A Guide to Canada's Gaspé Peninsula

"Still, it wasn’t until we got to the last of these, Tête d’Allumette, in St.-André-de-Kamouraska, a hip hangout with salty snacks and views of the vats, that it occurred to me that, in a sense, these beers were also mouthfuls of flowers." - Travel + Leisure Editors

NOT TO BE MISSED! What a find! Friendly service, spectacular snacks, and the most amazing atmosphere and location. We took the beer tasting selection, with 8 beers. Every single one delightful, with original, surprising complexity and subtlety. The whole experience was like stepping out of the ordinary and into a Peter Greenaway movie. We'll be back!

Awesome stop towards our drive to Gaspé. You can choose your seats but order at the bar inside. Food is pricey for what it is ($9,50 for 2 small pogos $13 for 3 small arancinis) but tasted great nonetheless. You are at a microbrewery after all! Their beer is excellent, we really enjoyed the flight of beers and spectacular view. They accept dogs 🐶 which is a bonus with tons of outdoor seatings. ***plenty of mosquitoes, bring protection 🦟 ***

On my way home from a week long road trip my family and I took the road less traveled. Along the South shore of the St. Lawrence we stumbled across the gem of a brewery! What an amazing and charming find. Tasted some delicious craft beers and sampled some delicious apps on the back biergarden overlooking the South shoreline. Fantastic views, food and beer. Worth the stop$!!

Warm staff and excellent service. You can order inside or in the booth outside the terrace. The menu has a good variety of beers. If you don't know what to order or are curious to try several beers, ask for the tasting option where you can select four options. Dogs are welcome on the terrace or outdoor patio, but are asked to be kept on a leash at all times. Children are also welcome on the terrace, however there are no games or attractions for the little ones, please consider bringing something for them to play with. In the outdoor patio you will find tables of various sizes (for 2 or four people). Pique nique tables with umbrellas are also available. There is a menu of appetizers or food to accompany the beer as pogos. Dishes come from restaurants in the surrounding area. We had a sunny day and it was nice enough to sit outside.

Freindly staff and onsite shop are great. But the showstopper is the outdoor seating and it's location!! It's give a lot of meaning to the variety of beers they have. The selection of beers is impressive too. The stout and the white are quite nice.

Our first visit here by happenstance as we are travelling and it didn't disappoint! On a crisp fall day this place was packed. At first is was hard to get service right away, but the beer, view and atmosphere certainly made up for it. If we weren't in a time crunch we would have stayed longer to try more than one beer, but nonetheless we were pleased. We are big connoisseurs of beer and found the one we tried was decent. A great place for big groups and families to enjoy a nice view. Next time we're in the area we will have to come back and try some food.

This was a pleasant surprise and off the beaten path on the scenic HWY 132 in Saint-André-de-Kamouraka on our way to Rivière-du-Loup. The microbrewery was very busy mid-afternoon with two options: take out and eat-in. We were happy to hand over our vaccine passports and enjoy some food and two different flights of beer. The beer was excellent and the appetizers very good (although a bit pricey for the portions that you received). Our favourites were the local dried sausage from Fou du Cochon (local producer) and the Arancini. You placed your food and drink order at the bar and then picked it up once it was ready. Service was friendly and very patient with our limited French. The picnic tables outdoors where well spaced apart and the view of the St. Lawrence River were spectacular. I would love to return in the summer and watch the sun go down. Definitely worth the stop.

Our road trip to Gaspesie started here. And what a pleasure, we had a great experience. Gentil staff, stunning view, great ambiance and the beer is on point. Attention: it's a BREWERY not a restaurant, food menu is limited to some few (but good) options. I tasted the charcuterie and my girl had a portion of smoked fish, all very good. Surely coming back someday. S2
