I ordered super bowl through uber eat. But there is no purple cabbage and carrot. I really like the taste but I’m really upset about my order doesn’t come as menu. Hope next time and never ever happen like that agian.

The purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this food trailer in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review. Atmosphere: Food trailer located at Queens Plaza. It's easily accessible, walking, not so much when driving. Anyway, after a couple of days passing by it, I decided to give it a try. Service: The guy who took my order was really friendly and welcoming. Food was made in a timely manner. Food: I ordered the Terayaki Super Food Bowl and the Sweet Potato Fries, decentportions. I did like the bowl, especially because of the veggies it has. However, I think the chicken was stir-fried with too much terayaki sauce, as you can see in one of the pictures. I started to get overwhelmed by the sauce when I was halfway done. You can give them instructions on how much sauce you want on your order and I believe they'll kindly follow them. I will do that next time. I really liked the sweet potato fries. Price: This being a street food category, I think their prices are fair. Much better quality and flavors(including service) than the food being served at other food trucks.

one of the best food trucks I've had in New York! The combination of flavors and textures was amazing and the steak was juicy and not tough or dry, and they also gave me a lot of steak. They also have delicious sauces. Perfect serving size. 10/10!

I got the super food bowl. Awesome combination of flavors! The Kale was crunchy but not too crunchy, the chicken was seasoned just right. There was the perfect amount of rice to keep the savory flavors from overwhelming. I’ve got a healthy appetite but there was plenty of food in that bowl. I will definitely be back!

It’s a rare event I review a street cart but NYC has a few hidden gems in relation to this topic. These two amazing gentlemen run a lovely themed Asian fusion/halal cart. I happen to occasionally stop by the jetblue corporate office in which they are on the corner of and a plethora of employees from there stop by for lunch here. I decided to give it a try and I couldn’t be happier to have run into this seeing as it’s a quick and cost effective plate in an area hard to get food running in and out the office for. These two guys have beaming smiles on them and truly want you to come back a happy customer from the experience I had speaking to them while they prepared my food. I look forward to letting a few friends know who live locally for they surely haven’t seen this cart nestled right under the queensboro bridge. Food was tasty and the sticky rice was a great compliment to the meats, the salad and pickled carrots were a great compliment to them as well. Stop by and gives these guys a try!

I was alerted by a coworker about a new food cart on the corner of Jackson Ave & 44 Dr in LIC. I am generally not a fan of food carts but I am glad I tried it. The chicken teriyaki was really good, large portions and friendly service. I hope these guys stick around.

Great value terriyaki bowl from a food truck! They're right off the Queensboro Plaza MTA stop so it's super convenient whenever we get back to our hotel in the area. The food is prepared fresh each day and the bowl is packed with lots of meats, so for about $13 it's a pretty good deal for dinner. Only complaint would be the truck is quite tall, so for a short girl like me it was a bit challenging to reach to the cashier terminal to pay and to get my food.

Terry and Yaki is always fresh and full of flavor. There is not much ambiance due to this being a food truck but the service is fantastic. Their employees are always very pleasant and efficient. The price has gone up in recent years similar to other restaurants / food trucks but I still pickup dinner from Terry and Yaki about once a week due to the flavor, value and speed. Highly recommend giving it a try. I've only had the LIC / JetBlue location but I have heard there is similar quality at other locat

Service: 3/5 Food: 3.5/5 just a food truck. convenient for me bc it's near friends' places. under $20 for a meal, which is a good deal. portions are inconsistent, I got 2 of the same orders + one had noticeable more chicken. What I Ordered: - Teriyaki Chicken over Salad: kale got soggy (didn't really mind), not much carrots, very saucy (there was a pool at the bottom), a little spicy. would've been better w/ rice. chipotle sauce wasn't spicy.

