Tesiny - Review - Dickinson Narrows - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Tesiny comes from the owner of Biederman’s, an Italian Market appetizing shop that specializes in smoked fish and caviar. So it’s not surprising that the raw bar at the chic and sexy spot is top-tier (cover all your bases and start with the plateau). What is surprising? The Dickinson Narrows restaurant is just as adept at cocktails and meaty mains." - Alison B. Kessler

My husband and I went here for a date night and the restaurant was absolutely incredible! The food was decadent, delicious, and well balanced. I got a glass of wine and my husband got a cocktail. The drinks complimented the meal well. We tried the seafood platter, wagyu steak, and iberico pork. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned deliciously. I couldn't help but notice all of the attention to details from the kitchen staff and servers. Our table was wiped in between dishes, our napkins were folded when we left our seat, and the dishes were presented eloquently. Of course, we also had to get dessert! I was so happy with our time here!

What a spot! We wandered in on a Friday night, and the atmosphere was buzzing. Everything was elegant yet perfectly unpretentious. We managed to snag the last two seats at the bar and enjoyed selections from the cocktail menu, wine list, and dinner menu. The service team is clearly well-trained and passionate about what they do. Most importantly, the food was the star of the show. The menu is a great size, with a really nice variety of dishes. Highlights included the tuna crudo and the wagyu steak with fried oysters, but honestly, there wasn’t a single miss. Highly recommend Tesiny to others, and we can’t wait to head back ourselves.

Love it! New upscale neighborhood restaurant. Amazing service and decor. Menu had a lot of creative items. Chicken lollipops was 🌶 so avoid if you can't handle 🔥. Perfect for date night or a nice bite with your friends. There is plenty of bar seats if you just want to grab a drink.

We had a great meal here! The drinks were delicious and unique. We ordered the small plateau, octopus, and roasted potatoes. Everything was amazing. Our favorite touch was the house made hot sauce. Nice ambiance and attentive servers. We will be back!

A beautiful new restaurant with lots of kinks to be worked out as far as service goes. Tuna Crudo was excellent however the Scallop Crudo lacked acid and seasoning. The oysters were served too late in the meal. We were confused how dishes were served out of order in relation to the menu as is traditional in most restaurants. At one point we had 5 dishes in front of us and wish it was coursed better. The Tomato Salad was delicious and flavorful. The Octopus was good and had some heat on it! The Chicken Lollipop was so spicy and felt out of place comparatively to the rest of the meal. Having the lollipop and one of their signature cocktails at the same time does not feel like a great pairing. Overall hopeful for this local spot. Hope to come back in the coming months when kinks are worked out.

Incredible food. The large plateau is a value imo, very creative and well presented. The food runner did an impeccable job of describing everything in fine and fluid detail. Chicken lollipops live up to the hype (hey now shrimp and tomato hot sauce!!). Octopus was tender and had deep flavor. Desserts were wonderful. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, but not obtrusive. Cocktails were thoughtful and inventive while being rooted in classic lexicon. The caviar stuffed olives are a great way to garnish a martini in the beginning of a meal. Well done top to bottom. Excited to see a restaurant of this caliber in the neighborhood.

Finally—the grown-up restaurant we’ve been needing. Tesiny is elevated without being precious, curated without being cold, and unfussy in the best way. Gorgeous interiors, smooth service, excellent food, and a vibe that makes you want to linger. A true gift to South Philly. We’ll be back—often.

Fabulous experience! This place is so chic. All of the dishes my friend and I got were 10/10, the drinks were also delicious, and the service was attentive. Am looking forward to making this a regular spot!
