I ordered the hatch green chili cheeseburger with fries and the burger was juicy and delicious! Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is drive-through does take a while. I waited like 10 to 15 minutes to get order.

The food truly is awesome. I get their chili cheese fries and their Cowboy burger. It's all according to who the cook is at times. We love eating here. One order was not correct so they took care of it no worries. We love consistency and great food. Only thing for us they keep you wanting more lol.

Don't pass on Texas Flaming Grill just because the restaurant looks a little dingy, the food is absolutely amazing! We also love the staff, they're always friendly and professional. If you're looking for a specific recommendation, get the Philly Cheese Steak with fries. I will say, though, we usually pass on drinks, because they always taste off, like the soda machine/nozzles need to be cleaned or something. Also, a note: the service is a little on the slower side, but the food is always hot and fresh and 100% worth the wait. Just know that you'll be waiting 10-20 minutes for the food, even with the drive-thru. I promise the food is absolutely worth it; so much so that I got it as my first meal going home after giving birth.

Stopped here during a road trip after reading other favorable reviews and we were not disappointed. We ordered gyros and burgers and they were excellent. The gyros were stuffed to overflowing with a generous portion of meat and the tzatziki sauce was good. Great fries. Friendly and fast service. I only wish that it was located in my town.

I loooovvee this place. Food is great every single time; I love the Rueben, boyfriend usually gets the Philly. Fries are amazing, tater tots are crispy! Kumar and family are wonderful, they are welcoming and make sure everything is good! Known them for many years and I wish them nothing but growth!!

Picked up burgers. The kind (very nice) employee asked me how I wanted my burger cooked. I said Medium and with Tater Tots I paid extra for. Well done and no tater tots and I was long gone from the restaurant. Person bringing order out should've confirmed it was correct. Not a great experience.

Went to Texas Flaming Grill on Ambler for lunch. My grandson got a bacon cheeseburger and liked it soo much he said this place needs help so people can find them. He emptied his pockets into the tip jar before he told us. My friend got regular cheeseburger and said it was delicious. I got the cheese steak combo and it was amazing. The staff all were very sweet and I'd give them ten points if it'd let me. The order taker asked how they wanted their burgers cooked, and they got what they asked for, very impressed because it was the first time eating a burger they'd ever been asked. Substituted tater tots for myself and my friend and the grease was clean no taste of grease at all a rarity. My grandson got fries and even though he rarely eats fries he ate them all, a testament on how good they were. The buns were fresh and lightly toasted. We will be back of course.

The meat tasted as if it was boiled and it lacked any flavor. It was so bland that I added some salt to it and that didn't even help. I did however enjoy the fries! More places need those type of fries 🍟

One of the best burgers I've had in a long while! It's a very unassuming place, but the food is so good. I highly recommend the hatch chile burger. The burger was hot and perfectly cooked, and the fries were thick and crispy. The staff is super friendly and the prices are reasonable. I'm just passing through but I will definitely pass on through Abilene again for this burger.

I ordered 11 burgers and large fries for work. I called ahead and gave them my order. It was short notice for my order. They had my order ready in about 30 minutes. When I walked in the staff greeted me. It was a relaxed pleasant atmosphere. They packaged the burgers in one box so they wouldn't get crushed and the fries in a bigger box. They had my ketchup napkins salt and pepper in a separate bag ready to go. The employees even helped carry the food to my truck. The burgers and fries were delicious. The food was excellent. If you haven't tried them you're missing out. I will definitely order from them again either at work or when I just want a great tasting burger.

Idiot moment of the day. I drive up, see the car in front of me driving around the back and follow them. It wasn't until I got to second in line that I realized I drove by the drive thru window without ordering. So I then made the U-Turn of shame to get back in line again. Getting back to the important stuff. The staff were super nice and the food, for being "fast food" was very good. From the club sandwich to onion rings to Philly cheesesteak, all of it was good and a LOT less expensive than food in California.

The food was good no doubt!!! But it was dirty, the bathroom was nasty and you could smell it out in the dining area! Your shoes stuck to the floor! Hot soapy water with a splash of bleach or pine sol goes a long ways! Not to mention one of the workers with long black hair kept picking her nose at the front cabinet and at the window like goodness.... But the food was good... I would give it a 5 but the nastiness and the loudness of the workers hurt it

This is exactly what I expect whenever I try a "hole in the wall" burger. Simple ingredients cooked and assembled perfectly and perfectly balanced. Staff was kind and made us feel welcome and that they were excited for us to be there. I had the triple bacon cheeseburger with 3 kids of cheese and my wife had the regular cheeseburger. Delicious! Burgers were juicy, cooked exactly the way requested (one medium and one medium m-well) and just the right amount of messy without being a soggy mess. The building is a little small and has some bumps and bruises in the best possible way. It's the kind of place you walk into and think "this is either going to be really good or really bad" and it would not surprise me if they have a line around the building most days. If we're ever back in Abilene, this is a must. LOVED IT!

Best homemade tasting bacon cheeseburger I've eaten in a long time. Veggies were fresh and crisp. Burger patty was juicy and well seasoned. Wife's club sandwich was very good as well. Simple building but DAYUM that was a good burger! Best beef patty I've ever had honestly. Whoever they have making their buns rocks too! The menu is quite varied, lots of choices. I saw people eating chicken fettuccine and it looked amazing. You could have fooled me that the beef was cooked open flame, but I looked and it's a flat top.... An obviously well seasoned flat top I might add. I must add- really really nice people here! I pray for their continued success!

