This was our first bad experience at any Texas Roadhouse. Our glasses came to the table with dirt floating in the soda. Our server got us two replacement sodas. The outsides of the glasses felt like they had residue on them, but we wiped them off and kept them. Our blossom was cold on one side. We didn't complain, and ate the hot side. When my steak came, it was mostly fat. This was a strip steak. The server took it back, and brought me a new one. I waited almost 25 minutes for the new steak. My son was done with his by the time mine came back out. I ordered it medium rare. The one I got was rare and cold. Our server did not come back to check on us, and another server overheard our conversation and offered to get a manager. Our server, in the meantime, brought the check.. She asked if I wanted the steak recooked, but I declined. We had been there for an hour and a half at that point, not including time spent waiting for a table,, and needed to get home. She again repeated that a manager would be out, and left with our check and my credit card. I had never intended not to pay for my son's dinner, drinks, or the blossom. I hoped that perhaps I would be comped a percentage of mine, which was inedible. She returned having run my card for the whole amount, and after waiting for 20 minutes for the manager to come (which he never did), we left. I understand that restaurants can have an "off night", but this was terrible. As much as going out to eat costs these days, and with as many choices as Springfield has, we will think twice about choosing this location again for awhile. Very disappointing.
