"In the heart of Sorrento, a delightful garden leads like a long corridor up to the entrance of the Excelsior Vittoria, one of the most iconic hotels on the Sorrentine peninsula, where this gourmet restaurant sets out its tables on a panoramic terrace as soon as the weather allows (otherwise, guests eat indoors). Here, chef Antonino Montefusco prepares various tasting menus (including a vegetarian option) with dishes inspired by recipes and ingredients from Campania, all reinterpreted with an elegant, aesthetic touch. There’s an extensive wine list, including an excellent choice of wines by the glass." - Michelin Inspector

13 Ingredients Chefs are Prioritizing in 2024

"Lemons are the symbol of Sorrento, my native town. Lemons from Sorrento are unique: the scent, the flavor but also the therapeutic properties. They can be considered a healthy food: rich in Vitamin C, mineral salts such as phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, and zinc. They are also rich in antioxidants and are detoxifying too: a panacea."

The service was truly excellent - special thanks to our waiter Alexander, who did a fantastic job and made us feel very well taken care of. The view was stunning, no doubt about that. But when it comes to the food… there are some questions. The dishes didn’t quite deliver the kind of flavor explosion one might hope for at this level. Some elements lacked clarity, and I didn’t notice any particularly bold or memorable choices in the menu. I wouldn’t call the food outstanding - rather, it was a good dinner, but not a wow experience. When we choose a Michelin-starred restaurant, we expect not only refined technique and beautiful plating, but also a kind of emotional impact - something we can’t easily find in a regular dining experience. And in that sense, our expectations weren’t fully met.

From Miami to NY and all in between, this is the most artistic, well planned, extravagant meal I’ve ever had. -we went with the medium corse which was plenty -highly encourage you to eat slow, enjoy the flavors and truly get your pallet to find them -evening time was awesome -first few sets were my favorite because he played with simple taste like Cesar salad but did it Picasso style and packed a punch -reviews speak for itself Chef we greatly appreciate the honor of being able to spend our anniversary at your restaurant. We took a sealed menu and will open it on the next 15 years if our marriage. Thank you!

Google
Wonderful tasting menu in the heart of Sorrento. Food was unique and presented well. Like most tasting menus, 1-2 courses were a bit less special, but the magical view compensates. I’d try and get a table overlooking the water, but even views from the back are special. Arrive 10 min early as it can be a bit of a challenge to find.

Impeccable service and tastes. It’s well worth all praises for both the chefs and the service staff. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a special night out. Ask the great servers for recommendations to match your tastes.

Google
Incredible tasting menu, we had the vegetarian version. The dishes sound deceptively simple but are in fact very creatively and beautifully presented. The service was also great and as far as tasting menus in Europe go, we felt this restaurant had top notch service, unique food, and was worth the price. If you have dietary requirements, please explicitly share these when you first arrive, as the 'surprise dishes' start before you are even seated.

We had a magical evening with the team at Terrazza Bosquet. What’s stuck with me? The most was how the dishes captured the local influence— Fresh fish, silky produce, and fantastic Italian wine. Would highly recommend.

We had the absolute pleasure of dining here to celebrate our engagement, and it could not have been more perfect. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and truly made us feel celebrated. The food was not only delicious but also incredibly unique, offering a full experience with every course. Each dish was crafted with such creativity that it felt like a journey rather than just a meal. To make the evening even more special, we were seated at what truly felt like the best spot in the house, with a breathtaking view that set the perfect backdrop for the night. Every detail, from the atmosphere to the presentation, made this dinner unforgettable. It wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience we will cherish forever. Thank you Lisa for making us feel welcomed. Thank you Giovanny for assisting with the reservation. Thank you Francesco for the impeccable service and kindness!

Service was excellent, atmosphere was fabulous, food presentation excellent but….. food was tasteless. Not Michelin star quality. Michelin, double check this place.

Yelp
Terrazza Bosquet showcased an amount of creativity and skill with their lengthy tasting menu. I was impressed by the detail of the dishes and the amount of work that went into them. I was in awe with every bite! The atmosphere is a little dark and the lighting accentuated the food. But this was orchestrated to not distract from what's in front of you. Overall it was an unforgettable experience with a beautiful ambience and very attentive staff. Best Michelin Star restaurant in Sorrento! Thank you to Lisa, Giovanni, and the rest of staff for their excellent customer service and for making our last night in Sorrento memorable.