Super nice people and great burgers! It takes longer than McDonalds (everything is cooked to order) but it's well worth the wait! I got the limited time hatch green chile big burger which was great (perfectly spicy)... I'll admit I was already hungry but it was one of the best burgers I've ever had! I was kinda surprised when they asked how I wanted it cooked (Wendy's doesn't give you options) so I asked for medium and it was perfectly pink all the way through! Add a large root beer with Sonic style ice, decent fries, lots of napkins and cancel your afternoon plans... you're gonna need a nap!

This is a very unassuming place, but do not let that stop you from going in. We were stopping in Abilene for the night and saw the excellent reviews. The food was fabulous! I had the gyro with fries and both the gyro and the seasoned fries were delicious. My husband had the patty melt and he was equally impressed. The very friendly ladies who take your order and deliver your meal are super nice and entertaining. We would definitely visit again when in the area.

It was a random day outing with the family and we got hungry. Searched for a place near by us and found this place. Went through the drive thru, got the club sandwich, chili cheese dog and cheese burger with fries. Had to wait like 15 mins for our food but when we finally got it, we were very satisfied with how it looked. We were even more satisfied with the taste of everything. The portions size was good for the price. There was no complaints from anyone and we will be going back to try more food. The ambience was casual cafe type vibe. It was cute.

YUM!! Y'all this place is my favorite in Abilene! There are tons of ok places in this town but why not eat somewhere you'll get great food!? My favorite is the green chili cheese burger with their perfect onion rings! The owners are terrific, friendly and all about taking care of their patrons. The building is kept clean and ready. No true decor which is fine with me. Clean, friendly, delicious my favorite attributes for a Restauraunt .

When my family first saw this restaurant we had moderate hopes. Upon ordering with the help of a friendly cashier/server manning the register I was able to feed myself and my family (3 kids and my spouse) for less than a well know fast food restaurant(i.e. Chick-fil-A). Admittedly dine in seating is sparce but very what you'd expect from a mom and pop shop. The food was out so quickly I could swear they knew what we were going to order before we did. The food was stunning to the point that I neglectfully didn't take a picture and just had to sink in, and was it amazing. To sum it up it was the best burger I've had in this town in the hottest and toastiest minute. The fries were the perfect color, and had the perfect amount of crunch. While eating the cashier/server checked in to ensure everything was fine at just the perfect interval. Considering everything this is truly a hidden gem in this city ; my only negative comment is the fries could have used a bit more salt for my taste, but that's nothing I couldn't fix at the table.

Wonderful experience today at Texas Flaming Grill! Great food and service! I ordered a hamburger and fries - both were fresh, hot, and delicious! My husband ordered the Philly Cheesesteak (with bacon and jalapeños) and onion rings. His sandwich was so good - I had to try a bite (or five!) The bread was perfect (warm and toasted), steak was cooked just right, and the addition of bacon and jalapeños gave it just the right amount of kick. Will definitely be coming here again!

That does mean there is a bit of a wait to get your food but it's worth it. It's all well seasoned and has good flavor. On a road trip on our way to Dallas, definitely worth the stop! Was a little surprised when we pulled up on memorial day not sure what we expected, went inside hatches green chili burgers were excellent, my 2 travel companions said even without the chili the burger would've been perfect... Burger was perfectly seasoned the perfect size and perfectly cooked! Can't go wrong, I had the gyro combination plate did away with the sides and just got a large salad with gyro meat and pita it was wonderful again perfectly seasoned perfect amount salad very fresh and fulfilling so whether you're local or just traveling through as the three of us were I don't think you can go wrong

I love this place. Large selection. Burgers are great here but the secret to their menu are their wings. Ask for their Buffalo-Ranch wings. Best in town. Easily. The service is good. But be prepared to wait a whole because the food is made to order. And the ambiance is cool. It's a blend of college kids to skilled trade workers and folks in the medical field. And they deliver.

Texas Flaming Grill had great food! I had the Bacon Cheeseburger, my wife had the Philly cheese steak sandwich, the kids had chicken fettuccine Alfredo, kids cheeseburger, and a kid hotdog. All of the food was good! Their service was great too! What made it even nicer is that we were able to order on their website and and schedule a time when you wanted it to be ready. That worked great for us since we were driving home from our vacation in Arkansas to Midland TX and we wanted to eat something a step up from the normal fast food chains. The only reason I knocked off a star is because it seemed like prices were slightly high. I'd still recommend eating here and I'd probably eat there again myself when we pass through the area again.

Damn good burger! Wasn't expecting much but it was very tasty, the bun was toasted and crispy. I just had a hamburger which comes with mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato & onion (passed on the onion.) It was quite a good sized burger as well. Didn't try the fries as I was already full, but those I must admit didn't look like much and I really didn't want them but no way to only order a burger, which is the only reason to knock off a star cuz it was a waste of food for me.

Always forget about this place but when I remember to eat here, I am never disappointed. The food is always good and the burgers are 1/2 lb. They do have a 1/4 burger on the kids menu. Burgers are cooked to order and fill you up. The also have other items besides hamburgers, Philly cheese steaks, wraps, hot dogs and more. Give them a try. You won't be sorry. Oh yea, they have a triple meat burger if you're feeling really hungry.

YUM!! My granddaughter said the cheeseburger was the best she had ever had. I loved my Greek platter- gyro meat was soooooo good. I got a salad for a side and my daughter loved the crisp lettuce, feta, and cucumbers as much as I did. The three men said their burgers and fries were delicious. If you order the Greek platter and salad, you better guard your food!!!
