We’ve been here a few times. The food has always been fresh. The salad bar and meat, at least. We were here to celebrate a birthday. This time, we let our server know the coke was flat or mis-calibrated or something. It tasted syrupy. It was not drinkable. The server said they had recently cleaned the machine and we weren’t the first to say that. We also ordered dessert, the papaya cream dessert. It was almost gritty or the cream clabbered 🤷🏼‍♀️ and certainly not cold. We’ve had it before and this wasn’t anything like before. I again let our server know and she basically responded with the same response. She said that we were not the first to let her know about that but she would let the chef know. I’m curious why they aren’t fixing the issues if they already knew about these issues. My opinion is when you’re paying for classier restaurants, they should be top tier. So if you’re going to eat here, don’t get soda or dessert - save your money - they are not worth the extra cost.

Google
Vladimir was such an amazing server. He was very attentive and welcoming. This was my first time here, and honestly, I don't think I'll be back. The meat lacked flavor. Some meats were very salty. The best part about my experience was the salad bar. I went home, telling myself that I would've had a better lunch at a fast food joint. I give our server a 5☆, but I don't think I'll be back.

I've been coming to this Texas de Brazil location for decades, though less frequently lately since it's a bit out of the way and there are closer options. On a recent visit, we chose it for lunch because the value is hard to beat: $32 compared to a competitor’s $49. While the lunch selection isn’t quite as extensive as dinner (I didn’t see filet or lamb), the picanha was perfectly seasoned and satisfying. The cheese bread and salad bar were as great as always. Our server, Desiree, was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Parking can be tough at night, but fortunately they do offer complimentary valet service.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews unless I feel like it’s needed. But, I went for lunch with my coworkers and it wasn’t a bad experience until I realized my waitress Aubrey chose to tip herself an extra $50. My total was $42 with tip on my receipt, and when I checked my account they took out $92. I tried their customer service for help and they weren’t even responding to me about the matter. Then, when I went up there I spoke to the manager and he basically tried to brush me off like it wasn’t a big deal. He just said that he would look into it and refund me. I asked would he call me with an update when he found out what happened, and he was like “yeah I’ll call you” like I was annoying him. Then, I just asked for a copy of the receipt because I unfortunately didn’t get it the first time like I should have. When he brought it to me seeing the big difference, he still didn’t seem to care much about it. I understand it could’ve been an accident, I don’t know how, but at least if they would’ve showed some sense of understanding, care or something like that it would’ve made me feel better. So I will not ever come back here, and be careful if you get Aubrey as your waitress.

Google
Another wonderful and pleasant dining experience here. We were warmly greeted when we walked in and treated very well. The wait staff was a bit slower tonight with their service but the manager made up for it and provided exceptional service. The servers who brought the food just kept coming. All of the food was fresh, proper temperatures and tasted absolutely delicious. Truly a wonderful dining experience. All of the food was great but the glazed pineapple and caramelized bananas were divine. I highly recommend coming here.

Google
One of the best places to go for birthdays and anniversaries. I can’t rave enough about the service and how fun it is to have people bring meat to your table. The meat is always cooked great. The desserts are delicious. Service is fantastic. I recommend making reservations to make sure you’re seated during busy times. I can’t wait to come back again!

I came here to celebrate my birthday with my family! We had a great experience although it's been a while since we visited I am glad we chose to come here for my birthday. We didn't have a reservation on Sunday lunch time and we were sat right away. The food was amazing I loved their salad bar it's so rich and everything tasted fresh. The meat options were plenty and well seasoned and the servers were so attentive and they kept coming and fast service! I highly recommend you choose this place for a special celebration it is worth it!

Google
This place is one of my favorites here in Addison! My favorites are the picanha, white rice, potato salad and you definitely have to try the couscous, it's to die for! I usually order to go, but this time we dined in for our anniversary and the service was amazing!

