Terrain Cafe was a wonderful experience. From plates to botanical decorations, everything was well coordinated. The food was fresh and savory. It would be nice if sides were included with the burger without additional costs. The flower pot and seasonal butter (vanilla) were delectable. We could not resist and asked for more. Our server was extremely kind and attentive. The restaurant and bathrooms were spotless. I would advise getting reservations as tables tend to fill up quickly.

It was a very nice place. Perfect for a girls bunch or a date. Atmosphere was loud but I think perhaps where we were sitting it created a bit of a barrier for us. Beautiful location. Food wise of you are a vegetarian its an awesome place. Very health and definitely fresh. The mushroom soup was great though just very strong. It could have done with a savory flavor or maybe not button mushrooms. It's perfect for like a small cup of soup but the bowl that you get taste wise it gets too much after about a quarter. Loved the bread in a pot with the lemon poppy butter. The lasagna was surprisingly good for it being vegetarian though I think offering a non vegetarian option would really sell. My husband had the lobster roll and it was good though we do wish it was a warm sandwich (it was cold). Overall, we will go back to try it again and see if we can find dishes that we both really like. It just needs flavor.

Google
I wish I could write a glowing review for this location, but the food let me down! Service exceptional as well as hospitality and overall ambiance. The apps were delightful. However, the entree was mediocre and flavorless. My salmon came out raw (not being dramatic - it wasn’t even remotely close to medium rare). The staff was incredibly responsive and apologetic and cooked me up a fresh piece of salmon that was well done. I love their pot bread. I think their OG location does it best! My heart and belly are full. A beautiful and balmy evening at @terrain_delval to celebrate @a_silentstylist (and the first day of spring) 🌸🎂🌸 Some menu highlights: cumin-marinated carrots with green goddess, fried cauliflower with pastrami seasoning, baby kale salad with salmon and camembert, and caramelized apple cheesecake. We also got the chocolate terrarium, but you can pass on that (and perhaps get the budino)!

Google
Such a cute place, every room was decorated very nicely and had lots of twinkle lights in all the plants, I would return just for the atmosphere. I got the fried cauliflower and harvest bowl, both were meh. The fried cauliflower was pan fried and mostly burnt and the harvest bowl was ok, not a huge fan of their falafel. My friend got the mushroom soup and lobster roll. The mushroom soup she said was good but the lobster roll was Connecticut style and not Maine style so she wasn't crazy about that, but still ok. I also had the blueberry pie chai latte which was more of a spicy chai and my friend had the watermelon mint spritzer which was good! Would go back, but maybe more for drinks and apps.

Google
Very nice atmosphere. We were seated inside. We will definitely dine outdoors on the patio next time. The food was amazing. The beef with poached egg was extremely tender. The shrimp and grits were probably the best I've ever had. When it mentioned jalapenos on the menu, I was reluctant to try it, but it was the perfect balance of spicy and sweet from the honey and pickled radish. On the downside, we had to ask for bread 2xs. Was disappointed that we had to keep asking for a water refill. And when we ordered dessert with cappuccino, the drinks came after we were done. Apparently, they turned off the machine and took a while to get it going again. They did take the drinks off our bill, though. All in all, it was a very good meal.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had and probably the first time in my life the food was so disgusting I didn’t even want to eat it. We came in for Sunday brunch and were treated like we were invisible. Our server, Caroline, couldn’t have cared less. She was rude, ignored all our questions, never checked in, and basically disappeared after taking our order. I ordered a burger with truffle fries , what I got was a total joke. The fries came out cold, soggy, and gross 10 minutes before the burger. And when the burger finally came, it smelled like spoiled meat ; literally rotten. It was undercooked, tasted awful, and I had to spit it out. My girlfriend’s food came almost 40 minutes later, also stone cold. When I told Caroline the food was inedible and smelled expired, she brushed it off like it was nothing and offered me more fries—are you serious?! This place clearly doesn’t give a damn about the garbage they serve people. They didn’t apologize, didn’t offer to fix anything, didn’t comp a single thing—just shoved the bill in my face like everything was fine. We left the food untouched and walked out furious. I paid just to be done with it, not because they deserved a cent. I wouldn’t feed that crap to a stray dog. Unless you’re coming just to stare at flowers and not eat, stay far away from this place. Total ripoff. Total disrespect. Total trash.

