Terrace really came through for my birthday lunch. My mom and I stopped in on a whim, and from the moment we sat down, everything just clicked. Our waiter was genuinely kind and thoughtful. Checked in often enough without hovering, and even brought out a little dessert surprise for me at the end. It was such a small thing, but it made the whole experience feel extra special. My mom went for the poached egg with avocado on a crabcake and was completely blown away. She kept saying it was one of the best things she’s had in ages. I stuck with a classic: the gyro platter. The meat was juicy and tender, full of flavor, and the fries were golden and crisp. Every bite hit the mark. You can tell the kitchen actually cares about what they’re putting out. The restaurant itself has this cozy, casual charm with a mix of diner and cafe energy, and somehow a hint of Mexican flair that totally works. No complaints here. Just great food, great service, and good vibes all around. 11/10; I’ll absolutely be back.

10/10 for my experience here. The food was delicious. I requested for the most popular item on the menu and it was the Mole enchilada. The Moscow Mule is the best drink item on their menu. The vibes was cool & Juan was amazing !!

High quality Mexican flair. Great service. Large bar inside and extensive menu. You can’t go wrong with this pace if you are in a mood for Mexican food.

We enjoyed a delightful breakfast at Terrace! Their kids menu is a hit, and the waffles and eggs were truly delicious. I opted for the avocado toast, topped with flavorful guacamole and pico de gallo, and requested egg whites—perfection! A special shoutout to our amazing waitress Roberta, who ensured we had a top-notch experience. We’ve definitely found our new breakfast spot! While the ambiance is a bit dim for reading the menu, the food makes up for it. I’d love to see a wider variety of salsas for an authentic Mexican touch. Highly recommend!

Terrace is honestly one of my favorite restaurants. From our very first visit, everyone has always been so welcoming and friendly, which is why we keep coming back. The food is consistently great, and I always have to get the nachos. We went to celebrate one of my cousin's birthdays, and it was her first time there. She loved it, and so did everyone else with us. Juan provided excellent service, and Yahir's drinks were amazing. The overall experience was wonderful, and we're already planning to come back for future celebrations. Highly recommend!

The food was OK. It's diner food that also has Mexican food but nothing that wow'd us. The burrito bowls was OK. Fried chicken was dry. Burgers were pretty good. Fries were average. Portion sizes were great though. Service and atmosphere was nice but nothing that stood out.

Generally pretty good but I ordered steak and eggs and they gave me a "sliced steak". So like steak nuggets as opposed to one solid steak. They put the eggs on top maybe to conceal this? Anyway, it tasted good but I think the menu should be clearer, I don't think I'd have ordered that if I knew. PS: bring back shredded hash browns.

We stopped by here for lunch while checking out the Fifth Avenue Street fair. We got seating in the shade. It was a very sunny afternoon. Not sure if it was the crowd of the day or us not knowing exactly what we wanted, but the lady taking the orders seemed to be very bothered. We love it when the host can help us find the specials and house favorites. We ordered Mexican, which is always a safety for us, as I am vegetarian. The food was very tasty and the drinks did the trick! Seems like a nice local place. I guess the normal brunch is a nice experience!

I can't get enough of this place. My family and I came here twice within 2 weeks. You know what to expect; the amazing food, the delicious drinks, the fantastic quick service is always consistent. We love their food, although they have an extensive menu, we now have our favorites! I love the Windsor Benedict, it's so delectable. The crab cake as the base is the best, it's so flavorful and gives this dish the best textures. I really like this paired with their home fries vs. their hash brown patties. Their Huevos Rancheros is one of the best. My niece devours it every time. The Disco fries are a great appetizer to share. Crispy fries loaded with cheese and gravy really hits the spot. They're so good! The classic nachos is everything you would want in a plate of nachos. It's a great portion for a meal and super delicious. The Cantarrito has become one of our favorite tequila drinks here. It's refreshing and a very well balanced cocktail. I really like their Michelada too, it was perfectly made with the perfect spice and flavors. This has become a family go to for brunch, we really love coming here. The vibe is lively and it's such a fun environment, they're always playing good music. It's moody with fun neon lights. It gets busy, but we've never had to wait for a table. I'm already getting excited about my next visit here!

We ate before the pictures could be snapped so let me just say delicious. Egg sandwich with ham 8/10, the shrimp tacos and rice and beans 9/10, and the giant breakfast 9/10 - the vibe was chill and cozy inside. Really enjoyed the service, right amount of attention. We will be back!

Several places have come and gone in the spot now occupied by Terrace. I can't say I miss any of them. Now, with Terrace, I can say I would. The neighborhood has needed a diner in the vicinity and they are filling the void nicely. The "regular" diner breakfast food is really good (I love a hash brown that is solid and crispy) but their Mexican diner menu has me coming back weekly. My personal favorite is the chilaquiles (with salsa rioja) but their huevos rancheros or huevos Mexicana are both stellar choices that go down nicely with a piña colada.

