I truly love this place! Every visit feels special. The quality of the meat is outstanding, and the steak was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavour. Atmosphere is elegant, warm, and sophisticated. The service is attentive and welcoming, which always makes the experience more enjoyable. This restaurant has definitely become one of my favorite spots, and I will absolutely be coming back again for family dinners and special evenings with friends. Love this place!

Terra e Mare was a dismal dinning event on Valentines Day. It was a pre-fix menu. I picked the Wagyu Rib Eye steak, medium rare, Broccolini, and Mashed Potatoes. The steak was not Wagyu, was not a Ribeye, I'm not sure what cut it was maybe Sirloin. It was tough, over cooked, AND NOT SEASONED! Shame on the food Procurer, Chef and Cooks! My wife chose the Pappadlie. Again, no flavor, no seasoning and actually served cold. The noodles were all broken up, not the usual long length. The desserts were stale and had no flavor except for the taste of excessive use of sugar. We were rushed through our meal. Everything came out all at once and we were done in less than an hour. We wondered if it was just us, and then we noticed couple sitting next to us was also concerned and having a similar experience. They sent their food back. They were provided the wrong order and were also done within the same amount of time period. They were expressing to the staff to stop rushing them. Stay clear of this restaurant it's a waste of money and time.

A wonderful experience overall. I would suggest not to order limonades, it was a bit watery, but other than that the steaks were flavorful, the waiter was attentive when needed and the atmosphere very pleasing. I really liked that as I waited for the food I could see the chefs preparing it. The open kitchen concept is very enticing. We will be coming back.

Not a good experience. I order the mushrooms with truffle and it was missing salt, it was not good. We were at a big table, some of the dishes were ok. Most was not…. Don’t recognize it

We came here on a Friday night for dinner with 9 people total. The place was full and not crammed which was great. Most of the tables were larger groups like ourselves. The table was ready for us right when we got there. Once we sat down and were looking over the menu, we got to put in our drink orders and after a few minutes when we were ready to order, we got the butter with black salt and rosemary bread brought to our table, it was a good start to dinner and if I wasn’t trying to control myself I could have cleared a whole basket by myself. I didn’t get to try every dish our table ordered but the food I did try tasted good, best way I can describe it is that they were very solid and satisfactory. The dishes provided tame flavors, nothing too extreme or too unnoticeable but a happy medium. The portions were good enough where an entree will clearly fill you up, even the appetizers were a good enough size that if you chose to order one instead of an entree you’d be able to pull it off, if you prefer a smaller amount of food. The ambiance felt very family friendly which would explain the frequency of large groups I noticed very quickly once we entered the restaurant. The service was solid and the staff was courteous, we did not wait too long for attention and the staff was able to answer all the questions we had and assist wherever we needed it. There was a little parking in the back and if it got full we would have easily found street parking all around the restaurant. Overall we all enjoyed our visit to the restaurant and I can see myself coming back in the future whenever I’m in the mood for Italian food. If you want strong (and Hollywood priced) cocktails and unseasoned food, then this is the place for you! Overall, we were extremely disappointed. I have no reason to come back here based on the food cook and treatment from upper management. 1 Star for the Serving Staff 1 Star for food quality. -1 Star for The Kicker And now the gory details... ORDERED Beef Tartare Beet & goat cheese salad Lobster risotto New York strip steak Cocktails; Japanese and Pear Beef Tartare aka Beef Martini; half of it was green olives, and the other half was pureed beef. It looked like cat food, and tasted of olives, sans salt. Beet salad was lightly threatened with goat cheese (which is supposedly the 2nd key ingredient). When I asked for some more cheese, no one ever mentioned they would charge me for it! #badForm Lobster risotto. Probably the better of the two entrees. Lacking seasoning. NY Steak, Ordered Black and Blue (charred outside, red in the middle) = Fail. No char or crust. The sides weren't even seared. The intro bread was dense, dry, and underbaked. THE KICKER... Before we even arrived I received a call from the Manager asking if we could arrive earlier so they could accommodate a party that came after us. I found this extremely off putting, as it made us feel as though we had to rush so they could accommodate the impending ghost guests. When I called back to let them know we would try to arrive sooner. They NEVER offered to do anything to thank us for considering to change our schedule to accommodate them. When we arrived early. Same. No thanks. Nothing.

