Really enjoyed this pick order! Everything was delicious with the exception of the rolls. They seemed very brown and not necessarily fresh and warm. Honestly, I think you should get more than 4 rolls and 1 bag of peanuts when you’re already paying $70 and getting out of your car, after you showed up on time and they didn’t have my order ready and I had to wait in my car longer and wait for another text when my food was ready. I would still recommend eating here, just check your rolls before you leave and let the people who give you the food know you want more peanuts, they are FREE, it’s not like they limit you if you dine in SAME WITH THE ROLLS!!!!!

First time in Salt Lake City and it is absolutely gorgeous. The valley has a western arid feel like New Mexico, but has a lot of high plains flora and fauna. The backdrop for this restaurant is amazing. Food: Nailed the Steak and Ceasar. The wings were a bit under sauced, but they offered me more. Bread was also a bit dry. That was the most disappointing part. Also, with the trend in heavy sodas being a thing, they might want to ensure the soda was balanced. A bit watered down. Gave them 4 overall on food Service: Great. He did a wonderful job. Brought me whatever I needed and checked up regularly. Atmosphere: They did everything a Texas Roadhouse is supposed to do. Birthday announcements, free peanuts, etc. Plus the gorgeous landscape in the distance.

Ok, I am not one to leave ugly reviews for food joints, but I really feel inclined to do so on this one. I took my daughter, SIL and 2 Littles for a birthday dinner on 10.3.25. Let's start with the good. It was pretty clean and the delicious warm rolls waiting on the table were great! The server came pretty quickly to grab drink orders and had them out within the first 5 minutes. They asked us if we were ready to order and it was pretty obvious that we were still getting everyone settled in. They came back about 3 minutes later and asked again. Appreciated, but again, it was obvious that we werent ready. It seemed to be very rushed. Normally, I would appreciate that, but with a 3 year old ans a one year old, it was very obvious that we needed 4 or 5 minutes more. We just picked up our menus when they came back the 2nd time. Again, normally I would appreciate that. Not last night. SIL ordered the NY and stripes to be Well-done. He showed me and it was very pink. I would consider it Medium rare. My daughter ordered the chicken critter salad. When she got it, it looked beautiful. However, she said something tasted very OFF and felt that she shouldn't eat it for fear of some sort of sickness or "sourness"??? Something was off. The kids had the steak bites and green beans and they were very good! The other had the chicken stripe and didn't eat, but that is normal. I ordered the $35 porterhouse Tbone to be cooled to Medium/medium rare and Mashed potatoes. The potatoes were scrumptious!!! The steak? I have literally had better steaks at sizzle. It was so full of grissel and tendons that I could only eat about 1/3 of it. I brought it home and then heated it up tonight to try and feel better about spending 35bucks on it. Attached are the photos of the medium, medium rare steak. ( I ended up feeding it to my dog) Seriously. I have NEver had a medium rare steak look like this. And it was pretty much the most flavorless steaks that i have ever had.I dont send food back, but in hindsight and knowing later on the car ride about everyone else's food experience, and not want to deal with 2 littles at this point. Anyway, I have not been to TR for about 10 years and this was the first time back. After paying $113.11 for mashed potatoes, warm rolls and kids steak bites, i can honestly say that I won't be back for another ten years. PS, I left a $35.00 tip for the young lady +$11.00 that was left on a gift card, because none of this was her fault. Next time, I will spend the $150.00 at the grocery store a.d cook our own. Very disappointed One last point......please turn the music down just a bit. It was loud enough that everyone in the building had to talk louder just to have conversations, which in turn made it so no one could even have a casual conversation at our table.

Fantastic Steaks. Love the inside. Great service. My go to is the Filet Medallions. So tender. Skilled servers, knowledgeable about what they serve. Cannot go wrong eating here.

The food is usually consistently and a decent value for what you get. We went on a Sunday evening and the staff was nice for the most part, but it seemed like they were continuously rushing. Our server in particular, while trying to be efficient, wasn’t very welcoming. We were giving her our appetizer order and when we were about to tell her we’re ready to order, she abruptly left the table to put in into the system without saying a word. And then when she came to take the remaining orders for our main meal, she abruptly left before we could ask her additional questions about the meal. Not sure what was going on, but she was really rushed with everything which made for a less than stellar dining experience. Our food overall, was ok. Unfortunately the one of our steaks was over cooked and our blooming onion was raw in the middle. Might have been a result of the dinner rush, but I wish it was a better experience overall.