Yelp
We came early on Sunday evening, so we were able to get seated immediately. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive the entire visit. I'm pretty low maintenance so I rarely even factor in attentiveness but the staff here is next level and it definitely deserves mentioning. The restaurant is very clean, classy enough where you wouldn't be out of place in a suit but you could be relatively casual and still feel comfortable. I saw the full range of dress while I was there but I'd say a majority of people were dressy casual. Now for the food - I used to be the one to skip the salad bar and get straight to the meat sweats like a savage, but this time, I came dedicated to making the salad bar an intentional part of the meal like a civilized person. I'm sure glad I did! Lobster bisque - loved it. I probably could have made a meal out of it with 6 bowls, but again I'm trying to not act like a lunatic in here. There were a lot of fresh selections on the salad bar - all very good. Try the potato salad! Now to the meat - there were so many different selections that came around, I truly couldn't count. There was beef, lamb, chicken, sausage, bacon wrapped jalapeños - the typical selection you'd expect at a good Brazilian steakhouse. What I haven't seen before but saw here were beef ribs and three different styles of lamb. I didn't try the beef ribs but they looked amazing! Now, I'm not a lamb fan, I've really tried and I keep trying, but I just don't like lamb - except for here at Texas de Brazil. I tried all of the lamb - the chops were by far the best. The chops here are the best I've had anywhere in the world and I've had plenty of lamb in various Middle Eastern countries which, by my estimation, have been cooking lamb since before Abraham so they've probably got it dialed in. Texas de Brazil has their lamb chops dialed in even better than the cradle of civilization that has been cooking lamb for thousands of years. Take it for what it's worth - like I said, I don't typically like lamb. The other two lamb selections tasted like lamb and they didn't move my needle like the chops did. Chops - absolutely would get again. Picanha and leg of lamb, still not for me.

Yelp
(From August 2024) Heading back to Houston in mid-August, I had a giftcard I needed to use for this place and saw this location on the way back. I decided to be gluttonous and splurge on my appetite here with some meats and the salad bar for lunch. Being my first visit at this brazilian steak chain, I was expecting a meal similar to my experiences at Fogo De Chao. Although not as extravagent, the salad bar options here are solid with cold shrimp, salmon lox, potato salad, charcuterie, and chilled vegetable assortment being good sides for the meats. As for the meats, they were tender although not as flavorful as other brazilian steakhouses I've been to. The filet and lamb were the best. The fries and complimentary plantains are delicious too. The mashed potatoes are somewhat mid so I didn't care for those. Looks like I caught them on a good day since the service was attentive and they seated me at a spot away from the bar area for some privacy which I appreciate. Also got a glass of cab to wash down the food; the wine is priced affordably for a steak place. Given the prices, lunch is a better option as it's almost half the price as dinner for the same experience. I'd be open to coming here again; I'll be sure to stock up on giftcards for this chain!

Yelp
I want to thank everyone from hostesses, to servers to the gauchos for making our visit a great one. I coordinated a surprise birthday gathering & the staff accommodated my group very well. The food was delicious, full of flavor & perfect temperature. The table we were seated at was perfect for when our birthday guest arrived and the restaurant has a warm ambience that is appropriate for an intimate, romantic setting or a small, intimate group gathering like ours. Thank you for such a positive experience.

Yelp
We had a 4:00 reservation on Mother's Day and we weren't seated until 5:00 - over an hour after checking in (we checked in at 3:45). I understand it's a busy day, but what's the point of a reservation if you're going to be made to wait that long with zero acknowledgment or apology. We were told that they "overbooked" and that's why we had to wait so long. Once we were finally seated, it took another 15 minutes before our waiter even came by. We ended up helping ourselves to the salad bar because we were starving. He eventually took our drink order, and just a few minutes into our salads - while our meat card was stilled turned to red - we were suddenly being served meat with no clean plate or sides (bananas, mashed potatoes, fries...that we had to ask multiple times for). When we were finally ready for meat and had our card on green, we were ignored repeatedly. The servers skipped our table over and over, serving all the tables around us. It got so bad, the table next to us actually had to call the manager over because they also weren't being served any meat. Texas de Brazil, I get that it was a busy day, but do better, at least apologize for the long wait and inconvenience. You overbooked and clearly couldn't handle the crowd - and the service suffered big time. We felt completely overlooked.

