Have I never eaten at a Texas best smokehouse before? Do I not read my own reviews? The answer to both questions is yes. But I was hungry, and I had to stop for fuel. I'll just go through this real quick. The dish with the green and yellow squash was okay. It needed a little bit of salt. The Mac and cheese was drowned in Velveeta.🫩 The brisket was very tender, but also very flavorless. The addition of barbecue sauce is mandatory.

Google
Asked for brisket sliced thin. Not chopped. Got this. And it's a bit tougher than I have ever gotten before. Edit..... brisket not worth eating. Way dryer and tougher than first thought. I had 5 bites tying to see if it was just a fluke... it wasn't. Just a big waste of money.

Google
What a great place! Best ribs and brisket and egg tacos. My dogs and I love this place. The young lady working today in the restaurant was really sweet! Very cool people here. And the gentleman working at register closest to truckers entrance was way cool. Great being a greeter! And great personality.

Google
Nice people, clean place but pretty disappointed with the food, had a low average brisket with no flavor but tender. Mac and cheese is good

Google
Nicest bathrooms I’ve seen on the road. I didn’t eat at the restaurant but got some awesome jerky selections and array of truffles! So unique and special. Was able to pick up some perfect Texas souvenirs before we headed back home too.

Google
I will chalk this up to one of the best places I’ve ever been! And I’ve been to whole lot! This is so much more than a convenient store. It’s a food experience. The BBQ was spectacular and so were the sides. Mike behind the counter is a ray of sunshine and just so unbelievably sweet. He’s perfect for the job and I hope appreciated. I will post pictures because seeing is believing. It was clean and the selection of food was amazing. There’s even a Sonic inside. Wow what a must see and eat in Tyler, Texas. What a fantastic find!

Google
The food was good for a gas station stop. I enjoyed the mash potatoes the best. You get a lot of food for a decent price. The meat was cold though and I would have preferred it to be warmer. I gave the corn bread to my son since it wasn't gluten free and he didn't eat it. Overall it did the job for the quick stop we needed to do while traveling.

Google
Texas best?? More like Texas medium! If it wasn't for the store next door, the restaurant would be 2stars. Store bought sides, no seasonings. How hard would it be to add smoked meat to the greens!? We all know how greens should taste. Big price, for less food. Wouldn't be so bad if the workers were actually nice. Instead they act like they're severing school lunches. I travel as a truck driver, and Texas has better. Hopefully the reviews will help make changes. I'll try them again in a month.

Yelp
This location unlike other locations by the same name has good moist sausages. With friendly staff that's happy to help and show us the cuts before we pay.

Yelp
This place has it all whether you want to come in and sit down for a hot meal or get snacks for on the go or walk around and look for some toys, souvenirs and trinkets. I thought I was just going to purchase gas, take a quick restroom break and get a snack. When I opened the door my eyes and ears changed my mind. There's fudge, truffles, candy, cakes, pies, cookies, salads and deli sandwiches. All said to be made fresh daily! I ended up perusing the store for over an hour and running my mouth with management in the restaurant and the store. Everything was so well organized and smells wonderful! Whoever the designer is, kudos to you!! You know your marketing niche! Although the restaurant prices were a little high it's worth it and typical for the taste and offerings. The gas station part does offer cold selections that are labeled and you can microwave since the restaurant closes at 11pm. I bought Chicken Fajita Wraps at $6.99 (3) very large from refrigerated section. There's also home decor available for purchase....

Yelp
Good food. Good service. Clean bathrooms. This gas station has it all! Tons of gifts items & toys for the kids. Baked goods. Fudge & chocolates. Worth the stop!

Yelp
Teas Best Smokehouse used to be a place I like to stop at when I travel from dallas to Shreveport. I enjoy their food and everything else you find at their store. They have lots of great gifts and a large selection of candles. However the last time we stopped I was very disappointed. Their customer service at the food counter was horrible. The people behind the counter were very rude and the food was cold and dry. I don't remember the last time I was treated like this. I've sent in an official complaint. mainly because I felt discriminated against.