Google
I have never had a dining experience so bizarrely, bafflingly terrible? I ordered the short rib and gnocchi for dinner. It was $32. The first photo is what was served to me. The fact that this food made it to the table is WILD. Most of the gnocchi were cooked into absolute black charcoal. Whoever did the plating attempted to hide them under the meat as if I wasn’t going to immediately notice that they were burnt to a crisp?? My server took it back to the kitchen and a full 20 mins later, after the rest of my table was finishing their plates, the plate in the second photo made it to the table. That plate was dry as a bone, friends! A lump of overcooked meat on a toddler-looking plate of dry carrots and gnocchi, not a drop of sauce in sight 😂 my server eventually brought over a little ramekin of sauce, but honestly everything was just so bad it wasn’t even worth it. I was charged $32 for this dish. THIRTY TWO DOLLARS. My husband ordered the scallops and bucatini pasta and the pasta arrived in one solid mass all stuck together. We also ordered a “baby kale” salad for the table and we were served, not baby kale, but like normal, full-sized, fibrous kale with the stalk still attached (the stalk as in the part you don’t eat, as thick as my thumb) with almost no dressing on top. I told my server that the kale wasn’t baby kale and that when you’re ordering a salad, that is a pretty meaningful difference - The difference between chewing uncooked straight fiber and eating a tender baby leaf meant for salad. He laughed it off and honestly I couldn’t blame him. And once again, almost no dressing at all. Just dry kale 😂 does this restaurant have something against sauce?? By the end of the meal we were dying laughing because everything was just so weirdly, crazily bad! ANYWAY we paid the bill (obviously nothing comped and no apologies from anyone) and I guess we have a story to tell but folks, save your money and go literally anywhere else. The place was extremely beautiful inside and so charming. Such a missed opportunity!

Google
Terrain Cafe is absolutely stunning—every detail of the space is beyond beautiful. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Drinks are perfectly crafted, and the service is outstanding: warm, attentive, and professional. A truly memorable dining experience. We’ll be back soon!

Yelp
@ryan Condiment purveyor of the greenhouse, we bow to thee Separately the omelets are spectacular, the vibes immaculate, the drinks refreshing. Also about the ketchup --

Yelp
The start off the atmosphere is beautiful. Natural and rustic. The service was good too. Attentive waitresses and the food comes out at a good pace. Flower pot bread; very cute and soft fresh bread. Their butter complimented the bread well. Citrus Tea: 5/5 very refreshing! A good way to start your meal. Terrain Breakfast: 5/5 a simple healthy breakfast. Everything cooked to perfection. Short rib and egg: 0/5 this sadly was the biggest disappointment. It was way too salty making it near inedible. Budino: 5/5 delicious dessert. Well balanced and not overly sweet while still tantalizing. Overall: 3/5 but would've been perfect if not for that short rib.

Yelp
Olivia is an absolutely delightful soul! So wonderfully attentive to our table, and her recommendations were spot on splendid! I really enjoyed my mushroom soup !! And the omelette with the side salad was so delicious !!!! The atmosphere was so upbeat and it's just so delightful to be around all the beautiful colorful springtime, flowers, and plants in this wonderful terrain !! I look forward to coming back soon !!

Yelp
Beautiful resturant. Like eating in a Botanical Garden. Service was outstanding, food was pricey but delicious. Perfect for special occasions. We had 6 in our party and conversation level was good. We had a great time. Thank you Terrain.

Yelp
We had a lovely dinner at Terrain! The interior is absolutely gorgeous with all the greenery and plants! Service was wonderful as well - our wait staff were all attentive and friendly. The food was excellent - I would come back for the mushroom soup and truffle fries alone! Flower pot bread was so adorable! The burger was great, as was the braised lamb special. My halibut cooked well but was not outstanding - maybe just needed a little more seasoning. Will absolutely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place because it looked so cute online! The interior is stunning, perfect for Instagram pics! Unfortunately, the food is just not good, at least not for brunch. They seem unique on the menu but taste bland which is unfortunate. The drinks are decent but I don't think I'll be driving 45 minutes to come back.