Yelp
Meat service is lousy. We were asked what we liked we said picanha, lamb chops. We got chicken and sausage and salty spicy steak over and over. 30 min later we are still waiting after repeated requests. When it finally arrived the chops were tiny but tasty and although the server had a fill skewer of picanha he gave us little bitty shavings and bits.

Yelp
Another year of celebrating 2 birthday boys at this fun and yum restaurant. My son and best friend share a birthday and for the last 7 years we have taken them here to celebrate because it's their favorite restaurant. Salad bar is my favorite but the meats were very tasty. Drinks were great and desserts were on par per usual. This is a go to for family celebrations because everyone loves it.

Tessa S.

Yelp
They reached out in response to my email, although they haven't responded on Yelp. I'll give them an extra star for responding timely, and they offered a $20 credit. Of it's just to their Addison location I'll decline, but happy to accept if it can be used elsewhere. Overall I'd still say go to their Dallas location. I've been there multiple times and have never been disappointed.

Yelp
Tip: Always use the reservation system on OpenTable to avoid 1* hour waiting time. I'm here pretty often and each time has always been stellar. Although folks say the meat here is a bit salty, it's way better than Fogo. The meats are super tender and juicy. The savory salty taste paired with the smoky flavor is really addicting. I recommend the flank, bacon wrapped filet, and lamb. Don't be afraid to ask for more than one piece of meat on your favorite cuts. That and if you like your meats rare, the servers will show you different cuts. The salad bar itself is good enough on its own. I love the lobster bisque and the couscous salad.

Yelp
The great fall off take classy out cut prices don't know what happened to this place but it ain't what it used to be to be $60 dollar plates and service was subpar and ask for a lemonade and got look at pic below .

Yelp
Great food and service! Variety of meat selection, great friendly staff attending to make sure you enjoy your meal

Yelp
This place is probably one of my favorite Brazilian steak house! We went this Thanksgiving and enjoyed it once again. They have the best buffet with the best meat choices. The place is big but its always super busy and filled which I like because it shows that the place is good. Our server during this Thanksgiving we went was always on top of things (refilling water, taking away finished dishes, asking us if we need any special request of meat). The only downside is that the parking lot is super limited so if you go during busy hours, it's hard to find one and end up doing valet parking.
google avatar

Carolina E.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in, the hostess looked unhappy to be there. This should have been a red flag but we were only here for my friends birthday. It took us a solid 5 minutes to even get water... we got bread before we even got water. The meats took forever (literally forever) and the ones that came around were all repeat meats. For almost $60 a person I expected much better service. We had a few instances where the guys taking meats around would see our table marker was green and literally move on to another table. There were times we didn't have refills or even water refills. The only reason we came here was because EG steak didn't have reservations until 9pm. Save your money and don't go to any other Brazilian steakhouse except for EG Steak in front of stonebriar mall. Ps they also do nothing for birthdays soooo... hard pass! Anyone who gives this place 4 or more stars just hasn't actually ever had good food.

Sam A.

Yelp
I love this restaurant. Meat is soooooo meaty and juicy and perfectly cooked. The servers are super nice. And get the chocolate cake.

Thomas K.

Yelp
The food is great, everything from the salad bar to the skewers of lamb, beef and chicken. The service is always good, just turn your card to green and enjoy!

Yelp
I mentioned, in my last review, how badly things went. I also mention that was not typical for my more than 20 years of eating here. In fact, we have been back about 4 times since our bad experience and frankly, things are back to the way they were, great! In the off chance you are not familiar with Texas de Brazil, it's basically all you can eat meat, brought to your table where you pick out what you want or turn down what you don't. Three different choices of the lamb, too many choices of beef to mention, several chicken options, as well as sausage. The house special and bacon wrapped filet are our favorites! The service here is always excellent, water glass, never gets less than half full. They have great drinks of all kinds as well as great wines. It's a slightly darker atmosphere, feels very upscale, however, many people show up in shorts and flip-flops. Of many of the recently opened Brazilian style steakhouses, it's slightly less for around $50 a person and if you're a senior, there's a discount. I highly recommend going there, it is worth the bit of a drive from where we live in Grapevine... even in rush hour traffic!

