TGI Fridays

Food was delicious for a chain restaurant. I had the French onion soup and a cobb salad. My daughter had the Cobb as well and my granddaughter had the ribs and tender special. She enjoyed hers as well.

Went to Fridays on Tech Rd for lunch waited about 10 minutes before the greeter finally came back to service someone ahead of me then when I told her that I was person that about water she asked me if I could wait while she took a party to see them, which was no problem. However, I ordered my food. I specifically asked for two extra condiments which was not placed in my bag just to get back to work and my food look like it was food that was in there from yesterday and not cook crushed today. I ordered the Whiskey signature platter the ribs look like they were leftover ribs from the day or two before The chicken bites or fries so hard I couldn’t enjoy them.

When I walked in the host asked “restaurant or bar” no greeting no smile - just restaurant or bar. He began walking away and looked back to motion us to follow him. Unwelcoming and not polite. Server moved extremely slow. She was not attentive. The food came out cold and my sauce was brown thick and overcooked just like the tiny shrimp (nothing like the picture) Wouldn’t want to come back here. The driest Fridays ever. I did see a server let a table with a party of about 8 people👀split the bill. She went person to person to collect payment while we waited for our check. This place seems like no one likes their job or wants to be there. There was a busboy very friendly and helpful. He had a nice smile and made small talk to the best of his ability!

I ordered sesame chicken strips through DoorDash and unfortunately was left quite disappointed. The Chicken was not fully cooked parts were visible pink and undercooked which immediately raised concerns about food safety since it can pose serious health risks. Of course I did not eat it but I really hope the restaurant steps up its quality control in the kitchen because an issue like this can easily ruin what could have been an enjoyable meal.

Wings and salad! Also love the ribs. We are lucky enough to still have a Fridays in our neighborhood. Wish they had a better manager. Current manager is horrible, disagreeable and misinformed about specials and emails that we receive. He also has an “attitude!” We are often told that an offer does not exist and we have to produce proof from our email account. Servers are very helpful. Unfortunately, there seems to be a “revolving door” when it comes to staffing. There is no consistency and restaurant is understaffed. quieter section where we like to sit is always closed. Hopefully business will improve. We do not want this location to close.

It was my first time visiting this location last night. Very nice atmosphere with the exception of was cold, and the waitress was up front watching the game with no acknowledgement of us until 10 minutes later. Lastly the food came out quickly with a few errors that I had to get rectified. It was unsanitary encounter from the lady who worked the front door. She left the door , and brought my dish to me when our waitress was busy. Totally unacceptable, not too mention it was only 2 staffs working.

Mariam has been such awesome bartender for us! This was around second time hete and the food and service is amazing!

Fun spot for inexpensive drinks and bites. On Fridays, they have a DJ and dance floor. It's a fun and safe environment. Free and ample parking.

We were in town the night before my husband's heart procedure at the nearby Adventist HealthCare at White Oak Medical Center. Stayed at the closest hotel. Trying to find a place to eat dinner the night before. Have to say, I was skeptical because the reviews for this place were terrible. However, we were pleasantly surprised! Yes, like a lot of places, the server had many tables to wait on, but we were not in a rush. We are not "those people" that start complaining if the server doesn't run up to our table to get a drink order as soon as we sit down. We got the appetizer pretzel bites and they were delicious. Really hot. Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta was delicious. My husband said his fish and chips were really good too. He ordered the fish slightly extra crispy. I got the peach sangria drink, and it was also really good! There was quite a lot in the glass, as opposed to most places where you get nothing but all ice. If I lived in this area, I would definitely come back.

The only thing I go here was ignored. Menu on the table was so dirty and gross, I'm kind of glad they didn't take my order.

As mentioned in previous reviews, service was extremely slow for a Thursday noon lunch. When my friend and I got there, we were asked to wait 5 minutes before being seated. A minute later, a group of three arrived and was also asked to wait 5 minutes. I looked around and saw a large group of 10 people and a few small tables occupied by a couple of diners. There was plenty of empty tables. When we did get seated, we were told that there was only one server for the entire restaurant. We waited some time before the only server came to our table. By this time we already knew what we wanted so we placed both our drink and entree order at the same time knowing it would be a while before she got back to us. I only got the Signature Whiskey-Glaze Sampler as my entree. This included crispy shrimp, sesame chicken, and ribs. The food was typical and fine. I'm glad it didn't take too long to bring us the food. I know the server was busy with the large party but I think the person seating customers could have helped out. Since this was my work lunch hour, I couldn't stay too long. It took a while again to get our check. We were ready to pay immediately but the server didn't come for what seemed like a really long time. I had to walk up to the front to get someone's attention so we could pay. Though I think the server was very nice and did the best she could, TGIFridays cannot have one person serve an entire restaurant. Parking gets a little crowded during main busy times but there is enough spaces if you need it. There is congestion near the front curbs of some of the places as people line up for drive ups. This should be eliminated now that the pandemic is over.

