Terry's Burgers

$10.82 for a burger (lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion; no cheese added), thick cut fries, and fountain drink combo, plus tax. The food came out fast and had that old school burger joint taste. All around, an excellent place to dine.

We like to go after our Grandson's play baseball & T ball after their 8am games. They share their pancake breakfast 😋. It's affordable, great food & family friendly atmosphere. We all love the menu. Thank you❣️

My husband and I have visited this establishment a few times, enchilada plate delicious, i have ordered their breakfast pancakes, not so good kind of doughy. My husband ordered breakfast the last time we were there. Number one sausage, I don't know what type of sausage was given to us, but it was not done. And it didn't even taste like sausage or look like sausage for the price they charge, isn't worth it, i don't mind paying if the food is great. Not only that when the coffee was brought over to the table, the employee had his hand all over the top of the rim. Where you sip your coffee from, not once, but twice. I was very dissatisfied.

Dined in. Not from the area, but the reviews looked good. Ordered a pastrami burger combo. It was really good and came out fast. Atmosphere was a little out dated and it was quiet no music was playing, which I didn't mind.

I normally love Terry's but today my husband and I had there breakfast I got an egg white veggie omelette no cheese and obviously no meat as I am vegetarian. Unfortunately there were pieces of ham and bacon in my omelette. Just be aware if you are vegetarian, vegan. I understand they make the food near each other however the cook should still be careful not to mix.

This place has been around for years and they have always been so fantastic. The food never disappoints me. The grilled chicken has the best seasoning I've ever tasted! The staff is always super friendly also! I just love this place

Updated review: Yay!! So I was able to finally try Terry's Burgers today! I got the works burrito. Pretty hefty burrito. Being honest, It's okay. Much like other places but it surely does not disappoint. I look forward to going back and trying more menu items. I've heard good things about their burgers and a few other menu items. There's no drive-thru and parking is pretty limited but not a big deal. Staff was very direct, not very welcoming but again not a big deal but that might have been enough to be the fifth star. The restaurant dining area is very clean and open and there's lots of natural light. I look forward to returning and updating this review and adding more pics.

I got the pastrami burger combo, it was almost 18$ but you know what that was a damn good burger. The interior is an older burger styled joint/diner, missed this style a lot, even the tiled menu style, sad everything goes more minimal and corporate. The staff is friendly too. I don't see why Yelp has it as 3.5 stars, I was gonna say it's 4.2-4.5 at best but Google Reviews justified that. Kinda glad McDonald's ruined my day so I came here instead on a hangry whim but it all cured me. Everytime I take a trip into CA this is my next stop

I get the half order of biscuits & gravy with scrambled eggs and bacon. It is the best gravy around. I wish the biscuit was toasted but it's still very good, bacon is thin but crisp, eggs are fluffy and cooked just right. Great spot for breakfast. Fast and friendly

We called in our order for a quick breakfast stop on the way to Laughlin. We got 2 The works breakfast burritos filled with eggs, ham, sausage, bacon and hash browns this burrito the bomb!! The sauce they give compliments the burrito. The food is so good that we ordered some to take home on our way back from Laughlin.

Don't get me wrong I love Terry's but whoever was the cook on 6/1/25 need some help. I ordered 2 fried chicken dinners via door dash and look at what they brought me! Burnt chicken dinners both of them. Do better Terry's. So disappointed!

This may be the best breakfast value in town. I prefer to be served at my table but that what I'm willing to give up for the value. Great food.

Frequently went to Terry's to pick up order placed on phone. Eventhough my order was ready for pick up I was told I had to get in the regular order line. The line was almost to the door. They wouldn't just let me pay and pick up. So....I left! They can keep the order they made for us. Why should I wait for at least 10 minutes to pick up Cold Food. No longer a Terry's customer

My favorite burger place since I was a kid, this place never disappoints and is one of the best prices for a burger combo you're going to see!

Standard walk-up diner. Staff is friendly. Food is good. Take-out or dine-in. An es6 place to get a good meal at a reasonable price.