The food here is so amazing and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend the ribeye with seasoned rice. I could not get enough of their rice! Their strawberry coconut sprite is so dang good! I definitely recommend checking this place out! If you have a birthday person with you definitely let your waitress know. They put the birthday person on a bull made from wood while they sing. It's pretty cool.

Great Texas Roadhouse. Everything you’d expect from a top of the line preforming franchise restaurant. Food lived up to everyone of there standards and was delicious. Pulled the bones right out of my ribs. Juicy steaks. Great dinner.

I read somewhere that Texas Roadhouse is one of the most popular chain restaurants in the USA. After having it for the first time in a LONG time, I can see why. The soft bread is simply iconic. Enough said there. The Portobello mushroom chicken had all the fundamentals nailed down for a good chicken breast. It was juicy tender, and quite delicious! The fries were well salted, and their green beans have an extra smoky kick to them. By the end, I nearly went into a food coma! Prices are also reasonable. For everything, I paid just over $20 including tax and tip. In 2026, that is not bad!

I took some friends out to this place yesterday to help celebrate a recovery. While we've been here before I want to compliment you guys for the service (there was a mix up with sides... but if anyone has been to this location, on a Friday you can get here about there thirty it looks empty and than its packed in 15 minutes or so... we get it you guys were busy and it got fixed as soon as it was figured out). While our server was amazing, the rest of the staff assisted due to the busy evening (I think three birthdays while we were there, can't recall). Also, sorry we were talking about bit too long and should have left a little sooner, on such a busy night you guys probably wanted to flip the table. If your team reads this, thanks for all who helped out last night and try to have happy holidays in spite of the difficulty of the times.

First things first, Josh deserves a raise! He was so sweet our whole dinner and really made me feel special for my birthday. The prime ribs were amazing and perfectly cooked, and of course the rolls and sides were 10/10. We will be back to this location, mostly because of Josh! lol. Thank you again!!

I've been to this Texas Roadhouse twice now, and both times my food looked like it survived a house fire. First trip, I figured I'd go all in and get a steak -- you know, the thing they brag about. It came out charcoaled to the point I thought they were bringing me a burnt offering. Sent it back and the replacement somehow managed to be worse. Second time I thought, "Alright, maybe steak's not their thing," so I tried a burger instead. Big mistake. It came out looking like a hockey puck that lost a fight with a blowtorch. Asked for a new one and they brought me another -- straight from the campfire, apparently. McDonald's Quarter pound burger blows this out of the water. To top it off, the beer wasn't even cold. Like... c'mon, at least let me wash down the disappointment with a frosty drink. Other Roadhouse locations have been great, but this one? They must've hired someone who thinks "medium rare" means "set it on fire twice."

Had about a 50 minute wait on a Saturday night but to be expected. Once we got seated the service was sooo fast. Very attentive as well which was nice. The island cooler was super yummy and reminded me of a blue raspberry slushee. Got both the bbq chicken and sirloin since I couldn't decide what I wanted to eat. But that sirloin with the mushrooms and onions on top was hitting the spott. So stuffed by the end of it and had left overs.

Brad Allan ! Your staff was horrible today ! I walked in to get two gift cards for the veterans tree at the VA and noticed you had a promotion going to get a free 10$ voucher with a $50 gift card purchase . Upon speaking with the manager Cameron he stated that if I got two cards $24 each even if they matched the total Of $50 required He couldn't give me a voucher but told me I could buy $30 cards and get two $5 vouchers ! When I explained that issue with the limits on the cards allowed of $25 max he told me I could talk to the owner! Was a reasonable request on my part ! Should have easily been something that your establishment should have been able to help with ! Instead left empty handed !

pulled pork was not the usual, it was 1 inch cubes and spicy. I like spicy the wife absolutely not. When we confronted them that it was different they only argued it was not. They made that sell with no corrections to our food, but they have missed a dozen dinners since then because we will not go there again.

Manny was one of the best servers we have had in sometime. The food was very tasty and it was fast and perfect temperature.