Lovely place. The kitchen is open which made the whole place feel cozy. I had initially seen there was a tomahawk steak on the menu but was sad to hear they no longer serve it. Initially had chosen this place for that specific reason but bf ended up getting the wagyu steak that was on the Specials menu. Bf said it was so tender and delicious. Seasonings were great, did not need anything else. The potato gnocchi was a bit plain. I ordered the branzino, great crispy skin and it was cooked to perfection! I also ordered the seafood risotto. I forgot to add cheese to it which I am sure would've added a little more flavor but it was good. Scallops were delicious. We saw another table order the cioppino and it looked amazing. Definitely going back to order that. The bread they bring out to the table with the salted butter was soft and warm. I had to order more because it went great with the branzino. I ordered the Lychee collins and it was tasty. No strong alcohol taste but definitely had a kick. The cucumber cosmo was light and fresh. We had affogatos (one decaf and one regular) and they were superb! I almost ordered another round. All in all, great place for a casual dinner. We took our 8 month old and they had a high chair and were very accommodating. Our server, his name escapes me, was attentive and took good care of us. Can't wait to go back! *Parking in the back. This restaurant is in a plaza and there is a small parking lot attached, immediately behind. Since we went at night, the other businesses were closed so there was plenty of spaces. Also metered parking on the side.

Unfortunately the timing of courses from the kitchen was off, we got our appetizers and mains at the same time. The food however was extremely good. Everyone at our table enjoyed the meats and fishes chosen and all was cooked perfectly. I hope when we return they will have sorted the timing issues out.

There were quite a few issues with my dish, but mistakes happen everywhere and I still love this restaurant. It's super chill and the waitstaff is kind and unpretentious. The reason for "four stars" is because we were celebrating my husband's birthday -- they received a heads up from me and confirmed they would put a candle in his dessert. When his dessert arrived, there was NO candle -- only a cheap "Happy Birthday" placard on the dessert. We were told "oh sorry, yeah, we don't have candles, only placards." Very thoughtless and honestly rude not to provide candles to birthday patrons who want to blow out a candle/ "make a wish" on their annual birthday. We sang "happy birthday" but he had nothing to blow out. Lame. How on earth do you not have birthday candles? It's just a few bucks. Go buy some.

Terra e Mare was decent. I think it's a good spot to visit if you're on a date but if you want a memorable meal that will leave a positive impact on your pallet, this probably isn't it... I ordered pasta and the sauce was lackluster. I can't even give a detailed review because of how little of an impression it made.. The complimentary bread was delicious though! I also enjoyed the slab off butter that had small bits of truffle.. It was a shame that the butter was unsalted but that's a personal problem (lol) The service is OK. Maybe I was dressed too casual but I did get the vibe that the sever and host were unimpressed by me and my date. The place is cute and very lowkey. I wouldn't come back here unless someone pitched it.

Wow, what a bad experience on Valentine's Day. They charge $99.00 for a 3 Course Meal. And when i tell you it is a joke, i mean it. There is no music and all you can hear is people talking from everywhere. Already not a good ambiance to celebrate Valentine's Day. Our server is really nice but the food and over all experience is not good. Our entree were served cold, the Lobster Ravioli is 3 pieces of heart shaped ravioli with little lobster on top. This is the Entree you guys serve for $99.00? You guys are a joke. Will never come back here again.

Food was really good, the steak was large. Came during the high winds, so the lights were flickering a little bit, but that sort of added to the fun and ambience. It was really dead inside for our meal time and Service was very attentive. I don't know how they are when it's peak time.

