New Austin Pop-Up Restaurant Southeast Roadhouse Is About Asian Flavors and American Dining Chain Dishes | Eater Austin

"A new pop-up from chefs Nicolai McCrary (of Penang Shack) and Sakif Khan (of Good Jinn) that fuses Malaysian and Bangladeshi flavors with classic American casual-dining and steakhouse motifs. Inspired by meals at chain steakhouses and casual restaurants, the concept reworks familiar dishes—beef tartare with chile crisps, curry powder, and fried mustard seeds; an A1-style steak sauce built from tamarind juice and chiles; and dinner rolls made with naan dough and honey ghee. The initial menu highlights a lemongrass-and-brown-sugar–marinated bavette with mango pickles and spicy peanut sauce, an oyster duo (a grilled curry-buttered oyster with toasted panko and garlic and a raw oyster with a cilantro-chutney mignonette), and a Caesar dressed with fermented shrimp, naan breadcrumbs, fried anchovies, and shaved cured egg yolks. The first pop-ups take place in June with $125 tickets that include whiskey pairings by a Nashville-based distillery, Resy reservations, and additional dates to be announced." - Nadia Chaudhury

Been here a few times over the past few weeks since I am working in the area. It gets packed here, but all but one of my experiences have been blah. Tried to change my drink order at the bar one visit as the frozen tasted like they put to much ice in the machine. Bland. I was told it was mess up their "INVENTORY" if I switched from frozen to on the rocks. First and last time sitting at the bar. Inventory on a frozen drink out of a machine that you've already put too much ice in???? Well since I know that was an excuse saved especially tor me, I took it for what it was. So we go again last week, I order the medallions MEDIUM WELL! Couldn't even eat what they brought out. I just left this message on the table. Bread and butter and baked sweet potato is good if they don't put marshmallows on them after you ask them not to!

Google
I think Texas Roadhouse is usually one of the best bang for the buck chain steak houses. My porterhouse was a little off last night when compared to how it normally taste. Still a pretty decent meal overall. Staff was very friendly, great bartender, overall very good experience. I'd definitely go back.

Google
We enjoyed an excellent dinner here. Steaks were done properly and both the salads and sides were very nicely done as well. I recommend the strawberry cheesecake, it's a large portion and really excellent NY cheesecake. Keep in mind these are very popular restaurants so expect to wait for a bit to get a table during typical dinner hours. They do have a call-ahead option which really helps expedite getting a table. The noise level is quite high due to the large number of people but you'll enjoy a great meal here.

Google
Excellent meal and service. The wait staff was great. Checked on us multiple times and was very attentive to our needs. At one point the music got louder and the wait staff began line dancing. It was a great atmosphere and good food. The place was filled up, but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Maybe a five minute wait at most. Our food came out quickly also. The bar area had good access to TVs with all of the games. Overall, a great place for a good dinner.

Google
Mostly five stars. It was a little loud but then again we we seated in the bar area, so I suppose that's not really a negative. We had lunch and our table ordered a lot of different items. The server that was assigned to us was still training but he seemed eager to please in a friendly way and was attentive. Our drinks were refilled timely and we were offered extra bread... napkins etc. Overall the food was good and the service was also good. I will return. All the meals were hot and fresh, filling and hearty. Comfort food fast.

Google
Wow, I’m kind of shocked. I’ve never had the need to leave a poor review for this establishment and location. Tonight the wait was long and the food was barely edible. I ordered on the app and the wait was long due to the dinner rush on a Friday night. I placed my order at 7:10 p.m. with a pick up time of 8:15 p.m.; my order was ready at 8:33 p.m. I always get the Dallas cut filet mignon (basically for the last 10+ years whenever I dine at a TRH) and this one was clearly low quality, chewy even at medium-rare. I literally had to stop and take a photo because there was a vein or tendon sticking out of my filet. The seasoned rice was half cooked and even the butter tasted like Country Crock. Clearly, to keep prices relatively affordable for their patrons, this chain has lowered the quality of their food significantly. I’m really disappointed, but not surprised. RIP Texas Roadhouse, this customer will be taking her $ elsewhere.

