Terrazza Bosquet was our splurge for this trip and boy was it worth it. I'm not posh in any way, shape or form but I do love experiences like this and have worked at luxury properties, so even thought I felt a bit uncomfortable (as did my hubby) this place is truly special because they do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable.
Walking in was a bit awkward because I was pronouncing the name so wrong and obviously we don't dress like the other people in the room. I'm over here in my Old Navy dress and orthopedic sandals and my husband is wearing his 2 year old Under Armor running shoes that NEED to be tossed in the trash and jeans that have a hole in the crotch (oopsie!), while the couple sitting next to me had at least $3000 worth of clothes on their body, not including jewelry. However, we were never made to feel this way by the staff. They were all welcoming and charming, especially our main server who made us really comfortable by telling us funny stories of his day. This really helped let our guard down and we very much enjoyed the rest of the evening. This is Michelin starred service.
We were a bit disappointed right before we showed up because the restaurant informed us that the terrace was closed due to high winds. I really wanted to be outside and see the sunset. Sadness. However, to make up for it, they do have these large windows that overlook the water. I can't say it was just as beautiful as being outside, but it was very lovely. Another note regarding communication, we did get a lot of messages and calls from this place. We confirmed our reservation like 3 or 4 times. The last being a call from the restaurant reminding us, yet again, of the dress code. That I did find odd.
Now to the food... We got the Profane with wine pairings. It was supposed to be 5 wine pairings but I think they gave us more than that (and no more than I agree to showed up on the bill.) It's a lot of food and we were stuffed by the end of the night but it was absolutely gorgeous. I would absolutely come back to try the other menus, and heck, even have the Profane again. All of the food was so thoughtful and prepared stunningly, both visually and flavorfully. If there was anything I'd change, it would be to not get the cheese course. But honestly, I'm also happy we did get it.
The curated wines here and the passion in which they serve them was quite amazing too. Of everything I tasted, I only recognized the name of like 3, so they felt special and unique and I very much enjoyed that. So worth the additional cost.