Yelp
Mediocre at best. Headed to TN, and had to stop to use the restrooms. Since we were hungry and this place appeared to be pretty popular we opted to grab a bite to eat as well. This is a store with several different food options. There is a sonic inside, the BBQ spot, and then a dessert/deli option. We ordered from the BBQ spot. I had a chicken plate with collard greens and a pea salad. My boyfriend had a catfish plate with zucchini and broccoli rice. The chicken was charred and dry. Not sure why they over cooked it. I wish I would have taken a picture. The greens taste like they came out of a can, the pea salad was the only thing I can give kudos to. I tried my boyfriends fish. It has a very thick breading on it with a good flavor. However, it is salty. He enjoyed the cornbread and his sides. I did grab two macaroons from the dessert section. They are not homemade and taste a little stale. Neither flavor tasted like the actual flavor, I had pistachio and hazelnut. Just not worth the calories. The only saving grace for this place is the service. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. If you are not picky about your food, this place will suffice. I love a good tasting meal, so for me it's a no!

Yelp
Very friendly servers , food was hot , fresh , plentiful, delicious, this was connected to a gas station, would definitely recommend. We had ribs , brisket, spicy sausage. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
This is a mega-convenience store with a barbecue restaurant and a Sonic and and and! This store has everything. Cakes, pots, barbecue, is like a mini-store with everything. I'm bringing to know what they say everything in Texas is bigger. I found vegan beef jerky, gourmet chocolate, fudge, etc. And I had the opportunity to sample a rib. Not bad, but not my favorite.
google avatar

Aaron B.

Yelp
Salt and pepper would help. Hell, any seasoning. I could still taste the tin can from the green beans, zucchini was just bland and the shredded brisket was fairly bland too with dried parts I seriously mistook for plastic. Something about the way the kid put the meat on the tray to weigh it reminded me of a cafeteria scene in a movie. Good news is; my dog liked it.
google avatar

Yelp
Have eaten here three times now. Lots to choose from. Lots of homemade (?) desserts and candies and truffles! Oh my! Choice of meats and veggies. Liked it very much. Something for everyone. Was told it was better before the pandemic and less expensive. Used to have more condiments/sauce choices/toppings i.e. jalapenos. Still worth a stop. Just have a big stash of cash.
google avatar

Martha F.

Yelp
The food was incredible. Definitely recommend the 2 side 4 meats Plate that way you can taste all the meats they have. The sauce was very delicious. All the flavors were super good. Not bad for a bbq in side the market.

Yelp
Really nice nice place to stop on my way back home to NOLA. They have a sonic, BBQ joint, jerky station, clean bathrooms and of course gas. This is the only gas station that offers my favorite beef jerky...ghost pepper beef jerky!! Omg talk about a wake up kick when driving.
google avatar

Yelp
This is really hard to get down!!! The driest brisket I've had on this side of Texas!!! 2/10 won't try again!!
google avatar

Nuvia D.

Yelp
Definitely the best place I could've chosen for my first place arriving to Texas. Loved the ribs and the potatoes. I've always been skeptical about Mac n cheese but the bbq sauce is what made everything come together perfectly.
google avatar

Kevin G.

Yelp
Excellent BBQ. They know how to smoke meat and have a great sauce. I didn't try any of the sides but if they are half as good as the smoked meats they offer, it'll be good.

Yelp
I've been thinking about this review for a couple of days, trying to decide how many stars to award. They are better than three, but not quite a four when you think about the totality that is Texas Barbecue. In the end, I realized that there are two main types of Texas 'que, and they should not be compared. Central Texas style is King, and better than any other styles anywhere. That said, East Texas style is quite good too, hence the four stars. The brisket sandwich I had was quite tasty, with very little fat. The sauce to go on it was sweet, thin, and smoky and paired beautifully with the meat. Additionally, the pinto beans were quite good; a bit on the spicy side, but flavorful nonetheless. My wife had a loaded baked potato, that was very tasty and large, but a tiny bit underdone. All in all, it was well worth the stop. Having driven in from Dallas to attend a funeral nearby, it was a great alternative to any other choices we might have made. I have a cousin that lives nearby and it is one of her favorite places. Well done!

Yelp
I stopped here for one reason and one reason only: fried pies. I had seen some photos of these delicacies online, and I had to try one for myself. I selected a vanilla pie and immediately noticed that it wasn't warm. Still, the package said that they were made fresh daily, so I decided to give it a shot. It was cold, and didn't seem so fresh, and the crust was surprisingly salty, but it was still tasty nonetheless. It just made me wonder how magnificent it could have been, had it been fresh and warm.

