Love my Tesla but getting service is so difficult! I requested service through the app and two days later the request was just gone? So I decided to call the store and it constantly says closed even though google states you all are open? Can someone please contact me so I can service my car? I’ll be glad to change my review after I’ve been contacted. Thank you for your time.

Unfortunately I couldn't post zero stars but my vehicle was damaged during service & Tesla told me I was responsible for the repair. They argued that my car was slowly breaking prior to the service appointment so it was my fault that it broke during the service. The first estimate was $660 & I told them that was too much and they revised it to $420. I was hesitant but I wanted my car fixed so I approved the estimate. Within an hour they revised my estimate saying another part was the problem and switched my estimate to $520. I said no & asked for the car back. They still charged me $80 for diagnostics. Then my car got a regular software upgrade from Tesla that fixed all the problems I was having. This proves all my issues were software issues and I did not need any new parts and the estimate for $520 was not needed. I asked for my money back for the diagnostics that told me I needed to pay $520 to fix a software glitch that came from Tesla and the service center will not respond to me. I used to go around telling people how awesome Tesla was and they lost a loyal customer by trying to defraud me on service. What a dishonest service center that only cares about getting as much money as possible from customers, ignoring the fact I'm a person who would have continued to buy Tesla the rest of my life.

At the Dominion, Brian, the head detailer, was fabulous. He gave us the white glove treatment and my car looks perfect. I also really appreciated Robert and Natalie. They both answered all my questions and reassured me that we made the right decision in buying our new 2026 Tesla X. I urge anybody who’s buying a Tesla to only come out to the location at the Dominion. There was no comparison to the difference between how we were treated here versus how we retreated at the showroom on Airport Boulevard. Customer service at the dominion made all the difference in our satisfaction!

I had an exceptional experience at the Tesla service center! The staff, more specifically DJ was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. They kept me informed throughout the service process and had my car ready ahead of schedule. The facilities were modern, clean, and comfortable. Overall, I'm impressed with the level of service and care provided by the Tesla team. 5 stars!

Very nice people. I thought my neighbor who drove an electric car and got a new car every year was with Tesla but he was with some other company. Good job Tesla, you have a good car for a good price.

The software is amazing but the ride and noise level needs work on the new model Y 2026. I have a 2024 Forester and the ride and noise level is much better. I wished that my Forester had the Tesla software

Horrible service after you purchase your car and especially horrible service once your car is out of warranty. 1st off, make no mistake, Tesla cars are the Best. Great cars. This review is about the customer service aspect. When your car is in warranty, and you make any requests for service, you're lucky if Tesla can accommodate you and actually service the problem, free of charge with the warranty. Once your warranty ends (1 year after purchase), then you're swimming with the sharks with Tesla and it's lousy customer service for repairs and service. Long story short, while our car was in warranty, we had Tesla check our frunk since it wasn't opening. The technician was able to service the frunk free of charge, but the technician also recommended that we schedule our car for further service to have a special screw installed underneath our car that was missing. It was going to cost us less than $100 the technician told us and our appointment was scheduled for a few weeks later. We went ahead and agreed to this service, since we want to keep the car in pristine shape. Here is the horrible experience part. After we had that suggested service done, a few weeks later the car was making a dragging sound from underneath the car. It turns out that the panel underneath the car was now loose and scrapping the floor. We scheduled service with Tesla thru the app, and expected this to be covered, for free of course, since it was recent and due to poor craftsmanship. Nope, Tesla service rep said that since we didn't immediately (week) notify them there was an issue, that the customer would have to pay for both labor and parts for this. The cost estimate was over $250 So basically, we paid $100 for a "screw" that was suggested, and then ended up paying a month later an additional $250 + just for something that wasn't even needed in the first place, and we were still within our "WARRANTY" period.