Google
Always great every time we've been! Love this place, food is excellent, service is great, atmosphere is cozy and fun, oh the peanuts 🥜 are in a bag up front just crab a bag. One our favorite places to take our music clients as well. Keep up the good work!

Google
Excellent trip to Texas Roadhouse! My waitress, Kyler, was amazing and she recommended the Smothered Chicken. I went with her suggestion and added a loaded baked potato and some fresh vegetables. Everything was delicious and I was very happy with the chicken. The mushrooms on it were so tasty. I would recommend this location for sure!

Yelp
Excellent service our server had a smile on his face really changed our mind on how our service was. We haven't been back for three years and the service was poorly years ago, but the service was excellent this time around good tasting food. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Yelp
10.23.25 Really wish the quoted time for pickup order was accurate. Second visit here and bad both times. 30 minutes quoted, 45 minutes later, the order comes out wrong. An hour later, I'm on my way.
google avatar

Yelp
Very good dinner. We had fillet, ny strip and a bunch of sides. Everything was delicious. Our server was really nice too. Also, super quick!

Alana T.

Yelp
I had a rack of ribs, very filling and large portions, the place was packed, and everyone down there seems to love the place. There was a wait even with reservations, we had a good server Morris, and my friend went crazy for their fried pickle appetizer and liked her grilled salmon. I knew spending the week in Tennessee, I had to have a rack of ribs at some point.

Yelp
Best Texas Roadhouse I've ever been to! The staff was so welcoming and sat us quickly, the service was friendly and great. I went with the fort worth ribeye and it was easily the best steak I've had. The restaurant had great energy and all of the servers were attentive and fast. I really wanted to go again before leaving TN, but it'll have to wait till next time.

Reginald W.

Yelp
Went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate child going off to boot camp. As a party of 4 we ordered 2 20oz ribeyes meals a ribeye and chicken meal and a 12oz ribeye combo with grilled scrimp. We had broccoli sweet potatoes and potato skins as sides and appetizers. Santana was our server and was very good a making it a nice experience. Our problem stems from the fact the steaks were not cooked at the temps we ordered. The medium wells came to the table well done and the mediums came out medium well. The last time I came here it was the same problem. Please fix this as it takes away from a great dining experience. The ambiance is loud and crowded so be ready when you come. Not sure how this happened but this review is for the MURFREESBORO, Tn location

Yelp
While eating 2 waiters bumped into each other all drinks fell on the floor. The manager then asked several waitresses to clean up the mess. They used a BROOM and then tried to mop the floor with towels from the kitchen and customer cloth napkins, all while we ate our lunch. When the waitress finished, she used the dirty towels from the floor to wipe the seats that were drenched. Question:does the restaurant not own a mop? This made us wonder how the mop the restaurant?

LaRay L.

Yelp
Absolutely disgraceful service. The hostess, Jazahara, stood at the hostess stand, soda straw in mouth, sanitizing her hands, and chatting with her trainee while blatantly ignoring us--the only guests waiting. When I finally asked if we were in the right place, she intentionally continued to ignore us. I asked for a manager, and out came Alex in his turquoise TR shirt, claiming to be the manager. Instead of correcting the behavior, he stood by while she rolled her eyes, pulled faces, and kept right on with her soda. My elderly mother-in-law even pointed out her rude expressions, and Alex dismissed it all with, "she's a minor." - Excuse me? That's not an excuse for open disrespect in front of paying customers. It's clear why this staff member has no manners-- and then "training" a new staff member all the while! Alex sets the tone by tolerating and mimicking it. With no attempt to change the experience, he double downed snarkily and asked if we still wanted to eat there, the answer was obvious: nope. We left and enjoyed a great meal with great service at Aubrey's down the road instead. Texas Roadhouse in Powell desperately needs to clean house. A hostess with a ghetto attitude and a manager with no leadership skills--what a combination.

