Terra & Vine

Sit outside if the weather is nice! Also a great bar area. Would recommend everything we had - meatball primi, skirt steak, Mediterranean salad and shrimp pasta.

My wife and I came here to celebrate our 18 year wedding anniversary. The food and the service was wonderful. I ordered the Fettuccine Bolanaise and my wife ordered the Grilled Salmon. We chose to dine in their outdoor patio since it was a usually warm September day. The restaurant is very convenient located near downtown Evanston. Street parking was not a problem It was very close to Terra and Vine. Highly recommended for good Italian cuisine !

Good Italian food, nice vibe; short, but complex enough menu to find something for any taste. I choose to try 4 appetizers and 2 entres. All were good. The steak on the menu was cooked right, while the short ribs were juicy and very tender. Pizza was ok, mussels a little too salty, but otherwise flavorful, the eggplant had just a little bit too much cheese and the octopus was was probably short cook a few seconds.

Ate here on a Friday evening around 7:30pm. It was a nice night out so we asked to sit on the patio, and it was a 15min wait. We gave our phone number, walked around the block, and in about 15min they sent us a text. Overall meal was delicious. I would recommend an appetizer as it took ~1hr for the food to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait.

Terra & Vine did a great job remodeling the restaurant. We ate there Saturday night and Alpana Singh was there the whole night working her butt off. She was talking to the patrons, taking pictures, and even cleaning off tables. We had a Margarita Pizza, which was great, and homemade pasta, also very good. Great location and a big bar area. We will definitely be coming back soon.

The wine was very good and potent but I haven't heard good things about the food.

We enjoyed this experience. Dining outdoors on the expansive patio was a treat. I enjoyed a lovely shrimp linguine, while others in our party had salad, pizza and more. The pizza was especially tasty, as was a Brussels sprouts appetizer. We look forward to return visit!

Update 10-23: The owner of the restaurant contacted me to let me know that it in face was available but the ones working that night were incorrect. I was invited back with their full compliments and I decided to give it another try. I was able to try the Presto menu. For the advertised price, the selections are great and a great value. I would recommend it to anyone. The dish that I and my wife had were excellent. I will be returning again. I recommend the Amish Chicken and the short ribs. Both dishes are very tasty. Original review: Food was good but it seems the restaurant wants to mislead people. On a Sunday I tried to order their Presto menu and told it was not available on Sunday. When I pointed out that the sign says otherwise, I was told sorry, not available. A restaurant that would actually care about it's reputation would have still allowed me to order from that menu since they are the ones who messed up. Either that or the staff lied to me.