Wow I really should have read these reviews before considering purchasing a Tesla. I have had the absolute worst experience purchasing a vehicle than ever before. These people are a joke of human beings. They don't know their ass from their face! They say they'll call and they don't. They say you'll get your car on this day and you don't. They don't seem to know how to process their own paperwork. They say I'll receive a trade in packet overnight, yet on day 2 it still hasn't left their facility. I am so done with these people. This is the stupidest "Gallery" I've ever dealt with. I should have just purchased a used one from a used car dealership for a better experience.

I absolutely love my Tesla! I've been to this location a few times- they always try to accommodate me. I would highly recommend Tesla. There are multiple charging stations as well. The service department is fantastic. I really wish Tesla would consider having an extended white glove service for a fee - to their customers.

Worst car buying experience I have ever had! They made the entire thing miserable! They argued with my credit union over how to fill out forms. They made rude remarks. They almost pissed me off enough to not buy the car!

Customer service is so unprofessional on the way you look coming into purchase a Tesla. This is the 3 times, when we come to get our Tesla Y there's always a problem to get our vehicle. It's a Big hassle and unorganized when they have representatives are rude to you on there fault of the issue.

Great customer service, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was there with a friend while he did a test drive. Every question he had was answered. After looking around the Model 3 and the Y, I can say with certainty that Tesla is very likely my next vehicle. The only area of improvement I can think of was that we were there for a pre-scheduled test drive, and we had to wait about 10-15 minutes past our scheduled time because none of the test vehicles were back from their other drives yet.

OMG. What a crappy experience. Ordered a part over a month ago. Was notified of my service date a day before the appointment for Dec 21st. Now this is just to buy a part. Not real service. Anyway I was out of town but sent someone by to pick up the part. He was told it's not there. I Went by Christmas Eve. Was told service isn't working. Went back today service manager Dennis jumps in front DJ. The guy I ordered it with a month ago, and blurts out the parts not here!!! Now I've worked with DJ the other employee the prior 3 weeks to get the part. Now Dennis takes DJ in the back and when they come out I'm told I didn't respond to the text asking specific time that I would arrive and that the part was reallocated to someone else since I didn't reply as soon as they wanted. Well I'm upset and asked well when can I get the part. And can he reorder it. Dennis tells me to use the app. And to leave because I'm cussing at him. And I hadn't up to that point. I asked DJ was I swearing, and Dennis declares DJ's not to talk to you this is our conversation now! I'm super pissed at this point and said if I say "F-ck" that's cussing. But up to me saying that I hadn't. He then said I'm trespassing to leave. I did. But really look at this for what it is if you buy a Tesla. No GM to talk to just the Service Manager. No customer service number to call. And if you don't do exactly as they tell you you can ride around for over a month in a car that smells like stinky gym clothes because the service department doesn't keep basic parts in stock for your car. What a winner you are Tesla Dominion!!!!! Great Hiring!

Have had so many bad dealings with Tesla pre and post purchase that I have come to expect nothing more than absolute failure. Truly from the ground up, the myriad of people who do not communicate with one another to lying to customers and saying that registration paperwork is with the state DPS. This organization is on the very bottom of dealerships I have ever dealt with in over 50 years.

This Gallery has some real amazing cars! You have to visit this location and just see the cars to really appreciate how truly beautiful they are. Can't wait for the Cybertruck!

My car had a safety issue on it and i brought it to Dennis at tesla, And he really took care of it the same day, And i was able to get the car back on the road the same day back safely. Amazing for the fast response and how it only took a few hours and same day service! highly recommend, Glad to have my car back in safe working order.

Roadside assist traded my flat for a loaner tire September 20. I made an appointment that same day through their service center to get it traded out for a new tire. First available without going to Austin, TX was October 8; no big deal, as my car was with me and drivable with the loaner. Tesla calls me October 6 to reschedule my appointment for NOVEMBER 4, because they "need to order the tire." Nothing about this scenario is acceptable. Why not order it when the appointment was made? Or when the cost estimate was approved? Service waits until two days before the appointment to even verify the tire is in stock or not? Not a good first impression of this supposedly top of the line company, especially when it's still paper plates on my car.

