First time visiting this restaurant. The service was amazingly great and I loved how the owner was working as well. The food was good. However, I ordered stew peas to go and when I ate them today… let’s just say aht aht! I’ve made better at home (they have corn and potatoes in their stew pies, and no). Please just take it off the menu. Overall, great experience. Drink was great, food for the most part was good, music was on point, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend and I will be back

This restaurant is a hidden gem! I came after work and was greeted with warm smiles. Dion was hospitable and informative. I ordered a “homemade” Ginger Beer and it was FIRE! I will never buy another bottle Ginger Beer again. It was so fresh, it had that fresh ginger bite/kick to it. My appetizer was the Fritters and they were cooked to perfection. Crispy outside and soft flavor bomb inside. I almost ate the plate because of the spicy tartar sauce! 🤤 Entrée: Curry lamb, rice and peas, the cabbage was seasoned so good!!! Plantains were so sweet cooked perfectly! Just come eat anything here!! Quality and Quantity!! They don’t price gouge! I haven’t seen a Jamaican restaurant with meals under $20 in YEARS!!!

Me and my best friend were looking for something good to eat on the south side and found this hidden gem. The bartender was sooo wonderful it felt like talking to my auntie. We will absolutely be back! Oh I got the TFK pasta with oxtails *chefs kiss* delicious and my drink was something with watermelon spice, perfect!

I found Spicy Hill Restaurant by searching for some restaurants on Google. After viewing some of the photos, reviews and the menu of this restaurant, I decided that I’d like to give it a try. I purchased the salmon quesadillas appetizer and the jerk salmon pasta and I was not disappointed. The food was well seasoned, flavorful, and yummy. I surely will be returning.

My family and i stopped by after being recommended by my loctician and we loved it! Leanne was so sweet and walked us through the menu. My family doesn’t know much about Caribbean cuisine but the staff were so nice and explained everything to us so we could make the best choice. I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas and it was great!

I found this place searching for vegan food for my fast. I needed SOMETHING other than the madness I’ve been creating at home! Lol! So I found they serve Ital Curry Stew here (never had it) and I had it with Jasmine rice. YALL! This dish was amazing! I left in a whole good mood and warm! I’m not even Jamaican but I felt like that’s what their home is like. The restaurant was clean and homely as well. They have great drinks I plan to come back and try next month once my fast is over but for now they are truly heaven sent with these dishes I can eat guilt free! I did not get my sever name but she was amazing from the moment I walked in and was very informative on the menu and helping me decide on the correct dish.

Curry chicken was good. Rice was cooked perfectly. Rum punch was delicious. Service was super slow. Took over a hour for out to go good. Went in the middle of the day and they were already out of oxtails..😒.

The food here is amazing! The bartender was very polite. I enjoyed my order, except the rice. The texture was not too pleasurable and I hope it gets changed in the future (Basmati or Jasmine would be nice)… Mac n Cheese was HOT & FRESH! 😋 Thank you.
