⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ High value option given the relative low cost for the quality. We ordered a handful of tapas dishes and a cocktail, and were pleased with everything except the fish tacos. Just didn’t resonate with us, but we don’t each much seafood so we are by no means experts on what is good or bad, especially in this particular area. Highly recommend the fried pizza and meatballs. Great view when you sit outside, but inside has modern, stylish ambience. Would return.

The food was not bad, and we were welcomed very nicely. But during the meal, they forgot to bring some of the extra items we ordered. Overall, it was okay — not bad, but not great either.

Very basic food that did not taste well atall. .service is very slow. Bring you own food, I don't recommend eating there.

Gallia Restaurant Breakfast in Excelsior Hotel Gallia, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan It is an Italian and international cuisine restaurant on the ground floor of the Gallia Hotel. As a benefit for Marriott Platinum Members, there is an option to choose, either 1000 point per stay or the complimentary Breakfast for 2 people every day (06:00 - 10:30) It has luxurious ambience, the variety and qualriy of dishes as well as its taste are good. It sould have been much better if the menu for hot dishes would change day by day, because I stayed there for 3 days but should enjoy similar (or same) dishes every day.

Dinner at the Gallia restaurant was exceptional. My husband and I had the Mediterranean tasting menu and it was above expectations. The wine list had a very wide selection and the service was impeccable! We were lucky to be served by Marta who took care of every request efficiently and professionally. Highly recommend this wonderful place for a special and enjoyable evening. Thanks to all the staff at the restaurant and terrace who did a fantastic job.

Service is absurdily high end, good so! The food is a bit bland, good quality ingredients but the taste is not really there. The view is beautiful... If you stand. If you sit, there's a black piece of wood that hides the best. The actual restaurant has few small small windows, so we opted for the prettier outside. Cocktails good! Music relaxing. Not too cold with 17 degrees as they switch on the heaters. I think the terrasse is perfect for a standing party but for a romantic dinner it's a tad under my expectations. Idea: what about some wood banks that make (some of) the tables and sittings higher so that you have always the view?

Really nice location with beautiful view from the terrace, service very very accurate, good staff! Food exquisite with really beautiful presentation!

Amazing cuisine, top service, great atmosphere. Not expensive for such a high quality. The restaurant is for those who appreciate genuine restaurants.

This is the rooftop lunch and dinner restaurant at the Marriot Excelsior Hotel Gallia, part of the luxury collection. We had a hotel credit to use in the restaurant which was good because it was a little pricy but in the end it was well worth it. We sat outside with a view of Milano Centrale lit up at night. We were not terribly hungry but in dire need of a glass of wine. I've never had a bad wine in Italy but these were good. We were brought and amuse bouche and we opted for an antipasto plate with bread and local prosciutto. We just can't get the quality meats here in the states. It was a lovely meal made special because of the view.

Restaurant - 5 stars for excellent staff services! Zero (0) stars for food. The menu selection's limited. Both Risotto and pasta undercooked, hard and grainy. They asked, we hesitantly said undercooked cuz it was really really that bad, not only uncooked but zero flavor. We normally don't provide negatively critic, it just ruins the mood, They complimented a dessert for that but then our bill charged with 2 Pellegrino when we ordered 1. Am sure it was just an honest mistake but just the irony of it. We just paid the bill and left. The bar area - excellent service, nice ambiance, though not a "roof top" but rather outdoor sitting with ceiling over your head, with heating lamps. Nice city view and Milan Grand Centrale. Saturday ambiance lively vibe with good music and drinks, Sunday night music volume lowered but still enjoyable. Enjoying hotel (Excelsior) stay but definitely will have to look for another restaurant options.

Amazing views of the city from the rooftop patio (limited seating for drinks only I believe( and five star food. Service was on the slow side for a small restaurant of this caliber but if your staying at Excelsior Hotel Gallup this is a solid convenient choice.

Great location and view of the train station. Good is great - an innovative take on classics. Service could have been better. Lots of servers standing around and no one checking to refill glasses. They also forgot our coffee.

The first thing I recognized was the hostess was very nice. That's a plus for a place like this in Milan (lol). The 2nd thing I noticed was the ambiance. The hotel is sort of flashy, the other people staying at the hotel I noticed were the type you'd find at the four seasons Dubai, high rolling in Macau or partying at the cosmopolitan (do I need to go further?) so the clientele at the rooftop is very similar. The ambiance is very much like being at le chandelier at cosmopolitan in Vegas. Lastly after I waited for a table out in the terrace and was finally seated I noticed the waiter was taking forever to take my order. I got my drinks right away but the drink order was wrong. Didn't mind waiting the olives were very delicious and I had a great view of the piazzale in front of the centrale. When I looked at the menu to be honest although there is gluten free pasta available it didn't feel like I had the choices I wanted that evening to keep my diet in check so I decided to in the politest way leave the restaurant. .....Then the strangest thing happened the men who worked there didn't want me to go and urged I stay and order something. The inside of the bar and lounge was 100% empty and it was a weekday so I understand as it's not like Milan nightlife is that happening these days. And the terrace is narrow so maybe there wasn't as much customers. Culturally, Milanese people are more confrontational and rude without realizing it, but this is a whole nother category of its own, this was very scary for me as a single traveler who was staying at the hotel. I was very much in shock. It was super late and since I didn't want to walk outside where the milano centrale (train station) is as it's the landmark that attracts seedy people, I stayed only bc it was already late and not safe to walk around. But I then didn't enjoy my meal. I never been forced by an restaurant to stay. That is terrible customer service and no shame. I don't know if they asked I stay to prove they had great dinner to offer (it was fine but Not memorable) or bc of pride but I was very shaken up. I know in Italy men tend to be the waitstaff but for a hotel like the they should learn to make guests feel at home. For this alone ill never recommend his hotel nor go near this hotel again. I actually have a travel blog and this is my secret account. Im giving 2 stars for those who may actually like this place... maybe locals will be okay with it too bc again Milan is not known for their customer service (I lived in Liguria and Tuscany and other parts of Italy Throughout my life so I can say this).... But this place is not for me not my friends and family. The view is great and maybe during the daytime for a lite meal it would be more pleasant on the terrace.

Love this rooftop bar! Great people, awesome music and vibes! Amazing drinks and food! Recommend it 100% waiter and hostess are very friendly