I picked up my new model 3 this week and I'm still shocked how seamless the experience was. I've gotten new cars from five different manufacturers before, including BMW and Mercedes, and was used to having to spend 2 hrs or more there to seal the deal. When I arrived at Tesla, it was only five minutes and I had the keys to the car and ready to roll. The guy that helped me was very friendly and, even though he said he was new, was already pretty knowledgeable. I'm looking forward to my Tesla life.

I am on my second Tesla and am a fan of the cars. However, service from San Antonio Tesla is horrible. I have had my S for a little over a year. About 7 months ago I started having issues with trunk not auto closing. It turns out it is a part that needs to be replaced would need to be done by a body shop and would cost about $3,000. It would be warranty work. For about six months I keep getting jerked around for repair. Using the body shop Tesla referred me to, I am told they need authorization from Tesla. The last communication from either Tesla or body shop was over a month ago. I am so tired if getting bounced back and forth. I will now try to get some response from Tesla corporate.

Don't Feel Bad , nothing to do with who you are or what you're, Tesla Customer Service and the Service Center is just Rude to everyone. they aren't friendly nor helpful. They are annoyed that you're coming in to pick up your new car or service it and treat you like an idiot. it's a very disappointing experience. I have even spoken to the manager and it's the same attitude ""we don't care"".

Cars are cool the service not so much. They don't get paid on commission so they don't care. We walked up to read the sign regarding appointments and the worker (not sales person because they don't sell) said "no appointment sorry no service, you have to make one online!" All while walking by us not even looking at us in the eyes. Such a turn off.

What a bunch of jerks. walked in ready to buy a car, walked out ready to buy from somewhere else. On a good note, they did help, but answered all of our questions in the most assholeish way possible.

I took delivery of my Tesla Model 3 Performance at the San Antonio Gallery/Service Center. The people were extremely nice at the showroom and service, but I had many issues after delivery. They failed to annotate several issues at delivery, the car had several dirty spots in the interior, and several paint imperfections like micro-scratches, a couple chips, and all but one of the windows had giant scratches on them. I took delivery anyway and they fixed most of the issues, with much hassle on my end, in a couple appointments after delivery. I'm a long-time investor in the company, I've worked hard to be able to afford the car. I've wanted a Tesla for a longtime and just recently became able to afford one. Before, I was in the military and didn't make nearly enough to be able to reasonably afford the car. I work very hard for my money, and I understand it's still a new car company: there's going to be some issues, but the part they failed the most was the customer service. My delivery adviser was slow to respond, clearly overworked, and almost useless throughout the process. It was scary to think this was already the service I should expect before I even took delivery of the car. I needed to make a last-minute change to the car, and my adviser just didn't respond-- I feel like this made it much more difficult to change it once that last minute passed. After CC'ing other people in on the email and calling the service center/gallery they finally responded. They were able to make the change, thankfully. This caused me to have overpaid for the car, by about $5,500. They said they'd refund me the amount later-- but it took 2 months to be refunded, and they didn't even think they owed me