Google
Fun spot to grab drinks, some food and hang out. Went here twice during our stay in Denver. Staff are great. Sociable, friendly and knowledgeable. The bar and seating around Union Station is plentiful and comfortable. We also ordered the crab dip and the crispy goat cheese. Amazing flavors. The pistachio in the goat cheese was a perfect textural element. The crab dip is served with Ritz Crackers bringing back a nostalgic feel. This is exceptional "bar food." Pear cider was also well balanced and a hit. 100% would (and did) go back.

Google
BAR REVIEW. Chill spot to grab a drink while hanging around Union Station! We sat inside by the bar, but there is seating outside in the atrium area where you can order by the bar window. Bartender was super cool—our cocktails were good. Didn’t get to try the food.

Google
Terminal Bar in Denver Union Station is a hidden gem. It is in the historic Denver train station, which has been expertly restored. The Terminal Bar is absolutely the best eatery and source for libations in the terminal. The staff at the Terminal Bar are friendly, helpful and attentive. The bartenders are craftsmen in their field. The dining area is clean and well-maintained. The food is extremely delicious. I definitely recommend Union Station Terminal Bar.

Google
We arrived for Happy Hour and we got the cornbread pimento cheese pickles, it is really spicey and hot. I lie hot bites but it was a little too potent for my wife. The drinks were great and the service, Naomi, was great.

Google
We visited Denver in May 2025. Lucky for us, our hotel room wasn’t ready (Crawford Hotel) but Terminal Bar was. We grabbed a couple drinks and a bite to eat at the bar. We ordered a few local beers and the crispy potatoes, all delicious. Then we started chatting with Heather, the bartender, we totally adored her. She was fun and helpful, going above and beyond by creating a perfect itinerary for our first visit to Denver. Her recommendations changed our trip for the better. We were glad our room wasn’t ready, this ended up being the perfect place to stop by at the beginning of our weekend trip so we closed out our trip there on Sunday, too. Cheers Terminal - great place, fun times!🍻 Pros n cons: Fantastic location: Located inside Union Station. The whole area was filled with a buzzy vibe that spilled into Terminal as well. Great design: Loved the decor - moody and dark‘ish. Wonderful staff: The people behind the bar were delightful, welcoming and easy to talk to. Deep drink selection: Lots of local beers and fun cocktails. Con: Be prepared for Terminal to add 8% to every check - in addition to your standard 20% tip. 3% goes to “ Union Station Historic Preservation Fee” and an additional 5% “that ensures our hard-working, non-tipped employees also earn a living wage”.

Google
This is a great bar in the Denver Union station. Great atmosphere, majestic building architecture and the ambience. Very well maintained and a good choice of draft beers and other drinks. Food choice is also excellent.

Google
I was part of a group that had some drinks and light appetizers. This is a nice place to hang out once I asked them to turn the music down in the speaker that was right next to my head. 😅 The food was decent, and the people with me enjoyed their drinks. I'd say the only real problem with this place is the fact that the washroom is on the other side of the building, there's only one (a single person room), and the door has a code. So it's not exactly the easiest thing.

Google
Cocktails were good and the building itself is cool but expected it to be livelier in the evening. Most of the businesses were closed except for the Terminal Bar which ended up being a nice place for a quiet drink.

Yelp
Really impressed with place. I think I've previously written it off as an option because similar to an airport bar, you'd expect to be over charged and let down, not the case here! Our server was sweet and attentive and helped us secure some blue cheese olives with our martinis. For $12, I was very pleased with the drinkability and throughly enjoyed it. For food I spit an order of their steak frites. Another hit. Steak and fries are admittedly some of my favorite foods, but the pickled onions and seasoning on the fries kept it delicious down to the last bite.

Yelp
Terminal Bar in #Denver Union Station. Queso con Chorizo: chihuahua cheese, white american cheese, pueblo chiles, chimichurri, served with tortilla chips and salsa verde. Delicious. #Pozole Verde with roasted poblano pepper, chicken & hominy, garnished with crema, cabbage, and lime. Excellent. Atmosphere top notch. Staff friendly. A great experience.

Yelp
Dude, I've lived here my entire life; these transplants think they're so fucking hip bc they read a book once and made a Manhattan once in NY. Like, aww sad, you couldn't hack in the West Village? boohoo don't take your misery out on the locals: we hate your life too buddy.

Gary S.