I'll admit that I only stopped by this TGI Fridays because I had an hour or so to kill before running my next errand. The restaurant has all the makings (brand-wise) for a TGI Fridays; however, there were a couple of things that made this a subpar experience compared to my other TGI Fridays experiences. I'll start with the good. While service was a bit slow, I thought the bartender that waited on me was super nice. I have a feeling that service was a bit slow because there was a few large parties, and the restaurant appeared to be short-staffed. I think I waited about 10-15 minutes before the bartender took my order. When I arrived, I sat at the bar for a while and did not see the bartender. So I went to the restroom figuring that I could pee and wash my hands while waiting for the bartender to return (who knows maybe she returned and left while I was in the restroom). I came back out and still had to wait for about 10 minutes for some assistance. I thought the prices were comparable to other similar restaurants in the area. Things that could have been better: 1. I visited on a Saturday night, and temps were in the low 40s F. Unfortunately, I think there was little to no heat on in the restaurant. Normally, this would not be a huge problem, but the bar is situated right next to the double doors. Also, folks would hold both set of doors open at the same time while entering and leaving the restaurant. I guess the latter is more of an issue with the customers and less on the restaurant. 2. During my visit, I was sadden to learn that the bar did not have ANY draft beers available. I could understand the restaurant not having 1-2 draft beers in stock, but not having ANY seemed a bit strange. Perhaps, the restaurant was having some technical issues. 3. I ordered a cup of French onion soup and a side of fries. I thought the fries had way too much salt + other seasons, which made them pretty inedible.

It wasn't great but I had that expectation going in. The food is just okay. The service wasn't terrible but was a little slow. I think part of their issue is that they were short staffed and maybe they are most of the time, I'm not sure (however based on other reviews it seems like it's consistently slow). The bartender was our server and we were not in the bar, she actually had a couple of tables in the restaurant so it wasn't the most efficient setup. She was however really good in that she took our order and got everything right. She took the order and ran the food out, for every one of her tables so she was busy. I think they could do better by sharing table responsibilities and of course tips, but also having a handheld machine to send the order immediately back to the kitchen which would help with speed. Ambiance was okay, but they had really loud music from the bar and that was drowning out the music over the speakers in the main restaurant. I'd be okay with either, but just turn one of the two off. I don't see us going back anytime soon, but it was good to reinforce what we already were expecting. Lastly the app mentioned something about $2 beers, our server said they didn't know about that. That was an issue at the Rockville location (now closed) as well. The staff isn't familiar with what their Corporate office is advertising, which is also a problem.

Beware: this location is out for your money!!! Went for ALL DAY Free Meals for Teachers on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 as advertised ONLINE! This location printed out their own advertisement that said the free meal for teachers was from 3pm - 7pm. (Conveniently during Happy Hour only???) They just wanted our money!!! The staff was anything but helpful and said "That's corporate but this is a franchise." in response to seeing the photo. When we asked to speak to the manager, the bartenders went to the back of the restaurant to talk to patrons not to look for the manager. The ambiance was extremely loud with music blasting. You had to yell to the people sitting next to you in order to have a conversation!

Hundreds of reviews and only 2 stars should have told me not to go here, but in general, I like this chain, so I wanted stopped in for dinner. Mistake. It's half restaurant, half nightclub. The music was so LOUD! that I couldn't stay to enjoy a nice meal. If you want to enjoy your meal, if you want to have a conversation with those you are with (or anyone), if you need to conduct business (phone call, work, dinner meeting), then go somewhere else, anywhere else. If you want your ears ringing when you leave, if you want a headache, if don't want to speak to those you are dining with, then this may be a good place for you. Don't go. There are other options in the area. You can find something else, I'm sure.

Good & Drinks are also.Bartender for polite the waitresses does an amazing job. The bathroom is extremely to cold tho.

My order had 3 items. I paid for the whole order and at home opened the bag. 2 of the 3 items were there. So I called the place 10 times and they never answered. No I can't recommend this place. I paid for an education but you can get it for free.

Awful!!! "Strawberry lemonade" turned out to be water with a pinch of strawberry syrup. Swapped for a blueberry Raspberry lemonade. Same thing. Food...just ok... Service was VERY slow, the word thing is , it wasn't busy at all!! There were however, lots of angry faces waiting for their uber eats/ pick up orders.