anything. Fast forward again to delivery day, with all of the scratches and issues, the guy that was helping me with delivery was super nice, his name was Antonio. That guy has been a massive help-- even after delivery. During delivery, with all these issues being apparent, another Tesla person came over to "help". She told me I could refuse delivery, but I'd be sent to the back of the line and I'd have to pay the deposit again-- she said it in the way, "You don't want to do this because we'll make it hell for you.". So, again, I took delivery. This already soured my experience with my delivery. I wanted it to go as perfect as possible. I brought their team 4 pizzas because we were so happy, and who doesn't like pizza? They've made any fix I've needed help with almost a part time job just to get handled. It's not right. I've had to open a BBB report, contact their district manager-- I've tried contacting their store manager, but he just never calls back. I've tried doing it the right way, but they just seem to blow me off. Then, of course, I hear from one of my close coworkers who visited the Tesla gallery here that while talking about the increase in people "at the military base" buying Teslas (i.e. me because I talk about my awesome car all of the time [my fault, I know it's annoying, like when people talk about their babies or cats all of the time]), He asked, asked if they know me, since I bought my car there. Apparently they said, "Yes.. ugh.." like I'm causing them all of the issues-- dude, I work my ass off, I buy one of your $65,000 cars, I take delivery despite the issues, and I believe and am an investor in the company. I love Tesla. It's a surprisingly small town and I'm sure I've been a pain in the ass for Tesla San Antonio. It takes a hell of a lot of nerve to treat someone, anyone, especially a customer, like that. I've showed them nothing but kindness, gratitude, and professionalism. Anytime I've had their mobile service team to our house for one of the many issues with the car, I've given them cookies and sweet tea-- we brought them pizzas for their team. It's not insane to expect issues with the car fixed and the $5,500, they owned me, returned. It's so disappointing anytime someone's trying to be nice and they take advantage of it. I'm not sure what kind of madness is happening in Tesla or in their service center/gallery. It seems like there's all these different arms of Tesla that don't communicate at all, or at best, communicate poorly. I don't deserve this, no one does. The technology of the car is amazing. I don't regret getting the car, it's insanely awesome and blows me away every single day. They couldn't get it back if they wanted to. Though, I really, really wish Tesla's quality control and customer service would greatly improve. I feel like it will, and when it does, the crap employees will be removed and the ones that need help will get the help they need to complete the mission. Buy a Tesla, if you can, and if you want. It's an awesome car-- the best car I've ever driven. The company has its issues and will continue to for a while, but hopefully they'll fix them in time for me to buy another car and not have this same experience. Wow, I had to do a double take when I saw several suprisingly low reviews. I live not too far away from the San Antonio Tesla showroom and have been there multiple times. I have intereracted with multiple employees there and could not ask for a better experience. The Tesla employees are there first and foremost to educate about their vehicles and technology rather than sell a car, and it shows. Their attitude is patient and helpful, rather than the feeling you get when you go into a traditional car dealership. Think more like an Apple Store. I have found all the employees to be courteous and patient, willing to answer any question.