Yelp
For the most part, I consider myself pescatarian. I seldom eat any meats other than fish but I still really enjoy Texas de Brazil. I only get the salad bar, so my review has a huge omission since this is clearly the place to eat meat- but for all of you who are tag-a-longs to people who do eat meat, I have great news for you. Texas de Brazil has an extensive array of foods on their self-serve bar that are phenomenal and are more than enough to comprise of a hearty and fulfilling meal. Among my favorite items from the self-serve are the buffalo mozzarella, couscous, rice and beans and of course- the exquisite Lobster Bisque. It's my favorite LB and I make sure to indulge in a big helping of it every time I go. Everything here is great, you cannot go wrong. Also, the desserts are top-notch as well. This most recent visit I had the Crème Brûlée and it was perfection! The decor is slick and is really elevated. However, most people were dressed in shorts and tees. So even though the atmosphere suggests more upscale, the vibe is casual. Overall, for someone like me who only eats from the salad bar, Texas de Brazil is still a great experience and value. Bring your appetite and you'll leave happy!

Yelp
First time taking my overly picky teenage son here. I've held off since he's so picky and the price isn't so great if all he's eating are fries, but was pleasantly surprised. Of course, all the food is great! Nothing like having sizzling meats added to your plate before you are looking for more. As for my kiddo, he loved it! He tried more items than I have ever seen him try. And there wasn't a single thing he didn't like. THAT, in itself, deserves five stars.
google avatar

Renee B.

Yelp
Food was good, pricey but the quality was up there. Steak was cooked perfectly. We didn't wait long. Atmosphere was nice and clean. Service was friendly!

Yelp
I've been to a good amount of different Texas de Brazils and this is by far my favorite! We didn't make a reservation and when we put our name down, we were told the wait was about 40 min but we were able to be seated in 20. Our server was also super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. And this is the first location I've been to that also served fries as one of the sides at the table. (also i feel like the pao de queijo was bigger but idk if that is actually the case) What I like most about this location is how all the meats come around so often. In my other experiences, the meat takes forever to come out so you're busy filling yourself with the sides. And then they only bring out the chicken and sausages. And then once you start slowing down, they bring out all the good stuff all at once. But from when we sat down, all of the meat was rotating around and we got to have as much picanha as we wanted before we got too full! My only complaint - I wish I didn't get full so fast because everything was delicious and I wanted more!
google avatar

Cilicia L.

Yelp
I have been to other Brazilian steakhouse, but this was my first time at this one. The restaurant is gorgeous, lots of rich reds, browns, and gold in the decor. The meat rotated through frequently and was delicious. I didn't get any pictures because I was too busy eating it. This steakhouse had a larger variety of meat than any other I have been to. The lamb came as chops, shank, and leg; all were moist and delicious. The salad bar had a huge variety of cold and several warm sides as well. The table was delivered sides of garlic mashed potatoes, sugared bananas (not plantains which was disappointing), and French fries (boring). I love fried polenta, and this was the only Brazilian steakhouse I have been to that didn't have it. The cheese bread was warm and delicious, and I love that it's gluten-free as well.

Yelp
food (3/5): i personally think the food was average. i actually enjoyed the salad bar more than the meat itself. some of the meats are good, but i personally don't think it's worth the price. my favorite meats were the lamb and mignon, but i can get it better somewhere for the same price. the other meats were okay. however, we never got suggested all the meats-it was mainly beef and steak. we got offered pork and sausage once, never chicken. so, i don't really know much. however, i did enjoy the salad bar options and the cinnamon plantains! service (4.3/5): we were a party of 7. we had 2 servers, but mainly 1. he provided mediocre service. however, there was a man who was training here in Dallas to gain experience for the opening of the first texas de Brazil in Hawaii. He was so sweet, relatable, and a great conversationist. I really enjoyed his service more than our designated server. The people who walk around with the meats were very nice as well. The man who was training for Hawaii, he'll do great in Hawaii. ambiance (-): it was cute, dim interior with lights, casual-somewhat "fancy," but overall just a cute looking place with low noise level. nothing crazy, but nothing wrong with it.