Yelp
We got the combo appetizer and it was all good. My husband couldn't stop snacking on the fried pickles and the potato skins were loaded with melted cheese and bacon. The jalepeno and jack cheese bites were amazing. They reminded me of the Cinnabon delights at Taco Bell but filled with jalepenos and cheese. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and were amazing. The server was very attentive and was sure to explain everything so nothing was left to chance. Definitely will be returning soon.

Yelp
We arrived on a Saturday night at 6 knowing there was going to be a line. An hour and 45 minute wait? We went right to the bar, no waiting necessary. Excellent! 2 female bartenders were excellent, in a good mood and were joking with customers. Our steaks came out in a reasonable time frame considering how busy this location was. Cooked properly and all sides were great!!!!

Yelp
This was actually the first time I tried their chicken and it was delicious. What I loved most about it was how tender it was. I usually stay away from grilled chicken because it's often chewie, but wouldn't mind having this one again. Service was excellent. Staff was welcoming and often checked for re-fills. Since it's called Texas roadhouse, country music is what you would expect. The one issue I have is the size of the chicken was smaller than expected.
google avatar

Paul S.

Yelp
Food was good. My brothers beef tips looked great. The steak I had was a little more done than I'd like but I think it's because I ordered medium well which was to have a slightly pink center. I should have said just medium. My wife had the 5oz salmon which was tasty. Sound level prevents conversations cross table in some instances.

Yelp
I'm so glad we took a 30min rideshare from our hotel downtown to come here. They don't accept reservations btw, although they do have a wait-list. Upon entering, we were greeted immediately and we're told it was a 2 hour wait for our party of 2. Hubby asked about seating at the bar and the hostess noticed that a bunch of people had just left so we were in luck. Mikayla was out waitress/bartender. She was very welcoming when we told her we were visiting from Canada and we're beyond excited for our first Texas Roadhouse experience. I started off with a drop coffee (she had to go make a new pot but she was so kind about it!!) and hubby got an original margarita. We ordered their Cactus Blossom for apps to share and we each ordered their Texas sized Combo- half rack of ribs & 6oz sirloin, made rare and smoothered in sauteed mushrooms & onions with sides of loaded baked potato, buttered corn & Mac & cheese. Let me tell you, the steak was RARE & oh so juicy, tender and flavourful. Their Mac had the most incredible umami, cheesy flavor. The ribs were smokey, tender and fall off the bone. Oh and we can't forget their famous bread & cinnamon butter. As an unexpected bonus, a group of 4 sat by us at the bar and struck up conversations with us. The restaurant itself was very homey with happy vibes. It was a true Nashville experience for us ( we're not bar people so going a little out of downtown and getting to mingle with the locals was so nice!). The staff their are all so kind, they looked like they truly enjoy their job. Another shout out to our most wonderful waitress Mikayla though. Her bubbly & kind personality is unmatched and she truly went out of her way to make it an incredible experience for us. We even got to watch their birthday yeehaw!

