Terre Blanche

Beautiful hotel with fabulous gardens and pool. Unfortunately not the season to swim but nevertheless an exceptional place. Spa and gym are also very nice and free to use as a guest. The staff are the friendliest and that was what made the stay so pleasant. Everyone is genuinely very nice. The hotel restaurant was however disappointing. The prices are very high for the quality. The pork dish for instance was fatty and overcooked. The steak was excellent but at €50 not exactly great value. Also the atmosphere in the restaurant is not that warm or intimate. It a large space and when there are a lot of children (as there were) it can be noisy. For the price of the meal, we were very disappointed. The Michelin Star restaurant was unfortunately closed. Breakfast was great! No complaints there.

My review comes a bit late, but I still wanted to take a moment to recognize the exceptional service provided by the staff at Terre Bianche. I celebrated my birthday there in April, and it was truly the perfect choice. The property is stunning—peaceful, elegant, and deeply relaxing. The staff went above and beyond, consistently kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. I spent the day enjoying the spa and its many amenities, which were absolutely top-notch. I also received a facial treatment that was, without a doubt, one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding, with an impressive selection and exceptional quality. Despite not having the proper attire, the staff graciously allowed us to try our hand at golf, which added a fun and unexpected touch to the experience. Though the outdoor pool was closed in April, it gives me yet another reason to return. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at Terre Bianche for making my birthday so memorable with your thoughtful gestures and warm hospitality.

Terre Blanche was an amazing find. We travelled as a family late May/ early June and stayed in a premier suite. The rooms are slightly dated, but look exactly like the photos on the website, so there should be no surprises. What was a surprise, was the quality of the restaurants and grounds. It’s apparent that the resort was previously a four seasons with the landscaping and overall layout, the current conglomerate has done a very good job at maintaining the resort. Both restaurants open for dinner are worth a visit, breakfast is also very well done, and staff are attentive and knowledgeable. We tried lunch once, at the pool, and were disappointed, the options were limited and little effort was put into quality or presentation of the food. Would recommend purchasing snacks from the local grocer, especially if bringing children. For those looking to exercise beyond golf, be aware the fitness facilities do not open until 7.30am, so if you are an earlier exerciser you’ll need to adjust your schedule. The Kids Club was phenomenal and includes lunch and swimming. Babysitting is also easy to arrange with caring and knowledgeable staff. Overall, it was a great experience and would recommend to those with children looking for an easy holiday.

Our stay at Terre Blanche has been absolutely exceptional – everything is a perfect 10! From the outstanding service to the exquisite cuisine, the beautiful surroundings, and the top-notch golf courses and lessons, every aspect has exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and serene atmosphere made our experience truly unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back to this amazing place! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious getaway with world-class golf and a touch of paradise!

This is for the golf courses, both of which are amazing tracks. Extremely well manicured, challenging and interesting, great vistas. Riou. Is a bit gimmicky with funky downhill drives around corners, Chateau is a serious championship course with lots of challenges. Absolutely loved both. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Pace was great, too.

We had an amazing stay here. The service was exceptional. The property itself was private and beautiful. The resort had plenty of activities on property and nearby, and we really enjoyed the food. We are already planning a return trip for next year!

Where should I begin… just wow. I was lucky enough to stay here two nights and it was perfect. The Spa is exceptional and you get an individual little house to yourself. The staff will pick you up with little golfkarts on demand and drive you anywhere within the resort.

Only tried the spa area. Just incredible place !!! Everything is premium and the center makes everything to make you comfortable. The jets are in the pool are really powerful and give you the best massages possible. Probably the best spa service I have experienced . Staff is lovely. Recommended.
