Delicious donuts!!! Staffs were attentive and friendly since it was my first time coming there. They have big donuts (that’s why it’s Texas donuts duh?! Lol), and specialties favorite like maple bacon, red velvet etc. i got myself a dozen of mix regular and specialty. Delicious! Highly recommended! I will def coming back and I would suggest y’all check them out too

Amazing breakfast sandwich!! I can’t wait to go back. The croissant was like a delicious cloud of yumminess. We also got donuts and they were just as good! The place is spotless and the staff is very friendly.

Had to wait in line for a few quick minutes but it was worth it. The donuts are light but delicious. The fill the jelly and Bavarian cream donuts WHEN YOU ORDER THEM!!! It's great!! The to top it off they have a few Texas donuts that are HUGE! Loved it. These donuts reminded us of the large donuts that Shoppers used to sell and they were the best! Highly recommend.

Their donuts are so good, as mentioned in other reviews the croughnut is one of the best. All of them are pretty delicious, you can’t go wrong!! The service could be better, especially if you don’t come often. I asked for a dozen donuts to be split into two boxes and the employee at the counter said “I’ll have to charge you for 2 half a dozen”. I told her I didn’t mind. I think it wasn’t what she said it’s how she said it. I get it they’re a small business and I’m all for supporting local small businesses I didn’t mind, but I think a better approach in their mannerisms would have been nice. Also, I’ve been on a weekend and it can be a bit chaotic and messy since they have tape on the floor as a guide for traffic, but it is a bit confusing, so you may be out of line and then have to either hope the person behind you is courteous to let you go ahead of them or go to the back of the line. Again, donuts are great though!

Love this place! The donuts are fantastic, and the customer service is warm and inviting. As a middle-aged Southerner and lifelong Krispy Kreme devotee, I must confess that Texas Donuts (or at least THIS Texas Donuts) has earned its way to becoming my new favorite.

A visitor from another office was kind enough to bring in doughnuts on Valentine's Day. As always, I called first dibs. (Gotta beat the "don't-always-wash-them hands" bunch, ya know?) Intro: if you're craving some serious donut action, Texas Donuts a great spot to hit up. Vegan Friendly?: Sadly it is not but for my vegetarian friends you are good to go. Decor: Chill vibes all around, with a retro twist. Wouldn't stay there for to long but for grab and go its fine! Food Breakdown: Donuts galore, from classic glazed to funky flavors. And they do have milk and drink options that go with your donut! Food Highlights: So their donuts have a unique taste that makes it stand out but OMG there key point is there Texas size donut and OMG IS IT BIG. You could feed 4 people with it easy. Portion Size: For the standard size the size for the price is fine but for their Texas donut lorddd bring your appetite! Price: Totally reasonable for the size and quality Would I go Back: Absolutely! But the only problem is there operating hours which makes it very hard to go to but otherwise I will be back.

Our kids look forward to going to Texas Donuts in the morning on the weekends and picking which donuts they want for breakfast. Maybe the doggy one or Cookie Monster or the munchkins or the donuts where you can custom fill with Bavarian cream or jelly now. I personally love their apple fritter and munchkins. My husband loves their kolaches. It's nice to have a savory option amongst all those sweets. Service is always friendly and efficient. It's a small local business that's serving good donuts and worth a visit if you leave in or near Centreville, VA.

Just can't go wrong here if you love donuts especially yeast style. They have donut twists and also cake donuts too and crullers and cronuts. They also have Kolaches. Still tasted decent the next day. They have a fridge for some juices and chocolate milk too. They are pretty quick and patient. Can get quite busy on weekends but line moves. Pretty simple interior with no seating for weekends, otherwise there is counter style seating. Our favorite donut place close to Fairfax, although further than we can go often.

Yee haw, I'm so thankful that this place still exists in the location its in! There is still no other place I know that makes fluffy light donuts. I mean there's krispy kreme in Manassas, but that's almost a 25 min drive if you're in Fairfax or you gotta go all the way to Alexandria's location which imo it's not worth it. But I love supporting the local businesses and I will never not ever snag myself some treats from here. I know there's Korean cafe's with their pastries popping up everywhere, but this is a sweet ole donut shop with a sweet owner that I couldn't appreciate more!

Absolutely a welcome to the change in donut offerings in Centreville. The staff are always kind and quick. The various selections including their filled donuts are delicious. This is your sat/sun morning donut replacement for the over monopolized donuts from Dunkin's and the like in the area. Try the coffee lol it's actually pretty good.