Yelp
Great service and amazing food! The beat and burrata salad is one of my favorites and the cheese platter is amazing. The service is fantastic and it is such a beautiful place to dine in. Highly recommend!

Yelp
LOVE THIS PLACE. The aesthetics and the vibes are always so beautiful, and they have the loveliest staff! I got their burger and matcha latte which always hits the spot, BUT this chocolate terrarium was a great surprise! The chocolatey goodness from the mousse and ganache were so smooth and delicious! The matcha crunch was a great added texture! The chocolate rock and microgreens were so cute and made the entire experience so memorable! Will be back for more!

Yelp
Better than expected! I had always thought this place was just a sandwich & salad place for some reason. They have way more than that. There were 3 of us for lunch on a Thursday and we were glad that we had made reservations - it was just about full at 1 pm. The 2 cocktails, a Winter Citrus Margarita and Pomegranate Mule were very good as was the bottled Stella Artois. The delicious warm Bread in a clay flower pot with Vanilla and Hibiscus flower butter was a nice start. The Beet & Burrata as well as the Cesar Salads were both very generous portions and were delicious. The Chicken Pot Pie was an upscale version of that dish with very tasty mushroom slices throughout. All the staff were friendly and the setting very nice. We will definitely return.

Yelp
This is a solid go to spot for brunch and dinner. Ambiance and decor is great and love that you can also go check out their store that is connected. We love sitting at the bar when we come. The service and bartenders are wonderful. The drinks are always so good there (esp when they have some specials) and we love the mushroom soup and bread that comes in the pot. One time they had an amazingly delicious lasagna that I could eat again and again. Dessert is also great including their signature terrain bowl desert. Prob one of our top favorite local go to spots.

Yelp
Little disappointed with this location. I was so excited to find out that there is a terrain cafe near my house! Similar to other location, there is ample parking and the interior is super cute with the rustic vibes. The food was unmemorable. Starting with their famous flower pot bread...that was so hard that we couldn't eat. The other dishes were okay but was lacking flavor. The best dish we had was the French toast. Hoping to come back here for a better experience!

Yelp
I'm not sure why this place doesn't have a better rating- I can see some food items being not that great, but the beautiful and unique ambiance of this restaurant outweighs that for me. 3 of my girlfriends and I came here over the summer (the menu changes seasonally), and had a great dinner overall. We made a reservation online several weeks in advance to secure our spot for a Sunday dinner. Our server Amanda was attentive without us feeling like we were being rushed, we enjoyed the cute flower pots the bread came in as it fit into the farm/garden/floral theme, and the food was pretty good. The mushroom soup was surprisingly really tasty for some of us non-mushroom lovers, the seasonal hummus and cheese platter were okay, and we liked our pasta dishes. This would be a beautiful place to have a baby/bridal shower or birthday party!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was outstanding, great flavor and nice presentation. Our server Jordan was great, he was non intrusive while we enjoyed each course. The ambiance was very warm.

Yelp
This is the second time we've dined for dinner, only to be told 15 minutes after we ordered our entrees that the kitchen was "all out" of the dish. Instead, the maitre'd hovered over my spouse as she quickly decided a new dish, only to hate it after it came. When she told the waitress she didn't like it, she was met with an "oh", and that was the end of the service. No apology or nothing to make it right from the host -- again! It's a beautiful restaurant with very nice dishes, but you're really spinning the roulette wheel when you dine for dinner. You have no idea what will happen.
google avatar

Ilene S.

Yelp
3.5 What a great place to have lunch with the ladies. It's in a great location right on the university grounds. Beautiful area: amazing flowers, plants, wonderful place for a baby/bridal shower. Our server was a joy. Friendly, funny, polite and informative. She gave us plenty of time to eat and talk without feeling rushed or forgotten about. The bread came in a terra-cotta pot which is very unique but the lemon butter was on the bland side. I shared the grilled cheese which came on thick rye bread crispy, crunchy with just the right amount of butter, cheese and had a nice fig jam. The Caesar salad had a good dressing not too over powering with nice grilled chicken. I also tasted the cauliflower which was seasoned very well. I was not impressed with the cheese plate

Yelp
You haven't been to Doylestown without a stop at the Terrain Cafe and Gardens!! Whether you want to grab a coffee or cocktail or enjoy one of their lovely meals, there is always something to enjoy at Terrain. As a local, I am so excited by the ever-changing atmosphere and merchandise to explore in the shop and gardens. It's almost like stepping into a whimsical (expensive) fairy land. In the cafe, your entree comes with hand made bread in a terracotta pot. They also serve some of the best brewed coffee I've ever had. The staff are locals and many students at the affiliated Delaware Valley University, and very happy to help with any of your needs. You can also take a course with the garden specialists or take your little one to a children's demonstration.