Yelp
I called 3 days in advance the woman who answered the phone was nice yet rushed. I asked her if I could have a reservation and was declined she abruptly ended the phone call and never mentioned that I could call the day of for a party of 9. Saturday we arrive and my nephew put us down at 1723, 1855 we got a booth and they added a table with foldout chairs at the end. 1905 the server comes to the table and takes our drink order, I order an appetizer. She returns with our drinks and no plates for the appetizer. I ordered an unsweetened iced tea with lemon and Splenda she returns with my drink with barely any ice no lemon and sweet-n-low. My brother-in-laws glass had lipstick and dried food on the cup. We order our food and of course the appetizer comes out and we had to use our napkins to as plates. We had to repeatedly ask her for refills for our beverages. She never cleared plates or cups off of the table. My family and I prebussed all unused plates and cups off of the table throughout our dining experience. A manager could see the look of disappointment in my face and asked if I was ok. I informed her of the situation and though she helped the server out she was very unempathetic. That's when I found out I could have called the morning of to have my dining party sat at a desirable time. Our food comes out and my sweet potato toppings had fallen on to my steak, the server see this and doesn't offer to go get me more toppings for my sweet potato. Now my steak has butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon on it (so yummy). I had to ask her for more toppings. Manager returns and refills my tea with no ice and later brings back a glass of ice so I can put the ice in my glass at the table. I inform the server of the cupcakes we had purchased for my daughter's birthday, she brings the to the table and there is no place to put the cupcakes cause yet again she didn't take ANY finished dishes or cups off of the table. Mind you we asked for plate for our appetizer and again for our cupcakes. We open the cupcakes light the candles and sing her a happy birthday and still no plates. By the time she finally returns with said plates it's been 15 minutes. Which this was actually a good thing because when we arrived the host had asked if the could put the cupcakes in their fridge to which we oblige. When we got the cupcakes the apparently had put them in the freezer cause they had been in there since 1730. The cupcakes that were on the outer ring were completely frozen and the center ones were extremely cold. My steak was under seasoned and ribs though were fall of the bone were dry and needed more bbq to be edible. All in all with the entire dining party we must have spent over $300 plus tax for a dinning experience that was terrible. I would not recommend this restaurant to parties of 4 or more. The service was slow, lazy, and unrealistic. Food was mediocre and bland.

Yelp
Golf buddy and I decided to try the new Texas Roadhouse. We to our surprise our wait was less than 6 minutes. We got there at 5:10pm. We ordered a drink from our waiter, Connor. We ordered our steak and prime rib when he returned. Our salads were delivered in minutes. Main course follow shortly after. The manager and Connor checked on us to make sure everything was to our liking. Atmosphere is made for adults and children as well. I highly recommend this establishment. Oh, the meal was cooked to perfection. This was a Monday evening. If the chef in your home needs a Chefs Nite Out. Try it! RonyX!

Bekah E.

Yelp
To go orders take so long, because employees are chit chatting and eating, rather than give orders out. You get a notification that your food is ready, but they claim "it was pressed ready by accident" then you don't even get your whole order. When you call and speak with the manager, Abby, she says she'll send you an email. But you never get it. Save yourself the hassle, go somewhere else unless you have all night to wait for your food.
google avatar

Yelp
I was blown away with not only the service but the quality of meat. Thick cut steak cooked to perfection. I eat steak 5 nights a week. And I have to say this one was perfect. Highlight of my meal was my bartender. I think her name was Makayla. If I'm wrong I apologize. Her and the bartender before her were just amazing. Offered drinks and desserts went over the menu. Just good service. Great service actually. I had a big salad and a ribeye. Will be back for sure next time I'm up that way. Only downside to the meal was I'm not normally a fan of when steaks have grill marks, as that usually dries out the steak. Heck I might even come back next Thursday.

Cassaundra G.

Yelp
Food & service is generally very good. I usually dine alone at the bar & order a Legendary Margarita & a 16oz Ft Worth ribeye Pittsburgh style w sides. Am usually seated no later than around 4pm. I just wish that when I order my ribeye steak Pittsburgh style that it would reliably be served that way. So far this TR only has about a 20% success rate on Pittsburgh style ribeye. I've heard way too many excuses, honestly. When it's done correctly, it's amazing! It's just sad.....
google avatar

Nina E.

Yelp
We waited for about 20-30 minutes. And Ms Cheyenne is our server. She is doing great for her first day here. She is kind hearted, patient and understanding. I ordered the 3 piece catfish dinner and my husband chicken and ribs dinner. Our sides were baked sweet potatoes and house salads. I love this place. Seems like I can't get enough! Well everyone loves a good steak! RIGHT? If you ain't been to. TRH then you need to come!

Cody S.