Real tasty food in real solid portions, zero complaints. The dude serving things up from the truck is nice and personable, and doesn't skimp on the sauces and flavors. Prices are pretty good considering the sheer amount of food you get per serving. I ordered some of their sweet potato fries, and two of the main meal options. And had enough food for myself and my partner for at least 2 meals there. Will happily stop by for some more in the near future.

If you see this food truck near you, make sure you wave it down. The food is amazing. I ordered the sirloin rice bowl and it was so tasty. The steak wasn't chewy and the rice wasn't mushy. The vegetables were nice and crispy too. Ask for extra chipotle mayo, you won't regret it. The truck looked clean and the cook had gloves on, which is always a good sign.

Terry and Yaki has some solid teriyaki bowls- great portions, great quality, and halal on top of that! Definitely use the sauces that they give you or else the meat would be pretty dry. The only downside is they predominantly give dark meat over white meat, but not a deal breaker for me. They have a new fan and I will be back if I'm ever looking for a quick bite.

Clean flavors, tastes great. Good sized portions. I got the steak and all the sauces - tasted great. Maybe next time I'll get it without the spicy mayo.

Came here in desperate need of food near work. There are not many options and even fewer great options in the area. I pass by this on my way home from work everyday but today decided to try it. Food: I ordered the number 1 with everything and spicy sauce on the side. It was delicious. The chicken had great flavor the rice was perfectly cooked the pickled veggies were a great touch (wish there was more of them for balance). The sauce is everything you need a sauce to be and combo is amazing. Price: great meal! Large portion. I got two meals out of this... saved other half for lunch next day. Service: very friendly and knew to ask the right questions for a happy customer. Even though I agreed to everything on my meal he double checked and asked about the spicy sauce... I don't do spicy so I am glad he double checked. No line so good was ready in 5 minutes. They take card. And he threw in some sweet potato fries for me to try (complimentary not true to order size) Ambiance: I know people may be dubious of eating from a truck but everything looked clean. He wore gloves and made it a truck you'd want to return to. Not busy at time I went (2 pm weekend). Check out their insta page.

One of the better cart food options in LIC and a consistently good lunch option. The cart is located 27th Street and Queens Plaza North near the N and 7 train station. For starters the food here is American style Teriyaki Chicken and the food is Halal. The food cart is typically here from 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM, if you come here early you will see another cart selling breakfast food items like coffee, bagels, and muffins. This place is popular for lunch so try to avoid getting there at 12:30PM-1PM, as you will see a line. The line moves quick and they are fast so don't be discouraged when you see a line, often times theyll get 3-4 bowls ready at a time. The food here is quick and excellent, it will take approximately anywhere from three to five minutes for your food to come out, closer to five if you order the sweet potato fries as they need to be fried. Now when you get there you will see that they have 6 options; a teriyaki rice bowl, a salad bowl, a vegan tofu bowl, sweet potato fries bowl, steak bowl, and super food bowl. Any of the food options can be made with other meats and vegetarian options or vegan options, you just need to let them know. Their bowls all come with some vegetables and picked radish and carrots. The salad bowls will come with a Kale salad while the bowls will come with bak choy or yu choi. Typically all the bowls are $12 dollars unless you want steak which will be $14. They also offer their sweet potato fries as a stand alone option for $5. The food is always hot and well prepared and you can adjust the toppings, they will ask if you want everything and they have three topping choices: teriyaki/soy based sauce, a spicy mayo, and sesame seeds. You can request how much you want or what you want. Solid lunch choice if you're feeling Teriyaki. Please look at the photos and note that if you dont want that much mayo on your food you can always tell them no mayo or just a drop or two of mayo.

A staple Japanese comfort food bowl truck right by Queensboro Plaza! This has become somewhat of a go-to for a quick lunch or dinner. While not the healthiest, you can certainly modify by going light on the delicious sauces and spicy mayo at the end of the bowl building process. I always get the vegan tofu bowl, which comes with plenty of flavorful cubes marinated in an addictive soy sauce-based dressing of sorts. White rice and veggies top off the well-portioned bowls. People also rave about the eggplant but I wasn't personally impressed by it. Prices are good and well worth it once you take a bite. Highly recommend stopping by if in the area!