Yelp
So bummed. The atmosphere is gorgeous but the food is so disappointing. We've tried brunch here twice and both were terrible. First time here I had the short rib and egg. The egg was over cooked and the potatoes tasted old and were like rocks. We tried it again today. My husband got the burger and asked for it with an egg and bacon, it arrived missing the egg and bacon. I ordered the mushroom frittata.. it was sooooo over cooked, the eggs were like an old boot and the mushrooms were like hard rubber. If the food is actually local, they're doing the local farms a disservice. The snicker doodle latte was very good.

Yelp
The ambiance was beautiful!! It's perfect for brunch or a girls lunch. The store is fun & cute to spend time in. The restaurant feels very posh & chic

Yelp
The food was amazing! I love the new spring menu! It has a great variety of options and I feel that everyone will find something they enjoy! The service was great. Everyone was kind and attentive. The drink menu was large and had many different options. I would highly recommend going here!
google avatar

Yelp
I have heard so many good things about Terrain and finally got the chance to try it while treating myself to a solo meal, and it did not disappoint!! I cannot say enough how STUNNING this place is! I couldn't stop staring. And the drinks and food were all so good (I am forever a charcuterie girly and this was perfection) and the staff was super attentive and friendly. What's even better is that if you dine here you get a 20% off coupon for their garden store next door, how fun! I got some little bath bombs that I can't wait to use. I cannot wait to go back!!

Yelp
Came here for brunch on Valentine's day with my husband. The exterior of the cafe was giving modern farmhouse. Everything about this cafe was so aesthetic, and the ambiance was so lovely. The interior decor was beautiful, it's a plant lover's dream. I would recommend making a reservation. We didn't make a reservation, and it was about an hour wait, although the restaurant looked like it had plenty of seats available. Thankfully we were able to be seated at the bar, where it is first come first serve. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, but we were disappointed by the service. Not sure if it was because it was Valentine's day and they were quite busy, but it took a very long time for our order to be taken. The staff were disorganized and one of the servers was just standing around. The girl who was serving us had served us our drinks and bread, but she did not come back for a long time to ask for our order. It was probably almost 30 min of waiting and we had to ask someone else to take our order, which was quite frustrating. Despite this, we did enjoy our food a lot. They served bread for the table in a flower pot which was just the cutest thing! The bread was warm and delicious and it tasted a bit sweet. I really liked my mocha latte. My husband ordered the orange tumeric sunrise, but he said it was quite watery and not sweet. Our food was delicious. I had gotten the terrain burger with a side of fries. The burger was so flavorful and juicy. My husband ordered the short rib with egg. He really enjoyed his dish. The sauce was so flavorful, and the meat was tender and pulled apart so easily. After our brunch, we explored the store and plant shop which is all connected, so you can walk through both from the cafe. The store was such a magical walk through, it is filled with the most aesthetic home goods, dried flowers, and decor. I wanted to buy everything. The garden/plant shop was also so lovely. It also looked like they offer classes which was pretty cool. Despite the service, we do want to go back and try their other food. Overall, it is a lovely place to dine and shop.

Yelp
We had a great meal here in early June 2025. We enjoyed our Tuna + Soba noodles, lasagna, chicken pot pie and a loaded burger for me! Excellent service from Caroline. The food was good, and I love that they give BIG PORTIONS. I'm a big eater. Most restaurants of this caliber serve portions which could only satisfy a hummingbird. Thanks Terrain, we'll be back.
google avatar

Theresa H.

Yelp
Celebrated life's simple pleasures with a farm-to-table feast, savoring locally sourced flavors and crafted cocktails. Candace provided great service Ambiance is great decor is inviting and relaxing. Great place to celebrate
google avatar

Allie W.

