"Taste Test Tequila Visitors who come to Tequila to eat—it is a restaurant, after all—won't be disappointed. With caught-the-same-day seafood and beef, poultry, and vegetables sourced from Mexico , the menu offers plenty of delicious dishes, including a grilled seafood platter with shrimp, scallops, and octopus. But those in the know also visit Tequila to imbibe the spirit after which it's named; the restaurant has a bar stocked with more than 50 different kinds of tequila and bartenders are more than willing to tell you about the similarities and differences among them all. The backdrop for all this is an oversized patio surrounded by fruit trees and the chef's herb garden. Smokers can take a turn through the walk-in humidor, featuring Cuban cigars that are impossible to get back in the United States but are perfectly legal in Mexico."

Excellent food and wonderful ambiance. Love the 100+ yr old tree accented basket lanterns. Lighted agave plants and exposed walls. They surprised us with a little tasting of tortilla soup before our main meal came out. A nice touch. Food sourced from a nearby farm. We chatted with the owner and you could see his passion for creating a great experience for his patrons. Highly recommend!

Unique find just off the plaza. Great food and romantic atmosphere. Garden feel for outdoor dining. Service was a little slow but did not take away from the overall experience. Options for vegetarians and meat eaters both

I stumbled upon this restaurant in the heart of San José and everything about this restaurant was great! The food was delicious and I loved the atmosphere! I shared the shrimp bomb appetizer which is a wonton stuffed with shrimp and cheese over a black beans drizzled with a chipotle cream. I also shared the Caesar salad with a friend which was different from any other Caesar I’ve tried before the romaine was grilled! ordered the Mexican sampler which came with green chicken enchiladas, chile relleno filled with cheese and lastly beef fajita meat with rice. My favorite part of the dish was the green enchiladas!

Beautiful place for dinner in San Jose! We went with a group of 8, we were quickly greeted by our friendly server Francisco who easily accommodated gluten free and vegan preferences. We dined in an intimate, lantern-lit court yard beneath guava trees. Menu standouts included the sashimi and the garlic shrimp, but everything we tried was delicious!

Beautiful restaurant with outdoor seating. The wait staff was excellent very courteous, and they had a gentleman come in to play the guitar and sing happy birthday for the birthday girl! Our group of 8 were very pleased with our drinks and meals, we had a great time!!

Really pretty garden seating area and great service. The ceviche was a bit fishy but everything else was great. They have some nice cocktails and of course have tequila flights. The guy was really knowledgeable about tequila which was awesome. Overall a decent restaurant and I would return.

Hands down, one of the most amazing restaurants in San Jose del Cabo. We went earlier in the evening and had the place to ourselves. I was like eating in a secret garden. The food and team were absolutely outstanding. I highly recommend this place!

They don't make guacamole. Hence almost lost of a star. Because how can you have amazing grilled octopus and no guacamole? Definitely order the octopus.
Also, order the sampler platter. Everything on it is 💯 delicious and gives you three tasty tours of Cabo.