Review: (3 out of 5 Stars) Halal Asian kitchen. The staff are friendly, and the cart is clean inside. The rice bowls look amazing and I've heard great things about this place. I got the Sirloin steak with extra chicken, you know more protein. Go big or go home. It is filling. Sadly though, the food is decent. Like yes it's good, but I was expecting it to be better, a WoW. I heard so many good things about it. Don't get me wrong it is different from your average gyro, chicken and rice carts. You have to get it with the orange sauce. If you add sweet potato fries to your bowl, it goes from a 3/5 to a 4/5. I'm going to just give it a 3. I probably have to try them out again. Check them out and let me know what you think. I tried Terry and Yaki for the first time today. Aside from the food being tasty, the staff is amazing! I was asked if it was my first time trying them and because it was, they had a special where the first order was half-off :) they even threw in a free soda! Honestly can't say enough good things about my first experience with them. The staff is very friendly and kind. Will definitely be coming back to try other menu items!

I went to Governor Island and my friend ordered two of Yaki rice bowls. It was delicious. I love the kick from the sauce. The flavors were just rice and the chicken was tender. Overall, we both enjoyed our meal. We definitely would come back for more!

Solid solid lunch spot for those who work in lic. Fresh, one order at a time with one person hand crafting it, flavorful too. All of the items on the many are basically the same. A green with chicken or steak, hot or cold. Chicken was really well flavored and I ate over the course of two days. It could come with dressing because it got a little dry due to the Kale. I added rice to my bowl for more carbs. Honestly this place isn't anything you couldn't make with 3 simple ingredients of kale chicken and spices. They do take between 5-10 minutes from 12-1:30 to cook your mean because of the rush. Always a line here. Also, they did increase their prices from 8 to 10 to 12 $ in just a two week span so there is that to consider. Who knows how much more they will increase. You should try it if you're in lic!

I love Terry and Yaki! They're so nice and the bowls are delicious. They always try their best to accommodate and gave me a free drink the first time I tried their bowl! If you're in LIC, I'd highly recommend. This is my favorite go to lunch or dinner bowl if I don't want to cook. They have a lovely truck and I hope they stay! I prefer bokchoy over kale so I usually get the no. 1 or no. 5. The chicken is my favorite and it's got a little kick to it. The steak is good as well!

Exciting take on nyc classic. It takes the best of your standard "halal" truck, but brings fresh ingredients and a teriyaki spin on the dishes. Prices are a little higher, but the portions are generous and you can taste the quality of the ingredients.

Food here is good and I think the prices are fair too. I've gotten the rice bowl, the salad, the loaded sweet potato fries and the beef - all were delicious and would eat again depending on the mood. The guy at the cart has been friendly as well. I took off one star because he had his mask around his chin/neck...as someone in food services industry touching and breathing on food other people are going to eat, I feel like he, more than anyone, should have his mask on...I almost turned around when I saw he wasn't wearing his mask but it was 2PM and I was starving for lunch. With that said, I probably won't be back until covid is gone, even though the food itself is delicious and a 5/5.

This place's food is just very very sad. Poor quality beef and chicken. Overcooked rice. Teriyaki sauce is too sweet and sugary. Vegetables are frozen. I'd be almost okay with it for half the price, but they charge for something they're not delivering.

I love this food cart!! I come for lunch pretty often and there's always a long line but it moves very quickly. I always order number 1 - the chicken with rice and it is AMAZING. The pickled carrots and bok Choy with the white rice and terayaki sauce plus spicy mayo is a combo made in heaven. The chicken is always super flavorful and juicy. I can't get enough of it. I'm always satisfied. I've also ordered the chicken with salad, chicken with sweet potatoes as well as the steak with rice - all great choices .. you can't go wrong honestly.