16oz sirloin was perfectly cooked medium rare. Green beans were solid along with steamed veggies. Overall good carry out expiry Texas Roadhouse. What I love about Texas Roadhouse is that it's very consistent and you know what your gonna get no matter what location you go to

Literally the worst service I have ever experienced and me and my family will never be back to be that mad and rude to your customer because we had a baby with us who mind you is 10 months old and can eat his own food . I don't know if that MAN should keep his job with how rude he talk to us we just got up and left before ordering anything

It was a frustrating experience at the beginning because my nine year-old grandson chose this restaurant to celebrate his birthday on a super busy Saturday night (there were dozens of high school couples for sweethearts dance). We had three adults and four children--9 6 5 4--and were told our group had to split up unless we wanted to wait two hours to be seated at 10:00!! So I had two grandsons with me. The rest of our group was seated at least ten minutes before ours as they let several other groups ahead of us while we were in line. I complained to the manager so he finally got us a table with awesome server Julia. They were both attentive and kind. Our food came out within minutes (thankfully for the hungry boys). Julia kept our drinks refilled and brought several extra baskets of hot rolls and whipped butter. She gave us plenty of takeout containers and bags for food to take home. My grandson got to sit on the birthday saddle and was given a free vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce.

Treated my BIL to a birthday dinner here. It was my first time at Texas Roadhouse. My BIL loves steak and this was in our area. Budget friendly steakhouse whose waitress had a heart of gold and a smile to brighten anyone's day. No frills here, but when you're craving an affordable steak dinner this is a great choice. You don't see a lot of these affordable steakhouses around as you did in the past. (Shout out to Sizzlers lol) Glad to see Texas Roadhouse has stuck around to feed blue collar families and individuals looking for an affordable way to treat themselves. I'll definitely be back.

This is one of the best steak places I've been to! The food was served hot and had tons of flavor. Of course, their hot rolls stole the show, but the sweet potato and my prime rib were delicious! The service is so incredibly friendly and fast, always checking up on us and refilling our drinks. The ambiance is hectic--it's always busy and lively inside. If you can get reservations, you will be thankful that you don't have to wait in line too long.

Well this is a chain restaurant so the interior of these places are all pretty much the same. The wait time was not bad for a Saturday night but the process was odd. Our server was wonderful, very friendly and attentive. I wish I could remember his name so I can give him a shout out! My only disappointment was they were out of ribs! That's what I wanted. We had steak and chicken and fried pickles. All was good. And of course the rolls are delicious!

We have a party of 15, we're here from out of town so we were looking forward to eating together (I know right, eating together at a restaurant) yet they purposely sat us in 3 different tables across the whole restaurant. We walked by at least 5 tables that were next to each other and when I asked why can't they sit us all together here we got "those tables are seated" really? Because they're empty and it took you 20 minutes plus to sit them.... Rudeness left and right from the people that greet you. First impressions matter and you guys really do a great job at people feeling welcomed... Not! Never again.

I think that with most Texas themed steakhouses you expect a lot of the same type of environment. Usually it's a bit louder, a fair amount of yelling and fairly consistent food. I don't often see that our steaks are cooked to the wrong temp. With that in mind, my meal on my most recent visit was generally what I expected, it came out hot, seasoning was ok, and the experience was positive. Our waiter was fast and great about refilling drinks and bringing out food. I liked that we were able to joint the waitlist online this time, and that definitely makes it better than before.

My husband and I went to the Texas Roadhouse in Taylorsville last Friday night. It was an especially cold evening around 5:30 pm and the restaurant was packed. There is only a tiny space to sit and wait until you get called to a table. There is an absolutely freezing outdoor space that is not heated, regardless of the "heaters." The three young girls working, or just standing actually, yelled out that everyone needed to go outside and wait. I approached the tall girl with brown hair and asked her if she realized that she just ushered a dozen or so very senior citizens out into the freezing cold. She had the ignorant gall to tell me that the outdoor space is "nice and warm." I asked her how her conscience would allow her, as a child, to send the seniors right out the door with no feeling. My husband and I left because we will not support the rise in hate, bigotry, and intolerance that is so popular now. I tried getting a hold of the manager to let him or her aware of the situation, but I was not able to get through. That also felt like that was on purpose. All of this for D- food isn't worth the gift card it was printed on.

