the brisket was so much more tender than some BBQ spots it's unbelievable how much flavor this sandwich packed the cole slaw is tangy and creamy, the potato salad just exploded with bacon and smoke this place is win

My very first visit here. I ate majority of my sandwich before I realized nasty lettuce and tomato on my sandwich.. I called and they said bring the sandwich back and we can refund you. They did NOT and DO NOT give refunds up front. They made up some sorry excuse like I have to call the owner but he’s busy. I never been anywhere where I didn’t get a refund upfront. Something told me to take a picture of my sandwich and receipt! And as of 12/8/2021 I never got my money back. I held off on posting this review since 11/23/21 … The guy disregarded it and said it’s from the heat and blah … I know the difference! Literally kept asking me to remake the sandwich. Absolutely not! I even felt sick after. . I don’t even want to drive by the place. I’m already working on reporting them further. This is not okay at all.

Service is okay but food is subpar at best. The meat was fatty and the toast dripping with butter. The onion strings tasted bitter. Still searching for a decent BBQ in Las Vegas

I had bookmarked this place and forgot about it. When I was looking at Google maps I was reminded and decided to give it a shot. The reviews were good and I liked the concept. The woman who works the cashier is a valuable asset, hope she is one of the owners because they can’t afford to lose her. The way she greets everyone and makes suggestions along with her great attitude starts you out right. Putting sandwiches on Texas toast is such a great idea. I also read the reviews on the fried ribs and had to give them a try. We also ordered the Dallas, which is a brisket sandwich w/ cheddar and grilled onions, and the Laredo, a cheeseburger with smoked sausage and grilled onions. Also got fried okra because not too many places have it, and baked beans. Had the order to go so it was nice to see everything labeled so no guessing who gets what sandwich or which one is which. The fried ribs were different and the bbq sauce was good along with the fried onions. The Laredo was juicy and hit the spot. Really liked the Dallas, superb. The fried okra was OK but would have been better with some sort of sauce or even just ranch. Baked beans were OK as well. All of the Texas toast was grilled to perfection. I will definitely be back.

The experience was outstanding! Ordered the Corpus Cristi and chose chili cheese tots for the side. I was surprised to see the cost for that add on expecting only a couple dollars since tots are a normal side. That said, I said never mind I would just take regular tots to avoid the ridiculous cost increase. Once I paid the man at the counter asked if I would like some cheese for my tots and I said sure. To go order, I get back to the Airbnb to discover the gentleman at the counter had loaded me up with chili cheese tots after all!! Great service, great experience and damn good food!! That’s how you win customers for life 👏🏼🤌🏼

Oh my the deep fried ribs was the bomb. I have never had them. So I was a little skeptical about them. If you haven't tried them you missing out

I ate here for the first time today. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with fries. Food was excellent. I’ll be coming back for more.

We were in the mood for grilled cheese and boy did this place satisfy that craving! The menu had a good variety of options and service was friendly. Definitely a great little hole in the wall lunch stop.

Yelp
I heard great reviews on Yelp and wanted to try this place for quite sometime. I ordered a Dallas sandwich since I love brisket. And it was very good. I would like to be back and try something else.

Yelp
WOW!!! Don't play with it!!! The greens are amazing!!!!..tender, well seasoned, and the pot liquor! I drank every drop!!! The mac & cheese..well seasoned, buttery, nice hint of garlic! Delicious!!! I don't remember which sandwich I had, but hunteey, honey....it was delicious. Brisket, grilled onions, and BBQ sauce on Texas toast. Describing the joy and flavor brings my eyes to water with content! Dang near forgot to mention the service....quick, friendly, and attentive!!! Finally, one of a few clean restaurants!! 100% definitely on my repeat!!

Yelp
I love the food at Texas Meltz, unfortunately I went there today and they had closed , everything about this place is a complete joy! Amazing food and the people are very friendly and welcoming. I started coming soon after they had opened, a few months later the prices went up, but I was happy paying the price for the outstanding food and service. I only wished that they were open later. They close at 7pm and I eat a little later than that. I hope they reopen soon because they are the best in town!

