Tesco’s Finest Range Could Become a New Tesco Supermarket | Eater London

"A proposed premium supermarket concept focused on the retailer’s Finest private-label range, intended to compete with upscale grocers by leaning heavily on own-brand products; the format is positioned closer to compact premium food stores than to full-service high-end supermarkets." - James Hansen

6:15am and no one as you can see it clearly states 6am till midnight but no one here seriously third time this is happening , staff casually come 7am without a care Tesco needs to be serious about their opening times or don’t promise something they can’t fulfill

Last Saturday around 10 a.m.., a lady staff was continuously using her phone. I needed her help at the checkout, but she ignored me and behaved very rudely. Because of this, I left without buying anything. We come to Tesco for quick and easy shopping, but that lady staff behavior ruined my day. I hope the shop owner will take action regarding this matter; otherwise, I will have to complain to the head office.

Came to the store well before midnight, yet they said the store is closed (the photo indicating the time was only taken after I have been waiting a while at the door). Is this the quality of Tesco and the people they hire? I am not sure but looks like it. It is giving the impression that they wanted to get off work early even though the store was advertised and promised to be open till midnight as it is at the window (see photo). So, the thing they have to do is either making sure the store is opened till midnight, or they change their opening time from midnight to whenever they claim they are closing. They may claim I am biased and subjective, but I am just describing the fact and things I have encountered. Hope it helps.

The security on today’s morning shift behaved very bad. By mistake, my already paid Red Bull got re-scanned when I was leaving. While I was informing a staff member about it, the security guard at the door behaved rudely with me. He said that I have no common sense. His behavior was extremely rude. Time around 6:30-6:40 am.

Normal Tesco express. The staff is fine, I guess they get shop-lifted often because of their location, so they're a bit cautious. Been here regularly, haven't faced any problems at all.

A bit of a disappointment really. The shop was not tidy the shelves not replenished and prices were missing. The layout was very confusing with soft drinks displayed at three different locations. The staff was very limited and the self service tills were not monitored.

This kid is extremely rude and needs to be fired, i came to pay with cash and he told me to put the money in my bank and pay at the machine.

Convenient for the odd item I may need but not competitively priced enough to make me visit on a regular basis. The larger Tesco on Stroud Green Road is better for value. It has been handy when I have made long train journeys from Finsbury Park station and I wanted the Tesco meal deal. Three self service check outs along with manned tills, so at the times I visit, I rarely have to queue. Cashpoint located outside.

Yelp
A medium sized branch of Tesco conveniently located across the road from the main station exit. Unfortunately it's not my favourite branch, as my visits have been a little spoilt First time I had my cat with me in her basket and was asked to take her outside. Which meant I left as there's no way I'm going to leave her on her own out on the pavement. Now, I'm not sure exactly what the law is, but I've never been challenged elsewhere, and surely if she's in her basket, and therefore can't be coming into direct contact with stuff, there's really no more danger of contamination than from a cat owner coming in without their cat. Besides, the signs actually say no dogs, and while she does respond to commands to sit, lie down, and give a paw, and has been known to fetch in her younger days, she's still definitely not a dog. I'd forgive them for that bit of jobsworthyness but More recently I visited and got the store detective following me round. Of course they are near to a football ground, so maybe they are used to drunken fans causing trouble? But it wasn't a match day, and I'm not a football fan or a drunk. Maybe I was recognised and they thought I might have the cat hidden under my jacket In summary: well protected against thieves, and customers

Yelp
A smallish Tesco Express. It's got a bakery section but that's about it for extras.

Yelp
I've always thought Tesco Metro's are the nicest things. They're cheap, affordable, basically a mini supermarket. They have the basic, essential things you may need so there's no need to go to the bigger stores for a small item. Genius.