While my buying experience wasn't great, I was willing to move on because we do enjoy the car. However, asking Tesla for warranty product support for any of their gear is extremely difficult. I was treated poorly by their texting service that coordinates mobile technicians and I've had no response for a week on our wall charger, purchased through Tesla, that isn't working. I'm not buying a Tesla again and I will share my experiences with all that mention doing business with Tesla.

I made an appointment online and when we arrived the sales person was "shocked" that my appointment was approved since they close at 5:00pm. Mind you, this was online (miscommunication/disconnect). Since I had rushed to get there I was in work clothes and she kept asking me (not once, but three times!) what was my price range... Really? Lady, just because I was on work clothes does not mean I cannot afford a Tesla. Needless to say, we walked out not even five minutes after the first contact. No thank you, I will take my business somewhere else - VERY disappointed of the "Tesla experience".

Made an appt for a test drive w a model s n on day of appt a lady greeted us, had us enter info n informed us of our test driver's name, Rahul. He was a friendly, outgoing, down-to-earth, informative rep. Hubby drove hwy n i drove winding roads. He was very patient w us n answered all questions even about model X and model 3. Appt lasted 1.5 hrs. We experienced a great deal of the car's features n left w a great deal knowledge. Awesome experience, CS was great n tech is wowing!

First of all, I love my car. I've only used Tesla service twice. The first time was amazing, but this last time was a nightmare. The staff at the service location in San Antonio was friendly, but dealing with the remote people who handle most of the details is what made this service trip terrible. First, I was supposed to have a tech come to me, but then last minute they told me they had to have me come in because they didn't have any mobile techs. Inconvenient, yes, but not a big deal. I asked them to give me a call because I wanted to see if this fix they were proposing would actually solve the issue or not. They called and the person I spoke to repeatedly told me in multiple ways that yes if I paid to get the upgraded autopilot camera, basic autopilot would be activated when I left. Since that was the main purpose of opening the ticket, I thought it was great! I asked again, "so instead of paying for the upgrade to basic autopilot on the app, I can just buy this upgraded computer and basic autopilot is included?" He said yes. I asked again in a different way, and he said yes. So I took my car in, they did the expensive upgrade, I left. On my way home, I double clicked the drive stalk to activate autopilot and low and behold it didn't come on. When I got home I called to ask about it and they said I still needed to but the upgrade through the app for another $3,000. I said that wasn't what I was told - that basic autopilot was to be included. They said no, sorry. I asked for a supervisor. I waited for a supervisor to call, and when he finally did I asked him to pull up the recording of the call to verify what I was promised. After over a week of "research" the supervisor finally got back to me and said that the conversation wasn't recorded and that I am out of luck. They essentially lied to me to get me to give them a bunch of money without providing me with the features that I was repeatedly promised. Even if this was simply a training issue, they did nothing to make it right. So, if you're looking for an awesome car, get a Tesla. If you're looking for customer service and honesty, maybe another brand would be better for you.

When you pay $100,000+ for a car you expect certain things-like a car wash and a good attitude. You get neither at this location. The manager, Lou, and the service employees are all condescending and arrogant people that leave you furious when you leave...and they don't even care. I love the car, but the service is enough for me to leave and I make sure all my friends know how awful it is too. With all the competition coming out in the next few years, Tesla better improve on their customer service. It was great in the early days. This particular location is definitely ruining their brand. Stay away!

This showroom has been super helpful from the 1st time I walked in to the 4 times I test drove their cars (yep 4 times!) - Dylan is the best!!

As someone who loves technology, I couldn't wait for the Tesla dealership to open so that I could see what all the hype and hoo-ra was all about. It's an interesting concept, because it's nothing like what you'd expect a car dealership to be like: For starters, they don't really have inventory. The inventory that's there is really for test driving and you can buy one of the "demo" vehicles and they'll give you a discount on them. Secondly, because of the latter, the sales people aren't there to sell. Imagine that. They're there to answer the question "Why Tesla" without ever uttering those words. They do this by simply showing you features of the Model S and X, respectfully. The more they show you, the more enthused and inquisitive you become, but they never make you feel pressured or pushed and that's because: Third, people like to customize. If you're going to spend as much as a Tesla costs, chances are you're going to want to have it built to your tastes, which is why most people go online and build/order their car there. The sales people never try to "close a sale," (imagine that concept), they DO encourage you (on your own) to go out there and play around with different models and configurations and if turns out that a Tesla is right for you, then more power to ya (no pun intended!). Lastly, test drives don't happen the same day. If you want to test drive one of these bad boys, plan on coming in and scheduling your test drive for the following day. Our test drive associate, Dalton was amazing. Very knowledgable and has been with the company for a while and his pride for the company he works for and enthusiasm for the product that they produce definitely pours out of him. That on it's own can be a silent salesman. The cars are fast and you'll leave the dealership perplexed because while Tesla may be a small player in the car industry today, you can definitely tell they have their eye on tomorrow and when your test drive is over, it's like a scene out of "Back to the Future" -- all of a sudden, you're back to reality and your car is just "that old thing" -- I mean it doesn't drive itself, it can't come find you or park itself and it certainly can't hit 0-60 in times that would make a Lamborghini blush out of embarrassment.

Let me tell you all about this place. Once I talked with a representative/sales it was the best experience. I love how they are not out to push you to buy a car. Actually they sell all the cars online. Not like a traditional car dealer. I made a test drive appointment and it was wonderful. Once I purchase my x the service did not end. If I need anything they can update my car right from home. No need to wait at a car dealer service area anymore!! Fabulous!