Stopped in one Monday morning while driving through the state and was super glad to know that they had breakfast sandwiches and coffee on top of the donuts. Everything was super fresh! Wish we lived closer.

There aren't many yeast donut places in Fairfax VA and so this one is a rare gem. There is a good variety to choose from and the donuts are fresh and delicious. We had it delivered via a delivery service first thing in the AM.

I've been meaning to check out this place for a while and am so glad I finally did! I came on a weekend (can never go early enough on weekdays!) so there was a long line, but it moved pretty quickly and the wait was worth it. I ordered a half dozen box of donuts with the following: croughnut, apple fritter, glazed, buttermilk, red velvet, and Bavarian cream filled donut. My favorite was the buttermilk donut and then the croughnut. So good! The red velvet was a bit too dense for my preference and the Bavarian cream was a little too sweet for me. They had a good variety of donuts to choose from and the service was friendly. I'm looking forward to going back to try their other flavors!

By FAR - THE BEST donuts we have ever had..... and this quality - taste - service and selection is consistent.... ! Something in these is subtle and unique to their product -- Whatever you think about when wanting a good donut - think no farther than these.... I can not describe it sufficiently enough to make you understand... so,.... just go and give them a try.... You too will like these more than any others you find out there..... Big Thumbs Up.... !!!

These are delicious donuts and their kolaches are yummy according to my Texas born husband.

As a New England native, I've been on the hunt for a quality donut spot in the DC metro area. The first time I tried Texas Donuts was actually as a birthday surprise from my wife during the pandemic, and I've been hooked ever since! Despite the fact that it's a bit of a drive from our house, it's become a go-to treat for us. What's even more impressive is how smoothly the business operates. The staff is always energetic, friendly, and competent, and there's always a good number of them to keep things moving. While the store can get crowded during peak breakfast times on weekends, it's worth the wait. I've found that earlier donut runs are the way to go, but even during busy periods, the staff works tirelessly to chug through the long line surprisingly fast. Overall, I highly recommend Texas Donuts for their quality donuts, excellent service, and efficient operation. It's no wonder they have such a loyal following!

I don't understand the hype. I went early on a weekday and it was pretty busy. Ordered a croughnut, old fashioned, cinnamon sugar cake, cinnamon sugar yeast, and a boston creme. They all tasted the same, if not worse, quality as what can be found at your local grocery/convenience store. The cronut was interesting but a bit greasy and bitter, almost slightly burnt. I'm adding a star because they fill the donuts there when you order, which I've never seen before!

This is our go-to donut shop. The donuts are amazingly fresh. The secret to getting the freshest and largest variety is to come between 6-8am. Our latest visit was at 1:30p in the afternoon on a Sunday. They only had one case of donuts left. We still walked away with 6 very fresh donuts. Staff is super nice and patient... waiting for people to decide on what they want.

TL;DR: My absolute FAVORITE donut place. They close early (3PM) and sell out of certain things fast! I love Texas Donuts, and this location is by far my favorite. The staff is always fast, attentive, and friendly! This place has a variation of cake, yeast, and specialty donuts. They also have Kolaches (I haven't tried them yet, but want to one day!). There is always something for somebody, and you may have to find the one you want. But overall, their donuts are delicious. Cake donuts: denser than a yeast donut, but not too heavy, which I love. Yeast donuts: so light and airy, and just sweet enough. Fill donuts: filled to order with your choice of Bavarian cream, jelly, and chocolate. They have some other donuts that have lots of toppings/frostings for people who want a sweeter option. My top faves: ~Donut holes ~Red Velvet Cake donut ~Cronut ~Apple Fritter ~Glazed filled donut with Bavarian cream They open at 5AM and they sell out of certain things pretty fast! Love this place.

Counter staff were friendly and attentive. I did find the place to be loud and ordering was a little difficult. They need some pictures in the wall or something to help absorb sound. These donuts were very yummy. Donuts were lite and airy. I'll come back again.

It's good. The donuts are very light so you might eat them in one bite. Some of them are huge, so maybe two bites!

These donuts are consistently amazing! Love every single one and I'm quite picky with donuts. Any excuse for a party and I'm always bringing these donuts. It's a 35 min drive for me and it's always worth it.