Yelp
We love this place, great food, good service and nice environment. You can make it quick or take your time.

Yelp
Great experience for my fiancés birthday! Our waiter was knowledgeable, checked in frequently, and was accommodating. The food at this location was better than another one I had been too! The salad bar was fresh and well stocked. The meat selection was fantastic! The spicy sirloin is my new favorite. The servers kept coming at a good pace and it wasn't overwhelming. As for desserts, our table got almost 1 of everything. The crème brûlée, Banana pie, and coconut cheesecake really stood out though. We also tried the digestif which was very sweet and tasted like alcoholic coffee syrup (in a good way).
google avatar

Jonathan R.

Yelp
Highly recommend coming here when they are empty. If they are busy they don't have enough staff to actually deal with the tables and will pack the place full. Expect to wait a while for anything. Expect food to come out the wrong temperature or even cold. Yes, meat I was told was just cooked to the temperature I asked for was cold to the touch. Management clearly just cares about money in their pockets here, not the customers and not the staff. Do yourself, your wallet, and your stomach a favor and go elsewhere.

Yelp
Had a birthday celebration for my wife today. We had a group of 15 people and 3 kids. Would have given this a 5 of 5 if it wasn't for a very rude manager. I was with my son with a both hands full and he saw his grandmother not 10 feet away at the salad bar. He ran past the lady manager and she' looked at me and said can you get your kid. I said no problem and by this time he was still by his grandmas side. On my way to him the manager very rudely said we can't have kids running around and I told her she needs to chill. It wasn't that serious that she needed to reiterate it like my kid was running wild. He literally ran straight from me to his grandma. She's lucky I didn't say worse. Will not be back. This is obviously not a place for families and tainted the birthday celebration for my wife at what was her favorite restaurant.

Yelp
Please Be Aware!!! I am going to show you an email sent to Texas de Brazil regarding a very poor experience and horrible customer service given by the Regional manager, who was present during my visit . The restrooms were filthy! Tissue and trash were all over the floor. It was wet on the floor and the sink! They did not clear plates often, leaving tables full of old plates which crowded the table and made it difficult to navigate amd enjoy your meal. Water was hard to come by and to top it off, the Regional manager refused to honor my $20 birthday voucher! Believe it or not, after receiving the complaint that you are about to read, they basically said that it was nothing that they would do! Please be warned, customer service is no longer one of their priorities. Do not spend your hard earned money here! There are plenty of other wonderful, customer centered Brazilian Steak houses to dine at. Email ex:"I recently received your offer of a $20 in-store voucher as compensation for my negative dining experience. Unfortunately, I cannot accept this resolution, as the time for such an offer has passed. When I initially raised my concerns during my visit, all I requested was a $20 adjustment, which would have been somewhat acceptable at the time. However, the lack of interest and dismissive attitude displayed by Regional Manager Yesenia, despite my family's long-standing loyalty to Texas de Brazil, left us feeling deeply disappointed. During our conversation, I expressed my intention to escalate my complaint if my concerns were not addressed. I even asked Yesenia directly if losing us as customers over a $20 voucher was worth it, to which she indicated it was. That response was profoundly disheartening. At this point, I am requesting a full refund or, if Texas de Brazil would like another opportunity to make things right, a complimentary meal for four. These are the only acceptable solutions at this stage. Failing that, I am prepared to escalate this matter further, including bringing it to the attention of Salim Asrawi. I truly regret that it has come to this point, but the challenges I have faced in having my concerns addressed leave me with no other option. I hope we can resolve this matter amicably.

Yelp
The Salad bar has many wonderful items and some exotic flavors and textures. Smoked Salmon, Ceviche, and backed pineapple are wonderful. The wonderful selection of meats are continuously served as you like them.

Yelp
The host Alondra is absolutely terrible at her job. We had a staring match for the first 45 seconds when me and my wife walked in because she didn't say hi or anything. A very unwelcoming sight to see when you walk in. Everyone else who worked there was great. Unfortunately I don't remember our servers name but he was absolutely amazing and even after they closed still insisted we got dessert and not to feel rushed. He was a bald with a strong accent. Drinks were below average for the price.