Yelp
Awesome place to stop and relax for a few. take a break get something to eat it's definitely worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
Clean areas, pleasant staff... Many items both functional & tourist type... Barbecue still available, as is take out & plate lunch. Also fast food inside, still has afternoon shake soec The parking lot needs a redo... definitely has been worn down & much broken concrete. They built a separate driver lounge, that was a surprise. Looks good. Limited parking. The barbecue was exceptionally good, really enjoyed it. Although, I do not eat much barbecue.. it's hard to find places that know how to season it.

Yelp
Just got to talk about this awesome place. Every time I go to Dallas, Texas I have to stop here. Yummy food and lots of it. Staff are all friendly and informative. Myself And two other friends got the lunch special. Lots of choices all different kinds of meat cooked to perfection. The sides were all really good too. Oh and the bakery oh my goodness any kind of pie or cake cookie or candy and fried pies the fried pie are an like an enormous selection of pies that I had never heard of before. Now let me just say a little bit about all the different quality of things that they have in here. Hats T-shirts all kinds of jellies and jams and sauces more different types of candies and cookies and oh my goodness the awesome different types of drinks I've never seen. Just got to go by and check this place out yeah it's pretty attic.

Yelp
This place was such a fun surprise on our way through to Dallas! The turkey was the best we'd ever had! Catfish was awesome and the people there were super cool. We've vowed to always make this a must stop on our way through.

Yelp
It's a truck stop, so giving it 5*s feels like a reach. But The the staff is always so friendly, and the restrooms are always clean. The stuff is fun to shop. And we ALWAYS stop every-time.

Ronnie H.

Yelp
They say they close at 10 but by 930 they have almost pulled all their food and put plastic over the sides.. (vegetables) I'm assuming they reuse it the next day. The young lady with a ponytail, who works there is hostile with a bad attitude. She comes off as very lazy. Myself and friends have complained about her to the management but they have allowed her to go unchecked. Not a culture of bad behavior because she is the only one who rolls her eyes while you place your order. Never any tea ready and after 8 forget it. The banana pudding is spot on. I'll try to go here at least three days a week but if I see that one employee I just go next-door to Subway or Carl's Jr.
google avatar

Glenn L.

Yelp
Bought gas and 3 pre wrapped deli sandwiches to go. Dummy me. I would never in my life think an employee would give me sell by today date sandwich. It was bad. Threw up in my mouth. Called and spoke to Javier. Wants me to drive 350 miles so he can give me another wonderful sandwich. He would have to have the credit card I used to refund my money. Total balonNext time I'll buy gas and food across the street. Inspected what was left of the sandwiches I didn't eat and found mold growing on the bread crust. Unbelievable.
google avatar

Tamala H.

Yelp
The food is EXCELLENT! The staff is super friendly and the restrooms are clean. They have a lot of cute stuff to shop for. And the coffee is pretty good. We try to stop and eat there every time we go thru the area.
google avatar

Teri D.

Yelp
Wow! Great BBQ. We really wanted breakfast burritos but we were too late. However the sandwiches... Wow! For the win. There was no wait and we were immediately asked for our order. We got both a turkey and ham sandwich. The meat is cut there so it will take just a minute. We didn't get any sides since we were going to eat in the car but they looked delicious. Would stop again and get another sandwich!

Yelp
Omg I swear this place had the best ribs I've ever had. Everything tasted so so good!!! Found this place on accident while on a road trip lol. Best discovery ever!

Yelp
This was an interesting place to stop along the desolate Texas highway. It helped our group as there was a wide variety of food choices for all of our weiried tavelers. I opted for a safe burgers. The orhers tried some smoked meats and amazing deli sandwiches. The only negstive i have is in relation to their jerky meats. The spicy beef was really good but the exotic meats were not near worth the price. BE Aware! You need o ask prices on the jerky. I was shocked after picking a couple when it was over $40 for tiny bags that are usually $5-$7 in Oklahoma. Worth the stop, just not a fan of the jerky.