While I do like my Tesla, the service department is so bad, I will never buy another Tesla again. I have had ongoing issues with the service department in the past. But my latest service appointment is mind boggling. Earlier this month I take in my tesla for service because the AC is not cooling. After a couple of days I pick it up but the issue was not fixed properly. The AC stopped cooling on my drive home. A few days later I take it back in to the service department to fix the same issue. The next day I pick it up and I noticed my Tesla now had damage to the front wheel with a chip in the rim along with a tear into the side of the tire. Thankfully the service manager offered to replace it and gave me a loaner vehicle which is hard to come by because they have so few in stock. A week into waiting for my Tesla, I was notified by the service person that the wrong "wheel" was ordered by mistake and it will take a few more days to get the correct one in. I just assumed she meant the wrong rim was ordered. More than Two weeks into waiting for my vehicle to get a new wheel and tire, I am notified that my tesla is now ready for pick up. When I pick up my Tesla, a different tire was replaced than what I had on and did not match my other three tires. And my rim was not replaced as I was told they would have some company come out to my house to fix it. On my drive home, my Tesla is now pulling hard to the right side which I believe is more of an alignment issue now. I'm still trying to get these issues resolved. Before you buy a Tesla, please understand you will have to deal with a horrendous service department. Given the fact that my tesla has been in the service department for at least five different occasions over the past year or so, I do not recommend buying a Tesla.

I wish there was an option of minus star rating. This is the worse experience ever. Our car was left there to fix a problem that they made! We were told that we had to pay 100$ for the problem to be diagnosed of the bluetooth. We got the car today, the "claim" that the problem was fixed but that was not the case! We went back and told them that the problem is still there. Now the way to fix it is to pay another 100$ for the same problem to be fixed. Yeah not going to happen. And on top of it all when we went to pick up the car, they lost the key fob. You WAY better going somewhere else. AVOID this Tesla dealership at all cost!

the customer service here is horrible. I took my car in for brake pad and a 12v battery change about a month ago... without giving me a cost estimate tesla went ahead and replaced it all and charged me the bill. When confronted about not giving the cost estimate before hand I got shut down and completely ignored and it was "my fault". This is not the place. NOT TO MENTION my car is BACK in the shop because 12v battery needs to be replaced again. How could u possibly mess up that bad. I had to get a tow truck and tow my dead car because tesla didn't cover the distance from them.

No one ever answers the phone. I've called non stop to back out and get my $2,500 deposit back. They answered once and he said We will call you right back. Rick never called. I emailed David (aka DJ) that I want my refund still no response. I've also emailed and called my point of contact for my vehicle delivery Alyssa and no response back. David said if we want a refund they would refund me same day as requested. I have not heard back from anyone. Also when I first went to look at the vehicles Rick said they don't do trade ins. When I went back to do a test drive David said they do. I feel like Rick was not very knowledgeable on a lot of other information too. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!!

Have had a wonderful experience pre and post purchase. Staff are extremely friendly and even when they are working under deadlines they get to know you and truly desire you join the Tesla family.

Amazing service, the entire team was so helpful and answered all our questions! There was no pressure to purchase a vehicle, and were very kind. DJ was amazing!

My husband and I have both purchased vehicles from this location and have had nothing but fantastic service and support. The buying process at a Tesla dealership is entirely different than any other I've ever experienced. Every time we come in they are friendly and remember us, anytime we call they are informative and knowledgeable. With the model 3 release being as popular as it is, they are obviously very busy but we have still received top notch service. I highly recommend you give them a call if you are at all interested in an electric vehicle.

Worst service ever, went to go look at a Tesla, only had 3 sale advisors, not one of them spoke to us after walking around 30 minutes in there display room. I understand they were with customers but not even a "hi I'll be right with you" nothing, if your looking for a Tesla this isn't the place.

Took delivery of a Model 3 here. The process was quick and easy. The employees are excited and easy to work with. Can't wait to see more Teslas around San Antonio!

Cosmetics imperfections like scrapes, scratch, cracks on their CPO that did not disclosed will not be fixed. Buying online CPO is not all transparent. again Do NOT BUY from Tesla onlie CPO. Very unprofessional bunch of young guys trying to sell you an expensive used car. I don't think that Elon would ever do such a thing nor ever gave his sales people not to be transparent with any particular vehicle.
