us. I can't forget to mention the chips and salsa! We really enjoyed that and went through a few baskets. I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a place to try if you're in Long Beach. However, don't go here if you're looking for a quiet dinner where you can really have a deep conversation. It's a very loud restaurant.

Yelp
We came here with family for a late lunch. I got the veggie burrito and omg it was delicious!! My portion was very large and I could barely eat it all. Our waitress was friendly and kept checking in on us. Love the spot where the restaurant is located as you can walk around the village afterwards for shopping and taking pics or just enjoying the atmosphere by the water.

Yelp
Came here thinking it was yard house but was pleasantly surprised. They had happy hour when we came - didn't know it but I loved this place. The vibe was great, everyone was having a good time. We brought our dog. The pollo con mole was so delicious. I feel like everything was reasonably priced. The margarita was so good - and strong. I love!!! The salsa was also perfect. I want to go back
google avatar

Yelp
Love their happy hour. Great service. Food was good. I go everytime I'm in the area. Margaritas are really good.
google avatar

Yelp
Had a pretty good experience at this establishment. The hubster and I ordered appetizers before dinner. Often times we order appetizers then a meal and it ends up being too much food. Anyway we had chicken wings and potato skins they were honestly just average, nothing to write home to Mom about. However, the drinks were amazing, had the house margaritas and they were Amazing. I would recommend this place for drinks, the food was just average.
google avatar

Ernesto E.

Yelp
The only time I visit Tequila Jacks is during the week when it's the least busiest. The food and drinks are always decent. I'm definitely there for the restaurants atmosphere, more than the actual food.
google avatar

Jennifer L.

Yelp
I would give 3.5 stars overall. We were seated promptly on the outdoor patio when we arrived. Service was fairly quick for drinks. Food took a bit longer. I noticed many servers hustling. We asked ours for water 3 times and she never brought it so I asked another server who was passing by if we could get water and he brought some instantly. The drinks were awesome. I had the Long Beach Peach and it was so good. I actually had 2 of them. One friend got the happy hour margarita, another got a Peach margarita. Food was mediocre at best. Had a chicken quesadilla that had a ton of cheese but hardly any chicken. Friends said the guacamole was great. Chicken nachos were ok. Drinks are their shining point. Oh! We had potato skins that were on happy hour menu. I've never had blander potato skins in my life. They were only edible if you added salt.

M D.

Yelp
Came here for dinner while visiting the area. The food was quick and delicious. The server was very helpful and the environment nice. We really enjoyed the steak and shrimp fajitas as we had not had them in a very long time. Unfortunately, the tortillas were hard and cold.
google avatar

Ivette C.

Yelp
Best happy hour & dollar tacos on Tuesdays! $1.50 taco Tuesday after 3pm or so, the Carnitas tacos are the Best ones. The potatoe skins & taquitos from happy hour menu are my favorite
google avatar

Verna C.

Yelp
Tequila Jack's offers plenty of paid parking with a few hours of validation, which is convenient. We decided to give it a try since Yardhouse had a 45-minute wait. We did sit at the bar so we didn't have to wait and our server was great! We started with a Sangria and an IPA--both drinks were decent, but the food didn't match up, especially for the price. We ordered the combo choice plate with a beef taco and a Baja fish taco, but honestly, I've had better from taco trucks. The shrimp ceviche was a big letdown--there were only 2-3 small pieces of shrimp, and the rest was just filler. The atmosphere was a bit loud, but the patio with a marina view was a nice touch. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return for the food.
google avatar

Cassidy I.

Yelp
Given the options available in Shoreline Village for a decently priced meal, I'd definitely go to Tequila Jacks again! I got an appetizer quesadilla as my lunch and it was super filling. Our waiter was incredibly helpful, I believe his name was Rosario! He was one of the most personable and friendly waiters I've had at a restaurant in a long time. There is shaded outdoor seating with a marina view. You can see most of the Shoreline Village while seated outside as well! If you prefer indoor seating, it's dimly lit. If you bring your dog, you can sit outdoors. They also validate parking! There is still a fee with validated parking, but instead of $16 (the daily rate) we paid $2 after validation.