I tend to only come in when Tae is bartending. I personally get the sides because they are filling and affordable. Wing mondays are great too. Get the garlic Parm.

Worst location.... If you gone have someone taking orders over the phone make sure the speak GOOD ENGLISH and know the menu, literally had to order a damn burger I didn't want cause this woman couldn't speak a damn word of English never again

Came here Friday night around 7pm - Karaoke was going on in the background - that was fun to watch! The wings were very good! Our group just ordered a bunch of wings. I ordered the "Table-Tizer" it's just a bigger version of the classic Friday's combo - wing flavor I got was Whiskey Glaze Blaze - 1000% recommend the Whiskey Glaze flavor! The reason I am giving this Friday's a 2 star is not because of the food, the food was great, it's because of the service. We sat down and we're attended quick. We asked if possible to get more than one flavor of wings on our apps and the waitress said no because it was too complicated and the people in the kitchen were "uneducated" - I don't care who you are you don't talk about your co workers like that. After that she brought an incorrect order and we politely told her it was incorrect and she gave us NASTY attitude saying that's what we ordered. It was like talking to a smart mouth 13 y/o - very unprofessional. Though the wings were great- I will probably never come back to this location based off service alone.

I've been ordering delivery from this location for the past year and I always get the Signature Whisky-Glaze Burger with French fries. I'm always pleased with my burger and unlike a lot of places, they actually cook it to the temperature ordered and don't overcook it (too much). Sometimes the portion of French fries can be a bit skimpy but this order was sufficient and I enjoy their garlic flavor. They forgot to include a utensil set and the extra whisky glaze sauce I ordered and this has happened a few times in the past. I advise calling to make sure extra sauces or condiments, especially ones that are paid for are included in the bag because they tend to forget.

The bartender Desmond is one of the best I ever had!!! the customer service is over all 1000 out of 10!!!! As long as he is here you guys will always have me as a customer!!! Thank you DR. Darius Williams

Value meals were great. Food came out quick. I definitely recommend the Cobb salad with blackened salmon. And our server D was amazing.

11 AM on a Saturday. We were the only ones there for a good 1/2 hour. Service was very very slow. I had to go find the host to get server so we could pay and leave. They also had the advertised $50 gc get a $20 bonus which the hist and server had no idea what to do. Finally they spoke to the manager who said it was a limited time deal and no longer offered. Then why still advertise it?! Food is as expected.

Tried this location for the first time. I ordered a tried and true - i thought, dish.. the Cajun chicken & shrimp and it tasted burnt and not flavored/seasoned. My friend got the al pastor and it wasn't that great either. Please revisit the dishes before sending out. Service was good though. Fried shrimp as a side was good. Food came out quickly for to-go.

Pre-ordered the $28 Friday Feast for pickup at 1pm on weekday more than one hour ahead. Arrived around 1:02pm, but nobody at the front desk. Walked up to the bar, and saw a staff serving two small groups there. Went around the aisle, and saw one table of patrons. I saw our bag of lunch waiting on the shelf, but did not want to go in to fetch it. After eight or so minutes of waiting, someone finally came out to hand over our bag of food. The Pan Seared Pot Stickers were still warm and well cooked. The Caesar Salad with Chicken met expectation. The Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken was tasted average. The ice cream had begun melting. The Brownie Obsession was topped with chocolate syrup.

The server, Shawn, was polite and very hard working. We were very grateful for all he did to make sure our table was served well.We are very grateful for all that he did. He was working with multiple tables and he still served us very well.

Mariam was amazing! She was helpful and made our happy hour experience so fun. She's the best! The food and drinks were so delicious. It's a perfect spot for after work.

I ordered the 12 oz medium tell me why around 4oz left of meat was still pink ? Mac and cheese 7.6/10 Mashed potatoes 7/10 for the steak it was like they only grilled one side and brought it to me on the cooked side just flip your steak to make sure it aint raw

My daughter and I went to TGIF at the Annapolis Harbor Center-location today for lunch. The young lady that greeted us and escorted us to our table was delightful. She apparently was multi tasking as hostess and our waitress. I noticed that there were hardly any customers and then I understood why. The food was awful! I ordered the 6oz sirloin it was tasteless and inedible. I couldn't eat it. My daughter had salmon and it was slightly better but not good. The women's room was dirty and quite disgusting. If the restrooms are unsanitary how about the kitchen??? I did not return my order or complain because it clearly wasn't the multi tasking waitresses fault. $53.00 down the drain. We obviously will not be returning and will share our unpleasant experience with family and friends.