It be nice if the worker wasn't watching videos in the stall and proceed to piss all over the toilet seat when he was finished

We were celebrating my moms bday & we made a reservation for 10 people & my sister was running 10min late due to traffic & they didn't allow her to seat w us and it was very disappointing to have the spot empty and my mom couldn't have us all together, i dont think is okay to not allow clients to join after because life sometimes happens. Everything else was Good i just dont agree w this rule

Let's just start with the food. Decent to quite good steak (inconsistent?) but overcooked shrimp. At one time I had ordered fried catfish which was terrible. The waiter, when he noticed I wasn't finishing or boxing up the fish to go, responded "Yeah, I would never order fish or seafood here. " What? Instead of expounding on the food that is good, you talk about what you wouldn't eat yourself? Not a very good recommendation. We've been here many times with a party of 8+ as it's a favorite of my MIL's to celebrate birthdays. Only once have we ever been seated at the same table. That was a booth they extended awkwardly out with a chair at the end which other diners and waiters kept bumping into. Next time I go, I would love to post a better review than this.

Please don't support this location. We have always loved Texas Roadhouse until we were treated completely rude tonight by a manger. This is why people don't go out anymore. When you have a choice where you spend your hard earned money, choose somewhere that actually treats people with kindness and understanding. It was my daughter's 7th birthday and instead of it feeling fun to celebrate her, the experience of being met with a defensive immature manager turned into never wanting to return.

Merry Christmas Eve. We had a nice lunch today. It was nice to just slow down and have a nice lunch and not be the chef for once. lol The hubby had the prime rib. It was cooked to perfection and had the best garlic crust on the outside. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with white gravy. I swear the chicken cutlet was the size of my plate. It had a crunchy well seasoned Smokey flavor. Salads were fresh and chilly and let us not forget those dang rolls. So good! Service was attentive and kept our drinks filled and plates cleared. I def would like to come back and try their burgers and a few other things I saw on the menu.

I reached out to Texas Roadhouse Corporate about the poor service we received and getting food poisoning. I never received a response leading me to assume that they do not care about poor reviews or harming their customers.

My family and I mostly order take out from this location, I want to say we're eating takeout from this place 3-4 times a week, ZERO, 0.0 mistakes time after time. Order is always perfect and the way we ordered it, no matter how picky, they get it right every time!! 10/10 place!!

Barbecue chicken was cooked perfectly. My husband enjoyed his steak, cooked just like he requested. First time at this location. Great experience. :)

Our food was over cooked and dry when we picked up the order. They had it sitting for 15 minutes before my pick up time, and when I got it and saw how awful everything tasted I called to see about a refund. The manager was so rude and didn't want to refund me. She said we'd have to drive all the way back to give them to food a picture wouldn't work. When she finally said she could refund me half I said that's perfect thank you she said yup then just hung up. So unprofessional when they made a mistake.

OK so this place is really good when you want a good steak and rolls. The only thing is the music is horribly loud, I just can't stand that part. We have to always yell to even attempt to converse with each other. The service is great and the food is always delightful. Might need to start wearing ear plugs to come back though.

I'd say 4 stars for the food because it's always good, but never great. What I want to leave 5 stars for is the service we had tonight. Our waitress was Monica and she was absolutely great. Checked on us frequently, made great recommendations, and was able to carry on engaging conversations that kept us laughing and made us feel cared about. She is the standard for food service! Thank you Monica!

Texas Roadhouse is one my favorite places to eat. The food is awesome and I like the laid back atmosphere. There are, however, two big downsides. First, the place is packed, which corroborates my sentiments about it being good. Luckily you can join the waitlist online which cuts down your wait time extensively. Second, as it's a busy place, many people are talking and it's loud, but the kicker is the music. The music is SO loud. I'm not a huge country fan, but I enjoy some songs and it sets the tone, just maybe bring it down a few. That being said, I love a good steak and their steaks never disappoint. Also, their ranch is awesome! I'm a bit of a ranch snob, and theirs definitely passes the test. If you've never been here, go.

Food is amazing. Everything is amazing here. The servers are super nice. I love the energy this place creates. I always come happy and leave happy.