Yelp
It has been a while since the last time I ate here . It is still great ! I ordered this time thru Uber Eats since I had a 50% Off Discount up to $15 . I usually don't use these delivery services , but I got my food quickly and the food was still hot ! I don't live too far away also , so that helps . Anyway , back to the food review . I got the Big Tex Sandwich on Texas Toast with Fries , Cup of Chili , and a Sweet Tea . I get a similar sandwich at another bbq place I enjoy . I have to say the Big Tex is good except I didn't like the Hot Links . I really like Hot Links , but these need help . The Brisket and the Pulled Pork is really good ! I had my sandwich with Provolone Cheese , Sweet and Spicy Bbq Sauce on Texas Toast . Next time I will just get the Pulled Pork and Brisket Sandwich like I had before . You can get on like a hoogie roll too , but I recommend the Texas Toast . Yumm. I poured my Cup of Chili on my Fries and it was so good . The chili is perfect for the fries . I did add a little Texas Pete to give it a little more kick , but the meat taste really good . I highly recommend doing this . The Sweet Tea needs some work though . It was a little weak and needed a little more sugar , so it kinda tasted watered down . It doesn't have to be overly sweet like my son likes it , but just a touch sweeter and maybe make with another tea bag added . I ended up adding some of my tea I had in my refrigerator to kick it up a bit . All in all I would recommend coming here . I have been here a few times over the years and enjoy it . I have had the burger with pulled pork on it before and that was also good . The employees that I met here before were nice and service is good . Let's face it , part of being a good bbq place is friendly faces . I grew up in the Carolinas and also lived in Texas for a few years , so I love me some good bbq !

Yelp
#7. The San Antonio with Macaroni & Cheese, Texas Chili, Dirty Rice, Texas Toast, & a Mountain Dew while watching the Dodgers!

Yelp
I hadn't been here for a longtime. I received an email for my Birthday for $5 off. I ended up coming in today, 1 day after my Birthday. I didn't realize that the discount was only on the day of your birthday. The staff and manager were very kind and extended me the discount. I had the Fort Worth which is a pastrami sandwich with sauerkraut. It was hearty and delicious. I also got a side of onion straws which were spot on as well. I will be coming here more often.

Yelp
When it comes to sandwiches I tend to get weak in the knees over anything called a "melt"...why you ask? Probably some sort of medical condition I need to get looked at, but that's not important right now. I'm here to talk about a place called Texas Meltz located on the West Side. I had my first meal at Texas Meltz about a month ago and it's been somewhere I've been wanting to come back to since. This small sandwich/melt shop offers a bunch of different massive melts while also offering a pretty large BBQ menu to go with it including baby back ribs, brisket, smoked chicken, and even some seafood as well. My goal for my trip was to try one of the sandwiches and that's exactly what I ended up doing (even though deciding on one was super hard). I ended up ordering the "San Antonio" which is a huge sandwich packed with Turkey, Ham, Bacon, and Grilled Onions and packing so much flavour I almost had to take a break to gather my thoughts together. This sandwich was massive (I know I keep saying this, but I can't stress how large in size it is) and absolutely packed with meats. I didn't try and of the three meats separately so all I can really confirm is how good they all taste when mixed together. As a side, I ordered the shoe string onion rings which I liked, but would of much preferred the fatter/breaded style instead. They were plentiful in the container and had solid flavour, just not my general cup of tea (or I guess cup of onion rings). Overall, Texas Meltz is definitely the place to go if you are looking for a melt style sandwich (or some BBQ). This small restaurant offers some seating and was pretty quick to get our food out, which is pretty impressive with how big the meals are. I will 100% be coming back to this place in the future to give some other things I try and I definitely recommend giving this place a shot for yourself!

Yelp
Our experience at Texas Meltz was super impressive. It was in a basic strip mall and nothing fancy to look at, but quite pleased with the experience. I had #2 The Houston. I don't gravitate toward pulled pork but I'm glad I did. This sandwich truly changed my opinion of it. Meat wasn't fatty, it was tender, and the sandwich had the perfect amount of bbq sauce. It dry but not too saucy. My husband had #15 The Midland. He said it was a generous portion of meat with the perfect combo of veggies in a delicious sauce. The meat was tender and tasty. Sticking both of our sandwiches between Texas toast is just brilliantly delicious. The coleslaw was tasty but I was quite partial to the potato salad. I knocked a star off because both bathrooms were out of service and they serve Pepsi products. The ambiance and amenities are just about as important as the food.

