I had my bridal shower at Terrasse Carla this past weekend and it was an absolute dream! They were there to help every step of the way with the planning and were very helpful throughout the whole process. On the day of the event, everything went beautifully and they were so accommodating! It was an extremely hot day and they provided 3 huge fans for all our guests to feel as comfortable as possible. They even added more tables and chairs than we had originally asked for to accommodate additional guests. The service was impeccable! We had asked for a buffet brunch for the event and the spread was amazing! Tons of fresh pastries, bagels, eggs, bacon, sausages, baguettes, a bunch of fresh fruit and delicious cheeses. All in all, I would highly recommend Terrasse Carla for all events! The view and the vibe were spectacular!

The ambiance and atmosphere were undeniably pleasant, creating a welcoming setting. The menu offered some original dishes, though I felt they lacked the refinement one might expect at this price point. Unfortunately, the service was notably slow and did not meet expectations. That said, the venue itself boasts a fantastic location—ideal for a relaxed evening on the terrace or a casual birthday gathering.

I recently dined at Carla and had a very mixed experience. The food was absolutely delicious—kudos to the kitchen team for delivering such great flavors. The rooftop setting is also a highlight, offering a cool and vibrant atmosphere. However, the service was hands down the worst I’ve ever experienced in Montreal. No one came to our table for long stretches, and I had to repeatedly get up to find the waitress just to place an order, ask for water or drinks, and even to get the bill. It was frustrating and completely unacceptable, especially for a restaurant associated with the Hilton brand, which I’ve always associated with exceptional service. Honestly, the service was so poor that they might be better off switching to a quick-service model where customers order at a counter and pick up their meals themselves. At least that way, expectations would be clear. It’s a shame because the food and ambiance have so much potential, but the service really drags the experience down. I hope they address this issue soon because it’s not what I’d expect from a Hilton property.

The space was set up perfectly, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. It was a particularly hot day, and they thoughtfully provided three large fans to help keep everyone comfortable. Even though we had planned for a stand-up cocktail-style event, they kindly added extra tables and chairs to ensure our guests were comfortable - something we truly appreciated! We opted for a buffet brunch, and the spread exceeded all expectations! Fresh croissants, bagels, eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, fruit etc. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The bar was also well-stocked with refreshing mimosas and fruit cocktails that added to the festive vibe. On top of that, the staff were incredibly attentive with water service, constantly replenishing our glasses to keep everyone cool and hydrated throughout the afternoon. If you’re looking for a stunning venue with exceptional service for your next event, whether it’s a party or a corporate gathering, I definitely recommend Terrasse Carla. Worth every penny!

Their attentiveness truly stood out. The food was also delicious and generous, and the spread was beautifully presented. All in all, a fantastic experience. I recently attended a bridal shower at Terrasse Carla, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it for hosting special events like this. If you’re considering planning a bridal shower here, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere. The space was cramped, hot, and poorly ventilated — they had only one fan for an entire group of guests, which made things uncomfortable from the start. The staff seemed completely unprepared and disorganized. There weren’t enough tables set up, and we had to wait while they scrambled to bring more in after guests had already arrived. It felt like nothing was ready beforehand. We had to repeatedly ask just to get basic things like water, and even when we asked for coffee, the server said she’d come back and never did. It was frustrating to have to keep chasing down the staff for such simple requests. Another concern was the food setup — the cheese platter had clearly been sitting out in the heat for far too long, with no proper covering or ventilation. It didn’t look fresh or safe to eat, especially in such warm conditions. To make matters worse, they served bagels without any cream cheese or spreads, which just felt like a careless oversight, especially for a brunch-style bridal shower. The overall presentation and attention to detail were really disappointing. Overall, it felt like the team wasn’t equipped to handle a group event, and it really took away from what should have been a special and memorable day. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve for future events.

We had my sister’s bridal shower here this past weekend and it was a huge success! Everything was fantastic. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, the set up and decor was beautiful, the food was delicious and the overall vibe exceeded all of our expectations. I would highly recommend this location to host any type of event - the rooftop view alone is the best in Montreal! Thank you so much to the entire staff for making my sister’s day so special!!!

I had an absolutely wonderful evening at Carla! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with great music and a cozy ambiance. But what truly made the experience special was the service. A huge thank you to the amazing barmaid, Amy Murray, who went above and beyond to make our night memorable. She was friendly, attentive, her positive energy really added to the whole experience. We’ll definitely be back soon, and we’ll be looking forward to seeing our friend Amy behind the bar again!

It wasn't terrible, but not anything to write home about. But here I am writing about it. This is an odd place for a "nightclub" like atmosphere half way between 2 hotels in the same building with a "rooftop-like" bar and some eats. I stopped in the night I checked into the hotel. It was getting late, I was tired, I just wanted a cocktail and unwind, it was close to closing time and it was kinda loud. I sat at the bar, it was slightly crowded and the bartenders were busy. I waited for a menu and to order and for my drink. The bartender who was handling my order was cute and nice but the spritz I ordered wasn't great. He also didn't know that they had coconut water (one of the ingredients in the cocktail I ordered)....he initially said they didn't have it. Then he said he would go check to see if they had it. And right there in the fridge was the coconut water. He made the drink. I drank it. Although it was a rather large cocktail, I brought the rest to my room to finish it there. It's open Wednesday through Sunday 4 pm - 10 pm. I can imagine it could impact some people's quiet time if they are near this "rooftop" lounge as the music is loud. I was on the 10th floor, I didn't hear a peep (although I did hear a lot of traffic, but not related to this spot or review). Most of the patrons were very young. So I was just probably in the wrong place. But, I wouldn't come back unless I was staying in the hotel and just wanted a cocktail and too tired to go anywhere else.

It is definitely a beautiful location! Ambiance was nice, house music playing on the Saturday night which was a nice vibe. We were a group of 15 people and unfortunately service was not good. 4 hours for a full service which was way too long between courses. Food and drinks were good but nothing outstanding. I would go back for a 5 a 7 but not a full dinner service.

Overall I'd give it a 3,5. You go to Terrasse Carla for the view and the ambiance, certainly not for the food. We ordered Parmesan fries, rolls, the dessert and two drinks. I had an amaretto sour that was ok. The parmesan fries were very oily probably from the truffle oil. The only dessert on the menu was popsicles... Overall it really felt like Costco food... The waitress was very professional and kind, but umm I have to say that we felt really rushed to leave our table, someone came to take my drink before I had even finished it. I won't be back but it's good to try at least once.

God awful. Performative with bad food and weak drinks. Spend your money elsewhere. On top of a Hampton hotel. Way better places in the city.

I'm not sure what was worse, the food or the service. Although located on a rooftop, the view wasn't great and it's by the ongoing construction on St. Laurent. We had much better experiences at all of the other restaurants we visited so far in Montreal.