Yelp
Was in town for a conference, Tequila Jacks was across the street from the hotel we were staying at so decided to give it a try! I had the shrimp fajita salad and it was not quite what I expected. High pile of mixed greens with lots of grilled peppers, lots of cheese but the shrimp were small and there was not enough shrimp. Overall it was good and I liked the cilantro lime dressing that came with it. They play popular Latin music which I enjoyed. Service was good.

Kisa M.

Yelp
Very weird even leaving this review because this is usually such a cool stop for a quick bite and a drink. Yesterday i stopped by the cantina area. I sat down for about 15 mins before anyone even acknowledged me. When the server finally did i assumed it was just a busy hour and it wasn't a big issue. But then i sat there for another 10 and realized, i wasn't even offered water or chips and salsa. Actually no one ever came back. I eventually walked out. It was very weird because i love this place. But i won't be going back, made a post about it on my social media and everyone wants me to tag the restaurants name. But it still feels very odd to me that this would even happen here of all places lol very unfriendly happy hour. I encourage you guys to do better.

Yelp
First time dining here. Came to celebrate a birthday celebration for my friend & I. Place was packed but was seated quickly. No wait at all. Our server was very kind, & accommodating. She made sure we got everything we needed. She really took care of us tonight. The Complimentary Chips & Salsa was one of my favorites because of the salsa. The salsa had a little kick to it. Ordered the fish tacos. The plate looks appetizing, but when I took my first bite of the fish taco, it tasted try & bland. Couldn't really taste the flavor of the fish tacos. Fish tacos weren't seasoned very well. For drinks, I ordered a Strawberry & mango mocktails. It was absolutely delicious, wanted to go for another round. My friend had ordered the house margarita. The drinks here are on the bigger side & very affordable. Our server gave us on the house desserts to celebrate our birthdays which was really nice of her. She had brought us 2 Chocolate molten cakes which was delicious by the way. It was a chocolate cake with pudding in the center & topped off with vanilla bean ice cream. Good service & good ambiance. Please do not forget to get your ticket validated by your server. I paid a portion of $2.40 after validation for 2 hours.

Yelp
Loved everything about this place! The food, drinks, friendly service, ambience and of course the location. I'm definitely returning for more. The prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
I came here shortly after arriving into town. I was hungry and found this place on Yelp! They have a lunch menu and I ordered from that menu. I ordered the Chorizo con Huevos, and the chips and salsa were complimentary. The salsa was spicy, and I love spicy food! The chorizo was dry and had a burnt taste to it. The rice was a bit bland and needed more flavoring. I was hungry, and didn't want to send it back. The service was good and the ambiance was excellent! Our server made sure I had everything I needed, and the restaurant overlooks the boats in the marina. I would try to come back and check out another dish when I am in the area next time!
google avatar

Angie P.

Yelp
The two pork sliders are bbq flavor and were good I would recommend from the happy hour menu. I also had the asada taco for Taco Tuesday but it was too cold not the best.
google avatar

Vita H.

Yelp
It's Tuesday and where are you going to go? Why Tequila Jacks on shoreline of course. Walked three miles at the beach and ended the adventure at Tequila's Jack. Been here multiple times for tacos Tuesdays. The service is good just depends on how many people they are attending to. Good ambience. Now every time I come here the margaritas does not disappoint. The fish tacos maybe a hit or miss but the carnitas, carna asada and chicken tacos was juicy and flavorful. This time around the bean and cheese nachos were ok.
google avatar

Maritza R.