Yelp
I thought this was good but a little pricey for what it is. Lots of GF options which is nice! I got the mushroom soup and it was good. I got the tuna entree - it was good, could've used more sauce at the bottom. Felt a little small for the price. I would go back because it's a cute spot.
google avatar

Karen F.

Yelp
Terrain is "precious" and also a bit pretentious. They serve Brunch until 4 PM every day - but Sundays are crazy busy. Every table gets their bread baked in a flowerpot (cute and tasty) and a special "butter of the day/week". Try the Avocado eggs benedict. The iced tea of the day is also good, too. Plus a full bar. $8 lattes and $10 desserts but once in a while, such a treat. Great for mother's day or a graduation lunch/brunch.
google avatar

Raisa O.

Yelp
I found a great place for both breakfast and lunch and dinner. This is a place where you can eat deliciously and spend a wonderful time with family or friends. The atmosphere is simply incredible, cozy, clean, friendly staff, and what delicious food I live far from the establishment, but I have come here many times because I really like it here, and especially this garden with plants and a shop with decor, I am delighted with this cafe!
google avatar

William Thomas C.

Yelp
The food was fabulous. The wait for a drink, not so much. For an appetizer we had Mushroom Soup button mushrooms, cream, olive oil. A very tasty starter. Entrees consisted of a Free-Range Omelet, which features asparagus and camembert inside a fluffy omelet, accompanied by potato hash and simply dressed greens. And the Beet & Burrata Salad with field greens, roasted beets, puffed amaranth, pickled shallots, pomegranate vinaigrette. The two dishes were amazing! We also ordered drinks from the bar with lunch. Those took far too long to arrive at our table. We had finished with our appetizer and drinking what tasted like tap water with our mushroom soup when our drinks finally arrived. To me to appeared that folks dining at the bar where receiving drinks quickly while we waited and waited. To say they are backed up is not acceptable. For what they are charging, it's not my problem, it's theirs. Get the drinks out faster or more orderly. Desert was great. We had S'Mores Bar a Rhubarb Cheesecake. Delicious!!Tsty sweet. Hit the spot! With that was plain coffee and an Iced Lavender White Mocha Latte. Again incredibly good. Service was also good. Fast and knowledgable waitress made it a smooth sit down experience. So, question one.... Is the place worth it? Easily, yes. I would easily go here again. And question two.... Is the wait for drinks worth knocking off a star? Yes. Like I wrote, for what they are charging it's reasonable to knock off a star.

Yelp
I'm really sad to see so many poor reviews because my experience was nothing less than outstanding! Off the bat this place is absolutely beautiful! My friend and I went for her birthday and the waitress was amazing! I wish I could remember her name, but she was super friendly and attentive. She knew the menu very well and made sure to accommodate my allergies. The food was the perfect portion size and tasted fantastic. We went to the garden out back after, where we were also met with aesthetically pleasing views as well as kind and helpful people. I live an hour and a half away from this location but my experience made me want to make it a regular trip. I'm sorry some people had bad experiences but I hope they give this place another shot!
google avatar

Yelp
Visited for the 1st time for my birthday. This place is absolutely amazing!!! The bread in the flower pots...the caramel apple pie chai...the grilled cheese...the cheesecake...the staff...I plan to be back very soon!!

Yelp
My husband and I went to Terrain for date night. The atmosphere was delightful, super intimate, comfortable, and fun. The cocktails were divine and their seasonal options and farm to table inspired dishes were plentiful. We ended up going with our servers recommendation of the scallop entree and short rib entree, both were delicious. Service was great, we ended up going with all recommendations from our server and I am glad we did! What a fun place! The portions were a bit small and menu items were costly so only reason I am not rating it a bit higher.

Hailey L.

Yelp
It was. Look at the menu before you go to make sure you like the food. Services were good. Very pretty dinning area and great gift shop.

Taylor G.

Yelp
The ambiance here is great! It's attached to the store so it's fun to walk around and shop after. We came for brunch this time and I really enjoyed our drinks. The omelet was good, but pretty standard. The complementary bread was great!
google avatar

Yelp
I love it here. And their take out is exceptional too! Food, ambience, service, wine, cocktails, freshness - all A+.

