Great place for a snack in Downtown LA! They have some interesting vegetarian and non-alcoholic options without making feel uncomfortable for asking. The *Japanese Sautéed Shishito Peppers* shown in my 4th photo are a very satisfying vegan dish, I like the most spicy possible but they do have ones for people who are more sensitive when it comes to spices. The reason for mentioning the Sautéed Shishito Peppers is that they seem to do this dish much better than anyone else in Downtown LA.

Good Hapoy Hour, wish they had more items on it. The food was good, I ordered the fish tacos and kali burger by my self. The portion were small but good price for the portion. You need to order couple items if you wanna get full. I went on a Monday and it was empty till 7pm ish. Will try it again next time.

4.5 Stars for Testa which is the newest restaurant on the booming corner of 11th and Hope. It is huge improvement to the previous restaurant at this location, The Briks, and it is appropriate for the traffic that goes through this corridor for events at the Staples Center. I had the Pappardele which was spot on, and Service was great. I live around the corner from this establishment, so I will revisit this review as I work my way through the menu.

Love this spot!! Undercover chill place. Met some random great peoole here. Happy hour Monday-Friday 5pm-7pm, sat & sun 2pm-7pm. $6 wells, $7 cocktails, sangria, $8 red wine/rose, $10 craft cocktails, $2off all beers. Food: $5 fries, $8 cauliflower, $9 salads and more. Drink review!! Jerry makes thea best drinks! I'm mot a cocktail person but went off his suggestion, good choice! Heavy pour on my bourbon drink :)

Great happy hour drinks and food between 5-7 mon-fri and 2-7 on weekends. Shishito peppers were awesome. Quiet, laid back bar with and educated bartender.

I love the new downtown ! This place is in a good little part of dtla with restaurants on all 4 corners. Lively area, outside patios and candle light areas. Service was great and very friendly. Nice people, good recommendations too. I got the chicken Milanese sandwich,,,, very good! Huge portion , this isn't some skimpy joint. You get $15 bucks worth of sammy, I promise ! Had a fun time, even on Friday night it wasn't too packed but lively enough. Lots of dates and friend meet ups. Some outside with wine, some inside. Will be back !

I work near testa and it is always very empty. We stopped by for happy hour which was fine. Drinks were good and food options were good for the price but always concerned about how long they would be able to stay open downtown. Today I walked by and noticed there were chains on the door and a notice of eviction. :(
