Teuscher High quality Swiss Chocolates & Café

I was excited to try the truffles. However, the wait was exorbitantly long to be helped. Painfully slow. No sense of urgency whatsoever. No greeting when I walked through the door. When I was eventually served the staff was not very helpful in explaining any of the different types of truffles. I settled on four different types of truffles, they were gritty and dry. I was expecting a melt in your mouth experience. Huge disappointment.

Absolutely delicious. Worth the price! We could taste the quality . I enjoyed the pistachio truffle and my bf really liked the the zebra ___ (forgot to what it was called). Kind service too. Can’t wait to come back

The lady is the sweetest lady ever the coffee is great so are the chocolates we come here alot -thank you for everything. This place is wonderful and you are so sweet.

Was glad to see Teuscher back in Newport Beach again so stopped by to check it out . Had hot chocolate and some of truffles . Hot chocolate was good but wasn’t blown away by chocolates . Today was my second visit . Ask for hot chocolate again and a chocolate bar . Hot chocolate was ok , but not hot enough for me ( I always emphasize it when ordering) the lady was nice , so I decided not to make big deal and tipped her $3. I purchased coffee chocolate bar , but forgot to check whether it’s dark or milk or in between ( I am a dark chocolate guy) .So I walked out , made literally 5 steps , realized that there is no cocoa content indication on the chocolate bar , then turned around, walked back and asked if I could exchange it for just a pure dark chocolate bar . The lady promptly refused saying that I walked out ( for 5 sec) so she can’t exchange unopened chocolate bar once it was out . Seriously ? Your chocolate truffles are $4.25 a piece chocolates are $10 and $18 , so it attracts very special and devout clientele . And this is how you treat someone who is becoming a regular ? Who tips you $3 for nothing ? Needless to say it was my last time there .

Amazing store along the Pacific Coast Highway that we visited while we were waiting for our table to open up at Sugarfish across the street. The coffees can all be made decaf and the decaf iced cafe latte was very good! The vast selection of chocolates, all imported from Switzerland, was as visually intriguing as it is uniquely delicious. The chocolates can either come in a bag or a box. The lady working at the store had her heart in the role and it was a wonderful pleasure to have her help us. She even recommended one of the most popular chocolates, which I ended up loving. The ambience is great with a couple of tables and some chairs outside, a clean and cozy interior, and a lovely red banner outside the shop. A great place to visit while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant (so that parking is taken care of).

I might return. It's a small family ran chocolate store. We got the pistachio truffle, walnut milk gianduja and their rocher. For drink we got an unsweetened ice cold latte. The lady helping us quiet and it was a very straight forward experience. The only sitting they have is sidewalk sitting. Parking can be a problem since it's a very busy area. The store seems dated and the store looks dated.

10/31/24 8:22am Ambiance: I actually liked it. Although it's a small space and very limited outside seating available, I thought of it as more of a to go place for coffee, chocolates, etc. Food: I ordered a hot chocolate (milk chocolate or dark chocolate - I chose milk chocolate, extra chocolate). A lot different from your average Starbucks or store bought stuff. This was pretty good. I'm unsure how to describe it taste wise BUT it wasn't watered down as I drank it overtime. Would I order this again? Yes! I'd even consider this better than Starbucks and Dutch Bros Hot Cocoa. Service: Nothing special but the lady that was working was nice and no complaints here. Other: A lot of different chocolate options (even truffles!) Some expensive options too but I'm sure it's worth the money. I might come back & try the chocolate itself soon enough!

My friend took me to this adorable little coffee and chocolate shop on my day off. Ava is the owner and she was very warm and welcoming to me on this lovely rainy day. I believe I had a caramel latte with oat milk which was honestly one of the best cups of coffee I've had in a while! On top of that, she offered me a cookie which she warmed up. The chocolate chips inside the cookie were melted and the walnuts gave it an added crunch. Since it was raining, all the outdoor furniture was inside. If it wasn't raining, it would have been such a great place to sit and enjoy the coffee and cookie. Ava was so sweet and it was great actually being able to talk to the owner. She offered me a pistachio and a champagne chocolate. Normally I'm not a fan of chocolate but these tasted very rich and good. Since her son and I are friends, she gave me a box of six chocolates that I ended up surprise my boyfriend with for Valentine's day! Overall this was a lovey experience and I would recommend coming here for a cup of coffee and a side of chocolates. I'm definitely coming back with my friends and boyfriend. Thanks again Ava for making my experience memorable!

This location is not the best. It looks old, ugly, and doesn't reflect Teuscher's greatness at all. Their products taste old and lack richness. I love Teuscher, but I wouldn't recommend this location at all.

Teuscher is exceptional. This location (franchise operated) gave us a chocolate that was either frozen or refrigerated. When I received it, it was wet in the plastic wrapper from condensation. Had a stale taste as well. Chocolate appeared that it has been partially melted prior to refrigerating /freezing on many of their chocolates on display. These chocolates are shipped from Zurich Switzerland. The owner of this location does not keep quality control. Would highly recommend the Beverly Hills location, they preserve the chocolates appropriately.

This place is awful! What a shame to the brand and the owner is rude as hell and very unprofessional. If you are selling chocolates at least pretend to be a happy person. Good luck I'm never coming back!!!

My husband was out of town and bought me a $148 box of chocolate. It was so old it tasted like wax and dirt. The store is two hours away from my house...that's four hours round trip. I made the trip and they refused to exchange the un eaten box of chocolate. I called my bank to dispute the charge and they asked me for his name. I walked back in and asked for the man's name of which he refused to give me. As I am writing this review, the man came out of the store to take a picture of the license plate of the car I am in. This store is selling expired chocolate and has horrible customer service. Avoid this store...if you want chocolate that's not expired, there is a sees candy down the street.

Ava, at the the Corona de Mar store is exceptional. Profesional, friendly and extremely hard working. It does not matter if you are puchasing one piece of chocolate of larger order... Ava kind to everyone. On Valentines day the store was understandably extremely busy. She was working as diligently as usual and helping each customers as she does each and every day. A very rude and entitled customer walked out because he was upset he had to wait for ten short minutes to be helped. The store and expecially this hardworking shop keeper did not deserve his attitude and treatment. He then had the nerve to offer his poor and pouty review. Sir, plan ahead and be graterful you can shop in such a lovely community for such an expensive luxury. At the very least, don't take it out on the employee who is short staffed and doing her best! Teuscher Chocolates are simply the best tasting chocolate in the world. My husband absolutely loves their Champagne Truffles. It's his favorite gift for his birthday, Christmas, Father's Day and any other special occasion. Try them and you will not eat any other chocolate.

So rude - owner is awful. He was rude to my sweet 90 year mom, which is just awful and totally uncalled for. Can't believe they're still in business.

Pistachio Truffle, Dom Perignon champagne truffle, & milk chocolate! They're all good! You can't go wrong with Teuscher. This is their new location after shutting down the Fashion Island location during the COVID-19 pandemic. Try them out!

I don't think they are worth the price due to their " a little stale" taste. I have to admit their pistachio truffle was out of this world but orange, walnut, caramel were even less flavorful than See's...... yeah right, I said it.

This is a super cute shop but they don't have any fully dairy free options. They have plenty of dark chocolate options but if you need full dairy free, this isn't the place so we left without purchasing.

Stopped in to pick up all my last holiday gifts. Truly exceptional chocolate and I thought it was the perfect gift for employees who may not have tried Teuscher. Glad we have one so close to my house

best quality chocolates I've had, I wish I found this place sooner! their champagne truffles melt in your mouth, and everything else I've tried is also amazing. highly worth a visit