Yelp
Man where do I start, if you have not been here before it's a true experience! The food the food the food!!!!! All you an eat WHAAAT! The steaks are brought to your table the way you like it. Now it isn't any fancy prime meats but it is unlimited so this is definitely a quantity over quality place. Not that their quality is bad it's basic. I'd say their lamb chops are the best. Service is excellent with managers checking in on you while workers bring anything you want to your table. The decor is business casual in my opinion. However, some kids might be there when you go. Overall 10/10 unlimited steak! (This might be biased since I am a HUGE steak person)

Yelp
You may want to try this restaurant if you are looking for a Brazilian restaurant. It is a typical Brazilian style dish with well-seasoned meat. I found the service to be adequate, but nothing special, and the ambiance to be nice, but a little tight for a large party.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a poor experience at Texas de Brazil tonight. We made a reservation for a date night and arrived on time. When we checked in, the hostess kindly informed us that they were running behind 20-25 minutes on reservations. We stood in the lobby for 1 hour until inquiring as we did not want to bother the hostesses who were flustered. When we went up and asked, our table was finally ready. We were sat at a table, however it was practically in the bar, which was definitely not a romantic spot for a date night. We were offered no compensation for the inconvenience of waiting practically an hour to be seated. The food was tasty and the staff was kind, but for an expensive meal, I expect better customer service. We will not be returning to this Texas de Brazil location.

Yelp
This is my favorite restaurant! I wish they did a free birthday meal because I would definitely go for my birthday. For me, this is one of the best dining expereinces on earth. I love men brining me food (meat no less LOL) ... that is a thing in a dream I had once. I love the atmosphere. I love the layout of the restaurant. The food is top notch. The customer service is more than amazing. Honestly, they deserve and award for Customer Service alone. The amount of food you get is worth the price you pay. The LOBSTER BISQUE is the best in the whole world. I would go simply for that. I would love to have a never ending bowl at home. Unfortunately, I don't. The combo I like is crutons with, jalapeno oregano and crushed red pepper. That is a combination the is flavor ridden. If they had a garlic bread stick that would be a whole meal. I would do advertising for TDB for sure. I actually do love it. I hope it always stays the way it is right now. Everyone is friendly there, and it is genuine and you can tell this is a jovial environment. It's really a romantic setting. When I can I would love to go on a date there. I haven't been on a date since moving here except with myself so that is my date spot. Lol.

Yelp
This particular location has LOST its luster to the Churrasco experience. First, the staff were not friendly or welcoming, the furniture and service sets needs replaced. There were wobbly tables, table surfaces not cleaned or cleaned with dirty rags for example, and the dishes and glass wear had water spots, dull, just worn out. The food was great but we observed the meats were not fully be circulated around the dining area and the slices were very small. Another observation was the way the servers were carving the meats, they would splatter all the meat juices and blood all over us and the table. Clearly some were not in the mood to offer a high quality experience plus there were not polite in explaining the types of meats, spices used, where the cuts of meat come from the cattle, etc. the parking lot is small, worn out and the back area with the garbage was unsightly. Overall after coming here on several occasions this location is not worth it, better off maybe going to another newer location. Would not recommend this location.

Yelp
Even though we had a reservation, they sat us about 20 minutes late because they apparently overbook every night according to them. Our waitress was not able to answer basic questions about the drink menu (she barely knew that there was a drink menu), and seemed to ignore us for the most part. We had to chase her down for refills on the bread and almost had to walk out before she noticed we were ready to cash out. The meats were either over cooked or under cooked and very salty. There was also not much variety. The place was fancy and well decorated, but food and service quality was lacking.

Yelp
Went here for a friend's birthday and the experience was just like I remembered from several years ago. The food was amazing and the staff was attentive. The only thing I would call out is their floors... absolutely not meant for heels. A few of us caught ourselves sliding while walking into the dining area and had to walk with caution the whole night. The Filet Mignon wrapped in Bacon seemed to be a fan favorite; mine was the Garlic Pacanha. Everyone left overfull, so I'd call it a successful night.

Yelp
It was a nice experience. We've been to a Brazilian steakhouse before, just never got the time to try this one. It was very cozy and our waitress was very nice and friendly.