The last few times I've visited this place, I received excellent service from Desmond. He tends the bar with exceptional customer service. He greets everyone and makes everyone feel welcomed. My order is always correct when I place it with him. He was also very patient with me as I struggled with using my rewards. Thank you, Desmond. I hope management realizes they have a gem with you working there.

Very fresh salad. The Philly Cheesesteak was not the best I ever ate, but was tasty enough. Ry, our server was Great! Very attentive - making sure everything was good. Also very friendly. It was a pleasure to have her as our server.

TGIF's service @ ambience @ the bar is always top notch. Tae especially plays close attention to all bar patrons to ensure they are receiving best service no matter how busy the bar is. The music always enhances the experience. Love TGIF's @ Tech Road.

Some of the employees was unprofessional as if they did not want to be here... especially when it came to get our order but ended up only getting one of us not paying attention to all of our orders and only having one thing on her pad and we didn't find out till we ask how long the food would take...

I ordered online delivery, so the service will never be the same as being there in person. With that being said, I called and spoke with the Manager Lomax. I informed him what was missing, and the ranch is not a big deal, but the Loaded mash I paid for. I had a similar problem across the way at IHOP, an order i didn't get at all. She asked me for the last four on my card,and in minutes, I had an email with my refund. With IHOP, I had no problem. Please explain to me why I am still waiting on my refund from TGIF Lomax or other Manager or Upper Management??? The sad part about it is that I had to order Loaded mash from IHOP. TGIF you need to do better. By the way it's not my 1st issue,I ordered a regular house salad with ceaser dressing, why did I get a ceaser salad??? I'm sure you make that you make sure your employees and Manager can read or do you???

Visited for a soccer tournament and had a very lovely dinner. Amber served us and was such a breath of fresh air. She greeted us with smiles and was so pleasant and welcoming. She really made our dinner amazing. It was so busy but she made sure to continually check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Amber!!!

I came to the bar and Dez treated me so good! I was pleasantly surprised by the great service even on a holiday! Thank you so much Dez for making my Christmas great! Great service , great drinks, good food!

The service was absolutely terrible the front door hostess was extremely rude when greeting, honestly didn't even want to ask her a question. What made it worse is I just had to wait almost an hour for my food to be ready and while waiting no one checked on me or asked about my food. To make it worse I saw others getting there order before mine even tho I ordered before them. I'm definitely never coming back to eat at this Friday ever

This place had some horrible reviews recently. I wanted to add my excellent experience last week. The restaurant was not busy during lunch. The service was excellent and my food was perfect. I was craving for a big salad so I decided on the Cobb salad with grilled salmon. The salad was huge filled with good portions of each ingredients. It wasn't just lettuce. The ingredients were fresh. This definitely was satisfying and filled my craving.

I LOVE THIS TGI FRIDAYS! Only thing that keeps this place afloat is the bartenders. Mariam specifically is my favorite. She makes amazing drinks & is always very knowledgeable about the menu & has A1 service everytime!

Dez is the best bartender in here! He is so attentive to you and makes sure you enjoy your time, food & DRINKS! The atmosphere was amazing! If you ever go to Fridays Tech Rd, ask for DEZ! You will not regret it!

Mariam was a wonderful host food was amazing and our order arrived in perfect time. One thing that stood out is when Mariam took all 4 of our orders without pin or pad and memorized it and read it back to us fantastic.

By far the WORST experience I have had out in a while. We decided as a family of four ( two young kids) to go to a "family friendly" restaurant. We arrived a little after 5:30pm hoping we would beat the dinner rush. There were about ten tables occupied. To be efficient, with kids, we always order appetizer and entrees together. 10-15 minutes after placing our order the waitress comes back to our table to let us know that they do not have any Broccoli......so we changed our sides. This wasted so much time considering we had hungry kids. It took over 45 minutes for our appetizer to come out. My kids ate all the snacks I brought in because the wait was SO long. The appetizer finally came out and waited another 10-15 minutes for our entrees. The food was beyond subpar. The presentation and taste reminded of awful hospital food. Once we were finished eating our waitress was nowhere to be found. Us and another table were looking around to get our check. I was very very disappointed in our experience and will not be returning to another Friday's.

Servers were very attentive!!! Ry and Gabby. We were a huge party. They were fast, friendly and on top of it!!! Keep up the good work!!!

El servicio es muy malo, pasamos mas de 15 minutos para que alguien llegara a la recepción, los empleados nos veían pero nadie nos atendió. Ya hemos llegado varias veces y el servicio siempre es lento pero hoy fue peor. Por eso decidimos ir a buscar otro restaurante.
