"When the Grimaldi’s in Coney Island closed during the pandemic, a former manager decided to take over the space and open Pizza Brook. The coal-fired oven remains, so it’s no surprise that the pizzas, with their crispy and slightly chewy crust, taste like the ones at Grimaldi’s. Italian sausage, which is usually forgettable, really stands out here—and there are more than 30 other toppings to choose from. The graffitied facade makes this place hard to miss, and the huge exposed brick space with black-and-white prints of the surrounding neighborhood is the perfect place to bring your whole family. When the weather’s nice, the tall windows open up to Surf Avenue. photo credit: Emily Schindler" - Kenny Yang

The large restaurant is located in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn. They prepare Italian cuisine. I ordered a pesto pizza which was well-prepared with fresh cheese. The polenta appetizer was very good with a generous portion. The lasagna was different than others I have previously ordered in different restaurants. The pasta were smaller strips with cheese and meat. The meatball side order was excellent. It consisted of three meatballs with quality taste. The tiramisu and cheesecake were very good. Very friendly and helpful staff.

What a gem to have in Coney Island! The pastas are homemade and simply delicious. Service is fantastic. Waitstaff is attentive and super friendly. If you're willing to pay $15 for over oily fried fish and chips on the boardwalk, come here instead. The atmosphere is lovely, very calming and the food is DELICIOUS! The pasta entrees range between $17 - $24. Other entrees around $21, great salad selections, starters, kids menu, healthy side offerings, reasonable wine and beer prices, and pizza, too.

Google
A delight to find this lovely restaurant in amidst the noise, sugar and fast food of Coney Island. A perfect place to relax after a walk along the beach - in my case on a bright November day. Delicious freshly baked bread, an excellent bowl of linguine vongole and a wonderfully fresh salad. Top marks all round!

Google
Well, what do you know...there actually is fine dining in Coney Island. Right to the point... this place is fantastic. Google reviews have this as a $$$ restaurant, but it's really $$. Nothing on the menu is expensive (i.e. most pasta dishes are $20 or less, most entrees less than $30) and the portions are generous, but most importantly they are scrumptious. This place checks all the boxes since the service and atmosphere are a solid 10 out of 10. Really attentive service as our waiter and the owner came by more than once to ensure everything was ok. Speaking about the owner really nice guy and enjoyable to talk with. Dropped in here on a whim because we were hungry and nothing else around it looked all that great. My wife after we ate said "that was a find". It certainly was. She had a mixed salad. Nice presentation, fresh greens and perfect portion size. She also ordered Polenta that was excellent. Portion was a little bit too much for her so I ate some of it too. Man, it was real good. My son and grandson wanted the BBQ pizza, which I also ate. Wasn't too sure about it since I had something else in mind, but decided to go with the flow. Glad I did. Didn't realize it was wood fired pizza despite it saying so on the menu. Wake up Jeff ( that's my real first name not my nom de plume of mimitaan...lol). Love wood fired pizza when it's done right. That's a major point. So many times it has a thick doughy crust or it's drenched with oil and who knows what else is wrong. Wood firing means nothing if it is not done right. At Teura^il Ponte it is done right. Nice thin crust and sublime taste. It was a large pie that I thought was too much to finish. I had two slices along with some Polenta from my wife's dish. There were quite a few slices left and thought no way my son and grandson could eat what was left of the pie. I was wrong. They polished it off because it was simply delicious. So here's a real kicker. The grand finale and what a grand finale it was. We all shared a slice of cheese cake for dessert. It was very light and not heavy or super dense like a NY style cheese cake. It was somehow oddly familiar. My wife commented "this is just like your aunt used to make". Oh, aunt Josephina I miss you. She made everything from scratch and it was always beyond good. If you are thinking about dessert after your meal this would be a great choice. Spoke with the owner and he noted it was an Albanian recipe and pointed out it is all homemade. He was very proud of it and rightfully so. Terrific tasting. So glad we ate there.

Google
This was an excellent choice for my family. I love that they have round tables. I recommend the lobster ravioli, the Sophia Loren pizza, the linguini seafood. I’m glad the tomatoes are not pastey like some other places. I also enjoyed the panna cotta which used real vanilla bean. I will be back. My sister lives near here and also recommends the lemon chicken.

This is a hidden gem in Coney Island. Super friendly staff and very tasty dishes in well-sized portions. <3 The restaurant was clean and tidy.