Yelp
Only reason I'm not giving a 1 star is the bread and cinnamon butter and sides lol. Ordered an old fashioned last night... the drink came clear and pink... virtually no makers in the drink whatsoever. Mainly their "house mix" and cherry juice the lady said. She said it was normal. Tasted like cinnamon water. The most watered down drink I've had in years. The steak was super hard to cut and I ordered medium rare. The loaded mashed potatoes were great actually. Buttered corn tasted like it's straight out of a can and microwaved.

Sarah B.

Yelp
Great service, gets crowded on weekends, expect a wait, suggest getting on the online waiting list. Food is good quality. Love the free bread. Food is fair price. Bar seating available. County atmosphere

Lincoln F.

Yelp
Excellent rolls, salad, ribeye steak and ribs. Once we got seated on a Saturday around noon, which took about 20 mins, service was on point, was on top of getting our order and drinks. Food came out in a timely fashion and was hot and delicious, perfectly seasoned and medium rare exactly. Seating was comfortable and the decor was very nice, they even had the elusive jack-a-lope! Over all a very good experience.
google avatar

Yelp
We were thankful to discover this Texas Roadhouse nearby us. The food is always good, and the servers are friendly and attentive. How do they make their salads taste so good? Texas Roadhouse makes their own dressings, and the Thousand Island, Ranch, and Italian are all excellent. I have never had a bad steak here, and the green beans are absolutely delicious. My only complaint about this location is that the wait can be pretty long, but that could be because there are so few Texas Roadhouses in the surrounding area. If you have the TR app you can put your name on the waitlist ahead of time, and that seems to be the way to go. Since this is one of our favorite steakhouses, I look forward to many future visits.

Haidyn R.

Yelp
got a bunch of rolls to go while on a road trip. Fantastic. A+. would recommend everyone do the same
google avatar

Christina L.

Yelp
The Yeast Rolls w Cinnamon Whipped Butter.... Perfectly cooked steaks.... The amazing service..... I am such a huge fan of Texas Roadhouse and you should be too! This weekend, I was not only celebrating my birthday but had a pregnancy craving for a good ribeye. Husband immediately perked up because he wanted the rolls, so it was set! We waitlisted online, fought the crowd for parking and then checked in. Jackie, you the MVP! She was always checking on us and got me the yummiest Shirley Temples. Loved her! Please go extra hungry and use that online waitlist!

Les C.

Yelp
Everything is good here. The service is excellent. The only drawback is they don't open until 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Great prices lots of choices.
google avatar

Codie W.

Yelp
CHECK IN ON THE APP! Once you check in, that places you in line or tells you how long the current wait is. At any given time, this place stays on a wait. The recently relocated location is conveniently located near plenty of shopping so you're able to browse while you wait for your text telling you your tables ready. The food is always delicious. Our go tos are the steak kabobs, catfish, and chicken tenders. Although, busy but organized and clean. From the hostess to the management, service is great.

Peggy T.

Yelp
Their steaks are the best you will ever eat. Tender and cuts like butter. All the servers are trained well. Casual family oriented and fun. Tony and Sherry run this place like a well oiled machine. They are AMAZING people and their servers take on their treat everyone like GOLD personality. All that and good food to die for.
google avatar

Joe W.

Yelp
I visited this location recently and ate Chicken fried chicken. Large portion and good quality but white gravy tastes a little smoky for me. My sides of mashed potatoes and corn were good. Very noisy atmosphere. Service was good for a busy Sunday. Beware of the Ziosk machine on every table. It charged us $1.99 just for looking at the available games- not playing- just looking. I won't be touching that thing again
google avatar

Harry H.

Yelp
The food is horrendous! This place is always packed so I really believed the food had to be amazing!! But wow this place sucks. And it's busy because people are cheap and like cheap food. The only good thing they served to my family of 6 was the rolls. 2 steaks, way over cooked. Ribs, dry. Chili I'm sure was from a can. Kids sliders, dry dry dry. Mac n cheese was Kraft. They couldn't even come up with their own recipe! This place is a disgrace.

Big D.

