Terre Blanche (Tourrettes, French Riviera / Provence) Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"From a certain perspective, Terre Blanche looks like another picturesque Provençal village, all sun-washed stone exteriors and winding tree-line paths, among the ancient Roman hill towns of the Pays de Fayence. Look a little closer, however, and the former Four Seasons resort (now independent) turns out to be anything but rustic, the sleeping quarters ranging from sunny, well-appointed suites to villas that live up to their name, the grounds home to everything from a secluded standalone spa to a pair of championship-caliber golf courses." - Tablet Hotels

Terre Blanche Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort | World's best golf hotels and resorts

"Only 45 minutes from Nice Airport, the 115 suites and villas of Terre Blanche are designed to replicate a Provencal village, hidden away between cypress trees and woodland. The aroma of herbs and oleander is everywhere; the gardens beyond the pathways a lush, natural habit for owls, red squirrels and bees. The location may be rustic, but once inside, there’s an atmosphere of pleasingly-understated luxury, from the colonnaded indoor pool to the Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Faventia (one of four). There are two excellent golf courses, and the two-storey spa is the perfect place to relax after a round. The nearby villages of Tourettes and Calian have wonderful weekly markets. Terre Blanche was an amazing find. We travelled as a family late May/ early June and stayed in a premier suite. The rooms are slightly dated, but look exactly like the photos on the website, so there should be no surprises. What was a surprise, was the quality of the restaurants and grounds. It’s apparent that the resort was previously a four seasons with the landscaping and overall layout, the current conglomerate has done a very good job at maintaining the resort. Both restaurants open for dinner are worth a visit, breakfast is also very well done, and staff are attentive and knowledgeable. We tried lunch once, at the pool, and were disappointed, the options were limited and little effort was put into quality or presentation of the food. Would recommend purchasing snacks from the local grocer, especially if bringing children. For those looking to exercise beyond golf, be aware the fitness facilities do not open until 7.30am, so if you are an earlier exerciser you’ll need to adjust your schedule. The Kids Club was phenomenal and includes lunch and swimming. Babysitting is also easy to arrange with caring and knowledgeable staff. Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend to those with children looking for an easy holiday.

We stayed here for four nights and can truly say it was fantastic. The suite we had was a great size with lovely views of the Provence countryside. The staff were super nice and incredibly accommodating and the grounds were vast, beautiful with lots to do - you don’t even need to leave the resort. Our daughter also loved the kids club which was a big plus! Highly recommend this place and we are planning on going back again.

My review comes a bit late, but I still wanted to take a moment to recognize the exceptional service provided by the staff at Terre Bianche. I celebrated my birthday there in April, and it was truly the perfect choice. The property is stunning—peaceful, elegant, and deeply relaxing. The staff went above and beyond, consistently kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. I spent the day enjoying the spa and its many amenities, which were absolutely top-notch. I also received a facial treatment that was, without a doubt, one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding, with an impressive selection and exceptional quality. Despite not having the proper attire, the staff graciously allowed us to try our hand at golf, which added a fun and unexpected touch to the experience. Though the outdoor pool was closed in April, it gives me yet another reason to return. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Terre Bianche for making my birthday so memorable with your thoughtful gestures and warm hospitality.

Our stay at Terre Blanche has been absolutely exceptional – everything is a perfect 10! From the outstanding service to the exquisite cuisine, the beautiful surroundings, and the top-notch golf courses and lessons, every aspect has exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and serene atmosphere made our experience truly unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back to this amazing place! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious getaway with world-class golf and a touch of paradise!

The approach of staff is unnecessarily rigid and disappointing for a resort of this standard. Flexibility and guest comfort should be prioritised but, unfortunately, that was not the case during my visit. I left early after feeling unwelcome during what could have been the beginning of an ongoing relationship, as we spend considerable time in the region. A more thoughtful, guest-oriented approach would go a long way. Provence is full of exceptional destinations - this one, sadly, is not worth your time.

This is for the golf courses, both of which are amazing tracks. Extremely well manicured, challenging and interesting, great vistas. Riou. Is a bit gimmicky with funky downhill drives around corners, Chateau is a serious championship course with lots of challenges. Absolutely loved both. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Pace was great, too.

We only used the spa services at this location, but they come highly recommended. Great pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool. They even have a snow shower! Good services as well, we both had facials.

Yelp
Serious failings on nearly all accounts at the Clubhouse Les Caroubiers restaurant at the Terre Blanche Hotel. The waiter was ok to start. The starters were brought out and 2/3 were the wrong item. This was not a problem and we asked them to be corrected. The main courses came out and they were ALL incorrect, again. The waiter then rudely addressed a member of our party saying the item they ordered wasn't available after trying to give them the wrong item, this was 40 minutes after we had ordered the item. After a few excuses from the waiter the manager was sent over. The manager in the suit was extremely rude and raised his voice with the member of the party who was given the wrong food twice without apology. There were inconsistent and inadequate excuses given by different members of staff. Our waiter stopped serving our table for the rest of the evening we were not addressed by our waiter or the manager. We were served by a lovely young woman did a good job and was left to clean up the mess, thank you to her for the good service The sommelier in the suit was lovely and gave great wine recommendations, he should be promoted. Overall this experience missed the mark. There was no apology and no effort to make the situation right. 0 stars.