Yelp
Until recently this was a wonderful place to drink beer, but they have changed the beer list and made it much less distinctive. It used to have only Colorado micro-brews. No more. Not that other state's don't have good beer, but this was a truly excellent selection of Colorado's finest. Last night I could not even find a hazy IPA on the menu. The Hefeweizen was not a real Hefe; no foam; too sweet; and it was $9. I used to extoll the Terminal Bar to my friends and acquaintances. Won't do that again with the current approach.
google avatar

Yelp
Best French 75 in town. Come for the historic charm, people watching and amazing new menu selection. The drinks are delicious too!

Yelp
Awesome bar located in the Denver train station! Definitely worth going to if you are in this area or waiting for a train They have a nice beer and drink selection With regards to their food, it is absolutely worth trying. Collectively we had the chicken tenders, ribs, and birria tacos and all of them were delicious and would easily order each of them again. They are also well priced. The service is also great, were very nice and made our time very enjoyable Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back when in the area

Yelp
Service was fast. Super cool vibey interior. Got a few drinks before our shuttle to Steamboat. Grabbed a bite to eat also. Barbacoa fries! Get the meat on the side so the fries won't get soggy. But overall tasty! I would also ask for more sauce on the side cause it's so good! Green hatch smashed burger- double patties but definitely not smashed like how I would like. Super filling. Good burger. I got their blackberry cocktail and that gave me a good buzz before the trip! Night cap hopefully!

Yelp
Great location as you get off of are waiting for the train. Staff is friendly and helpful , loved the ambiance and would definitely recommend stopping in for a beverage!

Yelp
Inside the union station you will find this dark hidden in the center bar. You may pass it a few times but its presence is known. You'll come into large seats and a fully stocked bar. Welcome to the terminal. Our host was Logan who definitely gave us the dunk and did run down. This was our last stop before heading back once again home. The drink selection was very nice however I opted on food after already on a 3 day binge. The place like I said is very dark. The seats are comfortable, the bartenders definitely know their stuff but I was more shocked on the food. The barbacoa fries.... Man oh man I was not expecting that! Piled high of cheese, meat, sour cream, jalapeños, just packed full of stuff and that alone was needed for a cool day after going place to place.
google avatar

Patrick S.

Yelp
Very cool place to sit down and have a drink. We really like the options for mixed drinks and beer. Services is really great. The bartenders are really nice. We definitely sit here and have a drink again.

Yelp
Love this bar! Great place, great drink menu and unique, fun place to socialize. Highly recommend for wonderful cocktails and experience!

Yelp
Stopped in to just look around and we heard music. This is what happened. A beer for him and a spicy margarita for me. Followed by the derailed . To this we added pozole and tostadas. Great vibe, drinks, food and music.

Yelp
This spot is great when it's good and just ok when it's not. The service is little to be admired, but the drinks make up for it. It's a hopping spot so you have to bide your time for a table. At Christmas these however are our favorite decorations which is why we end up here. My preference is to grab a drink at the window in the main area, and stand at a table out there.

Yelp
This was my first stop after arriving in Denver on my Pack Up and Go trip and getting settled at my hotel at the Dairy Block. It was a drizzly chilly afternoon and I wanted to check out beautiful Union Station and grab a bite and a drink for the afternoon. The bar is gorgeous and classy. It's everything you think of if you're thinking old school train bar. I sat at the bar and loved that there were windows out into the train station so you could see what was going on. Not too much hustle and bustle but it was November so they were working on setting up the Xmas tree! They had quite a few fancy cocktail options so I tried a few - first the standard Wynkoop which the bartender recommended, and then the plum drink which was so different than the first - they were both delicious. I also got some ceviche to snack on since I hadn't had a full lunch but didn't want to spoil dinner. It was such a great option for a snack to hold me over but not fill me up, and the fish was fresh and yummy! This spot is def a little on the expensive side but that's to be expected for their location and offering. The rest of their menu looked really good too. Great option in the Union Station neighborhood!

Yelp
Such a fun location in Union Station! We had seats outside of tge bar in the picnic like table area. What a fun vibe with the hustle & bustle of people & trains. Just 1 drink but the mixed drinks especially the bees knees was quite a hit!
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped here for drinks and appetizers while checking our union station. Pretty cool bar, and atmosphere was chill.
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
This bar with lots of ambiance and charm is located inside the Union Station building, You can see the bright Terminal Marquee from almost anywhere you are on the first floor of Union Station. My husband and I got a beer and the decor, full of dark woods and period furniture was really nice and cozy. The bartenders were very attentive and they were always ready to see if we needed anything else. The bar also serves food, with many tables getting the fries...they looked great. We loved the menu/signage on top of the bar with the wines and beer choices...very cool looking.....

Yelp
Stopped in for happy hour. The service was good and fast. They were busy but it wasn't too loud.