Came here Mother's Day and thought it was decent overall. Started off a little annoyed though. Made the reservation well over a week in advance and got a confirmation email then a confirmation phone call a few days before and then another confirmation call the morning of. But when we got there, it took about three minutes to find the reservation and to find where we were supposed to be sat. Mind you we were the first ones in the restaurant and it was completely empty. So I was also a little annoyed that we were set at the very back of the restaurant near the service station and the kitchen when the entire restaurant was open. But I digress.... Our server and unfortunately, I can't remember his name was amazing. They had a limited menu which they did not specify anywhere online or while making the reservation so we had a couple of things in mind and when we didn't see them on the menu, the server was quick to ask the kitchen if they would go ahead and whip them up for us and they did. Started off with the crabcakes and the presentation was amazing. Crabcakes were fresh and flaky and pretty tasty overall. Gave these a 4/5. They had the stuffed squash blossoms. These seem to be a trend now. I've had better. I've had worse. Gave these a 4/5. Then we went and got the steak tartar. Not our favorite at all. Barely seasoned and lacked all around. The toast given with the tartar wasn't even toasted but some how burnt. Yes it was fresh but lacked flavor. 2/5 They had a truffle fettuccine Alfredo. It was just OK. Nothing over the top. Definitely creamy and flavorful, but for the price being one of the more expensive dishes on the menu it just lacked anything that made it memorable. 2/5 for the price. The same goes for the lobster ravioli. The texture and consistency of the filling was a little offputting. It was almost like a minced lobster mixed with ricotta. Again for the price 2/5. There was a pasta dish that was on special or one of the specials. I should say that had some shrimp and some peel noodles. Pretty decent with a 3/5. There was also a fillet special, which was my absolute favorite. Seasoned to perfection and cooked perfectly. The entire dish was put together well. 5/5. And lastly, there was the lamb chops. For the price it seemed like the portion could've been slightly bigger compared to what we get in other places, but it was cooked perfectly seasoned well. 4/5 Ended with the tiramisu and I'm not sure if it was because it was early but the ladyfingers just didn't have time to soak up any of the flavor and we're still crunchy. Gave that a 2/5 . Overall, decent place probably won't be back. The owner or manager was definitely hands-on and busy, but never really paid attention to one section of the restaurant. This would make a nice date night spot if you're in the area or maybe a nice weekend lunch.

My Mom and Dad are big fans of Terra e Mare. I used to dine here a bunch when it was a previous restaurant but have never returned since it became Terre e Mare. I walk/run by every single day as they are right around the corner from me. We joined my parents for dinner recently and while I had some initial hang ups about the place, the food was quite delish. Their corkage fee is $35 and that's something to keep in mind if you're a stickler about your wine. I'm typically not but found myself wishing I'd inquired on corkage fees prior. We opted for an Italian varietal of my Dads choice and it was actually really lovely. Overpriced but lovely nonetheless. You must keep in mind this is a ristorante not a trattoria and the menu prices will remind you if you've forgotten. I ordered the branzino, and my son ordered the seafood risotto. Both of our entrees were excellent. My parents love the branzino, beet salad and grilled veggies. My bestie ordered the salmon and really liked it. We had a tiramisu that was also really nice and I'm extremely particular about my tiramisus. All in all this is a great place to eat but I don't see myself adding it to my personal rotation. I'll leave it to my parents, it can be their special little date night spot and maybe on occasion I'll third wheel with them. Service was great and they do have a Happy Hour I noticed.

I like this place. After a long day at work, dinner wasn't happening. My husband mentioned Terra e Mare. We have been a few times, but it had been a while since we stopped by. I am happy with his choice because we had a delicious meal here. We started with the buratta salad which was tasty. Creamy burrata and perfectly salted, ripe tomatoes. I had the Jidori chicken while my husband had the pork chop. Both of our plates were sooooo good. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, topped with a slightly smoke cheese. I also enjoyed all of the fresh grilled veggies, especially the eggplant. The pork chop was huge! It was also nicely seasoned and cooked to the perfect temp. The plate was loaded with sauteed mushrooms and had a side of roasted veggies drizzled in balsamic. We really enjoyed this meal. The service was also good as well. I just feel like this spot is always serving up fresh, good food and does it consistently.