This food truck parks itself right outside the Queensboro Plaza station and tempts me every time I get off the train to walk home. The main menu items range from $8-$10 with chicken teriyaki rice bowls, vegan bowls, and salad bowls. They also have teriyaki steak bowls! The loaded sweet potato fries are SO GOOD! It comes with teriyaki chicken on top and chipotle mayo.... You can just get their sweet potato fries for $4!! Will definitely be back as it's so convenient! Though there definitely can be a bit of a wait if there's a line.

This truck is parked outside of the city building on the corner that's across from City Chemist (Jackson and 44th). It seems to be parked there at night. I've seen it there from 6pm onward during the weeknights. I finally stopped by to try something and I'm really glad I did because it was delicious! I ordered the Yaki Bowl which has teriyaki chicken, pickled carrots and some greens over a bed of rice. The sauce used in the chicken has so much flavor and the chicken was very tender. This place has veg options as well! Seems like a great place to stop for a quick bite on your way home from work. I'll definitely be returning to try some other stuff on their menu.

Bored of the same old gyro?! Try Terry and Yaki by the piers with a view! My absolute favorite is the Terry Salad Bowl⁣ which consists of Teriyaki steak atop a kale salad w/ tomatoes chick peas and lemon vinegrette⁣. The Loaded Sweet Potato Fries⁣ were slamming too. It has their signature teriyaki chicken on top of a bed of ⁣ crispy sweet potato fries served with chipotle mayo! ⁣

This place is a food cart only, and only accepts cash. However the food is great! We got the chicken teriyaki bowl and steak bowl. The serving size was very reasonable as well as the pricing. I wish there was one in LI or Manhattan.

Good food! Good portion. Good price. However the guy did not wear his mask. He was on his phone and when he saw us stand in front of the truck to order, he THEN covered his face with his mask. Ugh. Only accepts cash, no Venmo.

Food was good and prepared quickly. Guys working the truck seemed nice. Veggies were not cooked thought that it would at least get a quick blanching. Don't think this is any better than Sarku or any quick teriyaki take out.

Used to have this for lunch when I used to work around the area. Figured I'd stop by and get a plate since I was in the area yesterday and the food is still good as ever! Would get extra meat and some sweet potato fries on top of the plate

Came by around 7:30 pm, the truck was running and lights on, but nobody in the truck. Waited for about 10 minutes, saw about 7 other customers come by to purchase food, but nobody showed up. So I went across the street to buy food from another place when I saw two people finally come back to the truck. So I came back and they shut the window and turned me away. No words, only hand gestures. Went back across the street to buy food, and on my way back home I saw them cooking and servicing customers. This was all within 10 minutes. Very poor service. If the workers were in break, they should say that and tell me to come back when break is over. Don't just turn people away with no explanation, especially when your hours of operation are 11 am- 10 pm. And if you leave the truck with the lights on and generator running, leave a sign to let customers know when to come back.

Still No mask and talking on the phone while serving food? That is very irresponsible.

Terry and yaki need to update their hours and add a phone number on google so people don't waste their time driving from Suffolk county or LIC only to find out they are doing a private event. They didn't even notify doordash and they processed our order. Not fun.

I passed this food truck on my way to work one day and thought it was peculiar. What stuck out to me was that the truck's signage said it was halal Asian inspired food. So on my lunch break that day I checked out what they had to offer. The menu was small and straight to the point. There were six options and one was solely a vegetarian option - the Vegan Tofu Bowl. I ordered the Teriyaki Super Food Bowl which is the chicken teriyaki stir fired with kale, purple cabbage, and carrots on top of white rice. It is also sprinkled with a chipotle Mayo and teriyaki sauce on top to finish the dish. I liked the fact that the bowls are made on demand and was still piping hot when I made it back to my office. The bowl, especially with the rice is a big portion, two people would be able to split it if they wanted to. I was also surprised how underwhelming the kale was in the dish, it just blended with all the flavors. Overall the bowl was delicious and felt like a healthy choice compared to some of the fast food selections and general food selections in the area. The service was quick and the service was friendly.