Yelp
I drive past this shop week after week; after church, and today I was able to try it. The customer service was great. They opened at 10:00 on the dot. Very professional, clean on the inside. Very welcoming at the register, I didn't feel like I was bothering them at all. The cashier was helpful in picking my meal. I ordered at 10:07, I received my meal at 10:13. Exceptional, right?!? Taste so good make you wanna slap yo moma. Amazing taste

Manuel S.

Yelp
I ordered a #3 Austin with fried okra. I couldn't leave the location I was at so I had to order through door dash. It was a seemless experience. The sandwich was on Texas toast and was a great take on a mixed pastrami sandwich. The cheese is where it's at though. It was melt-in-your-mouth goodness. The fried okra was fried very good and the brownie was also pretty good. 5 stars. It would be hard for me to justify going back for another one because the price was expensive just like everywhere else, but I wouldn't say it's a 4 star joint. *side note, the brownies were amazing and I saved it for my coffee the next morning. Well worth it! Thanks guys!

Yelp
Omg thought I had left a review and have been on the app for the past 30 min sorting thru my reviews looking for you!! I live in Southern California. My mother-in-law lives in Vegas. When we come to visit, we have to come here AT LEAST ONCE during our trip. We haven't been to Vegas since Covid, but prior to that, we've been here maybe 4-5 times over the years. We're due for a visit soon and wish you would branch out! The food is SOLID and the service is always awesome! I would be incredibly sad if you ever shut down.

Shalee O.

Yelp
I've grabbed lunch here a few times and have always been happy. The sandwiches I've tried have been delicious and the portions are very generous, you won't leave unsatisfied.

Rachael O.

Yelp
The best brisket and wonderful service. We stopped here because we were shopping nearby and it will definitely be a future destination.

Yelp
My 'guardians' decided to try this place cuz it reminded them of the Strip Chezze food truck. I stowed away for the ride and boy I wasn't disappointed. Excellent BBQ brisket Sammie's with melted cheddar cheese. They were mad that I stole but their plates but it was worth it.

Christy H.

Yelp
Why is this place not a chain? I bet it will be in the future! Meat, bread and cheese is the name of the game here. Pick your meat, choose the cheese, slap it on Texas toast or a bun. Side of fries and soda from the fountain? You got it! Come get a brisket sandwich and do yourself a favor. This place is so good. Simple and delicious. Roast beef or pulled pork on your list. Ok they got that too. Pastrami you say? No problem!

Yanzhi X.

Yelp
Good food good service! Didn't really even notice this place until when I was really digging for a good sandwich. The food was really tasty, hit the spot, only complaint was it was a bit too salty for my liking, but other than that, loved the experience. Will definitely go back!

Jerry M.

Yelp
Great sandwiches. The brisket and BLT sandwiches are the best. Don't let the 'hole in the wall' discourage you from checking it out.

Jason F.

Yelp
This place is delicious! I have been eating at L2 for a couple years. I found the food at Texas Meltz to be fresher, the sides larger, and the service excellent. We will be back.

Anna J.

Yelp
This is a little hole in the wall place off Sahara and Decatur. I was searching for a good pastrami and Texas Meltz popped up on Yelp. It did not disappoint. I got the Ft. Worth which is pastrami and sauerkraut. It was mouth watering delicious. Side of fries and sauce similar to 1000 Island and a side of their bean which were so good. Will be back!

Beverly B.

Yelp
Came in here a couple months ago and the food here is pretty good. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Since my visit I've noticed the place has become a popular spot. it's in a good location. So sad to see them close they had some good bbq sandwiches and huge portions too.

Xavier G.

Yelp
I'm from Texas and even though it's my first time here, it was delicious and I WILL be coming back! I had the San Antonio with a few modifications and it was delicious. The Texas toast was so big and crispy. They were also very accommodating of my wife who has gluten intolerance and helped her get a meal she could eat! For those who are gluten free you might need to do you on research, sorry about that! I'm excited to taste the brisket in my next visit!