Me and my friends decided to come here for a quick bite for our girls night. We ran across it as we are strolling down Franklin Avenue. I will say the establishment was really unique in itself. It was like almost similar to a diner. The service in there was great our waitress was extremely nice and friendly. We decided to get a margarita to which did not disappoint. I ordered a burrito bowl, which was a recommendation from the waitress and it was absolutely delicious.

Our friends took us here after a night out for brunch and I was blown away. Seemed like a unique spot but wow. The menu was awesome and the food was off the charts I will never , ever forget the way they served my muffin to me. Sounds silly but they cut it in half and grilled it on each side with butter ..... I've never thought to do that and it actually changed my life haha. SO SO GOOD and yummy My croissant sandwich was delicious. I finished the entire thing. It had black beans and egg and chorizo and more and it was heaven for me. My fiance loved his meal too, he got a breakfast burrito - but my order was 1000000x better. Hands down. Order the croissant sandwich it's fire. Best breakfast ever. Thank you

Everything I've had had always been delicious! Even via delivery! Even when you order through Grubhub, this place uses their own drivers which helps with delivery food quality. Tonight we dined in for breakfast for dinner. I had their challah French toast and great as always. My husband had the 5av breakfast wrap and said it may have been one of his fave breakfast sandwiches ever!

I couldn't be more grateful to stumble upon this restaurant. Outstanding service from the start. Lovely ambience. The waitress made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable. I was immediately served water. My drink order came out in less than 4 minutes. The menu itself is diverse and allows multiple options. The food wait was minimal and worth the short wait. The quality of the food was exceptional. It's fresh and authentic. The entire staff was actually Mexican which I love to see for guaranteed Mexican food experience. I will be returning this weekend with my entire family.

I went specifically for the Mexican breakfast. I had huevos rancheros which were absolutely delicious and cost an appropriate amount of money. The place wasn't too crowded and the music wasn't too loud. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up.

The steak was burned and I tried to return it. The waitress wanted to charge for the steak even though I didn't like it, and had to wait for the owner to come and take it off the bill. After that issue all the waitresses was staring at me and making me feel uncomfortable and wanted me to leave. I did Apple Pay the bill and realize the tip was $17 dollars. Wouldn't recommend anyone to come here

This is a favorite for brunch and lunch. We haven't gone for dinner. It is quite kid friendly and service is friendly and fairly attentive. Food is good.

The Margarita flight was absolutely amazing!! Will come back just for that. No need for anything else. Atmosphere is very loud and on the night they had live music for cinco de Mayo. It was a great event but maybe a bit too loud. Service was relatively quick as well. The fajitas were just alright. Wound definitely be back for more drinks

My family and I love this dinner. Service is amazingly friendly and welcoming. Menu is pretty extensive and options to a lot . I been here more than a few times now. I keep coming back because I have enjoyed my dinning experiences here. I enjoyed the music and decor.

A full service diner in the heart of park slope! Terrace has an extensive menu the size of a textbook-- whatever you're craving they have it. All day breakfast, decadent appetizers, and classic sandwiches. My parents enjoyed brunch on their visit to Brooklyn, and it's a very kid friendly restaurant.

I had a take out order for a breakfast burrito and it was large and delicious. Definitely hit the spot. I would totally come back next time and eat in.

We came here for a family brunch. It was myself, my husband, and his family (parents & siblings & any sibling significant others). They were coming into the city for something, which I don't remember...oh wait. They were dropping stuff off fro out wedding. My husband got a wrap, my brother-in-law got a sandwich, his boyfriend got pancakes, my father-in-law got an omelet, my mother-in-law got a burger, my sister-in-law and I split an eggs benedict (which I don't have a picture of). I also got a mimosa but I didn't take a picture of it. The food was really good and the atmosphere wasn't too busy or loud. I would definitely return here for in the future.

We've been coming to Terrace Restaurant--the most perfect Mexican Diner experience--for a few months now and I'm annoyed at myself that we weren't coming sooner. If you want anything Mexican--flautas, quesadillas, tacos, burritos, tostadas--this is the place, either for breakfast, brunch, dinner. Just do it. This place even made my picky mother-in-law happy and that is no small order. The service is phenomenal, the owner's wife makes the rice and beans, and we have never had a bad meal. And did I mention disco fries? Yeah, just go.

Ate: Windsor juice Pozole Vegan bowl Big breakfast meal Total: $62before tax Everything is super fresh & tasted made to order especially loved the pozole and vegan bowl. The carrot celery & beet juice very fresh. Pancakes excellent too. A fine idea and welcome addition to the Slope & thankfully not connected to the much beloved but highly overrated Terrace Bagels- FYI

Love this breakfast/brunch spot in the Park Slope area. The croissant sandwich (with sausage, egg, and cheese) and onion rings are my favorite breakfast to have as a hangover cure. The menu here is so extensive and there's something here for everywhere. The breakfast items are amazing and I love coming here.