Yelp
To General Manager of Texas Best Smokehouse #3. I am a very Loyal Customer that makes a point of coming here to you establish each time I travel from Beverly Hills, California to Florida. On this particular trip around 7:30 pm on Tuesday May 2, 2017. My Husband and I stopped to order our usual; 4 meats and double broccoli and rice. I walked straight up David said can I help you and I stated I would like to have double broccoli, rice and cheese with 4 meats please. He immediately started putting broccoli on my plate and proceeded to ask me what other side. I looked at David and said, I would like to have double Broccoli and rice that's why I walked towards it. David immediately got an attitude. This I found to be very distasteful. While correcting David , Rachel was asking about my meat choices and I was still talking with David. Once I made eye contact with Rachel I gave her my order and the first item was not available which was sausage links. Rachel said they only had the jalapeño links. So then I asked for the brisket cut from the end with fat removed. Then Rachel said to me this is the end I am cutting from and I explained to her that it wasn't the end it was the other side. Once I stated this, Avery told Rachel to move to the register and she would handle me. Avery beginning pulling the fat off the brisket and then asked if I wanted it sliced or chopped. Then what other meat did I want, some what with an unpleasant attitude. I said to her I would like ribs and once she pulled them out of the warmer they looked dry so I asked if I could have some fresher ones. She turned and snatched a new slab out of the warmer and proceeded to cut me three off and I nicely asked if I could have the tip she cut off and put to the side and Avery stated to me she can only give me three ribs and I said to her I want the tip so she proceeded to snatch the other rib out of my plate and threw the tip in. I felt that was rude and totally unprofessional. While Avery is still fixing my plate Rachel is saying is that all. I acknowledge her and said I wasn't finished I am ordering a half a rack of baby backs. Once I did make it to Rachel to pay I explained to her I come here faithfully and this was the worse service I had ever experienced here and was her manager available and Avery rolled her eyes and said she was the manager. You could have scrapped my face off the floor.. I asked to use the pen after I finishing signing my charge receipt to write down each person name. I am a very dissatisfied customer and my 4 trips I make her will no longer be because I can't afford to spend my money where I have to get offended by Management and Staff. Totally BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. The Rolling Romantics Pompey's Beverly Hills, CA 90211 7025752813 ourears_theirvoices@yahoo.com

Yelp
I am not a fan of barbecue, but I just had to have some during my trip through Texas. This location is Texas sized (aka humongous) and connected to a gas station/convenience store on I-20 West. I arrived here at about 5 in the morning, when they were serving breakfast, but was able to convince them to serve me a brisket sandwich anyway. It was fantastic eating! The sandwich was absolutely delicious. It was made with lean meat, and the sauce on it was the perfect blend of smoky and sweet. The meat was juicy and easy for me to eat. You can now call me a fan of brisket sandwiches. Thank you Texas, for allowing me to see the error of my ways! I have finally discovered a brisket sandwich that was not dry. As a side, I opted to have a loaded baked potato on the side which was humongous and cooked perfectly. I nearly got the beans, thinking that it would be apropos given where I was, but I decided to opt out, since I still had a load of traveling to do. The gift shop was interesting. It had an array of touristy items, jerky, and even cans of its famous barbeque sauce, which I bought for some friends of mine in AZ. Sure, they are a bit pricier than normal, but that's to be expected in a truck stop like this. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving this place a visit if you are on a road trip and traveling through East Texas. Heck, I'd even recommend this place if you are a local, it's just that good!
google avatar

Kellie H.

Yelp
I have stopped here for years. NOT anymore!!!! Came in today for gas and goodies. Half the staff had their nose of their mask uncovered. People walking around without a mask and a vendor restocking chips had no mask at all!!! HORRIBLE!!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place. Texas best is a great stop for a quick meal or for the night. Their is 5 diesel pumps available, roomy lot with approximately 20 parking spots for tractor trailers. Cat scales on site. There is a great little truckers lounge with comfortable seating and s big screen TV. The C store is stocked full of unique gifts and souvenirs as well as a good variety of jams, jellies and pickled foods. They have beef jerky, and an assortment of ready maid deli sandwich's Sonic with a drive through. The BBQ is not to be missed. A little pricey but worth it. BBQ chicken, turkey, brisket and ribs to name a few dishes and there is plenty of sides to go with. The staff always makes me feel welcome here.

Yelp
This place is a true gem, the bbq was delicious especially paired with their in-house honey habanero hot sauce They have an amazing selection of sauces, jerky, and pickles everything's for sale. Very clean, comfortable, and filled with whatever you might need (and some stuff you probably didn't).