I was just a wee bit sad to note that the donuts at Texas Donuts are simply awesome! Can't believe it took me so long to find this place. The apple fritters in particular are amazingly good, with the crispy outside that I love and flavor on top of flavor all around. I haven't had apple fritters this delicious since moving to Virginia from Texas. So why was I a wee bit sad? MY DIET!!!

if you're thinking about it, COME HERE!! some of the best donuts I've had in my life. They have a phenomenal selection and the workers are very nice. I literally can't emphasize enough how good these donuts are.

This is an update to my glowing review three years ago. Alas, it has become clear, that the management refuses to address problems, such as I was shorted an online order. While to err is human, that management, once alerted to the problem, ignored this input - made several times. With this unhappy incident, other observations began to fall in line, such as lack of napkins, slopping handling at checkout. And most damning of all - when management "gets away with" overt items, what other items, normally hidden from view, are also let go with that mindset. 'Tis ashame, will be a long time before I go back, and anyone who does go, be careful.

First time trying this place! It's a good thing I don't live closer. There were a few different items I wanted, but only bought one thing to try. I bought the cinnamon cronut. The photo doesn't show the size, but it's huge! I think it was a little more than $2. I'll be back for other things next time I'm in the area.

I love how this place has donuts ready for you at 6AM!!! I find a lot of the Korean bakeries dont have much available that early in the morning. Love the stuffed donuts and their blueberry donut!

Donuts are delicious, freshly made daily, light and fluffy. Service is really friendly. They open very early and close early so make sure to check hours.

Donuts are incredible, however the cronuts have gotten very oily over the years. Pricing has become bizarre. You used to get a half or dozen of specialty donuts with no fee confusion, but now they up charge for specific specialty donuts on top of that. I paid 20$ for a half dozen plus a texas donut my last visit and paid the same for a dozen plus a texas donut two years ago. Not a fan of the price gouging.

These donuts are the similar to Kristen Kreme but are so much better. It's hard to describe. They are soft, melt in your mouth and offer to fill them with a variety of FRESH fillings right in front of your face. EVERYTHING IS FRESH! I grew up on Kristen Kreme but I've converted to Texas Donuts. They are the GOAT

Yum!! Great prices and variety, worth the drive. Cinnamon sugar cronut: BIG, soft layered dough. Delicious. Blueberry cake donut: I love cake donuts and this might be my new favorite. So moist and good. Their plain/glazed donuts are also very good. They have something for every kind of donut person. Can't wait to go back!

Massive donuts and a great price. This is my first time at Texas Donuts. After reading a handful of Yelp reviews I decided to drive further out and test it out for myself. I ordered the Cronut donut and a coffee; although the coffee was fine, the donut was massive and tasted pretty good (no filling). For the price, I thought this place was excellent and even the service was pretty good, too. Now, it's possible that this place sticks out because other donut places don't seem to be that good; however, it was worth the drive as there were local parks in which you could go to enjoy your tasty treats.

There is a reason why this place ALWAYS has a line and ALWAYS sells out of donuts. The reality is that they have donuts that no other place can compare to. When I am having a bad day, the next morning I'll wake up early to treat myself to a nice dozen. The staff is super COVID conscious and friendly. I honestly think these donuts are worth the wait and since you're there you might as well get me a dozen too :) Cannot recommend this enough!

Their cronuts and apple fritters are great! The other donuts are just average. I actually don't like any of their fillings as it tastes overly sweet and artifical (more than other places). They do have some cute face decorated ones for the little kids. Besides that, I stick to the cronuts and apple fritters!

Do yourself a favor and indulge in one of these donuts...they are THE BEST!!! Soft, pillowy and FRESH!! Dunkin' Donuts will never live up to these delightful treats. Thanks for the smiles Texas Donuts, my entire family LOVES them!

These donuts -- and cronuts! -- are wonderful!! Texas Donuts are full of flavor, and I was happily surprised by the range of options, especially for a small-looking shop. The donuts seemed mostly to be various flavors of not-too-heavy-or-dense cake donuts, but there were also petal-shaped old-fashioned donuts, filled donuts -- which the staff quickly fills to order from four filling options! -- fluffy glazed donuts, and cronuts (which I'd never had before but are huge and flakey). And I'm most likely forgetting types, I'm sure! Out of six I tried after my first visit, five were amazing and one (a frosted red velvet cupcake) was underwhelming; my wife's opinion was that the sixth was still an excellent donut that was only underwhelming in comparison to the others as it was a bit less flavorful than they were -- we'll see next time. The shop is small-ish, clean, and bright. And again, there are plenty of donuts to choose from. The friendly, very efficient staff moves customers through, while still making each of us feel welcome. It does feel a little tight inside during the pandemic, but not bad; customers space themselves out outside and allow other customers to exit first, then upon entering do their best to maintain space while two at a time request their donuts from the case. I'll definitely be back!