My girlfriend and I dined here on Valentine's Day and had an overall bad experience. The prices were elevated due to the fixed Valentine's Day menu. I was okay with it, but I was expecting a stellar meal. Instead we got a poorly cooked chicken dish, a slightly cold ravioli dish that only had 3 small ravioli and slow service. The couple next to us were also not satisfied with the food. A huge waste of money. I could make better food at home. Won't be coming back

I came here with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day expecting a luxurious meal, we got the exact opposite. We entered at 8:20 we got our appetizer at 9:40. I told the waiter where is our food and he went and grabbed the appetizer after an hour and 20 minutes which was very cold. 30 minutes later we got our main dish and received an undercooked chicken. The chicken was literally pink. $300 down the drain. It was supposed to be a special night but it turned out to the be a disaster. Everyone in the restaurant was going through the same thing every body looked angry and disappointed. Will never return to this place. PLEASE save your money and go somewhere else

Great service, presentation and experience. Went to Wood and Fire as a single and was sequestered to the last seat at the bar. Highly recommend on service, food and the ability to hang with the kitchen crew to see how things work!

Seafood risotto: excellent Quail with saffron risotto: very good Bolognese: delicious Tiramisu: yummy This place is indeed a hidden gem. We relished every dish, and the service was truly wonderful. The addition of really tasty bread only added to the experience. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, this establishment lacks consistency. The first time I ordered, the food was delicious. Everything was perfectly made. The second time, the skill to make the dish was absent. The third time, the food quality was poor (bread was stale, seafood was rubbery) and there was a noticeable lack of knowledge about the cuisine to make the dish properly (oily, unseasoned soup; pasta was equivalent to chef boyardee). I really had high hopes for this place.

Super Disappointing! Dined here with family and overall found the food lacking flavor, service poor and to top it off we literally found a decent sized rock in our seafood dish!! Was able to try several dishes as there were 6 of us. Nothing stood out and much of it was lacking flavor. Beef tartar-lacking flavor & salt Chilean sea bass-over cooked and not that flavorful Risotto- fine, nothing special 20% tip was added for 4 adults & 2 kids and honestly the service wasn't very good. Nice neighborhood restaurant with a warm ambiance. Convenient parking options. Seabass was excellent, but my friend's "medium" filet mignon was overcooked. Staff is friendly and professional, but a little slow.

Phenomenal experience the food, the service and the ambience. We loved every savory moment and we are going back again! In the way of desert, you must try the icecream with espresso poured over. It is so decadent. 7 .

This has become our local GREAT Italian restaurant. Went again last night & was blown away by how delicious the fettuccini with truffle & funghi was. Perfect. Can't stop thinking about it! Add to that the warm & attentive service from Susie & you've got a home run dining experience.

We had lunch for Mother's Day. We randomly made reservations here to try something new. What a refreshing surprise! Such an adorable restaurant with a great vibe, and great specials and drinks. We had the Strawberry Lemon drop which was amazing! But let me tell you about the food! We had the tuna tartar, burrata salad, pasta bolognese, Chilean Seabass and so much more. Every item was more delicious than the other. Service was top notch. Highly recommend this gem

Came here today and I'm so happy that we decided to go here for dinner. This spot is so cute and everything I had was very delicious. We came on a Monday during the happy hour, which is from 5:00-7:00pm Sunday-Thursday. You have to sit at the bar for happy hour but it's for sure a vibe.The happy hour deals are very reasonable with a decent variety and good drinks & entrees. We started off with the bread that was fresh and hot, and so perfect with the butter. The bread here is ADDICTING, I gave up on bread a long time ago, but today I had to try it once I had a tiny piece, I had to finish the whole slice. For happy hour I ordered the penne arriabiatta if I spelled that correctly haha, it was really good and it had a spicy tomato sauce that was good and not too spicy. For the drinks the bartender Martin was absolutely the best, I had three drinks from the happy hour menu: margarita, lemon drop, and cosmo. They were PERFECT! What I ordered off the regular menu was Jidori chicken with sautéed spinach, and the surf and turf that was very good. The plate that it came on was eccentric and artsy as well. Lastly, the desert was good I was full and still ordered tiramisu. It was soft, most, perfect texture, and I could taste a little expresso which made it complete!! It was too good honestly. Parking: it is street parking in front or on the of the entrance. It is also parking lot in back, but I don't think you can park there only if you have handicap. However, in a nutshell, I will be back! Martin is the best, very good personality and knows his stuff he made the first time a good one. I recommend sitting at the bar when he is there. Also, When you sit at bar you can see the kitchen where the Chef's cook. This makes it quite entertaining.The decor inside is cute and Romantic but good for so many more occasions as well. I can't wait to try the salmon next :)