Matt D.

Yelp
Terrible bar service. Dismissive and rude bartender. Advice from a retired couple with plenty of money to spend: tell your barkeeps to greet every customer that approaches the bar with respect and gratitude. Your employee discouraged our patronage with his arrogant attitude. We left without spending a dime. Good luck!

Cullen L.

Yelp
Good place to grab something quick. We had excellent service from Logan! She went out of her way to make sure my family was taken care of.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place! We discovered this place while waiting for a table at the pop up bar on the lower level. We loved the drinks out here and we ended up ordering from the midnight food menu. Service was very good, our server was very attentive and had some good recommendations. I will be back again to try food and other cocktails here.

Yelp
Came in today before a Rockies game. Place was fairly empty. My husband and I sat at the bar. We sat, and sat, and sat. Bartender filled her water bottle. Talked to what seemed to be a manager, not sure. We sat. And sat. Right in front of them. No acknowledgement, no eye contact. Are we invisible? They could not be bothered to do any semblance of their job. We left after about 7 minutes of sitting RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. I said to her after we gave up and left, that we had had ZERO acknowledgement after 5+ minutes. She looked shocked and mumbled I'm sorry. Pathetic. We sat down right in front of you!!!! You all aren't suited to receive your paychecks. We walked next door and had wonderful customer service and food next door at Ultreia. Night and day experience. What in the holy heck is going on at the Terminal Bar? Do not recommend.
google avatar

Lydia P.

Yelp
Service was awesome! Our waitress was great! We got a seat pretty quick in a booth. Only had a few beers and onion rings which were delicious. I really like the ambiance in there, it was kinda moody but really nice. Love that it's inside union station.
google avatar

Yelp
New York has completely ruined train stations for me, as Denver boasted a pretty neat, organized yet bustling scene with a pretty neat cocktail bar right in the center. This marked the first time we tried a southside cocktail and it did not disappoint, a must chill spot after a long night out with friends.
google avatar

Yelp
As a local I came for my birthday, and absolutely regret it. What a waste of time and money. The staff was ill prepared and inexperienced. It's clear this bar supports Trump and doesn't want your money if you don't support Trump.
google avatar

Danielle F.

Yelp
Amazing drinks! Bartenders are amazing & friendly & are great at their work, 10/10 recommend but be prepared to spend some good money on their drinks, totally worth it though. For the drink pictured, old fashion was $25 but absolutely great.
google avatar

Amy H.

Yelp
We came here for happy hour and despite the happy hour drink menu being very limited on drink options the nachos were amazing. Each nacho had all the fixings on it and were made perfectly. We will be back for the nachos
google avatar

Lill G.

Yelp
Waiting for my friend to fly in from LA and I stopped to have a drink at the bar @ 10. All of a sudden a cockroach runs on top of the bar. I tried to catch it to kill it. The bartender killed it and trashed it. There was no apology or explanation. I doubt I will ever go back. Good thing I didn't order any food. Gross!
google avatar

Yelp
Bottom Line: Located inside Union Station with awesome decor but service is inconsistent. My husband and I visited the Terminal Bar twice while staying at The Crawford Hotel. Friday night our experience was amazing so we returned on Saturday afternoon but we never got served. I thought maybe we needed to order at the bar so I politely asked the bartender if that was the protocol and he said the server would come to us. The server then bussed the tables on either side of us but never came to our table although we patiently waited about 15 minutes. After a bit of a debate we left. I think they were short staffed and really just didn't feel like waiting on tables and preferred to serve walk ups to the bar/window in the terminal. So a cool spot but service is a hit or miss.

Yelp
Step one: Land at Denver Airport Step two: Realize how far the airport actually is from the city and decide that a $10 train ride is a way better deal than a $40 ride share. Step 3: Breeze into Union Station 30 mins later with your friends awaiting your arrival at Terminal Bar Step 4: Have a great time sipping delicious cocktails with your suitcase in tow as you take in the all the people watching a train station has to offer Welcome to Denver
google avatar

Emina S.

Yelp
Sure it's a bar in a bus station but really, it's so much more! Weekends are probably pretty hectic but if you're looking for a chill vibe, lots of comfy seating, and possiblly some people watching on a weekday (we were here around 9pm-10pm Monday night,) then this is just the place to grab a drink or two. Many local beers on tap, great assortment of cocktails, few different wine options as well. Didn't try any food but menu looks like it has above-average bar food and something for every taste. Happy Hour: Monday through Friday -- 4pm - 6pm * Select Draught Beer for $5.50 (reg. $7-10) * House Wines for $7.50 (reg. $8.50-$9.00) * Well Spirits for $7 (unsure of regular prices) * Select Classic Cocktails for $9 (reg. $11-$13) Highly recommend the Golden City Brewery Guava Sour if available!