Of course the food here is always great, however you do need a reservation or get on the wait list on the weekend or you won't be eating for 2 hours. For some reason it's the most popular place in Taylorsville on a Friday/Saturday night. Expect a wait or get on the list online. The service is usually pretty good, quick, and friendly.

Didn't take my order then when I went in and talked to somebody still did not get the food I wanted, and the young people were incredibly rude

I never write reviews and I worked in customer service for 5+ years so I don't like to make a big deal over things, but the HORRIBLE service experience at the Taylorsville store in Utah that my family faced needs to be addressed so that this store doesn't treat other families like this in the future. I also know, nothing happens for events like this if no review is left, so here is the breakdown of my awful dining experience: My brother's birthday and Cyber Monday happen to fall on the same day and so my parents decided to use the buy $50 in e-gift cards and get $10 free deal. We went to have a nice night and celebrate! And please keep in mind, an e-giftcard can only be received online. Here is what went down: 1. We scanned two gift cards (we bought four) and the balance wasn't pulling properly, so we asked the server to check what the remaining balances were. She told us she would and that should would not charge them, simply check their balances. When she came back, she had run all of them as payments. 2. In running them, we had been charged twice for the tip and certain items. Now this could have been an accident on either side, it happens, so we decided to have a manager come over to help us get a refund and fix the overcharge. 3. I have never been so talked down to while at a restaurant in my life. My father is an accountant, and wrote down a breakout of what should have happened with the gift cards to simplify it for the manager when he came over. Instead, the manager talked down to my father saying "so two $50 gift cards is $100, which is less than your order" we agreed, but pointed out that we had been charged over $200 and that five gift cards had been used! We didn't have trouble adding, we had been charged twice. 4. Rather than solve it, Jacob, the manager, gave us a number to call to try and work it out (a mistake their staff had made). Fine. We called, it sent us to a telemarketing phone service, and while we are dealing with the issue, he went around exchanging pleasantries with other tables, rather than solving the problem at hand. 5. At this point we had been there for over 30 minutes, we finally got Jacob back to our table, and my mom tried to tell him about the phone number, to which he responded, "don't overreact, we're finding a solution together." .... No we weren't. He was expecting us to solve it on our own and notify him when it was done and we could get out of his hair. 6. Jacob finally understood the situation and said he would send the overcharged balance back to our gift card, but since he didn't know which gift card was overcharged, he couldn't tell us which one the balance would go back on. 7. We asked if we could put the balance on a different gift card then, no they can't (gave no explanation). All right, can we refund it to our credit card? No we use a third party. Fine, we'll take the gift card refund and just check them all when we get home. 8. As we leave, does Jacob apologize? No. He says "you should have bought the gift cards in store." A) It was a CYBER sale B) That was unnecessary and rude. 9. We get home and I call the store and speak to Cameron to ask that more attention be paid to how gift cards are handled and how customers are treated, as my parents did not deserve the treatment they received. Cameron did not apologize sincerely once, simply gave excuses as to why Jacob behaved in such a way, explained why they couldn't refund us in store (with a bunch of technical jargon), and that he would reiterate customer service. I thanked him. To finally answer some of my concerns, Cameron told me he would personally follow up on the gift card refund. 10. Then he told me not to not let this one bad experience stop us from coming back. (Didn't apologize here either) 11. 15 minutes later I receive a call from Texas Roadhouse, hoping they plan to properly apologize for how both Texas Roadhouse employees treated us, instead they asked if we knew which gift card was overcharged, because otherwise they couldn't refund it to us. We reiterated that it was them that told us they didn't know which one had been overcharged when they ran it in the back in the first place. 12. The solution? Send us a voucher of the same amount. I asked if there are any difference between that and a gift card, and he said we would receive it in an email and it would have a barcode that would be used like a coupon... he failed to mention it has an expiration date in 2 months. 13. If I had not called to reflect our experience, they would have not had a way to contact us to let us know we wouldn't be receiving our refund on a gift card. This feels slimy to me. If we didn't follow up, they would get away with not refunding us without us having much proof beyond a receipt that doesn't reflect everything properly. 14. Still no attempts to make amends or apologize have been made. If you are in Utah and want to eat at Texas Roadhouse DO NOT go to the one in Taylorsville.