R T.

Yelp
On the verge of cuhming every time I take a bite of one of these sandwiches. Amazing quality and flavor explodes in the mouth this is our go to must stop Vegas spot after constant rounds of getting hammered at the four queens. Bye

AJ M.

Yelp
I had the pulled pork. Very tasty! I love the Texas Toast. Hubby had the brisket sandwich and really enjoyed it. Bring your appetite - these sandwiches are big!

Will E.

Yelp
We all know that everything is bigger in Texas! And the grilled cheeses and sandwiches at Texas Meltz are on the bigger side. That's the main plus. Just looking at the menu, this is my kind of place! I love grilled cheese, and adding brisket, ham or meat patties to a grilled cheese sandwich, now you're singing my song. But sadly the song needs a bit of tuning, not a new song, not a new instrument, just a bit of tuning...and I would live here. So Will, you pragmatic fellow, what needs to be done for this place to be Awesome? Well, my curious fellow Yelper, let me tell you. The secret is.......FAT and CHEESE!! There is just not enough of it. The idea is perfect, but it lacks a bit more butter in the toast and more gooey ooey cheese. The burger I got has all the look and feel of an awesome burger, but the meat patty and the brisket were overcooked and dry. Even with the Nice BBQ sauce selection, it was still dry. But Will, you say, this is a grilled cheese specialty, it's not fair just sampling the burgers? Don't worry, worried Yelper, I did try one of their special Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Lucky 13 on the menu, The Havana, consisting of Roast Pork, Ham, Pickles, Mustard, and Fried Onions. How can they mess that up you say? Well...... the cheese was almost non-existent, and there was not enough butter, mayo or any fat vehicle to maneuver around so much Texas toast. So again, a bit dry. The fried okra was awesome, though. Don't get me wrong, maybe it was an off day, maybe they will fix the issue. I truly hope so, because this place would be awesome if that happens. Fingers crossed

Yelp
You ever walk in somewhere to eat and feel you made a mistake when you walk in the door. Well today that happen to me, I walk in the door and this place did not have the feel to it that it did on my last 3 visits. When I walk in i was not greeted like the last times I've been there and that was no big deal but when I got my food I could see that it must be a new cook back there because I order the same thing I've been ordering the ElPaso and it was not good at all today, the Bacon was not crispy at all and there was not a lot of bacon in it also the Texas toast was more buttery instead of Toasty like the times I've had it before, who ever the old cook was had more pride in making the Sandwiches here, I could just tell whoever cooked this one wanted to just get it out of the way and to the Customer. I'm gonna give this place a break for a while and come back way later in the future

Jennifer E.

Yelp
Great customer service, very friendly and clean! Lots of food options to choose from! Definitely check this place out!

Derrick T.

Yelp
COVID review. All employees had masks on properly. Walked in and ordered, was quick and easy. The food is super good. Some really excellent fast bbq food. Most sandwiches came on Texas toast which was good. I got the brisket bbq sandwich and the Cuban. The brisket was better but they both were really good. Totally check this place out for a quick lunch or dinner spot. Really good food and the prices are decent.

Barra B.

Yelp
Man listen!!!! I Love love love this spot! Each time that I have ordered I have been so happy! The meat is always moist and great flavor. They arent stingy with the meat either. I usually get some type of BBQ. BBQ sauce has great flavor! Last few times I got a brisket bbq sandwich with caramelized onions on grilled bread! Dont sleep on their salads either!

Jimmy J.

Yelp
The food was very good. I will go back. The employees were very nice and made me feel welcome

Yelp
this hidden gem is in the strip mall called the Sahara Pavillion near PTs pub/Don TorTaco/Dominos. Only thing missing is the picnic tables and wood smoke smell but the food is creative and fun, great bbq from the brisket to pulled pork , DEEP-fried Ribs, the beans are chunky and spicy making them delicious. mac n cheese is to die for and they have a variety of HOT sauces to test your manhood if you wish. short hours so get there early and get you some REAL bbq in Las Vegas

Justin A.