Yelp
Had a holiday work event here. It's nice that they have a walk up window or you can choose to sit inside the seating is open so great for meeting a group. The bar was extremely busy and clearly needed some extra servers since it took almost 20 minutes to get a drink but understandable since there seemed to be a few holiday gatherings occurring. Our waiter was nice and got us everything we ordered. He even transferred our check from inside to our new table for us.
google avatar

Heather H.

Yelp
A group of 5 of us ended up here because the restaurant we wanted to go to had a 40min wait. While we were waiting we ordered some appetizers that were so good we regretted putting our name down at the other place. Cutest bar kind of reminded me of being in Harry Potter land. We definitely want to come back to enjoy more than just the appetizers

Yelp
The Terminal Bar is one of those bars my coworkers and I tend to hit up when we're looking to grab HH downtown. It's not too far from our office and it's pretty reliable. The drinks are always good, albeit a little pricey though. I ordered a French 75 since it tends to be one of my go-to drinks. It was good! The service took a while since it was a slower evening. One person in our party waited like 15 minutes for his drink, which was unfortunate since everyone else had gotten their drinks quickly. They truly can make any drink you could imagine though, and thye'll do it well. I have also been during their HH hours, and they have a few different things from their normal menu. Overall, highly recommended if you're in the area looking for a place to get a cocktail.

Yelp
Came in late (10:30) after arriving on a late flight from Vegas. Ended up just sneaking in an order at last call for the kitchen. Bar is inside Union Station and a pretty cool setting. Place was jumpin when we got here. Servers were super helpful in getting our order in, even though chicken wings were out. Shared a meal with the kiddo as it was late - ordered the burger with sweet potato fries, and a side of queso dip (sub for the chicken wings). Washed it all down with an old fashioned. Drink was delicious. Big ice cube, decent orange bitters, and a sweet tang to the glass filled with Makers. Paired nicely with the fatty, smashed double cheeseburger. Burger and fries were good. Tasty mostly because we were starving, more or less Yard House stuff; nothing to write home about. Queso chips were overly salty, but edible. Still, definitely come for the drinks and atmosphere!

Yelp
Having made my way to Terminal Bar on at least three occasions now, I can give them a solid 4 out of 5 stars on the ol' Yelp-o-Matic. What I like: ++ The selection of creative craft cocktails is chef's kiss delicious! ++ The variety of Colorado craft brews is pretty damn impressive. ++ The ability to grab a beer at the walk'up window is really convenient when you're looking for a more casual experience. ++ Bartenders have always be friendly and made great conversation with myself and my fellow guests, even entertaining my husband with a laugh at his terrible dad-esque jokes. ++ The location is absolutely a vibe. What I don't like: -- There is an automatic gratuity that they fail to tell you about most of the time, and I forget about it more often than not. -- Prices are undoubtedly steep. A draft beer costs anywhere from $6 to $9 depending on the pour; with most brews coming in on the higher end of that price range. The craft cocktails are delicious, but will run you $11 - $15. Yikes! Terminal Bar is a solid stop when you find yourself needing to kill some time in Union Station. Cheers, Denver! **Pro Tip: If you can plan your visit accordingly they do offer a week day Happy Hour from 4pm to 6pm that includes select draft beers, cocktails, house wines, and well spirits.

David K.

Yelp
I've had good times here in the past, but after tonight, I will never go back. Three bartenders...I got a beer, and nobody ever talked to me again. Bartender who closed me out didn't even acknowledge me. Do better

Yelp
If I had my way when going out to dinner, I would choose 3 different restaurants for the evening - one for the appetizer, one for the mains and one for dessert. I don't score this "gastronomic trifecta" often. However, the daily double is more attainable, and I achieve this prize on a periodic basis. In this case, it would be two restaurants for the night. As such, I scored again in Denver, where I came to the Terminal Bar at Denver Union Station to have dessert after having the main dinner course elsewhere. The Terminal Bar is located inside the Denver Union Station and is the majestic and main eye catcher amongst the other establishments. It is also located in a commanding area of the grand hall. The dessert menu at the Terminal Bar has only two items. That was okay with me, because they had one of my favorite deserts - the Molten Lava Cake. I had it with vanilla ice cream (this comes from the adjacent Milkbox creamery in the same building). The molten lava cake itself was very different. The outside had a perfectly crafted and fragrant brownie crust with a moist inside of uneven lava. More dark chocolate and cream was designed to be outside the cake to make a simple but dramatic presentation. The vanilla ice cream came separated in a bowl. Eating all these elements together wrang all the happy sensory bells and whistles for the culinary senses. A grand finale to my memorable last few hours in Denver.

