Yelp
Two stars should say it all, but I'll add a little more detail for you.
The food - it's not good. I ordered a money bag, which is a type of dumpling shaped like money bags. It looked fine, but the problem is that it tasted like fried chicken nuggets. Can you imagine eating a dumpling at a Thai restaurant and thinking that it tastes like fast food? Yea, not good!
I also ordered their ginger dish with chicken. Also, not good. I came with my sister in law who tried the green curry and that was a little better, but not by much.
Service - so we had an odd experience. When we entered the restaurant there was no other patron there. So, we asked if we could sit at a spot at the front. We were told that the spot we chose was meant for four people and since we were just two, we could not sit there. Interesting enough, when two white people came in, the same server who said we could not sit there, decided to seat the two white patrons in the spot we originally requested. Now, I'm not one to claim prejudice, racism, or whatever. And sure, I know full well that almost all Asian cultures despise dark skin, Thai obsessions included. But then again, some people are just plain rude and nasty. So, I can't say definitively what happened here, but the optics of this situation really makes me wonder. No matter what, I can say this for sure - THIS PLACE LEFT A BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH.
Would I, after this experience, ever come back here to terrible tasting cuisine and questionable service? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
So, it shouldn't surprise you that I won't recommend this place. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they shut down soon - I see no value to anything they have to offer.