Yelp
We came in to have some swell water and bread and to yap to friends. As one of the workers kindly cut us off our providers of bread the manager came in to tell us we can have more bread and that she would rather have us here safe and not being in the street. Oh, I love Texas Roadhouse! Their steaks are always juicy and flavorful, and the rolls...oh my goodness, they're so warm and delicious! Plus, the atmosphere is always fun and lively. It's a great place to go with friends or family!
google avatar

Tina H.

Yelp
We returned with our family (a big party) and the service was great, as well as all of the food. Ordered to-go for the second time at the new location. Waited in my car 20 minutes past the time I was told our order would be ready. There were 10 cars in the to-go spots and not one order had been delivered. I went to the to-go window and our order was on a shelf and cold. The employees at the window were not friendly. You should alert guests what the true pick-up policy is.
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
Great food great service. Food was delicious. We had the prime rib, chicken fingers, salmon, Caesar salad with salmon, and ribeye. All cooked perfectly.
google avatar

Davis C.

Yelp
This place is always packed but who doesn't love rolls. I toss between the salmon or the 8oz steak, green beans are great. It's worth the wait yall.
google avatar

Jay B.

Yelp
The food and environment was overall great, except my dad's steak was tough, and our waitress Tiffany was very cold to us. at least we got a refund on the steak.

Bob S.

Yelp
My friends placed a to-go order family meal to share and it was a nightmare. The order wasn't done in time. When we got home, we realized we were missing some items and they gave us chicken instead of steak. When we called to ask them to get our steak, we got transferred all around the store and finally when we got the manager on the phone she was useless. She first told us to bring our chicken and she would swap it for steak. This would've been a fine solution if we didn't live 20 minutes away. She offered nothing else and truly could care less that she ruined our night we had planned. We ended up driving back to get the steaks, and she finally said she would give us a free family meal next time we came. At this point I was happy and glad she finally found a way to make up for everything. She said I would receive an email with the coupon. When we get home to eat, one of the steaks was completely raw and un edible of course. At this point, I was like whatever. Well.... The next morning, I got an email with one free appetizer, not a family meal. She lied to our face, wasted an extra hour of driving, all for a free appetizer. I Dont recommend this place to anyone. Most restaurants know when they mess up bad and will do whatever they can to make the situation right. Not this place.
google avatar

Isaiah T.

Yelp
As a Texas Roadhouse connoisseur whose visited over a dozen different locations, this is a perfect location. I ordered steak and rolls to go and it was ready to go only 5 minutes after the scheduled time with easy curbside pickup. Lots of butter was provided for the the extra rolls as well. Thank you for utilizing the large butter togo tubs, not all locations do and it makes all the difference
google avatar

Morgan D.

Yelp
I have been to many Texas roadhouses and this one has great customer service. I will admit the wait was a little long to be seated and for the food to arrive to our table. However, the servers and hostesses were very kind and went above and beyond to serve us in the midst of a very busy day. Our last waitress was Jennifer and she was wonderful! The food arrived perfectly and how we ordered it. Of course you can't go wrong with the rolls! Will definitely be back to this location.
google avatar

Isles G.

Yelp
We had a great evening! The place was packed, but the wait wasn't bad. The bread was amazing as always, and the food was very tasty. The service was excellent! I particularly enjoyed the steak medallions and sweet potato! Everyone left full and happy!

Cristian R.

Yelp
Food and services are not worth the wait. Steak took a long time to come out and when it did it came out overcooked. The place is not bad, people mind their own business. The competition has been so much better which is very disappointing.
google avatar

Yelp
I went to Texas Roadhouse this past Saturday at 4:25 p.m. After a one hour wait, we were seated. The highlight of the meal was the Strawberry Lemonade and the rolls with the superb butter. I ordered an 11 Oz Sirloin to be cooked medium well, a loaded bake potato, and a side of chili. The chili was decent and came right away. When the steak came, it was overcooked. There was no pink and it was dry. My niece ordered filet mignon medium well with the same result. The baked potato had way too much salt on it. I was so disappointed as I expected a Legendary Steak as advertised. Twenty-five years ago, I had a bad experience with Taco Bell. I have not eaten there since. I am feeling the same way about Texas Roadhouse. The only reason I gave it two stars is the Strawberry Lemonade and the rolls.