Yelp
The food here is delicious. The wait staff was very attentive and the ambience of the place is very chic. Celebrated my birthday here, the bartender, make sure we had plenty to drink, and the wait staff made sure we have plenty to eat. I totally recommend this place and will be back.

Yelp
We have been your Patrons since 2001. Today, Father's Day- June 16- 2024... an extremely rude waiter/server asked me to move the plate. My hands were all occupied plus there was plenty of room ... I told him to set his "Serving/Cutting board" next to the empty spot... He just walked away... YES, he just walked away and refused to serve me. I asked for a manager, and a person named Jessica came by, I conveyed to her everything... as I was not finished with my statements, she said "I am sorry, I have other customers to see..." I replied " Wait, I am not done yet..."...she simply walked away... it is quite indicative that her behavior has been passed down to the Serving Staff members... Lastly, I asked for a "manager above her"... a lady named "Jessie" or "Jesse" came... this time, she did listen and apologized for the disservice. I told her that "Balu" was our waiter for years... and He was great... Balu immediately recognized us... In any event, this type of service cannot be tolerated. I still gave a 15% gratuity due to general mgr Jessie's apologetic attitude...

Yelp
The restaurant was very crowded, there was a Xmas party of 70 people. First they sat us at a table next to the bathrooms. People were constantly coming and going and there was a smell so we asked to be moved and they put us all the way in the back of the restaurant away from the buffet. When we were ready to go to the buffet, so were the party people so we never got anything from the salad bar. The service was good and food was okay as well but very pricey. We were a party of four celebrating my sister's birthday. Spent over $310.00-NO alcohol. It may have been a better experience in a sit down steakhouse.

Yelp
VERY disappointed. Just so upset I'm literally in tears. Celebrating an important birthday. Drive an hour from Fort Worth to get here to placed in a back room. Our waiter while kind did not refill drinks. I had to get up and ask for them. And we got warm tea no ice. I had ants in my sugar holder. Which freaked out my kiddo. Then came the meat. Or lack of it. We were here for restaurant week and could not get meat in this room. We literally lost our appetite as our salads and soup sat in our stomachs. We've been here 1.5 hours and have gotten 2 meats until I got up and asked. Then we got same two we were already offered. No lamb. No ribs. Also we weren't aware that restaurant week did not offer filet or lamb as basically it's same menu I'd have gotten at lunch except 15$ more. For 40$ per person this was a very very bad experience. 55$ with tax and drink of warm tea, just no. No. NO! It was a terrible restaurant experience and ruined a birthday celebration completely. I'm still here and I can't wait to leave. Edited to say bathroom was dirty. One sink at 6pm on a weekday. Tried to speak to a manager but unable as they have one and she's too busy. This is ridiculous. Edited to say we were charged 68$ for two adults and a child after speaking to the manager. Honestly after driving nearly 2 hrs round trip, the disappointment of a ruined birthday and the aggravation of being there so long (over 90 min) and honestly just ugh, it was 68$ too much. (Yes I was here for 40$ per person restaurant week so about half off).

Yelp
Absolutely terrible. The staff was great, but the food was so subpar! Who wants well done steak?! Also, I didn't realize that coming at lunch means I have about 5 meat options!

Yelp
Checked in for our reservation and told they are running 45 minutes behind on their reservations and they're refused to do anything to comp guessed who are waiting. Very disappointing. Update: Finally got a call an 1.5 hours after our reservations. We had already left and having dinner ay another restaurant. Laughable.