WOW! What a nice little hidden donut gem. I decided to try this place out and I was amazed with the cost, and variety they had to offer. The donuts are incredibly reasonably priced, and I got a dozen for less than $10. They also offer cronuts, a croissant and donut combined which are my favorite! I only got to try their cronut and sour cream but I hope to be back and try their other glazed selections!

I have come here to write about this nice little place in Centreville, VA! First of all let me say this to begin with...Uh-Maze-Zing! I stumbled on this spot on a Friday during the whole Covid situation. I was looking for some breakfast to take into work so I thought I'd grab a doughnut or 3...(don't judge me). I saw that they had breakfast sandwiches and it was a payday so I went ahead and splurged on it and the doughnuts. When I bit into that sandwich...I almost died. No. Literally I legit almost crashed my car because I was on the highway and it was so good, it had me looking at my sandwich like what type of sorcery is this!?? Their croissants have a sweet syrup (possibly honey) on the top of it and the egg is actually legit and not some egg beaters. The bacon was crisp to perfection and it blended well as a whole. After demolishing the sandwich, I ate my doughnuts with my coffee at work and I'm normally a KKreme guy, but these doughnuts could give them a run! I'm #thankful for taking a chance on this place because I'm not stuck eating Fil-a-Chick minis 5 days a week!

Delicious donuts! We had the cinnamon twists, regular glazed and a small chocolate bar that they filled with Bavarian crème right there. Really good donuts. You won't be disappointed.

I was surprised at how light and fluffy these donuts were! Even the Apple fritter was light! This made me feel like I could eat even more! This is a great place to get a yeast donut in NOVA, as it seems like many places (Duck Donuts) focus on making cake donuts. This is worth a try if you're in the area.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I don't rlly love donuts usually cuz they r usually way too sweet and artificial tasting, but this place is SUGOI!! The donuts are super airy and soft, i.e pillowy and melt in yo mouth This is a family run business by the sweetest people, so please come support!!

Texas Donuts is dangerously close to home. My husband stops by here at least once a month (if not bi-weekly) for their donuts, cronuts and breakfast sandwiches. I've also brought a dozen to work (pre-COVID) and they barely lasted an hour before the whole box was gone! My favorite donut is the cronut (crossaint donut) which is fluffy, flaky, and chewy -- all at the same time. They have the regular flavors for their donuts (nothing out of the ordinary) and they're definitely colossal and filling. They have several drinks available for purchase in the fridge and only sell hot coffee (no iced coffee!). Everything is reasonably priced and the service is friendly. I would recommend going early as they typically sell out their donut inventory quickly on a daily basis!

When currently all of my friendships are basically handled curbside, I felt so special to be gifted a box of Texas Doughnuts one Saturday afternoon! As soon as I opened the box I was greeted by the sweet, wafting area of pure saccharin. There was one of each specialty doughnut to try but my absolute favorite was the cinnamon swirl. It was the perfect mix of cinnamon roll + doughnut and I loved how the glaze cracked in my mouth everytime I bit into it. The doughnuts here are very sweet and remind me of the OG doughnut wholesale spot, Shopper's Food Warehouse from the 90's. They dough is super soft, fresh, and pliable and everything is covered by a nice heavy glaze. The doughnuts here are a winning combination with coffee and I would totally come here by myself to gorge on their other flavors!

This place might be the single greatest donut shop there is. They stand out by perfectly executing both their standard and simple donuts as well as their specialty donuts. I've been to this location a handful of times and the staff is always attentive and a pleasure to talk to. The donuts are so airy and fluffy. As a traditional donut it's got a great taste and perfect chew. I enjoy the filled donuts the most but the jumbo Texas sized ones are amazing as well. They make the donuts fresh every day and you can taste that freshness. Above all, the pricing is outrageous. I feel like I'm robbing the place every time I go in there. For the quality and enjoyment I get out of the donuts I'd pay double!
