"In its first year, Terranaut has won a frenzy of awards for its beer including first place awards at the 2025 Oregon Beer Awards and recognition as the 2025 Small Size Brewery of the Year at the Best of Craft Beer awards. Owners Peter Brantley and Katie Dunbar, paired up with 10 Barrel veteran brewer master Bryon Pyka known for his innovative post-fermentation flavoring and base beers. The ever-changing lineup includes the Gold Medal-winning Karo Ya Maro, a mango lassi-inspired sour that won in the experimental beer category. While many other award winners may be sold out, check out the new offerings that are bound to win awards, too. The tasting room has a homey garage feel with corrugated steel walls covered in stained pallet wood and paper lanterns floating overhead. Chef Joey Lander, formerly with Zydeco Kitchen, offers sustenance from The Landing food truck, offering Carolina barbecue with a secret ingredient that adds flavor complexity (shh, it’s curry). Holy buckets this place was my favorite brewery in bend and that’s an uphill climb. I was visiting maybe I should move to bend so I can Kolsch service Sunday! It was so much fun, the beer was delicious and the taproom was so well done. I went during my kids nap and I get that having kids is a good option I do wish I could have the kiddos tag along. Clean beer, full rack of kolsch can’t lose!

Stopped in after following the progress for a couple of months. Got three 5 oz pours and a taster of the beer and absolutely loved the place. Bryon and Katie were both very engaging and it was enjoyable to talk beer while drinking it without feeling like a beer dork. The atmosphere is very cozy and colorful and I greatly enjoyed the music from the record player as well as the comfort of the surroundings. Will I be back? Yes. I have been back regularly since posting the above. Still awesome! Also met Pete finally, so I think that's the trifecta! Awesome to have a new brewery in town with passionate people and great beer. Cheers!

Great selection of beers, favorites included For Pete's Sake, an Extra Special Better and the Leave it B, the American Ale. Loved the chill and friendly vibe, always nice when you get a chance to chat with others and celebrate the local brewery culture. Kudos on the new space, bonus was getting a couple of beers to take home.

Great atmosphere with a good beer selection. They even have cider, seltzer and NA beer options. Love the decorations. They have games you can play and indoor and outdoor seating. They even brought out a little propane fire at night for us. There’s a good bbq food truck on site as well.

Update 2/2025. Still awesome. And I just realized all the music played is on vinyl, rad. Fresh cool and hip. Another nice startup with great ideas. Solid selection of crafts that will please any palette. Small and inviting commercial space with tons of afternoon sun out front. Friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. Ample off street parking. I'll stop in for a pint from time to time.

Great little tap room, nicely decorated and cozy. All the beers are spot on to style with some creative and award winning brews. NA, ciders and seltzers in cans. Outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Food truck. Their license doesn't allow for kiddos but doggos are welcome. Definitely a nee favorite for me!

This brewery is making waves, not just in Bend, but across the country. I had the pleasure of meeting the brewer/owner at a competition beforehand and it was great to hear about his history and the brewery itself. It's a small spot in an easy-to-find industrial area. Cozy lighting and colorful artwork makes the high ceiling warehouse vibe comfortable and welcoming. I also love the National Park inspired logo. On arrival the bartender remembered me from another event the year prior, which made the visit instantly welcoming and pleasant. The beer styles and descriptions were no-nonsense and everything we tried was excellent. It was a popular spot even on a snowy weekday. If you're doing the Bend Ale Trail, this is a newer stop added, there are others nearby too. I look forward to seeing this one grow, and already looking forward to visiting again soon.

Really enjoyed this spot! Very hipster Oregon feeling. The beer was tasty. Definitely fills up fast but we were able to get a table. All music was played from vinyl which is really cool. At least 10 different beers available to try. In a random industry area but definitely a fun spot.

Bend is packed with great breweries, and this is right at the top. I enjoyed a flight and each selection was to-notch. Also enjoyed talking to the owner, who has a very interesting backstory (won't spoil it here). This may be in an industrial area and a bit out of the way, but it has its charms and, again, the beer is fantastic.

This a newer nano brewery in NE Bend. It is a small, location in a small industrial area...one space is the brewery and the neighboring space is the tap house. In speaking with one of the three owners, the spaces were previously used by two other breweries that have moved into larger space and succeeded. I wish them luck because the beer was fantastic. This current spot is comfortable. Some inside and outside seating. Dog friendly. And they had some NA and gluten free options. We will be adding this to our "must stop" list for future visits.

Too early to say for sure but Terranaut seems like a winner. The beer is very good, the folks running the operation are great and the space - although small - is really nice. A lot of thought went into the design. I predict they will have to expand soon based on the number of patrons on a mid-afternoon Sunday.

This is our new go to on the east side for beer. The beer is fantastic! Every beer on their list is unique and amazing. The ambience is relaxing, and overall a great place to have an amazing beer with good friends. Support local!