Wish i could give this place more than 5 stars!!! Best breakfast I've had in ages. The food is incredible - we loved the chorizo and avocado Benedict, the blueberry pancakes and the bagel platter. The kids waffle combo was a huge hit with our toddler son. But the real standout here is the service. The owner of the restaurant, Andres, told us his life story (so totally inspiring) and puts his heart and soul into his restaurant. I can't wait to come back before we leave Brooklyn.

While very loud, its because locals and tourists are LOVING the food. Very kid-friendly, even dog-friendly outside in the seating area. We are looking forward to returning.

Our favorite diner in Park Slope. Our most preferred dishes are the chicken & waffles, classic nachos, huevos rancheros, mango smoothie, cheeseburger, and enchiladas. The diner does Mexican dishes very well. Their house hot sauce is hot, makes me sweat, that's hot spicy it is. Strongly recommended.

ZERO STARS. My first time eating here yesterday, and I got food poisoning. I ordered the chipotle fried fish sandwich, and got so sick that night when I got home. I threw up twice on my bed, in my hallway, the couch, on my toilet, and had the worst diarrhea. This morning I had to rush to the hospital, because I couldn't even keep down water. On top of all this, I'm 17 weeks pregnant. I stayed up crying all night, because I was afraid of how this would affect my unborn child, which thankfully, was okay. Will never eat here again, will be reporting this restaurant.

Came here for breakfast. They have an extensive menu, it's hard to pick what you want to eat! It's in a trendy area right on 5th avenue. The prices are pretty outrageous to me! The breakfast was filling but I couldn't believe how much everything was. I think all of the breakfast items should come with a juice, tea, or coffee, especially for the price point of all the breakfast items. Only certain breakfast items come with that and those breakfast items are very carby. I had the healthy croissant and my husband had the terrace wrap with home fries and sausage links. The sausage links you see in the picture were $6.25 and they were cut in half! Home fries were an additional $3.75! Inflation sucks! Inside was a nice ambience with a true diner feel.

This place had a little bit of everything. Good food, good service and enjoyable outside seating area. I very much enjoyed my wrap, the French fries were delicious and the gang liked their mixed drinks. No waiting when we went and the prices were pretty good as well.

Great atmosphere and food. I've eaten there 100+ times and the menu is solid top to bottom, they do everything well. The owners and staff are exceptional also. This is one of my favorite places to eat on earth.

This Mexican restaurant has abundant brunch offerings and the Terrace omelet was perfect! Never had an omelette with guac inside. Waiters were so kind and attentive! Wonderful neighborhood restaurant in Brooklyn.

Ordered delivery from here for dinner one night. The menu is huge, so it can be a little daunting if you're a bit indecisive. Food came quickly, order was correct and everything was packaged well for transport, off to a good start. I went with the breaded chicken wrap. Good size, generously filled the wrap and all of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Their waffle fries were awesome, which is tough to do with delivery since it's easy for them to be one soggy. My girlfriend went with the chicken caesar wrap which was delicious. We both agreed this is a solid spot to order from again and if we're around should stop by to dine in and eat.

I found my new breakfast nook! Their menu is so extensive--you can get everything from grilled cheese to huevos rancheros to waffles! Definitely trying to eat my way through their menu. Their outdoor dining is really cute and cozy, and the interior has major diner vibes. Super cute. So far, I've gotten the burrito bowl and the California omelette. Both dishes were fantastic. The first time I dined here, I had been craving Chipotle for some reason, so of course I had to try their burrito bowl. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. It was so robust and the ingredients were extremely fresh. The bowl was so filling but I literally couldn't stop myself from consuming the entire thing in one sitting. The California omelette was also fantastic! So many fresh ingredients just blending together in a magical way. I got the beans as my side, and they were super yummy as well. Overall, Terrace serves up wholesome and hearty meals.

Great customer service always has a good crowd of people. In the summer the outdoor seating is always full. The food is also good and the menu has a large variety of entrees to select from. Perfect location for breakfast when you're in the park slope area.

Food was delicious. I ordered a turkey burger with turkey bacon and avocado. It was sooooo good! The steak fries were a perfect complement. Their margarita flights were delicious also! My friends and I actually returned the next day to try more menu items. Everything was good. The waitstaff were knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant felt cozy, like sitting around the dinner table at home. Definitely recommend checking out this lil gem in Brooklyn!