Sarah M.

Yelp
Texas roadhouse I love you but what in the world. We sat and waited for two hours AFTER they said our table was READY and we already waited forever. I truly do love their bread and even though the food is just ok i always think it'll be different. i'm so so frustrated because it's so insanely crowded, they say they are ready and we wait longer, it's just insane. either open another or get yourself together. PLEASE find a system. we also just got our food and it's 8:30, our table was "ready" at 6:00. i am not happy with this and it isn't a one time thing this happens every single time and every night. I would like to say thank you to a friend Carrie for getting our meal free. I appreciate it but this all NEEDS a solution

Maryann H.

Yelp
love the staff and rolls just need more butter with the rolls. Great price for all the food $. I would so recommend to come visit and definitely check out the rolls.

Yelp
We just had dinner here. Our server, Henry, did a great job As for the filet, I ordered it rare, no salt, no seasoning. It came out way overcooked, but no seasoning Ordered another filet, waited 15 minutes for the refire. By this time, my wife was 75% finished with her meal. The second filet came out, was perfectly cooked, but was covered with seasonings. Kitchen can't follow instructions. The guy that brouight my second filet, I didn't get his name but he was wearing a red shirt, brought two to-go boxes. I mentioned my wife was about done with her dinner and he said that's why he brought two boxes. I said are kidding? I didn't come here to take my dinner home. I didn't come inside to order to go, I ordered dinner to sit down and eat. He had a really puzzled look on his face and took off. Never heard from anybody after that and got no discount for the problems.

Yelp
Finally tried the new TR location and was very disappointed. I placed a to-go for a bacon cheeseburger at 5:28 and it wasn't ready until 7:10. All for 1 burger! :(

Yelp
love Texas Roadhouse. I have never had a bad meal here. This place is always crowded and always slammed with hungry people. The reason is because everyone loves the roadhouse. I mean what is not to love? They have steak, ribs, chicken, beer, peanuts, sports, and friendly waitresses. This place has it all. My family and I love going here and I usually get the Sirloin steak meal deal. I get 10 ounce steak, baked potato, and house salad. Can't go wrong with it. We will be back and I don't need to tell you to visit because I know you will! 5 out of 5 all day long!

Yelp
Been a regular 7 years, and as of recently, Bartender mikayla... Can't be bothered to get you any Dipping sauces Other than what a cactus onion comes with... Because it's too deep in the refrigerator in the back... And then throw you nothing but attitude... Do not even place your order... And never look at you again for any other services. But yet sling the honey mustard at you .. Never putting the order in, but yet giving us the bill for food we never received.. Do better texas roadhouse pleas Literally told me well. We have honey mustard, but it's kind of deep in the fridge, do you really Still want it?

Yelp
Usually we have had excellent service and excellent food at Texas Roadhouse. Today we came for my wife's birthday and it was terrible all around. Took a long time to get our drinks, then when they brought a Dr. Pepper instead of a diet coke, the waitress was irritated as if it was my fault. It took a long time to get the correct drink. My wife ordered prime rib and it came way over cooked. Even if she wanted well done, it would have been overcooked. The replacement took so long we told the waitress to cancel the order. Then, after everyone had finished, the manager brought her a new plate, which was also way over done. Apparently they don't serve fresh prime rib. Both were reheated under a broiler. We told the manager to forget it, but she just left it and walked away. No accomodation for the screw ups, no apologies for the terrible service, no acknowledgement of her birthday. Nothing. Too many fine restaurants in Hendersonville to put up with this.

Yelp
The manager has such an attitude. We wanted a party of 8 and she started talking to us like we were toddlers. I get it the restaurant was busy but we did not need the sass