Portions are on the smaller side and the wait was very long to get my dish (around 15 min). The chicken was dry and the sauce didn't really help it much. I wanted to like this cart but I'd say it's just ok.

Amazing food first of all. Then hearing about the owners grinding and making this business what it is today is the best. Super friendly and I can't wait to go round 2,3,4!

We decided to try something new and Terry and Yaki was a delicious find! The clever name drew us in and the delicious bowls will bring us back. We look forward to reordering a go-to staple, like chicken teriyaki, and likewise exploring an array of alternative dishes as they (hopefully) expand their menu.

The first couple of times the chicken was fantastic but the guy that runs the cart needs to slow down a bit. The last couple of times I have gotten raw chicken with no flavor and flavorless steak. I'm not coming back because it seems like he doesn't care for keeping up the quality because there is always a long line.

I gave it lower stars not because the food wasn't good (it was good) but because they way you place an order online though Grubhub for pickup is a terrible system. I placed an order through Grubhub for pickup, I went to the pickup address on Grubhub and it looks like a factory building - one with the big metal garage doors where trucks pull into. On the side theres a door and bell. There's a sign on top of the bell that says food pick up ring bell here but on the door there's a sign that says "atomic wings" written in pen. At this point I'm confused and try calling them but the number on Grubhub doesn't work. I went on there Instagram page and they have a different address. Went to the that address (about a 10 minutes drive away) and saw the cart. The guy on the cart sent me back to the building and told me to ring the bell, apparently there's three restaurants in the building? So I went back and rang the bell and got my food. There isn't much difference in taste between the chicken teriyaki regular bowl and the chicken teriyaki superfood bowl (save your money and get the regular). The teriyaki sauce was good and the whole bowl was good. Needs to put a sign that shows the pickup for this place is there too. also, I don't know how I feel about picking up my food from a warehouse building where I can't see how it was prepared

A nice little truck that I tried one day out of the blue. It's only something like $8 and you get a solid amount of food. For the price and quantity, it was a very decent meal! It's simple, flavorful and hits the spot. For what it is, a small food truck next to my apartment, I'll be sure to eat there more often.

The two men who run the food truck are not necessarily the most professional people I've encountered as they carry attitudes for whatever so reason which is not pleasant at all, plus they overcharged me for a bowl that was really $11 but he charged me $12 so please be careful cause they're somewhat sneaky when it comes to charging people. The first time going here, their bok choy wasn't even actual bok choy, only mostly stems of bok choy and had to throw more than half of the bok choy away. And another yelp user said the meat is a tad bit under seasoned which is kinda true. They need to upkeep their vegetables a bit better. But this was the last time I'm ever buying from them. They need to fix their stank attitude.

I was looking forward to get chicken and rice yesterday 6/13/2019 from the cart on long island city. The gentleman who was the vendor put the extra sauce that contains mayo. I was never asked "explicitly" if i wanted it or at least it was my mistake that i probably didnt hear the guy ask me for the sauce. Point is that when I asked him if that had lactose since I have IBS, he said yes then we both paused and he said to forget it about it and started cursing at me in arabic assuming I did not understand what he was saying. I wanted to let it go but I couldnt help it. I went back and let the man know that I understood what he said in another language.......he then proceeded to say "fu*k you , fu*k you". I normally do not write these kinds of reviews but I will say one thing, the food may be good but the professionalism and class is not there. So if you go make sure that your order doesnt get screwed up or else you will be disrespected and forget about being offered a new plate........

This place is soooo goood!! I've had it 3 times already since the start of the covid shutdown. Very flavorful and the spicy mayo is delish. The best part is it doesn't make you feel heavy and gross but is still super filling. Can't wait to have it again soon.

The rice sucked and i found a piece of a fork in my food and I've had much better teriyaki

I've been coming to this lunch truck for awhile now and it's excellent. The #4 is my jam, sweet potato fries and teriyaki chicken. Highly recommend