Decided to check this place out after all the reviews, food was okay. Eggplant came out ice cold, portobello appetizer also cold, didn’t make it an issue. Prices they have on their website and elsewhere do not reflect current prices, which are about 20% more on everything. Bit disappointed with the amount of wine poured for prices they charge. They also charge 20% grat and 3.5 credit card surcharge which isn’t disclosed anywhere, leaving a bad feeling in your mouth. It was good but I think it could’ve been better, left feeling meh!

Google
A wonderful cozy place, a great evening! The staff is very attentive, the portions are large and the price is quite affordable, the food is delicious and a pleasant bonus is live music. The atmosphere is awesome, we will come again

Yelp
Clean, friendly staff, but the food is terrible. There is a reason I was the only diner during a dinner rush. I received some complementary wood fired bread which was good, but mostly burned throughout. I also ordered a Pescatore pasta and the dish was horribly inconsistent on many levels. Some parts were piping hot. Some parts were lukewarm. Other parts were ice cold. The pasta was cold and horribly undercooked. I took two bites and refused to eat the rest. Overall the whole dish felt processed and reheated. It was an underwhelming experience. Thankfully the staff refunded me my order, but hopefully it will not make me sick. There is also a reason why this space has been a million things since I came to Brooklyn.

Yelp
We tried the chicken parm hero and the vodka pizza. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge! We easily could have split either or, but it was nice to have the leftovers! The service was great, very attentive. It was a nice, cozy spot just across from the amusement park. Highly recommend if you're looking for a sit down restaurant on Coney Island!

Yelp
Wow beautiful chandeliers, soft and calm music, comfortable seating, view of wood oven pizza cooking in dining room, delicious and HEALTHY foods. Good service ! Will return.

Yelp
What a pleasant surprise...stopped in here to get lunch, hoping for a welcome break from fast food row. Found the food to be fresh, deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked. Had the muscles, the bruschetta, the eggplant parmigiana rolls and a large pepperoni pie. Everything was cooked to perfection and our server was incredibly attentive but not so much that you felt rushed. We finished with gelato that tasted like Florence and inspired us for our next trip back. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Thrilled that I've found this restaurant! So far, I have placed an order here 3 times for the Sofia Loren pizza pie, and it has been consistently perfect! All ingredients are fresh, and the pizza is so flavorful. I haven't tried anything else off of their menu yet because I'm just obsessed with this pizza. Delivery is always quick, so that's a huge bonus. This place is now my go-to for pizza, particularly the Sofia Loren. Thank you, Teura! Ya'll are fabulous. 100 % worth the visit.

Yelp
It's very tasty and plentiful food. The garlic bread tastes real good. I see the people in that neighborhood enjoy eating there.

Yelp
Stopped in here after attending a Brooklyn Cyclones game. This place was formerly Pizza Brook, so I was expecting a pizzeria, but the new owner offers a lot more. They lightened up the interior of the place and also added new furnishings. We shared the Mediterranean Grilled Octopus. Very tasty. We also shared the House Special Pizza (beef prosciutto, mixed mushrooms and olives). Delicious. Highly satisfyingly. I also had two Peroni drafts, and our host kindly comped one of them. Will definitely return next time I attend a Brooklyn Cyclones game.

Yelp
What a delight to finally jave a restaurant with quality meals, and nice comfortable Atmosphere. The food was top notch. The Backed clams made fresh not a mixture pre-made than spooned into a shell the clam was whole with great blend also paried it with mozzarella sticks which was made and breaded just enough not to overpower the cheese Our entrees were a light Gnocchi with a poached egg was tasty the sauce added to dish as not overcome . My lasagna was a treat I expected a cut slice from a pre-made tray. I got a huge hot sizzling dish ready made not a tower with layers. But more a deconstructed type . Which was enjoyable and pleasant surprise. Qe were so full we passed on dessert , I welcome this place highly with a good price range and a desire to try the rest of menu. Either for a lunc or an elegant dinner . BRAVO

Yelp
My friend and I checked out this restaurant to celebrate my college graduation. I can say hands down that all of the food that we both had tasted delicious! Everything was cooked well and was very filling. Both of us had to get a to go box! The service was very friendly and respectful. The waiters were ready to collect and give our orders and answer any questions we had. Additionally, the location of the restaurant is great. You get a nice view of the boardwalk along with a comfortable atmosphere with the interior of the restaurant. I would go here again the next time I'm at Coney Island, thank you for my graduation day extra special!