Solid three and a half stars, upgraded to four - I'll explain why 1) Generous portion size & fast service - great ! 2) Jalapeño surprise in the Western Omelette! Hot! Let me say that first bite was an interesting experience... Plus other items randomly substituted, including potatoes I never ordered. Overall three stars, just because I actually love jalapeño peppers, but couldn't really taste anything else in the omelette. It was the end of the day and you get what you get - but most restaurants call & let you know. The Challah French toast was good. Just FYI

My gal pals and I were doing our monthly meet up and we needed a place that could accommodate our party of 8. This restaurant was pretty big and has seating outdoor as well. I had the shrimp nachos and they were amazing and so filling. I couldn't even finish it. Everything was tasty and fresh! I'd definitely order it again!! I had a tequila based drink in a terra cotta cup. It was tasty and refreshing without being overly sweet! Everyone enjoyed their food. The portions were amazing. The servers were friendly and attentive. Definitely check them out!

Very cute Resturant in the heart of Park Slope. We decided to stop by for breakfast because hitting up Kids town Ply Place for our toddler play date. Food is phenomenal fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the Spanish breakfast like rancheros and burrito staple in Mexican cuisine and very very flavorful. My son had kids menu hotdog scrambled egg and French fries he finished his meal first time in a long time . Highly recommend this place !!!

Every time I come here I am never disappointed. The food is always good. The service is always personable and the ambience is accommodating. The music is loud enough to hear but not to have you shouting. The last time I came there was día de las muertos. This time the decor is Christmas.

Hands down the best diner style restaurant in Park Slope! We came to visit some family for the weekend and stayed at a hotel nearby. I've been juicing all month and was a bit sad I couldn't bring my juicer with me. As I was looking for breakfast spots nearby, I found this place and thought, "THEY HAVE FRESHLY SQUEEZED JUICES!!!" So obviously, we just had to go LOL The first time we went, I ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon, avocado etc with a mimosa and a juice. Second time we visited, I ordered the Windsor burger with Mexican coca cola and a Mai Tai. EVERYTHING was SO GOOD!!!! So good that I totally forgot to take pictures of anything! We also got to meet the owner and learned he's been in the restaurant business for well over 30 years now! I love being able to find local, family owned restaurants who truly care about their customers' experiences. If you're anywhere in Brooklyn, trying out this restaurant is a MUST! 1000000/10 highly highly recommended!

This was the previous Blue Ribbon, which I sorely miss. But Terrace is a worthy replacement. The menu is half Mexican restaurant and half diner food. Get the chorizo! It's made in-house and delicious. Portion sizes are insane, and the staff is super nice!

The service is always very good, and they do very well with diner basics. Always a no-nonsense and enjoyable experience.

I came here once with my girlfriend for brunch. Had an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and professional. The food tasted great. Came back a second time. Great service, good food and good atmosphere. Definitely will come back again. I absolutely recommend this place.

Cobb salad is best in town. Food here is so good. I've had a few different things now. Burgers, chicken sandwiches - big fat fries/cole slaw and pickles are very good. This place is awesome. Sit in dining room, or patio - or grab some take out. My kind of restaurant! Real food for real ppl. I'm so full.

As per our son suggestion, we decided to try it for dinner. Our order was the following - New York Burger Deluxe $16.25 with extra $2.00 for a sweet potato fries, another New York Burger Deluxe $16.25 with regular fries, Beef Hamburger Deluxe at $14.95 with $1.50 extra for a mozzarella cheese and $2.00 for baked potato and one Chicken & Mole at $26.95. Fountain soda at $2.75. Service was quick and prompt , with our 7 month grandson positioned in a high chair. This place is half a Mexican restaurant and half as a diner , which works fine. Few more points - credit card payments are subject to 3% processing fee(we were not told about it, not that we would pay cash) sales tax at 8.875% (almost as high as in our CA city, which is 8.250%). Food was good , no complains here. At the end we got a nice conversation with the owner - I told him , that we came legally long time ago , as a refugee from the communist country, his response was - and I came crossing Rio Grande. Our stories show, what is great about USA.

The food is excellent, and the portions are HUGE. Service is on point and very welcoming. Owners and staff are very attentive, friendly, and efficient. My brunch and my dinners are here on weekends. Was waiting at pep boys for my sis car to get fixed. While we wait, stumbled into this spot not too far. I The burgers were delicious, lots of avocadoes. I asked for hot sauce and they gave me regular and a house hot sauce. It's spicy but not over the top. They serve everything, breakfast all day, sandwiches, mexican tortas, fajitas, flautas, pasta. Its diner style and has a bar. We left stuffed. I will definitely be back.

The food was alright. I probably would not return.Everyone in our group didn't feel well after the meal. The decor is nice though!

Solid place. But getting very expensive. They keep raising prices. Now $17.25 for a basic grilled chicken wrap. Add + $2.50 for a measly side salad... Inflation is bad. But it's not that bad.
