We've been to OF twice now and I have to say, I liked it even better the second time.
The restaurant is nicely decorated, not crowded, provides a view of the kitchen and has indoor, bar and outdoor seating.
The service was just short of outstanding (easily excellent). I really can't think of something to pick on.
We started with a cocktail for me, the Fiorella Old Fashioned and the Burrata with beets. The Old Fashioned was almost perfect (I know taste of the taster). My only gripe, a very small gripe, was it was a tiny bit on the sweet side. The Burrata was beautiful, fresh, and just as soft and creamy as you should expect. The sauce also had pistachios, which was a new one for me, but it really added to the dish. The beets (I don't even like beets) were amazing and sweet with just a hint of sour from the balsamic.
For our mains, my wife ordered the Cacio e Pepe, and I ordered the Sausage pizza.
The Cacio e Pepe was just as it should be, simple, amazing perfectly cooked pasta and excellent to the last creamy bite. Frankly the pizza surprised me (yes, I'm a pizza snob). See a picture below, that's what persuaded me to try it. The crust, oh the crust, it is everything to a great pizza and this didn't disappoint. Don't be surprised if you ask for extra cooked pizza crush to eat with the rest of your meal. The Italian sausage was tasty and perfectly cooked, the red sauce was just short of excellent and it was covered in shredded basil. You'll see from the pic below that I couldn't help myself, I ate half before I remembered the picture.
We were too full for dessert, maybe next time.
The prices are decent, definitely below comparable places on the strip.
We'll be back.