Yelp
Both the food and service were excellent. We came here to celebrate Mother's Day a day early after visiting the aquarium. The location is close by the aquarium and Luna Park. The gentleman who I believe was the owner was so kind and generous. You can tell he cared about the customer's experience. Their house made bread was so so yummy that we asked for a second portion. It was chewy and light on the inside and crispy on the outside. It came with this unique spread that everyone enjoyed. All our apps and entrees were delicious. The decor and ambiance of the place was also great. Would come back again when we're in the area.

Yelp
Went at 5pm on a Friday, it was surprisingly empty. Albanian waiter was such a G on my date. Excellent service, amazing food, meals were a ittle over $20 each but portions were great. Scenery is beautiful, and they were always checking and offering. Would recommend and go again.

Yelp
We stopped in for Prosecco and cheesecake. The cheesecake was so good. It was fresh with real vanilla bean. You could also taste the cheese without it being overpowering. It was not overly sweet. The crust was excellent. Just perfect. Thanks for the great experience of New York Cheesecake.

Omayra M.

Yelp
Excellent food, exceptional service & reasonably priced. Dennis was on point. attentive without intrusion. Helped one of my guests with gluten sensitivity and pointed out which desserts were gluten-free. Something I've never experienced & thought was long forgotten, we were gifted an "on the house" shareable dessert. Word of caution after your meal they will remind you about dessert. Do yourself a favor and indulge the chocolate mousse cake was to die for. The ricotta cheesecake was delectable. The vanilla panna cotta was soo good. Look forward to returning for another exceptional meal.

Yelp
Came in with family after Coney Island on Mon. Decor is lovely with a nice wine display. New and clean, from table to restrooms. I felt underdressed because it was so nice, but we were greeted with a warm welcome. Our server was very attentive and professional. Perfect place to take someone on a date. The bread served was delicious, my daughter tried to take it all. The sun-dried tomato/butter/foam was really good. We ate everything and brought pizza home. The grilled shrimp in my salad was delicious along with the rest of it. My bf ordered a dish with a ginormous scallop and mussels in a red sauce and said it was fresh and cleared his plate. At the end they brought out a complimentary panna cotta dessert that was light and so delicious. I'd come back just for that. Definitely recommend to others and will be back. Thank you and may your business be blessed. Take care

Yelp
Made a quick day trip to Coney Island while visiting NYC. We wanted something other than a hot dog or fried xxx, so we went out to the main street where we got off the train. About a block away, we saw Teura and decided to give them a try. The place itself was impeccably clean and attractive. All the folks there were very friendly. The young server raved about their house made bread and he was totally accurate. Crisp crust and soft, airy inside. I could have just eaten the bread! Fortunately, I got a pepperoni calzone. It gushed with ricotta and some of the best mozzarella I've had. Dipping marinara came with it, naturally. At $10, I felt like I was stealing but the server assured me the price was right. Anywhere else I've had something lesser, I've paid $15-18. My partner had the chicken parm sandwich, which came on their excellent house bread and included some great crispy fries. She could only get thru about half of a half of the sandwich and sadly couldn't carry the rest along on our journey. A quality spot like this should be packed every day and I hope a good review will help.

Yelp
Food was made with love. Restaurant was very clean and well maintained. Very professional and a delightful meal.

Yelp
This miraculous apparition of a restaurant is serving perfectly charred octopus in a delicate tomato sauce laced with vibrantly green basil-infused olive oil *just steps from the Wonder Wheel.* The pizza is excellent, too, and perfectly paired with heaping bowls of crisp, acidic salads, generously tossed with creamy feta (or its Albanian equivalent?). All of this plus attentive service and a bright and airy dining room make for an unbeatable upgrade from boardwalk hotdogs.

Ann T.

Yelp
Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Teura last night with three friends! From start to finish everything was terrific. We split the Qebapa (grilled veal sausage) as a starter, shared salads (so fresh - and big enough for two people!) and had a variety of entrees. All were delicious. My Gullash was tender and spiced to perfection. The wine list offered great choices. Service was super-attentive. The decor was sublime - a clean, sophisticated beach vibe. You should go!

Yelp
We visited this restaurant on 7/31/2023, and had a wonderful time. There were six of us and everyone had something different. Every dish was delicious , the service was excellent. The front windows open so on a nice night you can enjoy the ambiance of Coney Island. The staff made us feel at home and just like family. If you are going to be in the area this is something you do not want to miss.