Yelp
Wow, some of the best food and drinks I've ever had at the hotel I'm staying at. I got a steak salad and it was SO fresh and well made. I ordered a glass of sparkling wine, and their selections were great. We decided to go here on a whim and a slight discount, and it ended up being one of the best meals. Pro tip: if it's busy and there is no seating, do not be afraid to sit at the bar. The bartenders are super nice and I think it was quicker.
google avatar

Pita S.

Yelp
Friendly Bartender and Bar Back made our experience well worth the stop. Enjoyed sitting at the bar and I had the Italicus Sprtiz and my husband had a Mai Tai followed by a Bloody Mary. Breakfast of the champions!
google avatar

Stephanie I.

Yelp
Nice vibe. The history and style is just so pretty. So many local beers on tap which is nice. I'm visiting and I loved trying new beers while in Colorado! Would totally recommend while hanging in union station!

Yelp
This establishment is inside of Union Station. The decor is period inspired, something like the 1930s? with lots of dark wood and swanky. TVs to watch the game. I met a friend here for a drink and had some appetizers. The chicken wings were above average and notably enjoyable for me. The ample serving of lightly battered fries were a bargain for $3?. I also had a small side salad which was well prepared and acceptable. My friend got the Blondie ala mode -- which I thought was outstanding. Service was friendly and efficient. No complaints. In summary, Food 4/5 Service 4/5 Ambiance 4.5/5 (bustling and deliberately noisy) Prices 3.5/5 Portion Size 3.5/5 Bang for the Buck 4/5 Great place for a meeting your business colleagues or even a first date, perhaps... If it goes bad, you can quickly bail by "going to the bathroom" (which is a shared facility with the entire train station) and catch the first train or bus outtaaaa there.
google avatar

Mark T W.

Yelp
Food was well-prepared but expensive. Complete bar with creative cocktails. Service was mixed, some attentive and helpful. Others distracted. The QR ordering would be dazzling if it worked, but it was plagued by WiFi connection problems. I was able to convince the application that was human. Maybe that's my problem. Stunning setting in a renovated Glided Age train station. This place needs work on the basics of being a restaurant.
google avatar

Glenn G.

Yelp
This bar was in the Denver Union Station and our hotel stay included two drinks (from a select menu) from this bar. It was always lively and had plenty of patrons. We could only use our drink vouchers at a certain time so we lined up at the back window facing the interior and ordered two beers (we always like to try local breweries if we can). Service was efficient, we enjoyed our beers, returned the glasses and headed on to dinner.
google avatar

Jessica N.

Yelp
Just your typical airport bar food. The staff was friendly and the food came out fast, which is all I cared for in the moment.
google avatar

Amanda F.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped here for a drink and an appetizer. I ordered the C squared Ella Tropical Hopped cider. It was okay and not my favorite. My husband ordered the spiced strawberry Collins. It was really good. We ordered the holy guacamole without cheese. You get a lot of guacamole and it was very tasty. Overall plenty of seating. You can grab seats inside or in the common main area. Definitely recommend grabbing a drink here as it is central to other bars and restaurants.
google avatar

Katelin M.

Yelp
Really cool ambiance with the train station right there. Had a great spread of interesting cocktails. Was opened late and easily accessible without the sloppy crowds of other places opened late. I enjoyed the "pardon my French" cocktail.
google avatar

Keanna M.

Yelp
Came in with my husband and in-laws after walking around Union Station. I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary, my husband ordered a French 75, and my father in law ordered a Pilsner. The spicy Bloody Mary was lackluster. The flavor was just okay, but it didn't come with any garnishes at all. I love Bloody Mary's and order them often, so I was surprised that it didn't even come with a lime or anything. The French 75 was a bit too sweet, but it was pretty and refreshing. The actual bar is really stylish and has cool decor. Lots of booths and bar seating.

Yelp
Two good things to say, one not so good, so judge as you see fit .. Good 1: great ambiance both inside the bar and within Union Station ... beautiful spot. Good 2: our server, she was excellent. Attentive, upbeat, made recommendations. NOT so good 1: we ordered the roasted Brussels sprouts, based on the picture from the website and the menu description (see pics). Which shows a plate full of actual HALF Brussel sprouts. What did we get? 4 actual half Brussel sprouts ... and a plate full of of crispy individual leaves. Very. Very. Disappointing.