It wasn't all bad, when we first got there we knew we had to wait in line, which was fine. But then they said they were ready to seat us, and made us stand in wait for another 8 minutes, I don't mind sitting and waiting, but standing for that long just makes my back ache. We got sat down the waiter came and he was fantastic! But then he had to go somewhere, must have been a shift change. The next waiter came and he was great too. Everything was good and I was happy, until we paid. I asked for a refill on my coffee, and the waiters mood had entirely changed, to "Why don't you just get the hell out! I've already got everything I can from you why are you bothering me?" So, this experience went to from bad, to good, then to very bad right as I was leaving! So, I was angry when I left, and I don't need that crap in my life! My review is because it was done at the end of the meal. If it was in the middle of the meal it would have been 4 to 4.5 stars.

So I went here twice both times the food was great. The server We had were very attentive and made sure the food was to our liking. The ambiance was okay I've never been to Texas so I don't really know what I'm supposed to be looking at regarding the ambiance. However the Cinnamon rolls the Cinnamon rolls are to die for.

Wow!!! Great place and 1st time I've been to a Texas Roadhouse with no bar. I ordered the 8oz Dallas filet and it was great. I had Jordan for my waiter and he was excellent... super friendly and great service. The restaurant was pretty crowded and I still got my food quick. The manager Kari even came by to ensure my food and service was great. Super friendly and nice and we chatted for a good 5 minutes. Great customer service. I stopped here during my travels from Las Vegas and I will say this service and patron engagement is top notch. It's employees like Jordan and Kari that make me a return customer. Highly recommend this Texas Roadhouse. Great food, service and experience.

Josh at Taylorsville Texas Roadhouse WORST SERVER. Did not return to check on us, did not inform us of the delay in the kitchen, did not even bring me A1 sauce when asked. We literally spoke to him to order then never saw him again he didn't even run out our food. When I asked for A1 sauce we had to go find him and he continued to go to the other tables to get their orders. I had to go find sauce from another table and when he did finally bring the A1 I had finished my steak. We were quoted a 20-30 minute wait, sat an hour later and waited an additional hour for our food. Overall worst experience, Josh was the cherry on top.

Overpriced. Bad carry out twice in a row. Dry steak, barely any sour cream for the potato. Ridiculously small house salad. Dry dry dry like the Sahara.

I ordered takeout online & the lady at the takeout window was sweeter than the tea she served me! She made my day better with her kindness. It's not everywhere you get service like this anymore. She seems to enjoy her job & making sure customers are happily taken care of. :) I'm trying to shed some extra weight, so I ordered the Lil Dillo bites with a sweet potato, which was yummy & very filling!

I ordered the steak medium well (hey im not eating raw anything). The meat was cooked properly and tasted good. The shrimp was also good and not soggy. The Fries ..... now they were soggy and limp. I also got the house salad which was good with Bleu Cheese dressings. When we got to the table there was a basket of warm bread along with some cold butter. The butter had cinnamon and sugar, which is fine but I'm not a fan of cinnamon. Overall it was a good meal and I didnt leave hungry. At least my waiter Jeremy was very attentive which was greatly appreciated. And now that I think of it all the employees were nice which is amazing since they were all hustling. Will I go back again? Why yes I would indeed.

When I order food here to go , it is always on time and we'll packaged, making sure every single one of my items is in there . Everyone is nice and welcoming .

I don't know how they do it here. The management of Texas needs to be moved to other restaurant chains because they know how to motivate their employees to get things done. I've been coming here for a few years now and have almost always been impressed. You won't find lackadaisical attitudes here! Everyone is on the ball making sure you're takin care of. Tip: this place is busy but don't worry. plan ahead, use the app to get on the list before you arrive.

Le was a great server! (My little sister accidentally put 1 star in the end of the payment when the little kiosk asks) but he was great. Management (or whoever he is), Cameron, on the other hand was not very friendly. I asked him to take an order back because the texture of the chicken was not good and tasted undercooked. And he told me that's just how their chicken is (never heard of chicken just being rubbery). He did bring it back and it was better, so I'm giving it a higher review. And Le was a great server - if it was only from his service i'd give it a 5/5. Also, it's really loud in there so it's hard to hear each other or even the server.