I used to work here, and I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED! I figured I would order my kids and I some breakfast before heading to work and I wanted them to try some French toast. The order was placed but when the dasher got here it was only one bag. I knew something was wrong, I opened the bag and it was only my burrito and there was a taped receipt that said two bags! I called the dasher immediately and asked why only part of my order was delivered and the dasher said he was only handed one bag. When I called the store an older gentleman answered and blamed the dasher for not picking it up, but then changed his story saying the other half of the order wasn't even there! What's going on?!!!!! Now my kids have to wait for a different order from a different restaurant! And I lose out on money as well. I unfortunately will not be ordering from here again even tho I miss the food and the store.

The food, took about 10/15 min , busy morning a lot of phone orders and online , prepare to wait , hash brown egg burrito was light , usually burritos have some weight to it, this one was light not sure why, perhaps it's not stuffed enough w eggs and hash brown, seemed to be very light and not like ur typical "burrito" the food was good , but not really jaw dropping delicious, nothing stood out in the burrito, reg basic burrito... the service was nice and kind . I would come back to try something else . The prices were competitive, it was not overly priced .

Terry's Burgers reminds me of an old fashion sit down burger stand with an expanded menu covering breakfast, lunch, with a few choice dinner items. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Employees are always friendly. Their breakfast burritos are some of the best, if not the best in the area.

Went there for breakfast. Ordered 2 eggs, hash browns, 1/2 order of biscuits/gravy. Biscuits were very small, gravy was barely warm. Normally biscuits are large and fluffy. Been come there for 25 years.

Well the price a way to high breakfast for one is just under 20 dollars and the selection of food is basic

This establishment has been a staple here in Alta Loma for decades. This is always my order as I'm unable to find a comparison anyplace else. A quaint place with friendly service always. The well seasoned and cooked patties are between 2 Parmesean crusted sourdough slices. Tomatoes, lettuce, onions and their sauce are always fresh and always consistent taste. The food always comes to the table hot with crispy fries. With inflationary prices all around, this value will not disappoint.

I had been craving mozzarella sticks so I decided to check out Terry's Burgers for lunch today since it was close by. The man who greeted me and took my order was very nice and friendly. I thought it was so sweet that he made the extra effort to spell my name right which means so much to me since it often gets mispronounced or misspelled. As soon as I pulled out my book to wait for my order it was already being brought out to me! I am looking forward to coming back to dine in and try breakfast! The inside was very clean but what I loved most is that it was comforting in a warm hug from your grandma type of way. My mozzarella sticks were still crispy and melty when I got back to the office- I am not ashamed to say that I devoured them. I had a great experience at Terrys :)

We had breakfast here the other day I had the spinach omelette and avocado instead of hash browns and sourdough toast it was not bad . I enjoyed it down to everybody.

I've only had their breakfast burrito and it was really good and big. I get the bacon and add pico de gallo to it. It's tasty and filling.

First timer, local resident. Needed a quick meal in this super duper heat. Barely made it in because they close at 6:30pm. The menu is huge so wasn't sure what to order. Hubby wanted a double cheeseburger and onion rings. It was yummy. Char grilled pattys and crispy onion rings. I would def come back for those! On the other hand I ordered the beef taquitos plate. That won't happen again! Frozen taquitos, beans from a can, avocado sauce from a gallon jar. I guess I was hoping they make their Mexican food from scratch. The lady was super nice. Love their cheeseburger.

I love Terrys! I'm glad I found Terrys and their delicious breakfast burritos and burgers! The breakfast burrito salsa is fire, it's packaged and not spicy but it's so yummy. The burgers are what you expect from a mom and pop burger spot, their zucchini fries and regular fries are crispy and delicious. Service is quick and I have yet to have a negative experience yet.

While biking to Rancho Cucamonga, we stopped here for lunch and what a great deal: hamburger w/fries combo plus 20 oz drink all for $10 something. Why go to a fast food joint when you can get the same but better, bigger and cheaper? Generous portions and solid choice to fill the hunger after a long bike ride. I liked that the drink was not just soda but they also had horchata, pina colada or orange bang and unsweetened ice tea. Friendly mom and pop joint and great place overall!