Yelp
Food is what you'd expect from a BBQ place. Big on flavor, assortment of sauces, and very filling portions. Don't expect to get all three when you order delivery. They'll likely forget the sauces which cuts out the flavor and assortment of sauces, all you get is a very filling portion of a meal. Better to order at the store and service your own condiments or don't order at all.

Yelp
Self-appointed "Home of the Texas-sized Grilled Sandwich," Texas Meltz has inhabited Suite 6 of 4604 West Sahara Avenue since late 2018, a Saturday visit finding owner Larry and his team doing their best to safely serve guests quality Food at a fair price during the global pandemic. Easy to miss in the sizable shopping complex also containing El Super, where bold signage leads to affable servers in masks, it was in two safety-sealed bags that eight items traveled ten minutes, everything remaining temperature and texture appropriate thanks to careful packaging and smart choices like keeping Chili, Chips and Fries separate for home assemblage. Easily ordered off the Toast platform, all Sandwiches highly customizable from Bread to Accoutrements, it was with medium-spicy Chili that Lunch got started, a hint of Tomato brightening Beans and Beef atop crisp Fries or crispier Fritos before delving into Cornmeal crusted Catfish and juicy fried Ribs. Moving onto Sandwiches, appropriately named after Texas towns and offered on Texas Toast or Hoagie Rolls, those seeking Las Vegas' best Cheese Steak should strongly consider Texas Meltz's "Midland," the Jalapenos and smoky Mayo easily omitted for those craving "authenticity" instead of a pretty remarkable upgrade. Both smoking and grilling on-site, a smell of wood lingering in the tiny shop's air, Brisket proved appropriately fatty atop buttered Toast dubbed "Dallas" while The "Corpus Christi Burger" was a touch overdone beneath average Pastrami, thus leaving more capacity to enjoy a Turkey-filled "Plano" with added Bacon.

Brandy R.

Yelp
Wish they still had their combo plates with meat combos. The lubic was a bit dry. But over all the food was good. The service is excellent.

Jay B.

Yelp
TEXAS WELTZ not Texas meltz. IF the lettuce and tomato cooked like they claim, why not give a refund? I didn't order a cooked lettuce and tomato, the only thing that should be cooked is the FISH. I know the difference between cooked and rotten. But I'm not buying it. My very first visit here. I ate majority of my sandwich before I realized nasty lettuce and tomato on my sandwich.. I called and they said bring the sandwich back and we can refund you. They did NOT and DO NOT give refunds up front. They made up some sorry excuse like I have to call the owner but he's busy. Yelp
As a San Antonio native, any spot with the word "Texas" in it's name will immediately get my attention. While the name may erroneously imply that they are barbecue experts, I do like how the menu has sandwiches named after nearly all of the cities in TX. My first visit was okay but it was a few months before I felt compelled to visit again. Second visit was still solid, hence an overall good rating despite some issues. I am hoping they'll improve with time, as some issues cited in older reviews have already been addressed. FIRST VISIT: Dined in, got the Dallas (brisket, bbq sauce, grilled onions, cheese on Texas Toast, $9), added crispy onions and spicy mayo along with a side of Frito Pie ($5). Sandwich was large, brisket was juicy and not cut too lean as elsewhere, service was friendly and management spoke with each table. Frito Pie was small for the price but the flavor hit the spot for my nostalgic craving. SECOND VISIT: Ordered pickup for a workday lunch via GrubHub, got the Midland (grilled steak, onions, peppers, and mushrooms with cheese and spicy mayo on Texas Toast again), added crispy onions and another side of Frito Pie. Again, huge sandwich and this one had a great combination of flavors, like a cheese steak but on better bread. But this time the Frito Pie, while conveniently packed deconstructed for pickup, was missing both the cheese and onions, which are arguably essential to the dish. I really appreciate that staff are great with customizations but the line to order gets long with all the questions, so ordering online may be a better option. They have a great sauce bar with some bottled sauces and some house sauces, including both sweet and spicy barbecue. The Garlic Parm sauce is an expected hit that pairs well with the toast. While I may never be a regular here, it's a good lunch option to have in the area for something different. Good spot to share a meal too, since the sandwiches are large. They also have deep fried ribs, if you're into that sort of thing (I'm not).