The food quality is quite low for the prices they charge here. The most delicious part of the meal was the bread.

So in all fairness, the food is pretty good here. However, I feel the price is a little steep. I'm not one to typically review a resturant but paying $10 for 5 bites of chicken has just rubbed me the wrong way. It's not the money, more the principal. Also, the staff is a bit hit or miss. Some are great, and some seem to have a chip on their shoulder.

Sooooooo freaking good! I can't even tell you how fantastic this place. The service, the food, and atmosphere were 5 star all the way across. I was here for a dinner with my mother and we loved every bite (clearly) Try the cheesecake! Also, Susie was the absolute sweetest!

Terra E. Mare is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is outstanding, the ambience is warm and inviting and the staff is great. We enjoyed dinner there last night. We ordered Tuna Tartare (fantastic), Caesar Salad (the best in town) and Cacio Pepe (need I say more?). It was perfect. We've had a lot of wonderful meals there and look forward to many more.

Food was exquisite. Service was fantastic and very attentive . My wife and I loved the ambiance.

Outstanding food and service. Really a gem that I am surprised I haven't heard more buzz about. We had chilean seabass (melt in your mouth) and steak/lobster...plus the beet salad was the perfect appetizer bite. If you're going on a date and want to look good, avoid the booths with the scary reverse-Blair-witch-project lighting straight down from the ceiling; sit on the patio or on the interior tables that have softer light otherwise you'll spend the evening laughing at how you look like monsters ;)

All around amazing!! The food, the service and the ambiance! We have enjoyed dinner here many times and even brought our moms for Mother's Day brunch and every time has been just wonderful! We passed by tonight and sat at the bar and enjoyed amazing martinis and an excellent selection of items from the happy hour menu and the regular menu. Five stars all around!!

First time there. It's nice inside and the people helping were also nice. Unfortunately they didn't have enough wait staff to take care of everyone in a timely manner. Our waitress was very nice and tried to be helpful but had too many tables to attend. It took us about 20 minutes to order a cocktail and then my wife was told they couldn't make her drink which was featured on the menu because the bartender didn't have one of the ingredients. Anyway, the food was decent, not great and it was pretty expensive. I had seafood pasta and my wife had chicken and along with 2 cocktails it was $140 including tip. I might go back because we had a nice time and it is within walking distance of my house but was a bit disappointed with the food especially considering the price. I wish them the best.