Hands down the best mom and pop breakfast spot in the inland empire. Been coming here for over 10 years and am satisfied everyone. They even have enough variety for the whole family.

The fried zucchini was delicious but, the older waitress was rude probably having a bad day, she was rushing me to order that was my first visit so I was not sure of my desire but, I was told by a relative the vfried veggies were good!!

The wife and I went to Terry's on 1/2/2025 @ 11:00 am. No wait! Fast and friendly service. The food was excellent! Counrty fried steak, hashbrowns and eggs were excellent and hot! The wife had the carne asada burrito that she loved. Price was very reasonable! Terry's us our new go-to place!

Good luck, comfort food made quickly. It was a staple during the pandemic and still hits the spot.

Wow. I like this place but... I sometimes get onion rings and it's way too much so today I got half an order with a Frisco burger (which is very good). I got (6) onion rings for $5.69! Bend me over and do me hard!!! WTH??? I like the place but will never get onion rings there again, and I probably won't go back anyways. Times are tough for everyone but when you rip people off, that's not cool. Good fatty food but it'll cost you in more ways than one.

Their breakfast burritos have kept me coming back for twenty years. You'll be full till about dinner time. Amazing staff and owner always a treat to be able to come here. Give them a try!

Our second time here with my kids and wife. Customer service and experience thumbs down. Won't go back here again. I went to Terry's on April 15th with my kids and wife. Order three burgers, chicken strips and drinks. When we were about to leave we noticed they never gave us our chocolate milk for my daughter. So my wife went to speak to someone at the register and told them we never received the chocolate we paid for while I was moving our car. Not sure who the person in the back was if he was the manager but he stared at my wife very rudely. They made it seem like we were trying to get a free drink. If I was in the restaurant I would of said something but my wife didn't want to make it a big deal so she didn't mention anything until we got home. My wife works at the Hospital and had a done a 24 hour shift so we decided to go out and eat. Having to deal with rude aXX employees is not acceptable. Specially when it's for no reason at all. Won't go back to Terry's again.

Terry's is a family run business known for their American breakfasts and burgers. Really though, you can't go wrong with anything you order here. I absolutely love their scramble egg sandwiches, chicken tenders with crispy fries, and grilled chicken sandwich. I also get a hamburger patty for my dog and they are always kind to chop it up for her. At some point I need to try their breakfast burrito because whenever I go I hear a ton of customers ordering them. It's on my list to try. Go and check them out!

The one thing I always do when moving into a new area is looking for a breakfast burrito place, and I found it here at Terry's. Well, steak and egg burrito to be exact but still makes an excellent choice for breakfast. Delicious and also well priced. One inconsistency is the green salsa/ green sauce... I asked for it every time, but only got it for 3 of my 20 or so times I ordered here... the rest of the time I was told by various employees that they do not make green salsa. It's a great mystery that I have yet to solve, but grateful for the 3 times they actually gave me green salsa for my burritos. I will come back regardless.

Ordered a grilled chicken salad. The iceberg lettuce was soaking wet and warm and soggy from what seemed like water and grease from the shredded cheddar cheese. The chicken tasted like it was the smell of a wet rag. overpriced and bad quality.

Let me tell you all a story....... You walk into a food type establishment and the first thing out of the "workers" mouth is. You can order, but we close in 30 minutes so you can't eat it here.......WTF!!!! If you close at 6:30pm and you sell food you should let your PAYING CUSTOMERS eat where they like. If I want to go eat in the back with the damn cooks you should let me. To the cheap a$$ owners of this "restaurant" I have something to say to you. Pay your "workers" an extra half a dang hour extra to clean up. Come on!!!!!!!! How long does it take for you to wipe the table down......how much cleaning is there. There was NO ONE in your place at all...... HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!