Yelp
Texas Meltz is a BBQ restaurant located at Sahara/Decatur in Las Vegas. The restaurant is located in a small shopping plaza with limited parking available. Texas Meltz's dining room is open. You can also do pick-up and delivery as well through 3rd parties. The hours of operation are as follows - Monday - Friday (10:00 A.M) - (7:00 P.M). Saturday (10:00 A.M) - (6:00 P.M). Sunday (Closed). We ended up going on a Saturday around 11:00 A.M for a lunch. The menu has a wide variety of selections such as the Texas Sized Grilled Sandwiches, Burgers, and meats. After reviewing the menu, I had ordered The Odessa, $8.75, which is the 1/2 LB burger, Swiss Cheese, Grilled Onions and Chipotle Mayo. I opted for no onions and mayo, with added in sandwich meal for one side, one drink - additional $3.99 more. The side selected was their French Fries. The burger came out relatively quickly. It was huge! I was so excited to eat it! After having one bite though, I was slightly disappointed. The ground beef was seasoned heavily with onions and it was overcooked. The Texas Toast lacked flavor. The French Fries were okay, but over salted. The customer service here is awesome though!! The team members are super friendly. I do want to try their grilled meltz next time though!

Tristan S.

Yelp
My first time today ever eating here. I loved it. The pulled pork is very filling and delicious. The Texas toast it was served on was good. The fries are much better than most fast food restaurants. Cheese gets put on the bread in case any of you are allergic. I will be back to this place. I love bbq especially pulled pork. My only suggestion is that the restaurant leaves the TVs on or have som music playing.

Gillian S.

Yelp
I had the Fort Worth pastrami and sauerkraut, the biggest sandwich and the best I have eaten. The meat was very tender, the cashier and the cook were very friendly - really nice atmosphere. Thank you

Yelp
Was looking for a place to eat a late lunch and this place came up on my Yelp feed and SO HAPPY IT DID! DELICIOUS!!! Had the 4 piece deep fried baby back ribs with onion stings and baked beans. My boyfriend had the pulled pork sandwich with cheddar cheese and grilled onions. Ribs 4/5 stars, juicy crispy, and so tasty with their spicy bbq sauce. Could have been a little more tender. Onion strings 5/5 stars, crispy, light, full of flavor! Baked beans 4/5 stars, had delicious flavor. Not to sweet or savory, just right. Pulled pork sandwich 5/5 star, pork was tender, sauce was on point, and loved the wheat roll bread. They have all their different bbq sauces on the condiment counter so you can help yourself and try all the option. And if you like spicy you will love this place! They have about 15-20 different hot sauces to choose from. The counter is a nice setup when dining in. You have the sauces, napkins, silverware, and wet wipes. Their customer service was top notch as well. The young man was friendly and pleasant. The owner/cook came from the kitchen to help out with delivering the food and taken orders and he came by our table. A asked how the food was and how we heard of the restaurant. He was very nice, welcoming, and showed genuine appreciation for us coming in.

Yelp
4 words. DEEP. FRIED. BABYBACK. RIBS. Let me explain. My first time here and wanted a sandwich so I ordered the Midland ($8.95) on wheat. It has grilled steak, bell peppers, mushrooms, jalapenos, grilled onions, and chipotle mayo. You have your choice of what type of cheese and bread(white or wheat) to put it on. I chose pepper jack cheese and wheat for the bread. It's basically a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich but with chipotle mayo. I have always liked cheesesteak sandwiches and this one was even better with the pepper jack cheese and chipotle mayo. Overall size of the sandwich is about 8 inches but seemed to be closer to 6. Nevertheless it was a good sandwich. As for the star of the show the ribs kind of forced their way on to the scene. As I was finishing up my sandwich, they brought out somebody's order of ribs. The smell and appearance of them gave me no choice but to order it. I only wanted to order 1 piece to try but you can only order a minimum of 4. Needless to say I ended up eating all of it anyway. If you look at my pic I can confirm that it tastes as great as it looks. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and oh so juicy! Whatever batter they use to coat it just gives it a whole other dimension and its not as greasy as I thought it would be. I highly recommend this especially to those with dangerously low cholesterol levels. As for me I will just double up on my cholesterol pills. Ha ha. Some random info. Store hours are Mon to Fri 10 am to 10 pm. Sat 10 am to 8 pm. Sun 11 am to 6 pm. Sandwiches can also be made cold. If you are dining in they have a great assortment of hot sauces and various bbq sauces as well to put on your sandwich or burger. My favorite is the mango habanero sauce. Service was very friendly and they get your order out to you as soon as possible. In closing, The sandwich was good. The ribs even better. I am looking forward to trying out the burgers and brisket on the next couple of visits. Definitely a fan. Come check it out! Yelp 2018 Review #69 738 overall