Yelp
I have been here in ages but the quality has subsided. Poor service and cold food are to blame for that. Came here for taco Tuesday a local favorite but this place left a bad taste in my mouth. We arrived and asked to be settled outside, the host quoted us 45 minutes. Which was fine with us and we proceeded to the bar to grab drinks while we waited for our table to be ready. As soon as I took the first drink of my beer, they were ready to seat us. We had to carry our beers form the bar to our table. The inaccurate wait time should have been a sign. I can understand 15 minute difference but the quote 45 minutes and be seated in less than 5 is a joke. We had a male waiter come up and said he was going to be helping us and never came back and then another waiter ended up taking us. Three stars because the queso fundido was tasty and the chorizo gave it great flavor. Although it didn't come with any sauce and was a little cold. Tacos lacked flavor, the best one was the carnitas taco that tasted like salt. The carne asada taco was not asada just a fatty lean cut of bistec. The ambiance was lacking. It was a beautiful day out but the restaurant didn't feel like a vibe. Lastly, I asked for green sauce for my tacos and I was charged $2.50 for green sauce. Isn't it customary to provide salsa for tacos? Seems like they are nickel and dimming here. $2.50 for seems a little excessive but the worst part was that it was brought out when I had practically finished my tacos. I was on the last bite of my last taco. So the sauce stayed on the table, gone to waste. Also, they must have changed the keg and what should have been a cold beer was room temperature beer in a cold glass for our second round. Overall there are much better taco Tuesday places around with tacos that are full of flavor, not fat.
google avatar

Kevin B.

Yelp
Tequila Jacks was cool. We stopped here for lunch yesterday, and it was awesome. I tried their fish tacos, and they were ok. Just needed a bit more flavor. Place was nice with a good view on the beach. Nice waiters that help us with our seating and food. I'd come back again.
google avatar

Cecilia R.

Yelp
Food was decent. Service was great! And the ambiance was nice for a Tuesday evening.
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
Another Taco Tuesday that I couldn't pass up! $1.50 tacos is definitely quite the steal nowadays. I got the Baja Fish & Asada Tacos and Buffalo Wings with a 20 oz House Margarita Rocks. The drink was part of their drink specials for the day and boy were they big and the right amount of strong haha. The Complimentary Chips & Salsa was one of my favorites because of the salsa. It had a little spice kick to it and I loved putting that onto my tacos for extra flavor. I thought my fish taco tasted good, but the asada tacos were definitely my least favorite. Not only was it dry, it was spicy to where I couldn't really taste the asada. It was like the spice was the only flavor and the asada wasn't seasoned at all. The wings were a given that it would be amazing. Perfectly sauced; I just wish they also gave out veggie sticks. I wouldn't mind coming back here to eat, drink, and chill with my friends. Keep in mind the parking spot and to get your ticket validated by your server. I still had to pay a portion of it even after validation, but it was only a few bucks.
google avatar

Jasmin H.

Yelp
Great Combination plates. Waiters were friendly and checked in frequently. I would definitely recommend sitting outside for the view of the Marina and lighthouse. They also got great value happy hours including a late night one.
google avatar

Weston H.

Yelp
Only two items on the menu were 'gluten free', the house salad without croutons and the pork carnitas. Their house fried tortilla chips could have been gd but were cross contaminated because they don't have a separate frier. Meaning no appetizers for the 30+ minute wait. Their lime and cilantro dressing supposedly had wheat, and they were unable to verify leaving just regular buffet line dressings to choose from. For having Mexican cuisine, which is normally gluten free to start, there is a whole lot of filler being used. Making an accessible cuisine into an almost entirely inaccessible place to eat if you have a food allergy. Service was good albeit slow. The food itself was pretty good, but considering there were two options I wish it would have been better. Especially regarding the spice, and depth of flavor.
google avatar

Agustin R.

Yelp
First time here and I was very impressed the service and food was good. We checked in for a party of 4 and for it being a Friday we got sat down in about 30 min and they right away took our drink order and food order also and we got our food really fast and we kept ordering drinks and kept getting them fast also so I like I said the service was really good make sure to check them out
google avatar

Melissa P.

Yelp
The location has so much potential. Harbor views if you set outside. With great ocean breezes. The food and my drink left a lot to be desired. The salsa with the chips and salsa was honesty the best part of my dinner. My cheese dip wasn't even melted and was basic clumps of cheese with massive amounts of grease and stale chips. My burrito had almost no flavor at all, I expected at least some flavor with the green chilies sauce, but only had good flavor when I coated it with the chips salsa. Had a mango margarita, it was ok but not worth the $$ I paid for it. My first server was great, transitioned to another one right after my order and really only saw her 2 more times. The 2nd time I had to have another server find her for me so I could pay. Overall next time I visit I wouldn't pick them destination to eat at again.