Yelp
Beautiful airy restaurant with greenery everywhere. We went for brunch and since we didn't have a reservation we had to sit at the bar. Our food was really good. Loved the bread in a planter was a cute touch. A lot of the menu is very healthy food. I appreciate that the restaurant works with local farms. I recommend getting a reservation. The only downside was our service. It looked like they were short staffed but I'm not too sure. Had to call the waitress a couple of times to order our food and for our check. Didn't seem too attentive to us. But all in all I would come back to give it another try and to try the items on the menu. The garden shop is also a wonderful place to stop by after your meal
google avatar

Alabamba W.

Yelp
This place is worth the trip for the shopping experience and ambiance. Food is decent, nothing I'd rave about, though. Service is also decent. Can't wait to visit in the Spring when there is outdoor seating

Yelp
Love the idea of a restaurant inside of a Garden Center. Combining two of my favorite pastimes works well for me! I have been here several times bc the atmosphere is very welcoming and stunning. The food is fresh and delicious. Our first experience was not great however. We chalked it up to the "newness " of the restaurant. In reality it was our server that was horrible and ruined it for us. He was cute, personable and adorable but he truly ruined the dining experience for us bc he had to be flagged down for the basics. For example, we asked him three times to bring the forgotten dressing for my friend's salad. We were just about finished eating by the time she got it. That was just one of the MANY mishaps. It is very distracting and disappointing when you spend most of your lunch trying to flag the server down. Still...I waited a few weeks and went back with a different group of girls. Made sure we didn't get that same waiter. We actually had a very good server and a much better dining experience. Stand outs were the cauliflower burger. It wasn't actually a burger...it was a slice of cauliflower, seasoned perfectly and placed on a nice bun. Salmon toast with beets looked delicious and a great choice. Burgers were quite good also. We did not realize there was a $4.00 up charge for fries. Each of us ordered the fries...darn! We easily would have split an order...as it was we all left some on our plate. My Blueberry Smash cocktail was quite good. Thought it would be too sweet however it was just right and a nice choice for a lunch cocktail. The second time I ordered the same cocktail it was a noticeably larger/double pour than my first one. The restaurant is very noisy. It is always packed. Reservations are a must otherwise you may not get a table. After lunch we ventured into the garden center. I don't think it is open after dinner which is the reason I prefer lunch. It is very enjoyable to stroll around and see all of the beautiful displays, unique gift items and plants. Prices are a bit too high end for me which stopped me from buying a bunch of things. Overall, I look forward to my next lunch visit...it has so much potential.

Yelp
I came here after seeing so many videos online of the beautiful space. That aspect of terrain definitely lives up to the hype. I think the food was ok but mostly I would come back for the ambiance. It would be a good spot to have brunch with some girlfriends. The store attached is also very cute.
google avatar

Emily W.

Yelp
A lovely new location! Definitely make a reservation especially on a weekend - they get packed! The vibes are perfect, menu is full of delicious options and service was good. Also leave yourself time to shop around the market! So many great plant, home item and gift finds!

Yelp
I was shocked to see such low-rated reviews of this place! I previously visited the Glen Mills location, and the Doylestown location did not disappoint. I came for brunch at 11 AM on a weekday. Service was very prompt, and the interior is just beautiful. Accommodating for larger and smaller groups. We ordered the French toast, green chickpea hummus, and the Terrain breakfast. For drinks, we had a seasonal marshmallow latte and an iced latte with oat milk. Food was delicious, drinks were good, no complaints here. Definitely a bit more on the pricier side but still manageable prices with most dishes under $20 for brunch.

Yelp
beautiful space ! great lighting and ambiance. beautiful floral arrangements all over. the food was so good. the mushroom soup was my favorite ! we had many bites and that was of the best. i had a lavender white mocha latte which was delicious.