Yelp
Terrazza Bosquet was our splurge for this trip and boy was it worth it. I'm not posh in any way, shape or form but I do love experiences like this and have worked at luxury properties, so even thought I felt a bit uncomfortable (as did my hubby) this place is truly special because they do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable. Walking in was a bit awkward because I was pronouncing the name so wrong and obviously we don't dress like the other people in the room. I'm over here in my Old Navy dress and orthopedic sandals and my husband is wearing his 2 year old Under Armor running shoes that NEED to be tossed in the trash and jeans that have a hole in the crotch (oopsie!), while the couple sitting next to me had at least $3000 worth of clothes on their body, not including jewelry. However, we were never made to feel this way by the staff. They were all welcoming and charming, especially our main server who made us really comfortable by telling us funny stories of his day. This really helped let our guard down and we very much enjoyed the rest of the evening. This is Michelin starred service. We were a bit disappointed right before we showed up because the restaurant informed us that the terrace was closed due to high winds. I really wanted to be outside and see the sunset. Sadness. However, to make up for it, they do have these large windows that overlook the water. I can't say it was just as beautiful as being outside, but it was very lovely. Another note regarding communication, we did get a lot of messages and calls from this place. We confirmed our reservation like 3 or 4 times. The last being a call from the restaurant reminding us, yet again, of the dress code. That I did find odd. Now to the food... We got the Profane with wine pairings. It was supposed to be 5 wine pairings but I think they gave us more than that (and no more than I agree to showed up on the bill.) It's a lot of food and we were stuffed by the end of the night but it was absolutely gorgeous. I would absolutely come back to try the other menus, and heck, even have the Profane again. All of the food was so thoughtful and prepared stunningly, both visually and flavorfully. If there was anything I'd change, it would be to not get the cheese course. But honestly, I'm also happy we did get it. The curated wines here and the passion in which they serve them was quite amazing too. Of everything I tasted, I only recognized the name of like 3, so they felt special and unique and I very much enjoyed that. So worth the additional cost.

Yelp
Incredible food and service. The staff was welcoming from the start and very attentive. We chose the SACRED tasting menu and we were not disappointed.

Yelp
This is best dining experience I've ever had. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by my last name. The most stunning views during sunset. The service is impeccable. True Michelin star deserved. I had one of the tasting menus. Every dish was presented in such a unique way. Even the bread is delicious. I can't even remember what I had. I feel like I had a blind tasting. The restaurant is in a nice upscale hotel. Tomasso, Giovanni and Giuseppe made the experience that much more special. It's pricey but just go. When will you be in sorrento again at this restaurant? It's worth it

Yelp
A few weeks ago my husband made a reservation via their website/OpenTable. We just got back from there to be told our reservation was cancelled. They claimed to attempt to reach my husband numerous times using the Italian country code (*eyes roll*) so of course he never got the call. Would they think to contact him via email, the same way our reservation confirmation was sent to us. They were not yet busy at 1945 but we were told they would not accommodate us and turned away. Awful service.

Yelp
One word: spectacular. We came in June 2019 and arrived via boat from Capri to the stunning Excelsior Victoria hotel. This historic hotel and restaurant is perched atop a cliff in beautiful Sorrento. We took an elevator all the way to the top of the hotel and the view from Terrazza Bosquet was simply breathtaking. We had one long gorgeous table set up on the terrace for our large party. We had panoramic views of Sorrento Bay from every angle. Our lunch was pre-set with multiple courses since we were there for a private party. This is a Michelin starred restaurant so expect impeccable service and delicious food. The dishes are also made from produce sourced from the hotel's garden (I suggest exploring the beautiful hotel's property). One of the standout dishes was the saffron risotto. Terrazza Bosquet was one of the most memorable dinning experience and I highly recommend dinning and staying here. It is worth staying one night in the charming town of Sorrento and just meander around town.

Yelp
Michellin star restaurant on the coast of Sorrento looking out to mount vesuvius. Stunning views and creative, flavorful, if somewhat tiny plates. Expensive by any standards, when factoring in serving size but the experience elevates it beyond that critique. 5 stars is really in part the view -- 4 stars if at this price anywhere else. Absolutely a place we will return.

Yelp
The service, views, and food is unparalleled. We went here for my birthday and I can honestly say it was one of the best culinary experiences of my life. The wait staff was by far the most attentive I have ever encountered. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Amazing 1 Michelin star restaurant in Sorrento, Italy. We watched the sunset as they served us champagne. Dinner was amazing, service was amazing, it was so romantic!