Really disappointed in this burger... $12 for the combo with a small serving of fries, and a drink. Burger was a let down- 2 soggy strips of bacon, an unripe tomato slice, stale bun, and a tiny patty. Not worth $12. On top of that they have Newsmax blasting on the TV in the dining room. If you aren't aware, Newsmax is a new "fake news" network that spreads conspiracy theories and white supremecist talking points. It's very obnoxious. I recommend going over to Tam's burgers or Legends around the corner for better food, and a dining room free of political propaganda.

They have Best patty melts around , and friendly people that work there . Never had anything bad here , always good. Oh and there onion rings are yummy Also

My wife and I are no longer happy with the quality of Jim's in Upland and we pass this place all the time. It is in the same shopping center as Sal's Pizza, so on a whim, we tried out Terry's Burgers for a bit to eat and we are happy we did. Terry's Burgers is very much like Jim's/Tam's/Gus Jr's. The menus are all similar and in most of these places the quality of food and service is very good. Terry's is no exception. I ordered a Double Cheese Burger with grilled and raw onions and my wife tried the Philly Cheese Steak and we split a large order of French Fries. The burger had a great taste, wasn't mushy and didn't fall apart on me. My wife really enjoyed her Philly Cheese Steak. It had more than enough onions, cheese, peppers and meat to make her happy. The French Fries were crisp and tasty as well. Well worth the price which was comparable to other like burger places. Overall, a very good experience and we will go back to try the other dishes. Terry's is a bit out of our way to go but we think their food is well worth the short drive for us. What is unfortunate is that Terry's Burgers is not open past about 5pm in the evening. This does not work well for us as we have jobs and like to eat a little bit later. For this reason, we have not been able to return to Terry's and at this point don't know if we ever will as they close so early. Terry's had two very happy customers that are no longer so enthusiastic about this establishment.

I have been going to Terry's Burgers since they opened their doors. Today is the last day I will ever visit this restaurant which is very sad. We placed an order to go and upon getting home, we realized that the order was incorrect. Not only did they give us the incorrect order, the food was absolutely disgusting and not even edible so we ended up throwing it away. Terry's Burgers has gone downhill year after year and it's no longer edible.

We often go here Saturday mornings for breakfast burritos. We ask for extra "burrito sauce" on the side over the packet sauce. My kids love their pancakes.

My husband and I always drive by Terry's but have never stopped in until this year. Based on previous reviews, this place has been around for a long time. As we walked through the doors, it reminds me of other places I used to frequent when I was younger. The interior isn't "modern" looking and has an old school vibe still. Their menu has a lot of variety and they offer everything from burgers, breakfast burritos, salads, sandwiches etc. I've eaten here twice now; first time we both got a cheeseburger combo with fries and drink. The second time we shared a breakfast burrito because multiple people have recommended it to me. Everything is pretty tasty. We've definitely added this to our list of "go to" places in Rancho.

Very good spot been coming here for 30 years ownership has changed but food and menu has stayed consistent only thing is prices have gone way up but that's true for everywhere unfortunately. Their breakfast burritos are great and very filling, full of Hashbrowns, eggs, meat of your choice I love the sausage. And also has onions hot sauce and cheese about nine dollars but so good. The other thing I really enjoy is there carne asada tacos are really really good. They have a large menu but those are the two things I always end up getting never had a cheeseburger or anything else. My mom likes their BLT sandwiches.

Been here a few times and gave it a chance but you get what you pay for. Employees need a job but don't want to be here.Food is edible but that's about it. Tams burger down the street is much better choice.

So I stopped by here this morning with my mom we were hungry and in the area. We walked in and there was no line which was great we ordered and sat Down. The food came fairly quick which was great as we were both very hungry! We split a sausage breakfast burrito and had asked for salsa rhw bring us pico De gallo which was good but we wanted actual salsa so they gave us some packaged jalapeño salsa! Not fresh salsa which okay I get it not everyone makes it but the reason for my review is there was barely any egg and a whole of of potatoes with cheese thag was half way melted and half way not! It wasnr awful but wasn't the best thing I've ever eaten.
