"He brings up TGI Friday’s new tandoori chicken fajitas as an example of the ways mainstream restaurants are still carelessly co-opting flavors." - Jaya Saxena

"The meal kits are part of the restaurant’s new Butcher Shop concept, consisting of uncooked, pre-cut, pre-seasoned meats paired with various sides and toppings (the surf & turf kit, for example, boasts two steaks, four chicken breasts, two salmon filets, 18 garlic-marinated shrimp, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and salad, for $65). TGI Fridays, which has had to close dozens of locations during the pandemic, is marketing the meal kits as a way to bring the restaurant’s “signature flavors home.”" - Jenny G. Zhang

"TGI Fridays is the kind of casual dining chain and sports bar that encouraged dining in. Which, at a time when eating at a restaurant is either impossible or comes with extreme restrictions, isn’t great for business. In an interview with Bloomberg, CEO Ray Blanchette says revenue is down about 50%, even with pick-up and delivery services, and up to 20% of the company’s 386 locations may close permanently. 'Some will close forever, without a doubt,' he said. 'Right now it’s all triage and it’s all about cash: How are you going to make it through and keep the company solvent?'" - Jaya Saxena

Finn was amazing and super hospitable!! He was hella knowledgeable on menu options and deserves a raise for how on point he made this lunch date with my mom!! And that Mango Thai Salad (may be saying it wrong but it’s in the pic gallery for reference to ur waiter/waitress 🥰) was amazing lol and the Margarita Shrimp Appetizer was EXPLOSIVE with flavor!! Thank you TGIF again this was awesome!!

Went to this establishment today and was not a good experience from being sat by the host to the table to the waiter. This place is extremely dirty. The employees need a little self care. The waiter we had kept calling my grown son "Boss" of which I cringed with each one. So unprofessional. The walls were filthy. I ordered the cobb salad but when I asked if they make a house dressing the waiter was unfamiliar with that term so asked if they homemade any of the dressings and was unsure nor made any attempt to find out, but what do you expect from a waiter that is wearing a hoodie with his lanyard and keys hanging out from his pant pocket down to his knee cap, shirt untucked. Son ordered boneless wings and house salad. They do put cucumbers on all salads and asked for no cucumbers on both salads. Well low and behold came outbwith cucumbers. Told waiter had cucumbers and said oh sorry I will take it off the bill, the thing is there was no replacement or even offer for another to make it right. The wings that my son ordered were applebutter bbq. I do not recommend. Notice the nice brown and translucent celery sticks that were provided. They had to have been frozen. If you have nothing better than that then don't serve it.

We wanted to try TGIF before it closed completely, and now I understand that this was a BAD idea and there is a good reason they are closing! We had the spinach dip….not impressive,,,chips were very thin….tiny condiment cup of salsa appeared watered down. His triple combo wasn’t bad, although the ribs had only scraps of meat on the edges, and my Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta was basically inedible….yes, I just had to let it sit. The atmosphere was pretty depressing, and it’s no wonder, as the staff were likely preparing for the death knell. My husband actually overheard staff discussing how empty it’s been. The physical appearance of the interior looked like they opened up and never touched it again. Very time worn! No wonder the place was empty…..I mean the food was not impressive, really pretty bad, but the final blow came with our bill, one appetizer, two meals, 3 beers and 3 mixed drinks, $112 before the tip. Now, this would be a bargain if the food was good, or even edible, but Fazzolli’s blows their pasta out the window, and they are a fast food chain! Please, trust me, there’s a reason TGIF is belly up, don’t waste your money like we did.

Hadn’t been here in a very long time and they were not busy on a Friday evening of a holiday weekend. We ordered a couple drinks, a steak dinner and a burger. All the food was great as well as the drinks. Wonderful customer service from the bartender. We were checked on multiple times. Very excellent customer service. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I were in town for an HVAC job and decided to stop and grab a bite before heading back home. Since our city no longer has a TGI Friday's and it's been YEARS since either of us have eaten there, we decided to stop, moreso to reminisce of the olden days of sizzling chicken and warm pretzels. Let's start with the positive... we were sat rather quickly. The dining area was clean. Our server was a very sweet, soft-spoken young lady with a short blonde afro. She quickly took our drink (and brought them promptly) and appetizer order and answered all the questions we had. She was very patient even when I was indecisive. Our food was served very hot and fresh. To the negative... the parking lot looked deserted. There wasn't a hostess at the hostess stand, so we had to peek into the dining area to get someone's attention to be seated. When our entrees came out (the husband ordered the BIG AF Philly cheesesteak burger, medium well, and I ordered the sizzling chicken and shrimp entree and a side of lemon-butter broccoli), his burger and fries were in some kind of pink liquid. We thought that maybe the burger was undercooked and it was just juices, but it was actually OVERCOOKED, and we couldn't figure out what the pink liquid was from. The husband said it was inedible and tasted foul. My broccoli had no hint of lemon or butter flavor to it. It was tasted microwaved (positive note, it wasn't mushy at all). The main entree tasted scorched... from the burnt cheese to the paper thin chicken breast to the flavorless tail on rubbery shrimp. The only thing good on the entire plate was the mashed potatoes, and they were brown on the bottom! When we asked a staff member to get our server, including the manager, they just yelled out, "HEY, YOUR TABLE WANTS YOU!" The server kept apologizing for the lackluster kitchen, which was by no means her fault. Thankfully, they comped our meals, but we paid for our drinks and appetizer. Now I understand why they never rebuilt TGI Friday's back in our area after the tornado hit so many years ago. Such a disappointment and sad experience. 😔

Quoshon was very kind and helpful with the menu and everything tasted WAY better than the last time I went to a Friday's! The manager was also amazing! He we're notified that they were short staffed, however, we witnessed the manager taking orders, getting drinks, running food, and I can only assume helping in the kitchen in between, all with great time management and customer service. 5/5
