Best Fall Restaurant Dishes in Bucks County

"Terrain Cafe in Doylestown brings the fall flavors to the table with its beef short rib entree, a savory serving of beef topped with a red wine demi-glace and accompanied by Parisian gnocchi and baby carrots. Be sure to check out the cafe’s garden cocktail list and seasonal alcohol-free beverage offerings to find one that complements your meal." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

Came here for the first time. My wife was here once before and always wanted us to come and eat here. Well, they have definitely done well and we loved the food! The atmosphere is amazing in this restaurant! Service was outstanding, food came out super fast and the restaurant was 80% full or so, we were pleasantly surprised! Definitely recommend this place! Would come again!

What a gem! Beautiful surroundings, interesting food (in the best way!), great service, and prices in line with quality of food. Can't wait to go back and sample other items on the menu. I had the shrimp and grits today and highly recommend. My friend had the grilled cheese and loved that as well. Great server too!

Phenomenal food, atmosphere, and service! We went for brunch on our first wedding anniversary and they treated us so well. You can clearly taste that everything is fresh, and there are unique but delicious flavors. I loved the ice blueberry pie chai latte — so refreshing! I also got the stone fruit brioche French toast and ate every bite. I can’t wait to go back again to try more dishes! The bread also comes out in an adorable pot and is warm and fresh with a specialty butter. The cafe and store is also so beautifully designed! And the bathrooms were also so clean and had great products in there! We will definitely be back! Apparently Wednesday nights are Happy Hour with live music so I’d love to do that one day, too.

Enjoyed my first visit for dinner & cocktails. Beautifully decorated. The bread baked & served in flower pots a quaint touch for delicious bread. Cocktails tasted great. I had the spicey pineapple Margarita. However, only a few sips to glass because mostly ice cubes. That is my only complaint.

I’m do in love with this place! Every time we visit friends, this a must stop. The food is extraordinary, prices affordable and the atmosphere amazing. Inside or outside both places are beautifully decorated. Food, dessert and drinks are fresh and tasteful. The staff more than friendly. I suggest to make a reservation ahead. Also to visit their shop which offers a variety of plants and gifts. A must visit if you are near Doylestown.

This has become one of our favorite places to go. The atmosphere is great and it’s never too loud (at least when we’ve gone). For breakfast: there’s a wide variety. I’ve gotten the French toast and the terrain breakfast in the past and have loved both. My boyfriend has gotten the Shakshuka option as well and loved it. This has really become our favorite breakfast spot! For dinner: if you’re not a fan of Fish or vegetarian options, I almost wouldn’t recommend coming here for dinner. At the moment there’s: one burger option, one chicken option, a steak frites option, and chipotle pork tenderloin. My boyfriend had the tenderloin and wasn’t a fan of the grit cake that was on the bottom. I’ve always gotten the salmon and love it. Their drinks whether you’re getting them off the alcohol side, or if you’re getting a coffee are always really good. I personally get an iced mocha latte when I’m there for breakfast. For dinner I’ve gotten the Raspberry Prosecco Smash which was great as well. We love that the menu changes seasonally and that they work with Del Val as well! Overall, from the 5 times we’ve done so far service has always been great, food is always quick to come out, and always tastes great.

We enjoyed the shakshuka, an omelette, and a couple of signature lattes for brunch on Sunday, along with the budino, which we took home. Everything was delicious. The skylights and plants make it bright and inviting. And of course we spent an hour shopping afterwards. Can’t wait to come back and try lunch or dinner!

Beautiful airy restaurant with greenery everywhere. We went for brunch and since we didn’t have a reservation we had to sit at the bar. Our food was really good. Loved the bread in a planter was a cute touch. A lot of the menu is very healthy food. I appreciate that the restaurant works with local farms. I recommend getting a reservation. The only downside was our service. It looked like they were short staffed but I’m not too sure. Had to call the waitress a couple of times to order our food and for our check. Didn’t seem too attentive to us. But all in all I would come back to give it another try and to try the items on the menu. The garden shop is also a wonderful place to stop by after your meal.