Yelp
Ughhh that was pretty brutal. Wife and I came in for a late lunch/early dinner. We sat at the bar and it took about 10 min to be greeted. A lot of staff standing around, the one working was getting annoyed. She ended up helping us when she had a moment. Ordered drinks and an app. Then we were ghosted again. Had to flag someone down who was in the middle of a conversation with a coworker. We ordered a burger with avo and bacon, and a burata salad..... you guessed it, burger came out with no avo or bacon. I watched the server go to the computer and talk to a coworker. It clearly wasn't entered correctly. Then we had to flag someone down again for the check. My wife and I were laughing like we were getting punked or something. We sat at the bar to get good friendly service. No one was friendly. Didn't ask how we were doing or even try and chit chat a little. It seemed like we were an annoyance. 2 stars bc the burger and fries were good and maybe it was an off night. But idk if I'll be back to test it out. That was pretty rough.

Yelp
My daughter just had her wedding April 25 at the Terrain in Doylestown. Everything from the setting up till the end taken down was phenomenal. Madison and her assistances Had things very organized. The food was amazing not one complaint! I loved every appetizer, dessert and entrée .The place was gorgeous. Everyone from the people at the bar the people setting up to the waitress and waiters did such an amazing job! We also have rehearsal dinner there and same thing food atmosphere top-notch. I give everything a 10. Terrain gave us a lifetime of memories!

Yelp
Service was poor. We placed our order and waited 35 minutes to receive it. We received our food first and not our appetizer because the waitress forgot. Every time I asked for a coffee refill it took 15 minutes. My sister asked for over hard eggs, she got over easy eggs so we asked to cook them longer. We walked in at 12:30pm and walked out at 3:00pm. The food was good or I'd give a lower number, but the poor service was the biggest complaint and left the biggest impact.

Yelp
I've eaten at Terrain several times, and can honestly say that this is one of the few places I simply do not like in Doylestown. The ambience is crazy cute, but the food is consistently...subpar? Overseasoned? Something about it is just not my cup of tea. I'm not someone who writes reviews frequently, but I felt the need to after having my 4th meal from Terrain and ultimately being dissatisfied. There are many other places in Doylestown I'd recommend before Terrain.

Yelp
This farm-to-table restaurant located at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown is gorgeous, especially the outdoor patio where we dined. The patio is partially covered and has fans blowing, so it's protected from rain and heat in the summer. Indoor seating is just as beautiful! The food is fresh and delicious. For lunch, I had the Whole Wheat Campanelle Pasta, a tasty combination of pasta, kale, zucchini and cheese in a light tomato butter sauce. The servings aren't stingy; I took some home to enjoy the next day. We ordered a plate of truffle french fries for the table; they were very good, but a little bland for my taste. The freshly baked bread is served in the terracotta flower pot it's apparently baked in. Nice touch, and tasty bread served with basil-infused butter. Service is a bit slow but the staff is very pleasant. I look forward to returning.

Yelp
I've been to their other locations and this is their newest in PA. I haven't had a bad experience at any of their other ones, so it's kinda sad to see and read that people didn't have a good experience at this one. We did have a reservation and I can agree that it did take some time to be seated when we saw plenty of seating. Other than waiting to be seated we came with a stroller and we were actually seated outside where we saw other people dining with babies in their strollers. I can tell you that the space gets kinda tight especially being seated near everyone with children. The space itself is very nice inside and outside of the restaurant. The food was also good. No complaints on our main dishes. We always look forward to the butter we get and this time we got a I think black cherry butter.. so delicious that we asked for another one.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant but slow service and so so food for the $$$ Party of 6. Waiter seemed in a hurry. Took half the drink orders. And left before asking if anyone else wanted another. Steaks were tuff. Fish was good but small portions for $. Quinoa bowl was spicy and pretty good when th chicken on top. Drinks were very tiny for 14 dollars!

Yelp
Okay, so I'm ashamed to admit that after living here six years I never heard of the place. This review is twofold. The store we stopped in a couple weeks ago. A friend was in town and someone suggested that we go to the store, her being into gardening. What an exceptional place. The store was loaded with gifts and holiday decorations. If a staff member sees you with items in your basket they offer to take it to the counter and set up another basket of your items so you don't have to carry them around. EVERYONE that worked there was accommodating to the point that one staff member climbed on a table to cut down a display ornament because they were unable to locate any others. This week we decided to return for lunch. The restaurant is beautiful like eating in an outdoor garden. The staff, again, was exceptional and the food excellent. I would highly recommend it. I cannot wait for summer to see what they do then.