Yelp
The food was AMAZING and the service from Brianna was the best we have ever received from that place. She was attentive, made us feel comfortable and checked on us constantly.

Yelp
Last night My Husband and I decided to go out for some Mexican food and we ended up at tequila Jack's. The food was delicious. The ambience was amazing and our server Victor was pretty damn awesome.

Yelp
First time here and it was last minute... but what a great decision. We were looking for a restaurant on the water. We were originally going to another one, but the wait was over 40 minutes. So glad it was..... our daughter went over to TJ's and came back saying they've got a table. It was on their patio overlooking the water. Our server, I believe her name was Naya, introduced herself and took our drink orders. We started with the queso fundido, prepared excellent. Their chips & salsa were also spot on. My husband and I split the Surf & Turf fajitas. Plenty to share and all delicious. Our daughter had the carne asada which she enjoyed. We paired everything with skinny margaritas which were also delicious. Great service, delicious food and awesome atmosphere, highly recommend trying out on your visit to Long Beach. We will definitely be back.

Melisa H.

Yelp
This place is absolutely scam artist nation these people advertise a happy hour 9-closing and then charge you double for not sitting behind a specific wall. We drove from Los Angeles because of the wild fires we lost our home. They told us they did not care and told us in a nasty way as well. We just asked for what we saw on the menu. Horrible place don't waste time here.

Yelp
Tequila Jack's is one of two waterfront restaurants that offers patio dining with a spectacular view of the sunset and lighthouse. It is recommended to make reservations for the patio seating. However, if you prefer immediate seating, you can check the bar just like we did. I absolutely loved the house chips and salsa. The sauce had the perfect balance of kick and sweetness. The service was attentive as I asked for a sepearte salsa and the server brought the salsa along with an additonal bowl of chips. What I ordered: CARNE ASADA FIESTA BOWL (Mixed greens with sautéed red and green bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and Monterey Jack cheese) which came in a giant tortilla bowl filled to the top with greens and protein. Although I couldn't finish the colossal meal at the time, it was only a few bites away from completion. Unfortunately, I eventually had to give up and throw in the towel.

Yelp
I haven't eaten here in quite some time, I kind of forgot about it... My friend and I did a girls day yesterday and ended up here for lunch. They serve complimentary chips and salsa. They were both really good. The chips were light and crispy. There is a lunch menu (forgot to take a pic) with several options for $13.50. I believe all of them came with beans and rice. I got 2 taquitos. They were beef. Good choice and I would get them again. I definitely want to go back sooner rather than later to check out the happy hour!

Yelp
Our second visit to Tequila Jack's, this time for an early lunch while waiting for the gates to the Coastal County Jam to open up. My wife had the chicken nachos which were far more than one person could handle. I had the chicken quesadilla which was also large and very good. We love sitting outside and people watching every time we're in town, great views and tge Queen Mary out back. California normal pricing and definitely worth a try if you have never been there.

Yelp
2 of us came in on a Friday at 5:15pm & sat at the bar for happy hour. The bartender was chill & attentive. We got the $8 happy hour margarita & 4 of the $6 apps. Mixed the soft tacos - 1 chicken & 1 carne asada, buffalo wings, mini chimichangas, & bean & cheese nachos w/out sour cream. Very impressed with the portions & price! Also, a ton of variety, never seen mini chimichangas. Not a local, but if I was, I'd be back!

Yelp
I visited Tequila Jacks last night, and while the service from the bartender was pleasant throughout the evening, my experience took a disturbing turn after I finished my meal. I noticed a small roach crawling across the area where food comes out from the kitchen. I immediately flagged down the bartender to let him know. Unfortunately, his response was underwhelming. He didn't apologize for the situation, nor did he offer to grab a manager to address my concerns. Instead, he simply thanked me for letting him know and moved on. It's unsettling to see pests in an area so close to where food is served, and the lack of a more proactive response from the staff left me disappointed. Cleanliness and customer care are crucial, and I hope the management takes steps to address these issues.

Yelp
The food is extremely bland. Service is alright. The atmosphere and view is nice being on the pier, pretty much the only reason I gave the stars I did above 1, not worth the price.