This restaurant/restauranteur has an ego, but nothing to back it up... We ate at Terra-ble e Ma-le on Saturday night of September 23, 2023. Appetizers (tuna tartare and crab cakes) were presented in a lovely way, but the "tartar" as it's listed on the menu (spell/translation check anyone?), tasted bland and was of poor quality. Crab cakes were overcooked and dry. Both reminded me of Yard house quality but not as good and thrice the price. Main dishes (lobster ravioli and New York steak) were presented in a plain and simple way. The ravioli tasted like the pasta water had not been seasoned and had chewy bits in it. The steak looked lovely with it's criss cross grill patterns but was not seasoned and not cooked medium rare as requested. Chimichurri tasted like rotten avocado, and spinach was an unseasoned mass of "no thank you!". The roasted potatoes were decent, really the only nicely cooked and seasoned thing in the dish. Sent steak back because it wasn't enjoyable in it's unseasoned form, so waiter said he'd take it off the bill. Manager/owner Stelian stopped by and asked what was wrong with the steak and I told him it was under seasoned and the chimichurri tasted bad. He quickly defended both saying how the steak is the best center cut prime and how everyone loves the chimichurri. Your ego is not your amigo Stelian! I received and paid bill, unfortunately I didn't notice that dear Stelian had undermined his waiter and had left the steak charge on the bill as "1/2 comp". So in the end I sent back more than half of the dish, was told it would be taken off the bill, then charged for half of it. I polled friends and restaurant workers over the past week and comments about this act can be summed up as, "that's the lowest of the low". This place has potential but the owner is all ego for no reason - the food is BAD and OVERPRICED! I recommend Malbec in Pasadena for legitimately great meat and chimichurri, as well as service with a smile and without ego. Or go big and have some amazing meats (and also good chimichurri) at any Fogo de Chao. Or eat ANYWHERE else, just don't go to Terra e Mare or else!!

We go here a lot and I've never had a bad meal, everything they have that I've had has been great. The service has always been great as well. Nice menu and wine selection. I like the TVs at the bar to watch a game in the background, the sound of the TVs is not on so it's not like a sports bar, they're just there and remove any stuffiness like some other older restaurants. The place isn't too loud so you can have a conversation. The owner is very nice and cares about his business. I don't understand some of the reviews here, it's like people are reviewing the wrong place, how could they say the food is bad, it's great! For great food and service the cost is in line with other higher end restaurants. I've been to many if not most of the better restaurants in the Sherman Oaks & Studio City area and this one is easily one of the best and even cheaper than others I'd put at the top.

Overall we had a great experience- friendly staff and our pasta dishes were awesome. For homemade pasta and the portion - I felt the price was what I'd expect. I have to say that the charcuterie was wildly disappointing. We paid more for a charcuterie board for 2 ($33) than our pasta ($28) - and there was ONE slice of prosciutto, 3ish very thin slices of a salami, and 2 more slim/small pieces of another meat. 6 small triangles of cheese, the equivalent of maybe one dried apricot diced in odd small pieces, and two tiny pieces of crostini bread. There was also 2 small ramekins of jam and honey - way more than we'd ever need for the amount of food on the board. Again - pasta was amazing. Either the charcuterie needs to be bulked up or price needs to be adjusted.

The Bell Weather was in this location for a good five years before they closed permanently, due to covid. The food and service were very good there so when we heard that a new restaurant was opening up in that location, we were eager to support. We were lucky to secure a table for four on a Friday night, especially with covid restrictions in LA County. The place was packed. Very nice for such a new place. Our server was very friendly and knowledgable. He knew the menu well and he was helpful. Things moved a bit slow, as the kitchen, servers and front house staff were working to get on the same page. The cocktails were nicely presented but most of them were a bit sweet for my liking. I just stuck with wine. Next time I will go off the menu. Our dishes were well platted. Filet Mignon with Mushrooms and Quail Eggs. New York Steak with Chimichurri, Spinach and Rainbow Beets. Tuscan-Style Mixed Seafood Stew. Everything was quite tasty and we had an enjoyable evening. It was also very nice that the owner was walking around the dinning room and checking in with every table. I hope Terra e Mare has great success in this new location for many years to come.

Always have a great time at Terra e Mare, the seafood is excellent and always fresh. Recently went back and had an amazing time, everything is on point from the drinks to the dessert.

Tasty seafood and weekly specials. Tried the blood orange margarita and the black and white spaghetti (arugula, white wine and garlic s sauce, shrimp and calamari). Very professional staff and prompt service. It's great for an intimídate dinner, but the open kitchen style isn't too much of my personal liking. Great decor .