Yelp
Is there more than 5 starts here in Yelp? This place is amazing! Delicious. Mouth watering. I never experienced BBQ like this. I sure wish Hawaii had this place. It's a place to try. Put this on your next Vegas list of things to do. Don't leave Vegas without trying this place. Also the staff!! Amazing super nice and helpful. They will explain the food and what they have. I don't have enough words on how to explain how ono (Delicious) the meat is here.

Yelp
My son and I were in the near one of the locations and decided to try them out , they are on our list of must try. The sandwiches are enormous and delicious, the service was beyond friendly and helpful. The menu has many items and everything looks great, we had the grilled chicken and the brisket sandwich, they taste as good as they look.

Yelp
We are traveling for the week and we wanted to try a different type of restaurant and we came across this place and I have never been more pleased with an experience. The guy at the front was super nice and very welcoming.. Definitely 100% recommend trying and the food is amazing!!!

Yelp
Immediately placed on hold for two minutes after calling since restaurant was listed open but none of the linked apps (as per their website) were enabled to order (at 11:45am). The one star for the tude of "Well you can place the order, but we won't deliver it. you'll have to go through grubhub or another app" at which point I had no words but "ok" and I hung up to open GH and order but they are not accepting orders there until tmrw ‍ Received a call back telling me that they are accepting through door dash now and none of their listed delivery apps which seems weirdly selective (have GH+ credits so I chose not to try DD at the moment). Food looks cool but I guess I won't know today.

Yelp
The Texas sandwich was good and full of meat However it was $20 for that and some beans. Then I added a jalapeno sausage which ended up being 7 thin bite-sized slices for$7. Almost $28 for lunch. Expensive!!!

Yelp
Been seeing their van around town and their store front had been haunting me whenever I drive by. Whenever I wanted to try it at night, they were closed so I finally ordered lunch from them. So many choices in sandwiches for $9.99. You can make it a combo (one side and a 24oz fountain drink) and maybe add a pickle spear which came out to around $16. I ordered for pick-up through a food app and it was ready within 10 minutes. The Midland was basically a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich between Texas Toast, but oh my was this good! I usually don't do cheese because my body and dairy aren't friends, but I don't think I could've truly experienced the "Meltz" without it for this sandwich on my first try. I wasn't a fan of the cole slaw for my side. It was thick for my taste. The bbq sauces that I asked for on the side were pretty good. There sandwich didn't need it. But I tried it with them anyway because I enjoy bbq sauce. The woman at the counter during my pick-up was very kind and welcoming. I'd definitely try another sandwich here. One sandwich really filled me up and I can't believe I made it through the second half. Good amount for what was spent here. **Don't forget to wear a mask when entering this place.**

Yelp
I'm lucky I don't live closer to Texas Meltz and its addictive combination of a classic grilled cheese, great tender BBQ, some delicious sweet Texas toast, and those big fat steak-style french fries to mop up the remains. The interior isn't much to look at. I'd probably not eat in here, even in the pre-COVID-19 era. But the takeout is packaged fairly well and makes for quick work once you get home. My only real criticism is the fountain drinks here -- every time I've been here -- tasted off. The first time it was too watery, the second time it was too warm, and the third tasted watery yet again. Not the end of the world but an unfortunate drawback, as you're looking to wash down a mountain of beef and bread.
