The great: the catfish, which was seasoned well and cooked just right. The good: the vegetables, I'd eat those all day. In fact if I went there to catch a game I'd snack on their vegetable sides. The bad: the gumbo. Mine had too much oil, which I think is fine for some people but not for me. I couldn't finish it. I think the taste could be there, but they've got to cut back on the oil and allow the flavors to express themselves.

As I recall the pizza place that use to be here Mangia Pizza. So starting with the gator bites was more bread than meat, no spice and dipping in the sauce was okay. The catfish dinner, got fried catfish and the fish was tender but it was flavorless as the breading had a good crunch to it but no favor and the fried orka and Mac and cheese. The cheese was definitely velvety cheese and basic and the big bacon piece and sprinkle of bread Crums could have used more. The funnel fries were interesting and good but with only caramel and chocolate sauce with strawberry jam. No powder sugar or whipped cream. The biggest issue I would say is they need to make or let the customer know that they can add spice to the Dishes because Cajun food traditional has spice to it with plenty of flavor. Not this place

New Cajun restaurant and sports bar. I had the catfish which were great with no muddy flavor. The blackened catfish was surprisingly good. The cup of gumbo had a nice little spicy kick.

The food here is good and the Staff was so friendly and service was great. I had the Cajun Chicken Pasta and loved it. The sauce was creamy & just spicy enough. We also ordered the Wings with the Cajun Dry Rub and found them delicious. This has been open since November 2021 & is located where Mangia's Pizza used to be but has been re-done to be a Sport's bar with many big screen TV's. Check it out and definitely try the Cajun Chicken Pasta.

Cons - the Jambalaya with white rice, the sausages finely chopped and the chicken and pieces of tomatoes. Not whole round pieces of sausages. Shrimp sandwich 🥪 not worth 14.99. Wasn't stuffed with shrimp. Consider using French bread. Pros - The shrimp sandwich tasted good.

1st time here and it won’t be the last! We had the Cajun Pasta, Carfish Étouffée, and Tacos. Great flavors and good portions. They even have games to keep you entertained while you wait on your food. Jenga, Dominoes and others. Check ‘em out!

Noticed that my favorite pizza place had changed hands to a cajun grill, so took the family to try it out. It was a Thursday night, and they had a special all you can eat catfish that night for around $10, so my son and I tried that. He got the blackened and I had the fried. Both dishes came out perfect. He tried some of mine & I tried some of his and when we reordered more, he got what I first tried and I did likewise. My other 2 sons said their dishes were really delicious, and perfectly seasoned as well. Everything tasted fresh, and the catfish pieces were HUGE. I doubt you'll find them bigger anywhere else, cause believe me, I eat a lot of catfish, and have got it from just about every restaurant in Austin. Wait staff was excellent, and very attentive as well. Great atmosphere. TRY IT!!