Literally a last minute reservation through open table but so worth it! Made an 8:15pm reservation at 7:30pm and we got there at 8pm and were seated right away. FYI they have outdoor seating, few tables but it's still an option. Service was good and fast. We got our meals within 10min of ordering. I got the squid ink lobster ravioli and my husband got the fettuccini with bolognese. Both tasted amazing, flavors were on point. My only request was that I wish there was more on the plate!! There was only 5 pieces of ravioli and if I hadn't already eaten prior to going to the restaurant, I would have probably been hungry lol. For dessert we got the tiramisu, which the waiter said they make fresh daily. I have to say it did taste really good. You could taste the mascarpone, which is one way I know it's authentic. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the food :)

My boyfriend took me here on a date and it was really great!! The atmosphere, food, wine and service were all amazing. I would definitely go back!!!

Ambience, service, food. All outstanding. Dined here about two weeks ago and had the most incredible meal. Delicious wine, which was out of the ordinary. Not your typical California wine but wine from France, which was delicious. Chilean Seabass was off the charts. Deliciously prepared served with lentils, tasted phenomenal. Nice presentation all around. My friend had a vegetarian pasta dish. She said it was delicious. Service impeccable and on point and a really good experience... fair value for what we got. Great neighborhood restaurant! Definitely be back.

This is now my favorite restaurant on Ventura Blvd, and one of the most under rated in all of L.A. Came on a Tue night for an anniversary dinner, and reminded how much I love this place! the ambiance, the ease, good service and a great glass of Bordeaux. Started with 2 fantastic cocktails- my manhattan on a rock with luxardo cherry, perfectly made. Starter was grilled calamari on a super tasty bed of warm spinach- that still had a a bite- loved this dish! The main course: veal chop with delicious wild mushrooms in a jus, that was so tender and juicy, just the right amount of char, savory and salt. My wife had the seafood spaghetti that had the right amout of taste of the sea. We've had several casual last minute meals here, and last nights was great again.

Fantastic neighborhood restaurant! Warm and friendly greeting upon arrival... Julia checked us in and cared for us with superior professionalism and welcoming care. Her recommendations were spot on and she made our evening memorable along with everyone else at the restaurant. My friend who arrived from Italy 4 days ago raved about her trip and said Terra e Mare easily served Italian cuisine at the same caliber of quality and taste she is accustomed to in Italy! Wow! Can't recommend this place enough!

I ate at Terra E. Mare on 6/24/23. I had made reservation via OPENTABLE. Our server/manager Jessy was SUPER RUDE, SUPER ANGRY and he threw the menu at me when I had a question about desert menu. He refused to take our order for drink and told me the barman has closed down the bar. so we only ate food without any drinks. I complained to one of the boss boys why our server is super angry, who told me JESSY is always angry. Since the tip was already added to the bill, there was nothing I could do to show them how unhappy i was with server's attitude. I did add to the bill that server was rude and 20% addition of the tip was uncalled for. when the service is really bad, I dont care if food is bad or good. Nevertheless, one of my guests, my elderly brother in law, got really sick after a few hours and he had diarrhea but thank god he did not need to go to the hospital .

Unfortunately this place is disappointing. Oysters were fishy and the rest of the food was underwhelming. Their sister restaurant Pagliacci's actually has a much better chef, even though this is supposed to be the more upscale and gourmet place. I want it to do well, but with new great places like BLVD Steak opening on Ventura, it will be difficult to compete. The ambiance also needs work. It feels cold and uninviting.

Booked a reservation via Yelp, however when I got to the restaurant I had no reservation. Per the reviews I requested Hershel, I was told he was not working. We ordered lobster bisque soup, lobster salad, lobster ravioli, surf and turf and for dessert tiramisu. Everything was delicious, service was great! I also enjoyed the French Martini and a nice cab with dinner. When I asked the server is name he said Hershel. I told him what? I was told you didn't work on Mondays, he said I don't however someone called in so I am covering their shift! WOW the night was perfect!!

We stumbled upon this restaurant while driving down Ventura Blvd one evening. I had viewed the menu and wanted to try it. I tend to order Branzino when it's on the menu and this was one of the best I've had. Also, a beet salad is another go to item for me and theirs was delicious as well. I definitely plan to go back as there were several other menu items I'd like to try. Service was excellent, and we easily found nearby street parking.