Yelp
Actually not that bad for upscale gas station food. This place is something you do not see everyday.. it's part gas station, part store, and part restaurant which makes the dynamic very interesting. Since we were in Texas of course the restaurant had served primarily BBQ. The spread itself looked very pleasing to the eye since they serve everything "cafeteria style". They had everything you could think of that a southern meal should include. I personally had the combo plate which came with 3 meats (I chose brisket, ribs, and sausage), corn bread, and broccoli and cheese casserole. The food itself was good, I wouldn't say it was out of this world amazing but it definitely got the job done, it was just missing that something special in the seasoning... it's that special thing in bbq that is sort of hard to describe... its one of those things that when you taste it, it just knocks you off of your feet. What really is the star of this place are the original fried pies. Those pies are heaven on earth!! I myself has the pecan fried pie and to be honest when I first got it I was afraid it was going to be too sweet, but it turned out to be just right and it was still warm while I was eating it. I would solely come back to this place and travel all the way back to Texas just for those delicious pies!

Petercat L.

Yelp
Best smoked chicken I've ever had! Will definitely stop here again, the location was clean and staff was friendly.

Sergio V.

Yelp
Cold food, not cheap, on the gas station, not wearing masks. Certainly, not worth it. Go anywhere else.

Yelp
On several occasions Texas Best Smokehouse has done a fantastic job catering lunch for my company and have NOT disappointed in the least. Highly recommend even if you're just passing through!

Yelp
In the great city of Tyler, TX, capital of the nation of East Texas, BBQ reigns supreme of the foods. There is so many grand BBQ places to choose from! However, Texas Best truly does deserve its name. Located in 271 and 20, this FINE establishment, located in an unassuming gas station is a phenomenal addition to the BBQ scene of Tyler, TX. I know, a BBQ place in a gas station? It sounds sketch but here me out! Their. Food. Is. DELICIOUS! Meat cooked tender and delicious. Ribs falling off the bone to dissolve in your mouth. Mac and cheese that you will physically be unable to stop eating! And a cobbler that will fill up your tank and carry your for miles. This place is delicious! And its location makes it easy access for any weary traveler making their way across East Texas AND for hungry hospital workers taking care of patients at the UT Health Science Center just down the hwy on 271. Absolutely love getting lunch from this place!

Yelp
WOW! My homeboy is a trucker and wanted me to try yall's ribs. I was a little hesitant because he got them yesterday and drove them back to Atlanta Ga! A minute in the microwave and my kitchen smelled like they were still cooking on the grill! Tender and full of flavor! And the sauce is BOSS!!
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place, every time I pass through here I stop either to eat or spend the night, I always buy their cinnamon honey for my coffee, people cry too much on the review section, grow up kids!

Yelp
I used to pass this combination truck-stop, BBQ restaurant and Sonic Drive in for almost 15 years before I gave it a try. I travel from my home in Richardson, Texas to see my family in Monroe, Louisiana all the time and this is now a new tradition. I was an immediate and incurable addict to the BBQ they serve.... This is a large establishment with abundant car and truck parking. It's spotlessly clean on the inside including the bathrooms, and the service is East Texas friendly. If you do not know what East Texas friendly means, magnify Southern hospitality times 100. And the food! I've always admired the countless side-dishes. The mouth-watering cobblers. The tangy potato salads. The sinful desserts. But never tried them because the sliced smoke sandwich was so freaking big I would not have room! This is not you powder-puff derby BBQ. The is the real deal. The handsome cat who cuts up the meat recognized me because I always just get a sandwich with no sides. I then told him I occasionally write food reviews. He then wheeled around, opened the oven and pulled out what had to be a 15 pound whole smoked brisket. I then requested meat from the "top deck" or the crispy fatty section. You can smell the smoke outside so you know how delicious the meat must be. AND NO SKIMPY PORTIONS! At least two to three inches of solid beef on a large bun just kissed with sauce. I took my time and enjoyed every bite and also enjoyed the people watching. This is soooooo not Manhattan! $4.99? Get outa here! Maybe it was $5.99. Call my investment banker! But that's around what it cost! BARGAIN! I noticed the rib and other plate lunches did not scrimp on anything. The ribs alone look like something off the Flintstones. Topping it all of is a HUGE country store selling everything from specialty candy to polished rocks. Please be sure and check out the photos!