Yelp
I decided to write a review after my second visit. I just wanted to confirm certain things before I did. First of all, I'm a vegetarian and I know it's weird I went to a Brazilian steak eatery, but I really love the cheese bread they have. I first discovered them while I was on my trip to Sao Paolo many years ago. I'm not a bread person, but the cheese bread(little round bread with cheese inside)is soooo delicious! Anyhow, I found out they have a vegetarian option(salad bar, soup and other hot vegetable dish options). I guess I'm not so crazy after all as there must be other people who opt for vegetarian option at a steak eatery as well. They have a fabulous salad bar with all sorts of items(Brazilian and non Brazilian). They have Lox and shrimp as well. They have mint and Chimichurri sauce for steak condiments. I only ate plate and half and I didn't even have any room for the side dishes(French fries, mashed potatoes and fried plantains)and of course, no dessert(I believe it's priced separate, I'm not certain). My husband loved the skirt steak and sirloin. When I was there the first time, it was on Friday and it was packed and our server provided with a decent service, but on our recent visit, the server was great. It's very fancy inside with a full bar. The only issue/s I had on both occasions was that my stomach got very upset after eating there. I'm sure it's nothing they did on their end. I really don't know. Maybe, their food is too rich for my system though I never had issues like that before with any type of food. I also have to mention that it's a buffet and it's not cheap. For both of us, it's $100 plus tip is $120-$130. I don't mind paying for good, quality buffet like this one, but what happened to me on both occasions right after eating, I probably won't return. If I do, I will probably only eat the cheese bread. My husband had no issues and he really enjoyed his steak. For that cheese bread, ambiance and decent service, I give this place 4 stars.

Yelp
Reservation for 7:15 sat for over 40 minutes before being seated. We were not informed that they were this shorthanded and shortstaffed that we had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seated for our reservation.

Yelp
Texas de Brazil (esp. the Addison location) is still my favorite after 24 years of dining (and lunching) there. The waitstaff are attentive and friendly, the food is outstanding, and the atmosphere is perfect for dining -- not too loud, not too warm, not too dark.... just right! I highly recommend it for meals with a small group of friends, or even a large party. The "gauchos" bring cuts of meat -- beef, pork, chicken, and (on some days) lamb -- to the table almost constantly, from the time you unfold your napkin until you are ready for your check. The meats are accompanied by fried bananas, garlic mashed potatoes, cheese-infused bread, and endless trips to the salad bar. If you visit the Addison location, don't hesitate to ask to be seated in Nelu's section. Nelu has been there almost as long as the restaurant has, and he is very good at his job -- makes you feel right at home. You'll not do better, in my opinion. That said, the entire staff, waiters and gauchos alike, really do take good care of their guests. Bom apetite!

Yelp
This particular location is a hit or miss, hoping our next visit goes smoother. Texas de Brazil is a family fave, from Florida to Texas we dine at multiple locations, however, for some reason the Addison location seems to be inconsistent with managing at different times in the day, and this is apparent with the varied reviews you see. The hostess at the front was not engaged nor listening, and this review is going from a solid 3/4 to a 2 because we had reservations under open table and the hostess decided to report it as a no show (Open Table will suspend your account if you do not follow their protocols). I had to state twice that it's under an Open Table reso, and they still decided to seat walk-ins promptly and with attentiveness... talk about awkward. Decided to have an intimate dinner with a few friends for my birthday, for some reason we were seated in a dark corner and extremely close to another table, this location is pretty spacious with PLENTY open seating at this particular location, again not common at Texas de Brazil but Addison is now a foodie hub so I can't say I was surprised. Food all in all consistent and tasty, some meats not served warm, however, the lamb was exceptionally delicious and larger-sized on this day. The salad bar seemed to be neglected this particular day and now I'm wondering if they were short staffed or something. Hoping our next visit goes smoother, as a brand Texas de Brazil is a family go-to with a lively atmosphere.

Yelp
If you're going to plan a party, spare yourself the awful experience of bringing your guests here. They crammed 3 long tables for a private party so close together that we could barely walk in between our tables to get out. The experience was more of a salad bar than a steakhouse. They didn't have enough meat for everyone and there were guests who didn't even have a chance to eat meat. It was really bad. Drink orders placed an hour before never showed up even after several reminders. Then finally the wrong drink came.

Yelp
Food was very average. I'm unable to name any dish which I really admired. Service was good and promptly. The ambiance was decent. Sorry, I will not bring my business there

Yelp
Best churrascaria around! We've been to all the ones in and around Plano and north Dallas but Texas de Brazil is consistently the best with the best service! You will not be waiting for meat nice you flip your card to green. the gauchos come around with the frequency that you're there for! Highly recommend.