Yelp
I stopped here for gas, and while I was paying for gas I overheard a guy said something about he heard that this place has good ribs, so I was like"good! I am hungry!" So I walked to there to get ribs. It's my first time there I didn't know how to order, I thought I have to order with the cashier, so I stood there waited for a good 5 mins for him to be done chatting with a couple, then after 5 mins he said "do you wanna order" I said yes, and he told me I need to order with that girl and then pay at the cashier..... The whole time that girl saw me waiting and didn't say anything. What's even more bizarre is that her attitude. While I was placing my order with her, she's got no facial expression whatsoever, and spoke in a super quiet volume that I can hardly hear what she said, so I had to ask her to repeat everything she said twice or three time. She seemed so uninterested I felt bad for her to work there. Will not stop here for food again. Oh btw the ribs were so bad I couldn't even finish it so I threw it away.

Yelp
I wasn't really expecting anything good from here but boy, when I had the first bite of that pork ribs.. I was blown away! They were so tender and perfectly smoked. Not salty at all and the sauce was perfection. Will be back definitely!

Yelp
I had just flown in from a trip to Washington, and stopped here to meet my mother to drive back into town. I waited around inside for my 63 year old mother to walk from her car into the store. No big deal, there was still a line. When she arrived inside the store, I kept trying to convince her to try something, because the food is amazing. After a couple of minutes of convincing, I get in line. There are two or three people in front of me. After waiting, they informed me the man in front of me was the last customer of the day. I was livid. TERRIBLE customer service skills. And why did they let me wait in line just to dismiss me as a customer? I felt singled out, embarrassed, and pretty upset because I was really looking forward to some good Texas BBQ after being up north! Being in the industry, you should serve each customer who is in line BEFORE close. I understand if I had got in line after they closed, but they had about ten or fifteen minutes left and still had food out. Terrible experience. Seemed like a bunch of kids who just wanted to be off work early to begin and enjoy their weekend. They need some work ethic or better customer service skills. Only two stars because the food is AMAZING.

Yelp
Not again, poor quality food, noisy obnoxious workers. This was our first time at this restaurant. The condiments and BBQ sauce area was a mess. I notified the staff and after three times telling them one of the employees reluctantly wiped up the area with a towel. The food was not at an appropriate temperature and did not have much taste. I don't think that I will go back.

Yelp
I haven't had much luck wit Texas BBQ in the past . It's been a long time since I've had any , so I figured I would give the state of Texas a chance to redeem itself. I came in the back of the store , and was glad I did . The smoke coming from the pits set the tone here , got to love the smell of a good hardwood smoke. I ordered the brisket dinner , it was tender and had a good flavor to it. There wasn't much bark on it , but I did get a small piece , that was good. I tried both their regular , and spicy sauce . Both were good , and the spicy has bite. My complaints are I ordered sliced , and it looked like it was chopped , but that's not a big thing . The other was the serving size , I would have liked a little more brisket.

Yelp
Gas is consistently .30 cents higher than anywhere else in the area, ATM fee is $4, coffee is disgusting and burnt every time I've had it. Now to the BBQ....do yourself a favor, go off the interstate a bit and find a decent BBQ shack. This place is just trash. The only reason this place stays open is its prime location on Interstate 20 and US 271. You can find far better food for way less money ten miles north, south, east or west of here. You can find gas for .30 cents cheaper the same distance. Do yourself a favor and just blow past this place.

Yelp
Good food! Problem: all 3 times I've gone, men are noticeably given much larger portions than female AND I've been overcharged! Today server even mashed out my meat to spread out on plate to look larger. I was overcharged by $3, lady in front of me was charged $17 for child's plate until she questioned then checkout lady got snippy. Food good, not spectacular. Certainly not worth $17.79 I was charged for a small slice beef plate w 2 sides!! To top it off, they say we get employee discount on phone but never given at checkout. Yes, we asked! Won't return for rude treatment.

Yelp
I've never had truck stop food before, but what a good thing to stumble on. Brisket was tender and Smokey flavored, as was the pulled pork. The mixed vegetables were seasoned well, and the potato salad was creamy and delicious. To top it off, the Iced tea wasn't half bad either. Need dessert? Walk over to the sonic counter and get some ice cream or, better yet, walk over to the check out counter for the gas station a get some homemade fudge (yum) or a piece of cheesecake. If you're on I-20, this is a great place to stop. Did I mention the restroom is clean? Oh, and the coffee choices don't suck either. Great place.
